Yelp
I've been here numerous times and tried several items. Here are my thoughts:
Location:
it's small, but cute. Lots of plants, lots of flies. They currently only have outdoor seating.
Food:
Iced caffe latte with almond milk: They use Califia almond barista blend and it tastes very refreshing with their espresso. It's my go to drink.
Iced chai tea latte: very sweet, very spicy (as in, you can definitely taste the spices). Way better than Star Bs.
Iced latte with cafe de olla syrup: it's made in house. you can definitely taste the piloncillo and cinnamon. It's deliciously sweet. I get it as a treat for myself every now and then.
Iced lavender latte: the lavender is quite subtle but it's definitely noticeable. It's also not too sweet. If lavender is your thing, I don't think it'll disappoint.
Hot caffe late: I've had it with whole milk. It tastes great but too bubbly and airy for it to be a proper latte. I wouldn't say no to it.
Iced Pumpkin spice latte: not good. My mom and I thought it tasted strongly of something we couldn't figure out. It was a little chunky. The syrup is made in house, so it could be that we are conditioned to enjoy artificial pumpkin flavor more that actually pumpkin.
Coffee beans: their supplier is Patria (a local coffee roaster) and I love it. I often buy my coffee beans here and ask the barista to grind them.
Chipotle chicken panini: it's a popular item. It's creamy with a kick. Very hearty.
Cheesy egg and ham sandwich: as the name states, it's cheesy, eggy, and hammy. It's delicious.
Turkey sandwich: I love turkey sandwiches but this is my least favorite item on the menu so far. It's fine, but there are better things to get.
Veggie sandwich: this is my favorite food item BUT I always add turkey. It's delicious, satisfying, healthy.
Side salad: it's good. It has cranberries, sliced almonds, spring mix, and some sort of tangy vinaigrette.
vegan banana bread: tastes like a good banana bread. You can tell it's vegan (the lack of butter is noticeable) but it's not at all a bad thing.
Vegan blueberry muffin: very sweet, and stuffed with blueberries. Pretty good. It's less noticeably vegan.
Service
Everyone is very nice and accommodating, but they mess up orders too often.
I've been here several times alone, with friends, with family. Nearly every single time, someone's order is wrong.
The staff are very nice about it and quick to correct the order, but it ends up using everyone's time.
If you plan to stop here for breakfast before work or for lunch, try ordering ahead of time. They are usually busy, and if you intend to get you order right if it's done incorrectly, you'll need extra time.
Over all, it's pretty great. I always come back.
