Miami’s 14 Best Food Takeout and Delivery Options

"This Italian staple offers an array of no-frill dishes that please even the pickiest of diners. The large menu with equally large portions offers the perfect option for an at-home meal. Start with beef carpaccio or grilled octopus, then move on to a surf and turf pizza topped with shrimp, prosciutto, pepperoni, and parmesan. Main course options include shrimp parmesan, chicken marsala accompanied by mushroom risotto, and roasted half duck with blueberry risotto. The limoncello cake makes for a refreshing sweet ending." - Eater Staff

Crust Review - Downtown - Miami - The Infatuation

"Crust is an Italian restaurant in Downtown Miami right along the Miami River. Sadly, there’s no waterfront view here - even if you decide to sit outside - and while the menu includes some very recognizable Italian things, it’s a bit difficult to navigate. The eggplant parm under the “small plates” section is actually the size of an air mattress and will fill you up before the pizza arrives, which might actually be a good thing because the pizza here is bad and slightly soggy. You can skip this spot with confidence, even if you’re craving the world’s biggest eggplant parm appetizer." - Ryan Pfeffer

Lunch at Crust was awesome!!! The customer service, food and ambiance was great! We indulged and enjoyed the meatballs, shrimp cakes, veal Parmesan, and lobster ravioli. The food was so delicious. We also tried the passion fruit and strawberry mojito. There were so many other things we wanted to try so we’ll definitely go back and have another feast! I definitely recommend this restaurant to all! The portion sizes are huge so I definitely had some good leftovers the following day… Enjoy!!!

The place was fantastic. The portion sizes were huge for the chicken Parm. Easily could feed 2-3 people. The drinks were great. I had an espresso martini with the tiramisu and loved it. The truffle fries were crispy and fresh. The price for the quality of the food was well worth it. Definitely a top restaurant in Miami.

Google
Definitely one of our favorite places in Miami! Such a cute place for a date night or family dinner. The proportions are MASSIVE. You will definitely have left overs. Never had a dish here I haven’t loved. And the desserts are incredible. The owners are also so precious.

Our experience at Crust was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Seafood Linguine and the Chicken Parmesan, and both were phenomenal. We highly recommend. Our waiter was very attentive, sweet, and gave great service. A nice gentleman named khris, possibly the manager, stopped by our table to ensure we had a wonderful experience and assisted in a good wine selection. Overall, we will definitely stop by again when in the city of Miami.

Wow! I so impressed about this place. Cristian our server was spectacular 👌 ✨️. He recommended us a delicious food 😋 😀. Our first time here and definitely will came back soon...

Google
Great vibes, but I have to say that the service makes this place great. Their manager (Chris) is the nicest manager in the hospitality industry. He touches every table and makes everyone feel special. We had a bit of an issue with the hostess being super rude and he made it all go away with his smile and demeanor. The food was tasty, albeit the gnocchi could’ve had less cheese on it. Other than that, sit on the patio and enjoy this place!

Google
What a fantastic, reasonably priced gem near downtown Miami! We took summer associates here and, wow, I was surprised! Food was delicious; servers were kind; and the ambiance is intimate and cute. The food portions though… over the top! For the price, it can’t be beat! The chicken parm can feed a family of 4. I liked the eggplant parm appetizer better, though. The salads were also fresh and shareable. Love this spot and will be back w the kiddos!

