We had a great time visiting with our family. The staff was very friendly, and especially engaged with our seven year old son which only made his experience even better. Cats were a blast to play with and it’s well worth the money for the experience!

Went in a group and had a great time. Our 30-minute time slot FLEW by. All the cats are adorable. A few of them are available for adoption. Staff are very friendly. Highly recommend buying some cat food so you can feed them. The second you open that bag, they'll come running.

I had a great time at Crumbs and Whiskers! It’s great for all ages and the staff is really knowledgeable and interactive. When I was there, Sydney, Savannah, and Brynn were there and they did a great job of helping us navigate our time with the kitties. I even got some cute merch at the end. Definitely recommend!!!

Google
A Fun place to be, appreciate a cat cafe is accessible in our area. This is our 3rd time here , a bit pricey $75 for 90min, bit worth it if you need to get your cats fix in 😊 You can order drinks here and crumbl cookies from next door. Located below James Allen, parking garage across the street. $20 flat rate on the weekend Staff are friendly. Cozy and furry atmosphere. This time during our session, there was a camera crew shooting footage at the same time. Do recommend.

Google
If you love cats then this is the place for you. Super friendly staff, air conditioned and the most adorable kitties!! Wish we had more time than just a half hour.

Google
Really cute cat cafe with light fare and drinks available. Comfortable areas to play and lounge with the adoptable cats. Convenient location right near all the shops and restaurants.

My kiddo and I thoroughly enjoyed chilling out with Millie, Tilly, and friends! The tea lemonade and water were refreshing, too. The staff, comfy environment, and the cats were just the relaxing oasis we needed during our trip to DC with heat index of 108.

I did a walk in but they also do appointments. Very much enjoyed my time and loved seeing all the playful cats. The staff were all very welcoming ♥️

Yelp
The cafe is doing god's work. I volunteer and foster for Homeward Trails and came by this cafe which partners with them to see some bonded cats- they are among the most difficult to get adopted, which is why we thought we'd serve the cause better this way. The only thing is, it takes weeks to get the cats if you go through the cafe- not sure what that's about so we actually decided against adopting the ones we had our eyes on so Thad we don't have to wait till Thanksgiving to get our babies settled. We are now adopting directly from Homeward. Not sure if they sell any drinks but it's really cutely decorated. They are serious about the time limits. We paid for the 70 min session and had loads of fun saying hello to the babies. Thank you for doing god's work!!!!

Yelp
This is such a fun place and holds a special place in my heart because I received my own cat here while they still had the cat cafe for older cats. They have various events, like cat yoga and trivia. I have been to cat yoga as. The instructor was great! The people there were also super nice and helpful. They know all about the cats. In terms of food, they are connected with levain bakery so you can get cookie and coffee, but make sure you don't give any to the kitties They have swag for purchase also. At the end of your visit, they give you a Polaroid during your visit and a free sticker. Definitely come here if you're looking for a stress free fun time with some adorable kittens!!

Yelp
Amazing location with amazing cats to see and interact with. Every cat in the cafe is very friendly and ready to interact with you. The ability to adopt them means that many cats will get friendly happy homes due to the outreach. The coffee we ordered was also very good and there is no complaints on that. Overall a very cozy space with lots of cats and would come again.

Yelp
Had such a fun time here! The cats are so sweet and the staff was friendly too! I love the Polaroid that they give you! It does smell quite strongly inside and while you get used to it, an air purifier might be helpful! But overall a fun experience playing with some cute kitties!

Yelp
Our half-hour cat visit was everything we hoped for. Two dozen friendly felines up for petting, play, and/or adoption, staff who clearly love what they do, and plenty of opportunities for cute photos. I was pleasantly surprised by how the staff used an Instax camera to take a picture of our group as a free souvenir. Note current menu I've posted here! It is not available anywhere online. Also FYI, the discount code that you can get from their website is only for 10% off one person's admission -- not your whole group reservation. And drink/food orders come at least 15 minutes into your time slot.

Selina D.

Yelp
Warmest welcome at Georgetown Crumbs and Whiskers! Staff were so kind and knowledgeable. Cats were playful. Our group was treated so well and hopefully one of us is going g to adopt! Good food and drink choices supplied by nearby retailers. We loved the cookies from Levain! Would highly recommend this experience to others.

