We came for the extra loaded milkshakes. I love puns and nods to Bob's burgers and this restaurant has both. We got the "choc it to me" shake and it was enormous, so chocolate filled and amazing. It was a lot but my partner and I did finish it. I got chicken tenders and we shared onion rings so I could save room for milkshake. The chicken tenders were kind of dry but seasoned well, I really came for the milkshake so it was fine. Service was fast and the drinks were good too. There was some kind of event going on that seemed to take most of the attention. We left full and happy

Google
Super cute place. Free street parking. I think the chicken options were better than the beef. The bubble bath ice cream thing was worth the money. You get bubbles, a rubber duck, a bath tub to take home, and tons of ice cream. The staff was really nice too.

Google
Amazing place with amazing food. I ordered Sinhala with chicken instead of pork and we tried CBD drinks too. Mine was Kombucha Ginger Chai with a kick of rum and my friend order Pineapple Passion fruit flavor with vodka in it. Overall 5/5 place.

Google
Food was amazing and so was the service. Our waiter Mark was outstanding and super helpful!! We will definitely be back!!

Google
The real star of the show here (besides customer service) is the fries. They are perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. I would go back just for the fries! The burgers I would say are above average but nothing special, the "positivity sauce" tastes like any other sauce that comes in a burger and doesn't add much. I am excited to come back and try the chicken next time!

Google
Such a good place to stop in for a great burger or chicken tenders, fries, some beer and soft serve. Reasonably priced (actually lower than many of similar Chicago restaurants) and the staff is always amazing. TVs behind the bar and around 8 beers on tap makes for a nice bar seat as well. Nice outside patio to enjoy during the summer as well!

Google
We tried the burgers, fries, onion rings, breakfast sandwich and chicken tenders. Everything was delicious but my one criticism is the burgers are a bit too sweet for me. I assumed it’s the cola onions but the pickles are on the sweet side too. Next time I’ll add some raw white onion. Onion rings were about as close to perfect as possible and a surprisingly large portion for the price. The tenders were excellent with a bold peppery bite. All the sauces were solid. Their premium thick-cut bacon is reason enough to return. Perfect place for a plate of beef fat fries and a beer on the patio.

Google
Good food. Horrible value. We miss Derby. While the food at CSK is quite good (cauliflower was fantastic) and the positivity is appreciated, it isn't worth the price. $12 for kids mac'n cheese, fries and a fruit cup? No large plate for under $24? No sandwiches or burgers available for dinner? I appreciate being a high-end restaurant. But did you have to close a neighborhood restaurant to be ANOTHER expensive restaurant? There are already two others on the block. Derby was the last restaurant in the neighborhood that had a neighborhood feel and reasonable prices. On any given night you could find an Oscar Mayer family. Parent mixers, game watching, lazy Thursday nights - gone. OM families gave so much business. Also, how can you argue that you are fighting for a cause when kids meals are delivered in large paper boxes and plastic containers? What's wrong with a simple ceramic plate? Anti-cancer need not be pro-landfill. We'll be taking our business else where.

Yelp
Great Place! Good Ambiance, amazing service! The best burger ever! Ive been to them all Kumas Au cheval DMK Chicago burger bar All great! But this place was amazing.

Shweta S.

Yelp
Service was great! The staff was friendly and courteous! The only option for vegetarians was the beyond the meat patty, which was good! I think it would've been much better had it been the impossible patty instead! The Sundae is a must have. It's so cute, but also pretty delicious!! The venue looks so beautiful and would be the perfect place for a small anniversary party or celebration!

Yelp
laid back space to take kids and adults for burger and sandwiches for dinner. They also have chicken tenders and really good fries. It's near the school so it's a nice place to stop after pick up. The tables are covered with drawing paper and they give crayons for the kids- it's perfect. The CSK burger is solid. The non burger options are good too. It's a short menu so they do it all well. Even their simple soft serve ice cream is so yummy. Tip: bring cash. There is a credit card fee.