Google
Crust is phenomenal, in short. I visited Miami for the weekend and had to make it count, and I am happy to say that Crust met the goal. I went in the last hour, which I don’t usually like to do but a late flight had other plans. Nonetheless, Chris, at the bar and who I later learned is the manager, was more than happy to welcome and seat me. It was slow since it was a Thursday night, and I was seated immediately in the midst of three pairs of diners. They all seemed content, and a few shared their recommendations for dessert and the chicken parm. I thought to try a pizza to honor the namesake but wavered. Alex, my server, took my drink order and a minestrone I was eager to try out while I decided on the main course. It was flavorful and well-seasoned with all the veggies well cooked, and the pasta a great texture. I still hadn’t received my Baby Blue drink, which was decided after a look at the Watermelon Sugar and the Limoncello di Crema, but once it came out, I understood - it was a frozen drink that had to be blended. At this point, I was already satisfied with my visit: the diners around me were in good spirits, enabled by the great service and tempered ambiance of the restaurant; the service was attentive; and the excitement for the chicken parm and dessert was strong. I confirmed for myself that my fellow diners were indeed correct: the chicken parm had enough for two people or two meals. That the sauce didn’t fully stick to the spaghetti deceived me, as when I bit into it and the chicken parmesan, the taste and quality I would best describe as textbook. Not in the basic or unexceptional way, but in a way that it checked off all the boxes and should set the standard for that dish. The sauce presented a bold but balanced flavor; the chicken breading crisp; and the mozzarella and parmesan equal in donating their flavors. I can’t fault it! I left room for dessert and ordered before the restaurant closed, settling on the Limoncello cake. Alex brought it out as I finished up my meal, and the staff began to close up shop without sparing customer service in doing so. In an appreciated touch of service other places would have overlooked, Melissa, another server, offered to keep the cake in the fridge while I finished with my entree, and I gladly took her up on that offer. She packed up the leftovers for me as I began to enjoy the cake. It delivered on the details promised on the menu, and it was a light yet flavorful ending to the meal. Crust is THE place for Italian food in Miami, there’s no question. I don’t anticipate returning to the city in quite some time, so I will miss out on the cuisine but will confidently recommend it to family and friends in the meantime!

Yelp
I have a love-hate relationship with crust. Let's start with the obvious--the food. I am a huge pizza snob but I LOVED the pizza. For me, it's all about the sauce and I really enjoyed there's. The mushroom was my favorite it was mouthwatering. They are famous for their chicken parm. It is a huge thick slice over a bed of spaghetti, enough for two to share. But the chicken is lacking flavor. The service was extremely slow. They also lost points in my book because I asked for bread and they brought $10 rolls. Where is the bread basket?! Definitely would come back for the pizza !

Yelp
Delicious, amazing service, and great vibes. That's how I would sum up Crust. In the not so short version I would have to mention that all the food was so good, I dreamt about it that same night. The cacio e Pepe was so tasty and perfectly seasoned. The pear ravioli I tried was also surprisingly amazing. I will be ordering that next time. Do not miss out on the garlic rolls! The pizza was pretty good but nothing out of this world. I would go here for pasta, salad, and the desserts. I also really loved the service. Everyone was attentive and friendly. This is a great place to go with friends, family, or on a date. Quiet enough to talk but still good music in the background. I went with my family for a birthday dinner and it was about 8 of us and we got our food pretty quick. I highly recommend trying Crust!

Yelp
Ive always enjoyed their pizza on uber eats but wanted to bring family thats visiting in to try this place dine-in. The food was amazing! So fresh! Alberto took amazing care of us! We barely had any food left to take home surprisingly. The garlic rolls were to die for with fresh garlic you can tell. We loved this cab super smooth and well priced. We'd love to come back and try some of their non-pizza dishes like their famous parms. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Updated Review 8/5/2023 The previous owners sold this establishment to new owners and just to clarify the service, food, and ambiance has not change and last time I came here was three years ago! CRUST is the Italian restaurant to come to in Miami. It is my favorite hands down. Now until August and September they have the Miami Spice Menu which is $45 for dinner (not including drinks). You get a three course meal with various choices of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Appetizers: Mozzarella Caprese and Meatball Entrees: Chicken Parmesan & Truffle Mushroom Risotto (Enormous portions) Desserts: Flourless Chocolate Cake & Limoncello Cake The food ALL have large portions, hot, and freshly served. The staff treats you will welcome arms very sweet and attentive. The prices are well worth the entire experience. The atmosphere is classy with modern Italian with a twist. Highly recommend to ANYONE coming to Crust! 5 out of 5 stars in my book congrats to the new owners! FYI - Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time especially for the weekends! They do get booked.

Yelp
One word to describe this place: EXTRAORDINARY We are frequent customers of crust and every single time we come here we do not leave disappointed. The portions are huge and affordable just like in Italy. The food is all to die for, I have never had such consistently good Italian food in America, even in New York. The inside of the restaurant is nice and homey and they hav transformed the outside seating area so you don't even feel like you're sitting next to the street. If you want Italian food that will leave you stuffed and satisfied for the price I absolutely recommend CRUST!