Yelp
This was absolutely the cutest place I have ever been to! Came here with a friend who is an absolute cat lover. She made reservations before hand and when we arrived, had to make sure we signed the waiver and understood all of the rules to enter the cafe. The location is a great size for the cats and gives them infinite possibilities of places to jump, climb and sleep. We were told there was about 30 cats in total at the location and you could tell the gender of the cat by the blue or pink collar. The cats were so gentle and chill and some of them were so happy to be played with. I can definitely see this being a place that is a great socialization environment for them before they are adopted. We had such a great time. You are timed an hour there so definitely make sure you get all of your time and play with all of the cars and kittens! Eventually, we will be adopting one from here and we are super excited.

Yelp
I came here with my husband and our teenage daughter, who has been bugging us for a cat for years. The staff was kind and super friendly throughout our trip. They're knowledgeable about all the cats and kittens and happy to tell you the history of the cats you're playing with. The cats are well mannered and super adorable. The bakery items come from the local bakery down the block and everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

Yelp
Love this beautiful cat cafe!!! If I only could adopt a cat now from there... Love all the beautiful adorable and affectionate kitties here. Ambience: Some pretty in pink & white. From the looks and sounds of things you know that the kitties are well taken cared of here. Service: Excellently structured visit with clear instructions from a very friendly staff members Drinks: Limited selection but inexpensive and made not on site
google avatar

Yelp
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our 30 minutes of interacting with very friendly and playful kitties here. The time was too short to meet all the cats (they had 27 at the time we went), but we enjoyed bonding with the few cats we played with. Everyone had unique personalities and many were up for adoption. The cafe also has a partnership with Levain bakery and you can order their cookies and get them in 10 minutes. Weekend prices are a bit pricier, and we spent $28 for a 30 minute visit. The nice thing is visitors get to take home a Polaroid as a souvenir (plus the memories of the adorable cats!).

Yelp
What a purr-fect way to inspire cat adoption. This Georgetown facility is all about cats. If you are a cat lover or want a creative activity, make a reservation to see what all the meowing is about. The Union Station/Georgetown Circulator makes a few stops near the store. There is also limited street parking and nearby garages. Weekday 30 minute visits are $25. Weekend 30 minute visits are $28 per person. Reservations are encouraged since there is a space limit. If you sign up for the newsletter, you'll get 10% off your ticket. Beverages and packaged snacks are available. Consider what you wear since you could get cat fur on your clothes. The cats roam around while you visit. They are friendly and cute. Before you get attached, find out if a cat is available for adoption or a permanent resident. This concept is a cute first date idea or a great way to find a cat a furr-ever home. The place is on a bottom level with stairs. Guests are buzzed in the front door to prevent cats from accidentally getting out. I would limit personal items. Cats are curious.

Yelp
I went here with my 2 school age children (we were actually on vacation in DC and our planning to hopefully adopt back home) and it was a highlight of our trip. The staff was SO lovely and worked extra hard to safely foster a good experience for the cats and the customers (including my kids) alike. What a lovely business!! The Levain cookies are an obvious win as well!
google avatar

Nan S.

Yelp
We were very lucky to get a slot to meet some cute kitties! :) The space is chill for both people and cats. When we went most of the kitties were busy hanging out with others or taking a cat nap. Thankfully we got some attention too! I almost wanna say there should have been fewer people so I could have hung out with more cats, but maybe that's just me x) I cant remember much about the food/drink, but I think it was very limited.
google avatar

Ambika M.

Yelp
The sweetest way to spend time alone or with friends. I've already gone back twice! Very clean and everyone is friendly. Entry pricing is reasonable and well worth it although I believe the adoption fees are quite high.
google avatar

Maria L.

Yelp
It was so much fun to hang out and play with the kitties in this cozy space! You get to give a little love and get some love back. While you're there, you can order some snacks or drinks. They are linked up with Levain. The staff will take your orders and will give you a heads up about rules and about the cats. Hope you fall in love and end up adopting one of these cuties!!
google avatar

Julia G.

Yelp
Love this concept -- and was pleasantly surprised to learn that of the 20+ cats they have on site right now, that half are under adoption!! I was a bit worried that the cats would be overstimulated with so many people coming in and out -- the staff were helpful in calling out a few cats that didn't like to be picked up, etc My friend and I bought a 30 minute pass and while I could have spent more time there, I didn't feel rushed and enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly, able to answer questions about each cat and their personality and attentive to the cats - it's clear they have a good relationships with the cats who would often jump on their shoulders. They sell food (tea, coffee and cookies in partnership) with Levain Bakery next door. The space itself it nice -- we have an energetic 1 year old cat at home so I got some inspiration for how we can incorporate shelves and other elevated spaces in our home for her.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
Came here for a cute date night and ended up leaving with a cat (not even joking). All of the cats here are adoptable because they partner with a local adoption organization, and we paid $40 each for 1 hour and 10 minutes to hang out with 20 different cats while eating Levain cookies. We fell in love with one of them, and we appreciated how friendly and knowledgeable the staff were about every single cat! While it's a slightly more expensive date activity, I can't complain too much because we ended up adopting our wonderful cat here. This is a great date idea for anyone who loves cats and an even better idea for anyone interested in adopting one but wants to meet them first!