Yelp
Grab a burger you're going to love this! The place was easy to find with street parking and was very attractive. The outdoor patio was pretty big with lots of tables and chairs. When I popped it, it was a slow pocket so service was very fast. The menu options were very simple and easy to understand but the cashier was very helpful with any questions I had. I pretty much built my own burger and added bacon with a compliment of fries. I love the idea of going to the pick up window after hearing your name being called, rather than waiting for a server to bring the food to my table. The table tops were covered in disposable white paper with a compliment of crayons spread throughout to bring out one's artistic creativity while waiting for the food. I explored a lemon drop martini as a cocktail and it was very nicely crafted. The manager on staff came over to check in on my experience to make sure everything was going well; and it was. I didn't get a chance to try a float but the burger and cocktail was good enough for me to certainly return again for more or something else!

Yelp
TL;DR: Go for the cheap burger that has GREAT quality and their buttermilk ranch! I was not sure what I expected walking into CSK Chicago. They said they recently "reopened," but I was not sure what they were prior (maybe only an event space?). The vibe is casual, but has a very friendly sitting option as you order at the bar and the tables have paper covers with crayons - perfect for kids (or adults who like to draw)! The side of onion rings are good, but you get more quantity when you order fries. I ordered the double cheeseburger CSK style and it was GREAT! I think it ALMOST surpasses Small Cheval's burger... I wish they had some type of aioli to go along with it because if they had a bomb aioli - it might even TOP Small Cheval! Their buttermilk ranch is pretty stinking good though, so I suggest you get it on the side for dipping the burger and/or fries. When I go next, I will try their milkshakes!

Celine F.

Yelp
CSK serves tasty, simple burgers for a reasonable price. Ordering up front was easy. They also have a full bar if you want to order a drink. After placing your order and paying, you can choose to sit inside the restaurant or on their patio. Since we brought our dog we sat outside. After about 5 minutes of waiting we heard our name being called by a man with a speaker phone. I grabbed our tray of food and returned to our table to enjoy. My eyes were bigger than my stomach when I ordered a double cheeseburger with the normal CSK fixings. While delicious, it was a lot of burger for me! Next time I'll just order a single cheeseburger and add on some freebie fixings like lettuce and tomato just so the burger doesn't eat so heavy. My husband and I also shared an order of fries with a side a ranch. As we left we were curious about their milkshakes and ordered a chocolate one to-go. It tasted like artificial chocolate syrup and I would not order it again. Overall a nice atmosphere for good burgers.

Yelp
Great place to take the kids and the burgers were beyond my expectations! Kid friendly but they also have a bar so adults can enjoy theirselves as well. We order the bath ice cream which was more than enough for 3 people.

Michael B.

Yelp
My grandsons were in town and saw the gigantic milkshakes and thought they'd be impressed. Really had low expectations assuming this would all be Instagram food. Everything we had was really good. I had a wedge salad and the boys really liked their onion rings, burger and fried chicken sandwich. Quick friendly counter type service and the place was clean and fun decor. Parking can be tough in this neighborhood.

Christina S.

Yelp
Cute spot for a shake break! Great service and fun menu. Outdoor seating perfect in the summer.

Meg G.

Yelp
Very delicious it's such an experience. Every one must experience the hamburgers, hotdogs to the onion rings. The desserts are fabulous. They can be split from 2 to 4 people.

Mckaila G.

Yelp
This place was surprisingly way better than I expected. I've been admiring the space for the last 3 years anxiously awaiting it to reopen. The food is great! What throws me off is this place shouldn't be an order at window type spot it's too nice, it should be table service. Bar offerings were basic and I think they could grow in popularity with offering specialty cocktails.

Kristian L.