Yelp
Hi Chris, I just read your reply to my review, I appreciate it! Most of my review was excellent, yes? Ok, perhaps Destiny didn't know about the creamers, no biggie. I'm sure the added tip is on the menu, check, etc but I think it would be nice if the server just mentioned it, just my opinion and Les would have given her a bigger tip on $150 check, by the way. Crust is a lovely restaurant with great food, decor, and service! Thank you for the port! See you again! Nancy Kelly PB, FL

Yelp
Food here is absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are huge - definitely shareable plates. The gnocchi was delicious - I don't recommend it as left overs tho. The next day it was kinda mush. Good dessert selection. Sea salt caramel cheesecake was very good.

Yelp
There wasn't a lot of people when the group I was with stopped in for dinner but luckily we just beat the rush as the place filled up. They have a good variety of Italian cuisine to choose from. The portions were huge! I'd say almost everything I saw was family style portions and delicious.

Yelp
Got food delivered by Uber eats and the taste was amazing! I ordered the pink sauce gnocchi, and some garlic rolls, and a chocolate cake. The gnocchi tasted fresh and flavorful and the pink sauce was beyond words delicious and fresh; you could tell that it was homemade as there were whole pieces of tomato in the sauce itself. This is some of the best pink sauce and gnocchi I've ever had! The garlic rolls were amazing too, with lots of garlic, Parmesan, and olive oil. I feel there might have been a smidge too much olive oil but it was great nonetheless. The portions are huge, and the pasta that I had could easily feed 4 people, I had to save the rest as leftovers. My only complaint, and why it's 4 stars is that I had ordered their chocolate cake and was really looking forward to it, but it was missing from my to go Uber eats order. I'm not sure if this is on the part of the restaurant or the delivery driver forgetting it, but either way someone should make sure (like a hostess or something) that when the driver picks up the food that he has the total order. I can't attest to the ambiance as I ordered delivery.

Yelp
Twice a month I must go to Crust to have their chicken Parmesan. It's a thing. Probably one of the best, no it is the best chicken Parmesan I have ever had in my life besides mine. I always get it to go, which is why I can't give that 5th star until I dine in which is totally my fault because they deserve the five stars just for their chicken parm alone. Served with pasta. It is a portion well worth the price. I have had the Caesar salad it's delish. I really need to try more dishes.

Yelp
FAMILY SIZE PORTIONS oh.m.gee. Sign me up A lot of great affordable options for wine Dessert can't be beat, and I am not a huge dessert person, so I am serious

Yelp
After leaving a review that I found the Pizza to be disappointing - at best - the Biz owner/manager sent me a seemingly polite private message trying to buy a better opinion from me. Apparently distressed that I'm not for sale, he revealed his true nature, attacking me personally. Plainly, that is the kind of customer service you can expect at Crust. Contrary to his personal attacks attempting to shame me and unrelated to my opinion of the sub par pizza, I have no issue with anyone from S. America. I've traveled extensively throughout the Americas. But, if you're not a NY'er, and only had real NY pizza once or twice, then you're not adequately familiarized with real NY pizza. My ultimate opinion is based on my decades of experience enjoying real NY pizza in NY, and my recent BAD experience with Crust: *The pizza was LIMP and not crusty. *The pizza was VERY SMALL. *The pizza sauce was VERY SALTY. *MY EXPERIENCE WAS NOT GOOD. I'm NOT changing my opinion. It was a POOR VALUE. Drop the attitude pal and try bullying someone else. I'm not for sale and I'm not intimidated. In no circumstance does the whiny and obnoxious biz owner/manager get to write my review. Try your threatening tactics elsewhere - I suggest the kitchen with a more refined hand on the salt shaker. My ONE STAR opinion stands.

Yelp
Enjoyed the Miami spice menu at CRUST! I can't believe I've never been here before, but I'm glad I finally found time to try some delicious plates! For $45, you get to choose from a VERY varied menu. Portions are BIGGG, so come hungry. The pasta could've done with a bit more seasoning and flavoring, but everything else was very delicious. Parking is limited to very few paybyphone street parking or valet (which if I remember correctly is $15).
google avatar

Cohen A.

