For two people, we bought 4 tacos, 2 fountain drinks and an elote that were ~$40USD (w/o tip) in total. The elote didn't include any chips, compared to other places :(. The tacos were OK, we tried the chicken chipotle, cornflakes shrimp tacos (I think these were the best), blackened shrimp, baja fish tacos. Overall the sauces don't have a lot of flavor, but everything was cooked well and the tortillas were good (they only offer wheat tortillas here). The cool part of this place is that you have a great variety to try from. The service was nice, if you dine-in they bring your tacos to your place.

Google
First of all, I am a Southern California native, so I grew up with tacos and taco places. Im not Hispanic, but I grew up surrounded by the food. If you are looking for delicious, affordable, and authentic tacos, this place was a disgrace. I bought 6 tacos, 5 fish and 1 steak. The amount of food in each taco was disappointing. Each fish taco had one small fishstick, was mostly filled up by "fries?" and dry lettuce, and had ZERO sauce. What the heck? The beef taco had no size in it, and the meat was DRY. Even if the food was subpar, it still would've been 3 stars. But 1 star for food comes from the PRICE. 40 dollars. For 6 of the emptiest/medium sized tacos Ive ever bitten into. Each fish taco was 6.29. From places in the expensive state of CALIFORNIA for 8 ish dollars I can buy 2-3 fish tacos filled to the brim. To their credit, this place was clean, and the man at the front was friendly. But that aint saving the food.

You know the food is good when you get it, get some to go home and come back next week for more. These tacos were so flavorful and full with whatever they come with. The marga are good too. The staff is very friendly and even helped with suggestions because it was my first time, but definitely won't be the last.

This is my third time at this location and all I can say is wow! From their HUGE portions, fresh quality and great prices, I highly recommend giving Crush Taco in Frisco a try! I had the privilege of meeting the owner Alex and it’s clear to me why the business is the way it is

This is my 3rd visit. I must say they are generous. Prices are great! And most of all their food is EXCELLENT!! Blackened Shrimp Popboy is a must!

The bbq pulled pork taco was so delicious as we as the cheese fried and grilled blackened shrimp. The staff were friendly and very helpful!! Definitely will come back!

UPDATE May 2025: We have eaten here a number of times since 2022. Way over due for tacos and so we came back here. Tried new items with rice and another coleslaw. Both very good. Changed out beverage station and replaced flavored fruit drink with iced tea. Much better for me. Usual assortment of cola drinks. UPDATE June 2022: Still great food as we have our favorite taco along with the sweet corn. Yummy. And we have been often enough with their loyalty club to get a $10 gift card. Today's Sat lunch was only spoiled by a full house of kids and parents taking a break from the game for lunch. They were so loud that next time if we see a full house we will go somewhere else. The restaurant's concrete walls/floor and metal ceiling make it very loud. UPDATE Nov 2021: Be a loyalty club member to get buy one get one free taco offer. That brought us back again. Special this month scallop taco. See photos. They have unsweetened tea now. Much better. UPDATE Apr 2021 Back for more with free caso with chips; see photo. Optional for customers to wear masks now. UPDATE Feb 2021. Back for more. We were lucky during Sat lunch as two youth sports teams and parents/coaches showed up for great tacos after us. Back for return visit (Jul 2020) and enjoyed their tacos again. Setup for virus precautions; table separate, wearing masks, etc. We like the shrimp taco best and found a new favorite with the brisket one. Try both next time. OooRah! 1st meal here base on local newspaper recommendation (2019). We got there at peak of weekday lunch hour and lots of customers chowing down. See photos. Great menu and served up fast and hot. Next time we might get one order and split it as there was too much food, which is a good thing. Seating inside limited for time being.

Google
Food was ok. Good customer service & dope vibe!! ***** Update 10 months later: Thanks for my generous bday coupon, which prompted me to come back! 🫶🏾 Customer service is still phenomenal! This time, I ordered the Chicken & Waffle Taco, the Rice Bowl, and a side of tortilla chips! The C+W Taco got a 3 out of 5. The Rice Bowl and side of warm tortilla chips got a 5 out of 5!!!!! So good and fresh! I do wish the guac was a little more seasoned, and next time, I'll get no pickled onions. Other than that, I'd def get the rice bowl again!!