Yelp
$25 for a milkshake with a ho ho, cupcake, and ice cream sandwich? Ok I'll bite. Review: Well, definitely could have bought all of them at Aldi's and gotten packages of 6-10 each for that price. Nothing special and small. Milkshake itself tasted fine but nothing above average. But here was the kicker. Suggested tips to choose from on screen were 20-30% (of course there is other option you can pick or not tip at all). You order when you walk in and pay so you are pre-tipping. Then you have to go pick up your milkshake at the window. Want spoons or napkins or water? Yup, get up and walk back to the window and get it yourself. What am I tipping for? I am all about tipping for service and more for good service. But at 2 pm on a Thursday afternoon with not many customers and staff not doing a whole lot, a little service (or any service when asking for a tip) would go a long way for making this a place I would want to try again and support. I did not try any of the food or drinks so I can't comment on those. Those maybe could save this place and make it somewhere to frequent. The space is great with outdoor space unrivaled. It has been a few successful places over the years and I think part of that is the space itself. I wish this place well and hope they make some adjustments as they grow. Not off to a good start though.

Yelp
The absolute best food and service. With the most insane milkshakes i've discovered in Chicago. They have amazing deals for DePaul students as well!! Def not talked about enough

Madison S.

Yelp
What a cute concept when you walk in - the menus have a little message to tell each other one nice thing! Love that moment to be able to take in with your friends! The environment is super cute , very laid back and the music isn't loud so ideal for chatting . Staff was super friendly and accommodating Brunch menu is simple - which makes it easier to find an item. The food was good ! I got a chicken sandwich with fries . Big portions but a little steep in price. Would definitely come back to try different options again

Cam G.

Yelp
Stopped here quickly on weeknight and was blown away on how great this burger was. Not only was the service quick and attentive, but the food came out quickly as well. Not to mention the outdoor seating is great. They play good music as you dive into this juicy beast.

Frank L.

Yelp
The CSK burger was amazing, fries were delicious. Cool location - highly recommend! Will have to save room for a shake next time.

Brad M.

Yelp
"My margarita tastes like the water that you used to rinse the strawberries." "It tastes like you left 3 skittles in a Lacroix for a week and then threw a lemon on top." Waitress: "I couldn't find my bartender so I just made the drinks." (Probably a mistake.) Waitress: (actual quote) "Wow, you're like the 5th table to pound your drinks and leave?" Didn't have the food and stopped by on an afternoon. Was going to give it 2 stars, but then the waitress confirmed we were not actually crazy. You can give it a try, but it's probably better to find something else.

Yelp
New Year's Day, a little hungover, a lot tired and we were looking for some dinner. The banner stating they were open on Yelp caught my eye, the menu held it. The first thing we noticed was the menu asking us to tell each other something we appreciate about the other. A little quirky, which seemed thematic for the meal. Our server was very passionate, attentive and enthusiastic. We had no idea about CSK's philanthropic efforts when we chose it, it's a cool business model. We started with the brussel sprouts and the cauliflower. Our server insisted foregoing the pork in the sprouts would really alter the dish, so I skipped them. The cauliflower was really good, I could've made a meal of it. Even my husband who generally dislikes cauliflower gave it a thumbs up. I'd m planned on the kale salad, but but the burgers delivered to the nearby table caught my attention. I went with the veggie burger, my husband the smoke chicken, one of our friends the chicken sandwich and the other the sinhala. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the portions were generous, even on the smaller plates. We skipped dessert, but they present the menu in a view finder like you probably had as a kid. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal here and would return.

Yelp
My family and I came here for a dinner on a Sunday. We were able to make reservations through yelp and were seated right away. Nobody was in the mood for anything super heavy or expensive so this place was perfect. I went with the Octopus and was happy with my choice. Tasted great and the octopus was grilled nicely on the outside but still tender on the inside. My mom ordered the burger, cooked medium. She really enjoyed it and ended up taking a decent amount home. There was mixed reviews on the chicken sandwich so if you're considering one of the sandwich options, I would stick with the burger. The side salad is wonderful! Fresh ingredients and a wonderful light dressing. I would've been happy just eating a salad for dinner because it was that good. Our server was awesome! Very kind and attentive. We ended up leaving something at the restaurant and he ended up chasing us down the block in the cold to make sure we had everything! There's a lot of places to pick from when It comes to food in Chicago but I was pretty happy we landed here We found street parking nearby pretty easily on a Sunday night.