Yelp
Crust is one of my favorite pizza places. It definitely doesn't disappoint you and it's as good as any pizza place in New York the Buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto was off the charts. I don't have one slice to complain about whether it be the meat, pizza or any other one. You're absolutely great. This sauce is a perfect consistency. Covers the pizza nicely the dough has that crunch that you just love. Service is always great. Everybody is friendly. They have a great ambience and it's the customers that add to it. It's one of the easiest restaurants to make new friends. I've noticed every time I've been there. Everyone talks to each other which is nice. It's definitely one of my favorite places And I recommended to all

Yelp
Let me just say the reviews, any reviews, not even mine can do this place justice. The food the service the ambiance is top tier. Tucked away in an unassuming little corner spot there is luscious greenery which hides a beautiful patio space. Inside the double doors is an amazing Italian vibe with beautiful and ornate masks. The hostess is amazing! She remembers your name and makes you feel like a regular and honestly after trying this place for the first time we kind of were considering we were only visiting. For prospective before we were even done with our meal the first night we had made reservations for two nights later. The first night we had a pizza each (you definitely could share one). You cannot make changes to any menu items unless you have allergies or a religious conviction however honestly that is exactly how it should be. You taste exactly what the chef intends and his taste buds should be trusted. We were unprepared for how delicious the meal was and how amazing the staff were. Not only were they so kind but so attentive. Even after we had come back for a second night and had a different waitress, she remembered our order and things we had said to her. This place is cozy and reservations are a must. While we got lucky on a week night, I would never chance being that lucky again. The seafood risotto was the best my fiancé and I have ever had and the mussels were to die for. We are still talking about the pizza. This place is great for groups, kids and a date night. I could go on, but I know every time we are in Miami we will be coming back here atleast once. Top 100 restaurants in the US for Yelp and honestly spot on. My fiancé has said that this restaurant and meal has been the best he has had since Nobu. 10/10 for any and all categories you can think of.
google avatar

Franchesca R.

Yelp
I've had this place on my list for a while because of its raving review but honestly was really underwhelmed by the food. The garlic knots are the reason I'm giving them a 3 rather than a 2 the rolls were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We got the new chicken pizza and it was pretty average we didn't finish it because it was lacking flavor and crispyness. I am disappointed I didn't like this place as much as I thought I would. We ordered chicken piccata to go and it was much better than the pizza. So maybe order pasta rather than pizza if u come here! They also automatically apply a 20% service charge no matter the party which I thought was usual but the service was good our waiter was very attentive.
google avatar

Anastia B.

Yelp
Food is ok but also it takes a lot of effort to mess up bread and cheese. The service is good, but the chef in the back is out of hand. He can be heard from the dining room screaming at god knows what. Not sure what got him going the other week but it could be heard throughout the restaurant. Hope he calmed down since then but it definitely made our experience less peaceful. Other than that i had a great time with my man. My server was excellent the wine was good. Tiramisu was made in house and delicious. Just a crazy chef screaming kind of ruined the vibe.
google avatar

Eva P.

Yelp
Food + restaurant ambiance was very mid for the price point. Better options of the same thing in better places. Could be cleaner.
google avatar

Abby C.

Yelp
Crust is AMAZING Italian food with GREAT bang for your buck! The portions are absolutely massive, meant for family style eating, but the prices are in line with any other Miami entre! Everything is so delicious, and you will have leftovers for days. The staff is pleasant. The interior is dimly lit for dinner time.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been to Crust time and time again because they simply do not fail me! Came tonight to celebrate my mom's birthday as this is her favorite restaurant. We were a total of 8 and the service was wonderful, thanks Andy! For starters we ordered the garlic rolls which came to the table hot, fluffy and topped with garlic butter goodness. To share we ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, the roma pizza, the pear & zola ravioli and the Caesar salad. As a caesar salad connoisseur, they really do have a great caesar! And to top it all off, some delicious creamy coffee rich tiramisu- another winner for me. All in all, great service, great food and a great space to celebrate with loved ones.
google avatar

Daniela A.

Yelp
This is such a perfect spot for a delicious dinner date. The service was not that great my first time, so I'm hoping it is better the next time I go. The prosciutto & arugula pizza is amazing. The garlic rolls are soft, perfectly buttered & they melt in your mouth.
google avatar

Ivan Ismael G.

Yelp
The pizza and drinks were excellent, our waitress was chill, talkative, and overall great to figure out our order. The restaurant has nice path towards the entrance well decorated and the inside of the restaurant has a low light calm ambient to have conversations with the people in your party.