Yelp
Yelp 100 Challenge - #34 Tacos range from $5 - $7 dollars. Ordered Chipotle Chicken Taco Buffalo Chicken Taco Half Green Chili Queso with no hot sauce The service was fast and the food was fresh, made to order. Minus one star because they changed their chips. They use to be the thick homemade chips now they seem store bought with season added. They are a little flimsy for my liking. A great location for quality tacos and great customer service.

Yelp
A place to get your elote and taco fixings at the same time, Crush Taco serving fresh and fast tacos in Texas. Not only do they deliver an amazing menu, but their service as well. We were going to order chips and salsa for our free side reward, but the worker suggested we get something worth our buck, therefore we had the chips and green chile queso. And that also did not disappoint! If you're looking for a place to try something new with unique flavors and ingredients, Crush Taco is your place to go.

Yelp
I've never dined in here, but I do order when I get there and take it to go and it's never a terribly long wait. The restaurant is always clean, organized, and well-stocked. I have ordered several different tacos on the menu and they are consistently delicious and I really enjoy the variety. I don't have a photo of the chorizo fries, but they're a must-try for french fry lovers. I must also add, I've been there more than once a little close to closing time and they never act like I'm an inconvenience. I try not to make things like that a habit but that's just the way my job goes sometimes. So thank you for always being kind when you're likely all cleaned up and ready to go home and relax.

Yelp
I was hungry and it was almost 930p, so I Ubereats my order. A chopped smokehouse brisket taco & street corn elotes. It got here pretty quick & was still real hot. The taco was moist & delicious. The elotes were not what I call street elotes but they were edible, no flavor or pica. Would definitely try other tacos or other items probably not the elotes though. Try them out & you decide.

Yelp
Great food. The service is amazing! Music was a little loud in the men's room. Clean restaurant. Five stars!

Yelp
Crush taco is so good! The cornflake crusted shrimp tacos, tempura fish tacos, and finish with a dulce de leche filled churro!

Yelp
Super yum taco bowl, I had the shredded beef topping. I love the fresh guacamole and the toasted pepitas are great addition to the salad. The business is very friendly and inside is clean.

Yelp
Friendly staff, but should have pointed out a SERVICE FEE of 3%... on a VISA....You pull this stunt, you already get one star less. Super salty food. Both tacos had fried stuff on them (fries and onion). Didn't read the fine print unfortunately, but this was not expected. If I want fries I go to a burger place. Taco dough tasted like any other taco you can get at the supermarket. Not healthy what I had at all. One taco was cold inside. Not coming back.

Yelp
What can I say about this location? I love it! As for me and my house, we shall serve tacos. Juan 3:16 The food is always great! Tacos, Queso, Churros, you name it, you'll love it. The margaritas are always on point! Sorry I can't drink an entire jug, but I try. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. The location is always clean and organized. I can honestly say, I have never had a bad experience here.

Yelp
Everything I have had there is good not great. That's why the average score. Definitely not a bad choice just wouldn't go out of my way to stop there

Yelp
Bought queso/chips and guac/chips. Carry ouDo this every couple of weeks. Tonight, my guac had brown edges and along sides of cup. Eww! $8.50 for about a cup of brown guac and $6.50 for the cup of queso (used to be 3/4 full but now barely half... with a service fee of $ .43 and 15% tip + tax, the 2 dips and chips totaled $18.43! Who the heck charges a service fee at a restaurant? Tried to leave a comment for management - no link on their website nor on the receipt. So now the review goes on Yelp. Bottom line, due to brown guac, smaller serving and the ridiculous service fee, I won't be back.

Yelp
Best deal in town! Go for breakfast! Two huge tacos, flavorful and feeling for $7.00! $3.50 each! Can't beat it! Super yummy and friendly staff. I don't eat breakfast often but when I do this will be my top spot!

Mark G.

Yelp
Walking in and being greeted by the family/owner was great. Helped with ideas and thoughts on which tacos would be best for me. Great food and great margaritas. I had the Chicken Elote and also the fish tacos. Both were stellar but the sauce on the grilled fish tacos was amazing. Enjoy!

Yelp
This is giving very much a tour of goodness! If you love loaded tacos this place is the perfect spot for those hunger pains. No skimping here! Love the countless options! Lovely Staff!