Yelp
My original appointment was for 30 minutes which i increased to an hour because I wasn't ready to leave. Crumbs and Whiskers is awesome. From the staff, to the decor, the ambience, and ofc the kitties, it was perfect. I came on a week day, midday and pretty much had the whole place to myself. I will definitely be back next time I need a pick me up.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome!!!!! Cars are so cute and playful however a couple did bite me. The workers are cool. Sad to leave my favorite cat Burger. (Pictured).
google avatar

Aalia A.

Yelp
I didn't have an appointment but the staff member at the front was more then happy to chat with me about the details of this place and to set up an appointment to come back. I was able to see the cats through the window which was great and even learn names and facts about ones I asked about. A little hard to spot the place, it's under James Allen.

Yelp
Love this place Ppl and kitties are awesome They need to be more on top of the litter boxes The air is stifling

Yelp
Online reservation and waiver processes were cake. I booked at 11-something in the morning and had no problem getting a spot for a couple hours later. I was happy that the 70-minute slot was not just twice the price of a 30-minute appointment. If you want to chill and cuddle, weekdays are probably the best according to the wonderful staff. I met Keith, Syd, and Alexis (hope I spelled your names right!) and they were all really friendly. There were lots of cats and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Complaining about the kitties wouldn't be fair to anyone, so I hope others don't do that. I love how they take in special needs kitties - from around the world, too! Music was chill and relaxing, too. I'm partial to floofy cats, but there are currently none there. It was just the luck of the draw because Syd told me they usually have a few. Didn't matter to me either way; I love them all. I ordered a cinammon brioche and San Pelligrino, which I believe Alexis went to grab from the bakery around the corner. The brioche was stupendous. One additional thing - they have 10 litter boxes in the back behind only a large set of curtains, which Syd told me they empty at least three times daily. I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell and I can pick up the ammonia scent of a cat box that hasn't been changed from the second I walk into someone's house. Not a single whiff of during my entire time and there were kitties using the boxes the whole period. During my visit, the only other customers was a pair of young ladies. Again, this was about 1pm on a Monday, though. I was told that they ate always totally booked from open to close on Saturdays and Sundays, with a max capacity of 14 hoomins. So...your mileage may vary. Just don't be disappointed if you don't happen to read the reciews or look at Google's estimate of their busy times. Be prepared. Overall, great experience, though a little pricey. Cat therapy is better than human therapy sometimes....and definitely cheaper. Unfortunately, Crumbs & Whiskers is not wheelchair accessible as it is down a tight flight of stairs in the basement of a historic building. Parking sucks because you're right in the middle of Georgetown. This really isn't their fault since they're located in a big city, however if you insist on driving, you'll find yourself searching for street parking (likely in the surrounding neighborhood to the north?) Ecstatic that I found this place. Cheers!

Yelp
This is a delightful place. I love coming here for a girls' day or a rainy day. They are less crowded on weekdays, so if you have the time, I recommend the visiting then. On a Monday afternoon we had the place to ourselves. On a Sunday night it was packed. However, they keep the groups small so everyone has ample cat love time. I recommend coming 15 minutes early to get settled and order coffee/cookies from Levain, which they get for you. All of the staff is really nice and obviously loves the cats. Almost all of the cats are available to be adopted, but competition is fierce. Also, they offer two options-40 minutes or 1 hour and 10 minutes. We've done both. The longer time is much better since you barely get settled before it's over for the 30 minute session.
google avatar

Yelp
Terrible service. We called five times to schedule an appointment, and emailed just as many. When they actually picked up the phone, we were told the "manager would be in later and return our call." Radio silence. Unacceptable. One wonders if that's how they treat customers at the "sales" phase, then how much confidence should you have after they take your money.
google avatar

Elli A.

Yelp
I have been 4 times over the last year, and every time is the highlight of my month! The staff is lovely and the cat are of course the star of the show! I highly recommend attending a cat yoga night, as they are especially calming.
google avatar

Bernardo S.

Yelp
Fun for cat lovers. Clean and very friendly staff. 30-minute or 1hr of cat fun session where they will play around you and with permission you can hold them. Yes if there available they can also be adopted. You can also order snack from levian cookies next door and eat around they cats. I would recommend this place but be warned if you have separation issues. You've been warned lol.