Yelp

Yelp
This used to be my favorite restaurant in Miami for many years... Abundant, delicious Italian food at fair prices! I visited with the wife yesterday only to my total disappointment that it sold and is under new management. Well under this new management food is no longer delicious (just average) and prices are ridiculous! And on top of it all you get charged automatically with 20% gratuity and they ask for an additional tip. 2 pizza + 2 drinks = $120 + parking Will not be back and no longer recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures at this time to add to the review but I still wanted to let you know Crust is my favorite Italian restaurant in Miami. My mom discovered this restaurant and since the first day we went we fell in love with the place. The restaurant is not big which makes it very intimate. When you arrive you are greeted by the owner, which truly is the sweetest. She makes sure everyone is enjoying themselves and that everything is running smoothly. There is such a good energy in this restaurant. We love crust so much we even spent Christmas Eve 2022 at the restaurant. Besides having a wonderful ambiance the food is delicious...we usually get the chicken parm (named one of the best in America), the shrimp cakes, the garlic rolls and the prosciutto and arugula pizza The portions are generous and the food is made fresh. The tomato sauce is something out of this world but so is the fettuccine is also very good. I'm just someone that prefers tomato sauce. The next time you're craving Italian food you must check out crust. I would recommend making reservations because the restaurant gets packed and there is limited amount of tables.

Yelp
Vuelvo a visitarlo y está mejor que la primera vez que es mucho decir, la presentación y la cantidad de comida en el plato es un derroche de sabores y la atención es simplemente perfecta Gracias por un día de los padres maravillosos

Yelp
We went out for a casual dinner, but we felt very special. Starting with the warm welcome we received from the hostess and the manager Chris, followed with the attentive service from Joe and ending with the delicious food and leftovers we took home. We tried the buratta caprese because I was craving something refreshing. The shrimp cakes were delicious as always. I've had the Crust pizza many times and we truly love it, but we noticed improved quality in the ingredients this time. The 4 cheese risotto was perfect amount of saltiness coming mostly from the cheese. We finished the night with freshly made Nutella Zeppoli. The ambiance was very romantic (the dimmed lightning and the fresh rose at the table was a nice touch). Thanks Crust! Can't wait to go back to try all new items on the menu as well as some old ones that I've been craving.

Yelp
The best Lobster Ravioli ever. Calamari is on point. LARGE portions at a great price. The staff are always nice with fabulous service.

Yelp
This restaurant is amazing the food is so good. It was empty since they just started opening for lunch so the service was amazing. The ambiance was quiet since no one was there but we still enjoyed it. The pizza is amazing. The chicken parm will feed an army it's so big and so good. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
This place was amazing we ordered a bit of everything. The chicken parm was great. The seafood risotto was great. We also ordered fettuccine Alfredo, And a pepperoni pizza everything was top notch. The waiter was super friendly too.

Yelp
Everything except self parking is a challenge. Food is excellent on every level. Quality , quantity and ingredients. Definitely a family atmosphere where you feel like you are at an Italian reunion.

Yelp
Crust has been on my list of places to try in Miami for a while. I highly recommend making a reservation online, it has limited seating. We were greeted warmly and wished a happy anniversary multiple times after making a note of it when making the reservation. The atmosphere is quaint and has an intimate European feel. Our waiter was great and made recommendations for every course. HIGHLIGHTS: - Chicken Parmesan- award winning and gigantic. Amazingly tasty and traditional. The portion size could have fed three people so I got to take home lots of leftovers! - Lobster Ravioli- so flavorful and succulent in a tasty cream sauce. Highly recommend! - The owner brought over two complimentary samples of port wine as a cheers and thank you. It was much appreciated and a nice touch. LET DOWNS: - The drink menu has a large selection of wines, there are only a couple cocktail options. We both went with the mojito which was pretty tart and lime heavy. My boyfriend liked it but it was too tart for my liking. - The fried calamari is their most popular appetizer but I thought it was disappointing. It wasn't very flavorful and had some spicy pickled veggies on top which I didn't think were a good compliment. OVERALL: I'd love to come back here! I especially want to try the pizza.