Yelp
Overall this place was good. Our favorite tacos we tried were the Fries Chicken Dilly taco which was unique and had fried pickles on it and the Queso Chicken and Rice taco because the Queso was fire. We had the Carmelized Cauliflower taco which was unique and good. We had the fried fish taco but unfortunately they either forgot the dynamite sauce or this taco is extremely dry. The California burrito was good and comes on a bed of Flamin hot Cheetos which was a fun touch. The service was kind but slow. Overall the ambiance looks like a modern chain.

Yelp
first time eating at Crush Taco- absolutely delicious! I'll definitely eat here again.
google avatar

Yelp
This place was very cool. The menu is interesting. You have a variety of tacos which are all very unique in their own way. It's like a whole meal but in a taco. I ordered the Blackened shrimp po' boy taco & the spicy rooster taco. Tacos are loaded with flavor and looked like they came straight out of a magazine. The place looked really nice & the staff was very friendly.

Yelp
This place is small and quaint but the food is awesome Make sure you check it out and get a crush margarita also the chorizo fries are the Bomb

Yelp
There are decent breakfast taco selections here if you are nearby and on the go. Get the bacon and egg taco which also comes with the white shredded cheese on top. I'm somewhat of a cheese snob and mostly prefer the blanco over the yellow. So that was a check plus. For the amount of food I got I did notice it was a bit pricey. The queso which I was expecting to be a hit was watery and didn't have much taste. I'd steer clear of that and just explore the taco menu here. Aside from that seating inside was pleasant and quiet. You could totally bring your laptop here and get some work done if you so desire. But it was mostly a casual, ok no frills spot. I did not enjoy the food enough to actually return or bring anyone. Great parking though and an easy in and out.

Yelp
I crave these tacos. You would think tacos can't get any better but there's something about these tacos. It's like they out crack on it. They don't but it's like crack tacos. That's how good these are. They are so filling too. I order usually two and it'll Fill me up but if I'm super hungry, I'll order two tacos and the elotes but honestly one taco fills me up. You have got try this place. Till then, let's taco-bout it!!!
google avatar

Bruce C.

Yelp
Honestly, without any exaggeration, the worst tacos I have ever had. Any fast food fake Mexican restaurant would be better. I was extremely disappointed and threw my food in the trash without finishing.

Yelp
Girl!! Pay attention! This spot was so good, I have been ordering for 5 days straight their corn in a cup was amazing!! Almost tasted like the ones from back home in McAllen! Very impressive for a north Texas taco place. Next let's talk about the carnitas bowl. This was 8/10 only because I like my food spicy and they didn't have a super high spicy level but other than that! This was fire! I also liked the girl (Allison) who was very warm and welcoming. We had a small conversation while my food was made which was awesome because we don't get much interaction with other humans these days. She was in great spirits despite the late night thunderstorms that day. The establishment was clean, tidy, very nice. I even got a cookie buy it was so delicious I couldn't not eat it definitely will be back tomorrow

Yelp
This is my husband's favorite and when we are in Frisco we go here. Food was still phenomenal. I guess times are changing. Although the cashier was nice she lacked customer service. We walk in, no customers, no greeting from her. After we order I cannot find a table because they are all dirty! The floors were gross too. This is why I cannot give 5 stars. It is a shame.

Yelp
Great new spot in the Frisco area. Of course, it's not your authentic taco place, but it's still delicious and there is a small variety of tacos to choose from. It's right across from the Walmart and shares a parking lot with a few other shops, so it's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. We had a few of the fried chicken elote style, the spicy rooster, and the Baja fish. We also tried the green chili queso which had the perfect amount of kick to it. Everything was very good we talked about how we should've bought more lol. We couldn't pass on the margaritas and ordered a small prickly pear and a large sangria swirl. First off, go for the large. It's the perfect size! Secondly, get the sangria swirl. I thought it was light on alcohol until it all but at once lol. Good chain taco place with good food and good drinks. When I'm in the Frisco area, I'll be stopping by!