Yelp
I went to Crumbs & Whiskers for the first time late last year with my partner. The experience was so lovely that I knew right away that I would have to bring him back as part of my next birthday gift to him, because he's the only person I know who might love cats more than I do. So that's what we did this past Saturday, with several friends and family in tow, and we had a really lovely time. We were greeted by friendly staff and allowed to sign our waivers on the spot (I'd lost track of the online waivers when I made the reservation). Two friends ordered beverages from the menu offered before we entered the cafe, a mint tea and a latte, which they both enjoyed. It was cat naptime when we entered, because literally every cat in the cafe was snoozing or on the way to snoozing. Indeed, when I sat down on the side bench to wait for the introductory speech that all visitors get before being allowed to interact with the cats, one beautiful, black-nosed cat walked right up to me, hopped into my lap, and settled there for the entire half hour that I was there. This was literally the closest experience I've ever had to love at first sight, and if not for my own two shy kittens at home, I would have adopted her on the spot. While I wasn't allowed to move, I got to watch my partner and friends coo over and cuddle the many other sleepy cats, as I stroked the cat who had decided to make her mine for the time that I was there. The cafe is beautiful, bright and clean, and the staff are ever present to answer questions and to share their own cat experiences. Between all the soft pillows, cat trees and toys, and the visitors eager to play with and cuddle the cats, this really feels like a paradise for cats and cat-lovers alike. A wonderful experience if you love cats and are in the Georgetown area, whether alone, or if you want to bring your cat-loving friends too!
google avatar

Kelli T.

Yelp
The cat cafe is sort of hidden. If you're facing Jim Allen on M street, there's a stairwell right below and that's the entrance. My friends and I went at 11 AM and all the cats were awake! There were 30 cats with 25 that were adoptable. I loved going here and meeting all the cats. The rules that the staff give is easy to remember: shoes off, ask before picking up, and have fun! I'll be back again!!
google avatar

Nancy P.

Yelp
As a cat lover there is no better place to meet some adorable cats, play with them, get to know them, and bond with friends than this cafe. I wouldn't really call it a cafe on my end because I had so much fun with the cats I forgot about the drinks that came along. The staff members were really friendly and were joyous around us and the cats. You can tell that they loved the cats truly and wanted them to have a good home. If you are looking for a place to go meet some wonderful cats and you could also adopt them! Make sure to visit their website to grab a ticket before coming because they most likely won't take walk-ins because it gets filled up fast! Go here and enjoy your time!
google avatar

Karlie P.

Yelp
I visited just for a fun thing to try out, no intentions of adopting. The environment was very cute and the cats were very cute too! We got an option of ordering cookies and refreshments. I ordered a cookie which was delicious though it came really late, about half way through our time. All the staff was knowledgeable of the animals and their behaviors. It was a bit smelly, some airflow would have helped. Also expect that you are not the only group there and you may have to wait to cuddle a certain cat or sit in a certain spot. Overall a super cute experience!!

Kailee P.

Yelp
Ahh me and my partner went yesterday and had the best time ever hanging with the kittens and cats! Definitely recommend
google avatar

Meridena K.

Yelp
How can you not love it. Creative way to get cats into loving homes. And great way to enjoy some time with cats in need without adopting them too. Buy a timed ticket, check in at the door, sign the waiver. Money well spent. Liked that they limit the number of people at a time. I loved the Polaroid pic that you get at the end, great idea! I'd recommend improving the "cafe" part though, it was more of an afterthought, do you want to order from the cafe but no menu posted etc. I'd recommend posting it & maybe offering QR/mobile ordering while you wait for the doors to open, so it's ready to go. Not a huge deal because I was not there for the coffee, but prob would have enjoyed it.
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
The idea that you could find a better cat rescue playplace than this is beyond comprehension to me. This place is perfection. Big ups though specifically to the staff Lee and Casey who made the visit even better, if that was possible. One note - no food here as far as I could tell. The "Crumbs" part seems not to be happening. Not a big deal though!
google avatar

Kathleen D.