Yelp
Wow wow wow WOW! I had heard about crust a lot especially from people that are picky eaters. I can now see why everyone loves it! We went on a Friday evening with no reservation and we were seated pretty quick! We started off with drinks - the garden mocktail (watermelon, cucumber, basil) and the double mango cocktail (mango purée and mango wine). Please note, both had a sparkling taste to it. We got the shrimp cakes which came with red sauce and mushrooms... I think this plate definitely stole the show!! It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. For main dish, we had the 3 mushroom penne. It was a pretty big portion and enough to satisfy for two. The sauce was delicious and not TOO creamy. And of course, we needed to add some garlic rolls on the side. Although we were already struggling to finish our entree, we decided to proceed to dessert and got the triple chocolate cake which consisted of layers of chocolate pudding, fudge, and brownie with ganache. This was heaven to me as I have a major sweet tooth. Putting all the delicious food aside, the staff was amazing as was the GM Chris that kept checking in on us to make sure all was good. To keep in mind - if you live close, might be best to Uber. This is located on a corner and although they have valet parking, the rest is street parking which can be tricky finding.

Yelp
This place is awesome. From the moment we were greeted at the door, the service was outstanding. The host was wonderful and had read our profile and recommended menu items based on that. Our service was impeccable... she was a ninja with everything we needed and happily wrapped up what we couldn't finish. Speaking of the food, that's the main reason to be there. The risottos are lovely and the appetizers are delicious and fresh. I highly recommend the 3 course menu. It's a great deal. Have a glass of house red while you enjoy the cosy ambiance. This is on my must do list when I am in Miami again!

Yelp
Finally an opportunity to try this place as we were seeing a concert nearby. I grabbed a late reservation on open table. This place is so quaint , love the low lighting & music perfect ambiance for a great dinner. We started by ordering the meatball, ricotta appetizer, perfectly tender meatballs in sauce , so delish! We also ordered a pepperoni pizza due to timing for the concert. Pizza was yummy too, wish we had more time to enjoy a full meal, the plates look amazing. Oh, the attention by our waiter was impeccable. We will definitely recommend and come back for more:)

Yelp
A+++++ everything about this place was amazing. Food was so flavorful and great portion sizes can be shared, the garlic breads were to DIE FOR. All food shown had delicious taste.

Yelp
I've known Kline, the chef and owner for at least 10 years because I've done work for him in tech especially before he even opened the joint but that's just some history. Throughout the years he has called me to help him with his network, phone system and some. He's the nicest chef I've known for a long time. He's always insisted in me trying the food and I have tried a few pies here and there and so I'd be the first to tell you that the pizza is unquestionably some of the best in the nation. Tonight I had a concert nearby and decided to swing by and try some of the pasta so let's talk about what I had for dinner... Garlic rolls: an order of three mouthwatering garlic rolls that could easily be shared because they're very generous with portions here. Shrimp cakes: lightly breaded shrimp cakes sitting on tomato coulis and lemon horseradish mayo. The cakes alone are very flavorful but dip it in the sauce and it elevates it to a whole new level. Not too fishy and definitely not bland, you can taste the shrimp in the mix without a doubt. Seafood linguine: shrimp, mussels, calamari, fish and clams on a olive oil and garlic sauce by choice because you could choose a creamy, Alfredo, pink or marinara sauce when you order. All seafood was fresh, not chewy, pasta cooked al dente and sauce was light just like I wanted. I didn't have room for the limoncello cake that I had every intention to try but I'll leave it for my next visit. Andres, the bartender/waiter was most courteous and attentive and Kline's wife was also very welcoming and cordial. I didn't expect any less from this gem of an establishment. Needless to say, an amazing dining experience.

Yelp
As promised in my previous review, I did return for my parents birthday. The booking of the table was anise. Thanks to the owners, they are incredibly sweet people! My family, but more importantly, my parents, absolutely loved this restaurant. Thank you again, I hope you all visit!

Yelp
Once upon a time, this place was absolutely amazing when it was run by the previous owners! Unfortunately, the current state of quality and atmosphere leaves much to be desired.