Yelp
Delicious tacos! We got takeout and I had the Baja dish and shrimp taco. SO GOOD. I saw all the hype in the review about these two taco and I have to say... it is quite delicious for sure. I would definitely be coming back for more tacos!! Highly recommend everyone to come try this place. My friend has the Baja dish and fries chicken and liked it too. Although the price is kind of $$ for tacos, they give you a lot of meat/toppings in one single taco I was already feeling full from eating one. The one complaint is the lady behind me in line was not wearing a mask and the staff still served her. It seems like they might not be too strict on covid-code, but I also understand it's a tough situation to have to "turn down" someone... but yeah that made me uncomfortable to dine-in but we did takeout anyways.

Yelp
By happenstance of a burst tire the better half and I ended up two aisles and a few parking stalls down from this place while waiting on triple A because T-Mobile would load a youtube video titled "how to change your car tire for men of the modern age [insert car make and model here]." Thank you T-Mobile. Had you actually worked, we never would have thought to try this place. The food order was cornflake shrimp tacos, fish taco, elotes, California burrito. Best item was the cornflake shrimp taco. Least best item was the fish taco. I thought the fish was bland and could use some flavor. The sauce and accoutrements we pretty good though. Elote and Cali Burrito were also yummy. Prices are a tad on the high side but the food was pretty good so overall and the menu unique enough. I do have concerns with the COVID protocol in the dining room. I had to wait a loooong time for my food so I sat inside. I don't mind waiting but this was a long time so I got the full experience. They were not blocking out tables, so operating at full capacity. They were not cleaning between customers or providing cleaning things to self wipe tables. This irked me but oddly enough a lot of people did not mind as the place was packed. The staff and kitchen area however was using masks and I presume they kept the back clean as well. I would say figure out your comfort levels if you decide to try this out. Even for takeout. I do want to go back and try some of the other tacos but really not sure if I trust them to take care of the back if they are so lax about the front. My family did enjoy our meal .. at home.
google avatar

Bryan R.

Yelp
Absolutely one of the best. Love the orange chicken taco! Churros are also delicious.
google avatar

Jonah L.

Yelp
I ordered the smokehouse brisket taco and it was wet(probably because of the sauce leaking out the sides) and it was soggy which made it very hard to eat because all the ingredients kept falling out. Aside the cons of eating the taco, it wasn't too bad but I don't recommend it. It also confused me because I'm pretty sure tacos are Mexican food but the rice tasted like Indian rice. Don't recommend this place but I won't judge if you want to try it because my family liked it (besides the rice).
google avatar

Ajay K.

Yelp
Played an early morning tennis match and starving - Crush Taco seemed like the closest place. Pros: 3 breakfast tacos filled me up for breakfast, lunch, maybe even dinner. They offered a mild tomatillo sauce for faux-brown people like me who can't handle spicy food Cons: layer of scrambled eggs & cheese on each taco was thick enough to make an omelet. 'Roasted' potatoes were just deep-fried - no seasoning whatsoever. No cilantro, onions, cabbage, limes - nothing! If you want to stuff yourself and think of salt as an exotic spice, this might be your place. If you want any flavor in your food, look elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
Okay this place is pretty darn delicious! This is my second time coming here and both times the tacos have been outstanding. Both visits were also during COVID-19 and everything ran smoothly. I ordered online and the food was ready when i got there. The staff was super friendly when I came to pick up my food. The first time I got the Buffalo chicken taco and the brisket taco. The brisket taco was so good I got it again the second time along with the Cornflake Shrimp taco and the Fried Chicken BLP. All were mouth watering delicious! Tacos are my favorite food so when I find a good taco joint I will stick with them. And I will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis.

Dan. B.

Yelp
Really some of the best tacos we've had in DFW. The people were nice and accommodating, and the place is clean.

B B.

Yelp
Been driving by this place for some time-decided to give it a try. My brisket taco was dry, ingredients just placed on a cold flour tortilla right out of a package-I asked for sauce since it was so dry-sauce had no flavor, wasn't hot or spicy-didn't really help improve the taste. My wife liked her fish taco a lot. The place was pretty dead the whole time we were there-pretty void of any character or personality in the place including the employee who waited on us.The frozen margarita wasn't bad for the price-they said they couldn't put salt on the rim-overall not very impressed-might give it some time & try it again...

Temeka W.

Yelp
They appear to be working out the kinks. Have been there twice and each time there was something wrong with the order, but the food and margaritas were great once corrected.
google avatar

Cody K.