Yelp
This was my first cat cafe experience. While I was impressed, I do feel like there are ways in which they can improve. For one, there were way too many people per time slot. My boyfriend and I visited last Thursday just before noon, and the cafe was super full. On their website when I booked in advance, it says to arrive early to order drinks, but when we arrived, we were told to sit along the wall while the prior group wrapped up. Once it was our turn for 30 minutes with the cats, we were given a 5-minute introduction by a very sweet staff member. It was definitely some interesting context and cool to hear about the company's international mission, but it would've been better if the timer started after that. The time sped by after that. Most of the "fun" toys were in use, and the cats weren't engaging all that much with the toys we could grab. Toward the end, the girl next to me offered to swap (thank you!) so we could get some playtime. Also, I'm not a fan of the drinks. I had a cold brew can that was just flat, and my guy was given an iced coffee instead of hot. I'd say get coffees elsewhere as there are lots of good spots in close proximity! While there, we had the most interaction with Pepper, a young mom kitten who was already adopted and very sweet, and Blackginger, who had alllll the energy. Beowulf was also adorably spicy. At $25 per 30 mins, the cost was on the higher side, but I would hope that most of it will be reinvested into caring for the kitties. I will say my cats were extra cuddly when I arrived home, so that was a nice added benefit. Would I return? Probably not. Is it good for a one-time experience? Yes.
google avatar

Taylor S.

Yelp
Amazing spot!! The staff were all super friendly and informative. Loved how many kitties they had and how friendly they all were! Would def go back again!

Ruhiyyih D.

Yelp
My son had a fabulous time. We went for his 7th birthday as he loves cats. He didn't want to leave.
google avatar

Radi A.

Yelp
Caring and knowledgeable staff and super cute cats! I wish I could take them all home. Hope they all find a loving family and home.

Erica B.

Yelp
My kids had a great time, it's clear the staff members love the cats and take great care of them.

A W.

Yelp
Fun experience, cute kittens! One funny kitty was asleep in a bowl and another one was napping behind a pillow so beware before you lean back on a pillow.

Rachel M.

Yelp
Not only are the cats precious and very friendly at the Crumbs & Whiskers cafe, the staff are warm and engaging. I have gone twice with an adult friend and with a child and both experiences were wonderful. The coffee and bakery where the food items are from is also excellent! I look forward to going again with my niece.

Sarah M.

Yelp
I love C&M, and they just keep getting better and better! If you just love cats, it's a delightful place to hang out for an hour with some true sweethearts. If you're looking to adopt, they're so kind and willing to answer all your questions about adoption applications and about the personalities of the cats themselves. I've been multiple times with multiple goals, and I'll go again

Fabrizio P.

Yelp
Amazing place to go with the kids...my children love it!!! We go there on the wekend and they enjoy to hang out with the kittens in a very friendly and relaxed environment. The staff is great and so are the felines!

Beth S.

Yelp
A slice of heaven. For anyone who loves cats or even just likes them, it's a perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Wayne T.

Yelp
A great place to spend 70 minutes to meet and play with gorgeous friendly cats. The courtesy poloroid picture of our group of three and our new furry friends was a great momento. The drink selection was good and easy to enjoy around the cats. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to chill out with a cat(s).
google avatar

Saha S.

Yelp
As a lover of cats, I loved this place. You can pay $25 to spend 30 minutes with a bunch of kitties, and it's money well spent. I'm a little bit allergic and not a fan of cleaning up after a cat and cat hair everywhere, so I am unable to have a cat of my own. So coming here once every few months definitely scratches my cat itch. There are a bunch of different cats with different personalities. Some are newer, but most will let you let them, and a select few will let you pick them up. The staff is friendly, and there are a bunch of areas to sit. It can get a bit crowded at times, but understandingly given how adorable the cats are. I didn't really try any of the food, since the options in Georgetown are endless and I went out to get food afterwards. Highly recommend and definitely plan on coming back.
google avatar

Jazmyne M.

Yelp
10/10 best experience ever. Loved hearing the staff share info about each and every cat. It's is very apparent they are passionate about finding these baby kitties a furever home! Also very impressed with the cleanliness of this place! Could barely ever tell there were cats around. Love this place!
google avatar

Sherise K.

Yelp
I love this place! The cats seem so well taken care of and it's so clean. Note: the cafe isn't open - we were FREEZING (it was one of those frigid days) and we wanted something warm to drink.

Kathryn M.

Yelp
Very cute! Cats and staff were nice. I liked getting a Polaroid at the end of our time.

Rachel T.

Yelp
This was an amazing experience. I wish they had more locations! The workers are very kind and I really enjoyed how they would tell our group different facts about the cats. The cats are all soooo adorable. If you're thinking about adopting a cat and live nearby, this is a great way to meet lots of cats all at once. They limit the amount of people in per time slot so that it doesn't become too overwhelming for the cats. So, it's good to book ahead! I went in the afternoon and most of the cats were chilling/napping, but the cats were purr-fectly fine with receiving lots of petting. If you want to play more with the cats, booking in a morning time slot would be better.