Yelp
Crust is just Okay.... So I came to Crust based on reviews fromiami times etc. They said that this is one of the best pizzas in the country... I highly disagree. Let me start by saying that it is not a bad pizza, however it is in my humble opinion not even in the top 100 of Miami. The pizza is heavy... much more like an American version and far from its original and much better Italian original versions. I can see why many people could like it.. the crust is nice yet thick. Plenty of toppings and the sauce is actually not bad; but pizza it's supposed to be actually light and thin. Everything here is way over the top. I would say this represents well a family style restaurant... large salads which BTW was probably the best thing we ordered here. Mediterranean salad and the caprese salad were outstanding. (This is one of the reasons for the 3 stars) based on salads and garlic rolls it would have been a 5 star experience. Pizzas and pasta portions are huge. 1 pizza and 1 salad would easily feed 3 people. The pizza is thick and weights a ton... they put lots of cheese and lots of whatever toppings you asked for. The pastas are sharable and usually good. I just disagree with the amount that it is served. Think olive garden. And I'm sorry for the comparison but it is what it is. When I think of pizza this is definitely not what it comes to mind. Service is outstanding and impeccable. The wine list is really good and parking if not valet.... sucks. Keep in mind valet is $20 bucks. THIS IS THE AMOUNT THEY CHARGED ME THAT NIGHT. PLUS THE TIP I GAVE THEM. (any discrepancies talk to the valet ) owner seems to think I would lie about this one fact. Not a place I would recommend or be coming back anytime soon.... except for the burrata or other salads.

Yelp
Decent Italian-American food with high prices but huge portions. You need to make a reservation to eat here, but they have a lot of availability during the week. We were a party of 8 -- two families of 4. We ordered the burrata and prosciutto to start, and then each family ordered a pizza and pasta dish to share. I thought the food was fine, and while the prices are high, the amount of food is pretty huge. The other family ordered the chicken parm, and it was honestly a serving platter worth of food (at least a pound of pasta, all heaped with chicken, sauce and cheese). The pizzas are 12 inch, bigger than a standard personal pizza, especially since the crust is on the thick side, and they put on a lot of toppings. I tried the pepperoni pizza and the lobster ravioli. The pizza was good but not traditional, Napoli-style pizza. The lobster ravioli was okay, although the peas were mushy, it was all drowned in sauce, and some of the ravioli tasted fishy. (The ravioli dish was a decent portion but much smaller than the chicken parm, FYI.) At the end of the meal, they brought out a digestif for all the adults in the group, which was nice. A quirk of the restaurant is that they don't allow substitutions, and they upcharge for sharing. My preference is smaller portions of better quality food, so I'm not a fan of their strategy. I would have preferred to order more, smaller dishes than have 4 people share two dishes and then pay the upcharge since the portions are so large. As we were traveling from out of town and most upscale hotels don't have microwaves in the room, leftovers were not an option.

Yelp
At crust you will consistently find great food, but hefty portions. I had the veal Parmesan and you mist definitely get your monies worth. This was my 2nd time going and the service was excellent and accommodating. Crust is definitely a spot worth going back to for a consistent date night spot :)

Yelp
I'm writing my last review of 2021 having enjoyed their takeout.. It's like having Chef Klime, Anita and all of their wonderful crew in my dining room. It shouldn't be a surprise to my regular readers that CRUST was supposed to be my New Year's dinner. However due to circumstances some of you know, I ended up ordering takeout. I called to cancel my reservation and they were kind enough to let me go ahead and take my order, my usual dishes to go. As usual, I started with their Caprese salad.. The basil, the tomato and fresh slices of creamy mozzarella were fresh as always and well packed with the other cold items (more on that later). The chicken Parm was as usual very well portioned juicy chicken breasts with a nice layer of melted cheese and lots of rich marinara sauce in the package. Of course I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The noodles also with a nice helping of marinara sauce, were just past al dente as I like. The change in plans I mentioned also included celebrating with some good friends. I'm sure they're enjoying the delicious figs and prosciutto of the trademark crust pizza. Bon appétit and here's to celebrating in person with such a yummy dish lol. I also want to thank Chris, their very talented manager, for a) taking my to go order by phone (instead of online as their usual due to my situation and b) his recommendation of the sea salted caramel cheesecake with fresh berries I enjoyed. Since I have tried most of their desserts I asked for a surprise and it will be on my regular dessert rotation. My New Year's Resolution will be to continue to enjoy this great restaurant!