Yelp
I went because the reviews seemed overall positive and I love trying new taco places. The staff was friendly and service was great, but unfortunately that is where the good review ends. The tastes were all off. I had the green chili queso, which was the best thing I had, but wasn't terribly flavorful and there was no hint of green chili. The tacos were more like salads on tortillas. I had the fried chicken elotes taco, which tasted nothing like any elotes i've had and the crema tasted a little like ranch dressing. I also had the cornflake crusted shrimp taco, which had an enormous amount of, what i can only guess was a spicy thousand island dressing; I took one bite and threw the rest away. I was really disappointed with the food and would likely not return.
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Great tacos! Fast service! Good people! Have been here several times and the tacos are always great. So glad to see this place still going strong. Love the large community tables.

Yelp
Can't believe what just happened! I was craving tacos and gave Crush a shot for the first time and the last! All I wanted was a couple of tacos and at 8:00 on a Thursday evening, I waited until I was about 5 minutes away to call in my order. To my surprise, after giving my order, I was told it would be 20 minutes or so, I almost cancelled my order. When I arrived 5 minutes later, the place was almost empty and my order was up in the window of the kitchen, glad I didn't wait, my food would have been cold. The order wasn't bagged or tagged, see the comments below for why this is relevant. When I arrived the cashier was on the phone and asked me to wait, no problem, but it now seems odd that he was no where near a computer, etc, so not sure who he was talking to that made me need to wait. I then proceeded to check out and the total was more than I expected. When I brought it up, the cashier changed the total and came up with a strange excuse for the error. Let me start by saying the prices I was charged and the prices on the website where two different things, that happens from time to time and at least the item prices I was charged were consistent with the prices on the menu board at the restaurant. Not great that the site wasn't updated but I understand and didn't even mention it. THE SCAM! When I got home and looked at the bag tag there was a third item on the tag, pic attached, which shows an unpaid phone order charge. So, the "accidental charge", was a charge they tried to add to my order for calling it in, that is correct, if you call in an order, to a an empty restaurant, they try to charge you extra. I'm not sure who would have received the extra money, and on an order larger than a couple of tacos it might not stick out, especially considering they didn't give me a receipt, but how dishonest can you get! The food was average at best. The chicken taco tasted like citrus, which isn't a bad thing, but that's all it tasted like, there was no seasoning or spice to it whatsoever. The brisket was a bunch of crumbs, good flavor but I would have loved some actual pieces of meat. I would give them another chance on the food if it were not for the attempt to overcharge me, but given the dishonesty, this will be my first and last visit. I love supporting local businesses and will always give them every benefit of the doubt, but the experience and the ticket don't lie, they tried to take advantage of me. So sad!

Yelp
The food: We ordered: chips and queso, chorizo fries, chopped smokehouse brisket taco, and a bbq pulled pork taco. The food was hot, fresh, and amazing!! We couldn't stop eating! The queso is hands down the best queso locally. The tacos have the most flavorful, tender meat. The fries had so many toppings they could've been a whole entree themselves. The atmosphere: Super laid back, open, bright, fun, welcoming. The place is very clean. The customer service: Absolutely impeccable!! They made us feel welcomed, customized our orders just right, and were genuinely super nice to be around.

Yelp
Good options, love all the tacos except the Buffalo Chicken. It's not bad, just got that good. Tried all of Their hot sauces and one a little touch because someone pulled a sneaky on me at took that inner plastic thing out. Needless to say I started sweating, but it was delicious.

Yelp
Thank you yelp for helping find this awesome spot. I wanted some kind of salad bowl. I searched through yelp to see what was close. This place was a few minutes away from me and had 4.5 overall reviews. I called and placed an order: brisket/salad bowl. Total 12 dollars. I immediately drove there. It's kind of hidden on the corner of the Best Buy off DNT. I parked right in front of the place. I walked in and it's a small yet very clean kind of hole in the wall but not really. There was some families dining in. They had those big/chalkboard with the menu. It seems they have a lot of options for tacos and such. The staff was very friendly and my order was ready to go! I paid and left. I opened the container and that's when I took the photo. I LOVE cabbage and this salad was actually shredded cabbage, cilantro, queso fresco, 1/4 of a small avocado sliced, tomatillo ranch and the brisket. WOW!! (Side note: it also comes with corn and beans but I can't have those on Keto ). I was so satisfied and happy when I finished the bowl. It was so good!! The tomatillo ranch was on point. It wasn't hot/spicy and the fact that it was avocado rather than guacamole made it feel more fresh and more real food. I hope this place continues to boom. The quality and the freshness of their food was obvious. Again my stomach was very happy after I finished the bowl (which I couldn't finish it all because it was very filling).
google avatar