Yelp
Beautiful space, great hospitality and Sara and her team are fantastic! Awesome service by: Mason and Kris, they were both great!

Yelp
I got the amazing opportunity to participate in a women owned business show at the gorgeous Centre Street Kitchen last summer debuting my jewelry company Kenza Collection along with a few female entrepreneur friends of mine. The event space is open, airy, and absolutely dreamy inside! It was the perfect size for multiple vendors to show off their craft, interact with people, and still have a casual area to mingle and grab food. We were lucky to work with Mikaela as our event coordinator at the event space as she was extremely helpful and knowledgable and kind. We catered from Fatpour Tapworks, and the food was outstanding and versatile. The beer garden is beautiful and depending on the weather could hold more vendors or be the perfect area for people attending to hang out. I would definitely join another event at the space as everything was perfect and exactly what I had hoped for!

Kevin M.

Yelp
I can't say enough about this amazing venue and my experience hosting an event of over 200+ event-goers. I had the pleasure of coordinating the event with Blanca and to say that she made what should've been a very stressful planning an easy breeze is an understatement. From the utilization of the different rooms, to the professionalism of the staff, and the upbeat music and environment of the sound system to utilize, made this event one that I still get questions about because it was a one of a kind experience. The food provided by the venue was an amazing spread of lite bites that fit everyone's appetite perfectly and when paired with the bar staff to create a beverage to wash it all down; you can't beat it. Not to mention the weather was perfect and the night was amazing thanks to the outdoor patio portion! Highly recommend this one of a kind experience of a venue for all of your needs. Tell them Kev sent ya! -K.M

Yelp
I was privileged enough to attend a preview meal at the restaurant. It's a nice little spot in terms of Instagramability. They have a neon light that says something clever. It's cramped. The food isn't very good. Portions are tiny. My group went to Taco Bell afterward because we were still hungry. It's also extremely expensive. Service was less than stellar. It doesn't even feel like the staff was enjoying themselves. The restaurant talks a big game about positivity and charity but the attitude of the staff and some of the other things I encountered while dining at the restaurant left me really wondering if the ownership lives these values or if they are just trying to make a profit off of them. It just felt phony. I hope I'm wrong. I hope that the really fancy charity and positivity restaurant really is what it says what it is but is sure didn't feel like it at all.

Brace C.

Yelp
This is the same ownership group that does "Brunch" in River West. The aesthetics are quality. The white and Grey stone rooms with greenery surrounding it is pretty cool and makes it well lit on even the darkest and rainiest of days. The staff was friendly and welcoming at all times (thanks Mark and Sarah!). The music wasn't overpowering but you could hear it in the background. Coffee was good, but if I could make a recommendation to them I would look to Starbucks and see if they can get a hold of their 'micro blend no. 11' (its an amazing bold medium roast coffee that's served at Tom Douglas restaurants in Seattle, WA). Love the bar and it's liquor offerings. Food was amazing! Definitely do the glazed donut for starters. Bill for two with two starters, two coffees, two drinks, and two entrees + kids pancakes ran us $100. We will return! Thanks for the great mid-morning meal, Centre!

Michael A.

Yelp
I have gone in a few times in the last week for both cocktails and dinner - both were amazing. The general manager recommeded the grilled octopus - I'll get it each time i go. The menu is fresh and ecletic. Service and atmoshphere are excellent and needed upgrade to the neighborhood. Keep up the good work.