Yelp
I thoroughly love coming here! Food and hospitality are top notch with very attentive service. They always make you feel at home. Just come here with a very hungry stomach because the portions are VERY generous :D. I would say order one appetizer, entree, and dessert for two people (or just take many leftovers home haha! My friend Marilu and I came here for an early dinner December 18th at about 5pm because we were catching the Andrea Bocelli concert nearby and wanted to not make a big rush of things (and the restaurant with few people at that time). FOOD: Huge as always, we started with sharing a Capresse which looked gorgeous with the large slices of tomatoe, buffala Mozarrela intertwined with greens (arugula?) and balsamic drizzled all over. It started the evening right. We ordered house white wine and toasted to the evening. I got the Sauvingon Blanc and Marilu drank a Chardonnay and we toasted. Good white wine! The mains came out and did i mention they were very generous portions? My plate of Octopus were two huge long strips along with a mountain of Risotto, spinach blended into it (chopped) and adorned with some greens. The octopus had the perfect consistency and went well along with that great risotto but next time I might opt for the Octopus Salad or order for two people simply because their menu is full of delicious items I'd like to have room for. Marilu ordered a Margherita pizza which could have fed at least 2 people. It was HUGE with lots of slices of tomatoe and a bountiful amount of cheese and huge crust! Wow. Blown away. Dessert: I was getting leery of having dessert as I was already getting full and wanted to enjoy the concert, but was convinced to split an Apple Pie A La Mode. What a great gluttonous decision that was. Each bite was sinful, decadent, especially with the top having crunchies that were sweet lip smacking along with their ice cream (did they say they made the ice cream in-house? I cannot recall). So yes make sure to save room for desset. After dinner drink: As always they provide a free small amount of port to sip on afterward. Very nice. I really want to give them 4.80 stars as they are phenominal, but because it is a close intimate place, they get very busy hurrying about to the tables which makes it a challenge for me to navigate toward the single men's bathroom and to also leave the restaurant after paying the check. We had to stop a few times to let the hurried servers pass us. But it's all ok! I enjoy the food and service and luckily found 1 street parking nearby (They also do offer valet parking but I declined that). Happy 2021! See you next year.

Yelp
Best dining experiences I've experienced in Florida, hands down. I grew up in NJ so I do tend to hold high expectations with pizza generally. That being said my fiancé and I went to Crust after I had surgery. They take reservations but were able to fit us in on short notice. The restaurant is decorated with beautiful ornaments, statues, and art. Gave me feels of a modern day Italian renaissance, both inside and outside. For food, boy was I in for a surprise! Incredibly large portion sizes, amazing flavor, and a unique fresh ingredient tasting menu. I tried the mocktails because I wasn't supposed to drink--to die for, so refreshing. I tried a variation of different things on the menu. Everything was so good, we made a reservation at our dinner table for two days later where we tried even more of the menu. Each dining experience capped off with a wine send off at the end of the meal with the owner. (I ended up drinking something). From the warm welcome to the end of the meal, the entire experience made me feel like a regular as the staff remembered who I was and made me feel like a fixture in their restaurant. I recommend without reservations (please make reservations) and will return without question whenever I am in town! Great job to the team at CRUST! DISCLAIMER: My average review score 3.41 when I made this review--(take with a grain of salt) (I rely on Yelp to go to places with good reviews, may account for the higher average)

Yelp
Went Aug 16 with the Family for Birthday dinner and our server Joe was beyond great!! Everyone loved their dish, salmon with mash, chicken parm and Fettuccine Alfredo - everything delicious!! Drinks were yummy. They don't rush you but at the same time food came out fairly quick and hot. This is my 2nd time visiting of what will be many more to come. If there was any critic it was the chocolate panna cotta which was delicious as a mousse but not the consistency of a panna cotta.

Yelp
Ordered Chicken Parmesan and my order was missing the fettuccine that goes with it. Also ordered a dessert, the red velvet cake and it was sooo dry and they placed it in top of hot garlic rolls package. Spoke to Uber driver he said those were bags handed to him. Not the same Crust quality as before. On my previous order there were some issues but didn't mention it, everyone has an off day. But this time around not up to the caliber and little details as before. On top of that, I found a hair in my food, seemed like a man's chest hair to me. So disappointed. I called to give opportunity to remedy but they were closed. So bummed.