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Chips were thin, flavorless and stale. Guacamole was completely flavorless - even with the pico added, it tasted like straight avocado. We had to add salt, pepper and salsa to it just to try to revive it a little. I also got the chicken and rice bowl which was a pretty hearty serving. This was encouraging to see since it cost $13. But the 1/4 cup of chicken I got was either a fatty, chewy piece or had cartilage in it making it not fun to eat. The tacos were good though from what my family says. Maybe stick to just the tacos if you want to play it safe.
google avatar

Cortney K.

Yelp
We really enjoy the prickly pear margarita; however, when getting it to go they seem to prep them first so what should be a frozen marg is completely melted. This would be a quick and easy training fix in my opinion! The tacos are good, lots of topping/fillers, not a ton of meat though - probably my husbands biggest complaint. But what you do get is good!

Becky L.

Yelp
We have always loved Crush Taco but the last two times have been disappointing. Margaritas to go are always yummy, but the time before tonight, the shrimp in the taco smelled and tasted funny. I took one bite and threw it out...did not want to get sick. I emailed them and they assured me that it was fresh. They asked for my order number, which I provided but I never heard anything back. It was a $6 taco, but it wasn't edible. We tried them again tonight. No shrimp taco ordered...not going there again. Margs are good and hubby liked his chicken taco. We ordered queso like we usually do, but it was not even full. Really?!! Please don't take advantage of people who order to go and are trusting of you to do the right thing. I'm not emailing again this time since that didn't provide anything last time except a statement saying their shrimp was fresh. Crush Taco, we all supported you during the Pandemic and you have just opened another location. You need to step up your game!

Yelp
Terrible meal just delivered from Crush Taco's Stonebrook location. Love this place but today is a disappointment. 2 tacos, queso w/chips and quacamole w/chips. 3 of the 4 items were nowhere near up to Crush Tacos standard. The fish in the Baja Fish Taco is horrible. It's like mush, no texture, think runny mash potatoes. Actually concerned I ate a bite thinking I didn't get fish but slaw and sauce. Then the queso and quacamole came with a combined total of a 1/3 of a bag of chips. I get every place will miss on an order but when you call and give them a chance to make it right and their resolution is to "call Uber Eats with your issue" then this is the kind of review you get. Unfortunately, for us, this is off of options list when we order in going forward but still will consider when choosing to dine in. Cheers
google avatar

Alyssa L.

Yelp
Crush Taco used to be consistently great but has gone downhill. Queso is runny, elote corn is from a can, margaritas machine isn't working right and the staff preparing food did not wear a mask or clean tables after guests left. Tacos also just are not as good as they used to be.

Yelp
Since my favorite taco place is not near by I think I found a new one locally! I had tacos ordered from here and they were fantastic. The white queso was very flavorful and there are avocado chunks in it. The Spicy Rooster taco was my favorite out of the ones of ordered. It was spicy! It was filled with buttermilk chicken, green chilie queso, siracha, pico de gallo, pickled jalapeños, cilantro, monterrey cheese in a flour tortilla. The Buffalo Chicken taco was good but not my favorite. It had buffalo flavored chicken, ranch crema, celery, blue cheese crumbles, and shredded carrots. I'll definitely order from here again.

Yelp
We tried the fried fish and blackened taco, the chicken elote and shrimp. All of the tacos were very fresh and good. The margaritas were ok. I would go with one of the flavored over traditional.

Yelp
We were at Warren Sports Complex and wanted to grab a bite to eat while waiting for our daughters next game to start. I like to google and came across Crush Taco. The reviews were great so we decided to give it a try. My husband is usually skeptical of reviews but I've found that Yelp usually doesn't fail me. The flavor in the shrimp taco was perfect and I could have eaten the entire bowl of queso which came with warm seasoned chips. It was all so yummy. We went back after the game with two other families.