Yasmeen M.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. I researched places to eat for 30 minutes, because I was spending the night alone. No kids, no husband. I desperately wanted a good meal and drink. The ambience is nice. The place is beautiful. The service was great. The manager, the server, and the host were attentive. That is where the two stars come from. The food, however, was so salty that it ruined my taste buds for that evening. Even my wine tasted bad bc of it. First I had the asparagus, which was pretty good, but definitely seemed too salty. I ate it bc I figured that's just how that is. Then I had the octopus. It was as if the chef dumped the octopus in salt and cooked it up without shaking it off. The dressing that was on the salad was also very salty. Needless to say I sent it back and had two giant glasses of water. They were nice and did not charge me for the octopus. I wish I had it in me to try another dish, but I literally had a bad taste in my mouth. The woman next to me also sent her eggplant dish back for the same reason. What are the odds? Anyway, I won't be returning. I am writing in hopes the restaurant fixes these issues quickly so that they don't lose any more potential regular costumers. You cannot be in Lincoln Park and charging that much for bad food.

Sarah M.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this places has anything less than 5 stars. I went last night with friends and had an AMAZING TIME. Sara the GM gave me a tour and told me a little bit about the charity they work with and the meaning of the names on the wall. Our server was excellent. And the food was all delicious. We ordered the cauliflower, Brussels sprout salad, squash, crab dip, farro salad, and fingerling potatoes. I would highly recommend the fingerling potatoes and Brussels sprout salad. The ambiance is incredible and would definitely go back.

Sarah W.

Yelp
I went to Centre Street this weekend for brunch. I ordered the pancakes that came with spiced apples, dates, pecans, and a vanilla creme fraiche! The pancakes were amazing! My friends ordered the bam bam French toast and the breakfast Banh mi, both loved their meals as well! Our server was great. The decor is simple but nice. I have a brunch reservation for next week to bring other friends!

Abby L.

Yelp
Had a really wonderful dinner here tonight! My 2 friends and I came for dinner on a Friday night. The ambiance is lovely and warm, our waitress was fantastic (so nice, engaging, and accommodating), and our food and drinks were all very good. We started with the hummus appetizer. My 2 friends ordered off the Restaurant Week menu and enjoyed all of their courses too! I got the salmon and it was delicious, but a bit too salty. Only reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 is that there was an issue with our selected dessert, and they offered a replacement dessert, and still charged us for it. Seemed a bit odd to not treat us due to the kitchen error, but nevertheless-- we really enjoyed our dinner here! Will return! Excited to try other dishes next time!

Patrick G.

Yelp
Stopped in to Centre St Kitchen for a quiet weeknight dinner after a movie recently. It seems to be a nice family-friendly neighborhood place. We had a good time. VIBE: There were a couple of families with small children there when we arrived; a little noisy, but no big deal. It's a casual place, well lit and cozy. SERVICE: Food came out at a leisurely pace, which was fine with us. Our server was friendly and mostly attentive (he seemed to be pretty busy). FOOD: We shared small plates; portions were just right. Shishito peppers were tasty (caution: there were a couple of nuclear peppers on the plate). Roasted cauliflower was also yummy. Octopus with potatoes, garlic, etc was very nice. Sinhala, sort of a pork fried rice, was nicely seasoned and mellow. The wines I sampled were all delicious, though the pours were a bit skimpy. We liked the food, the laid-back vibe, and the friendly staff. I think we'll be back when we're in the neighborhood again...

John M.

Yelp
Hmm...is the neighborhood ready for $19 burgers or three modest ribbons of eggplant with wilted kale for $22? I can only speak for myself, but this neighbor won't be patronizing CSK. The new owners have done a fine job updating the old Derby space, service is friendly and efficient, and our recent Friday evening meal was tasty. It's simply too pricey for me.

Jon M.

Yelp
Tried this place for our New Year's Eve dinner, and it made its way to near the top of our favorite restaurants in the city. Great draft beer and cocktail options. Brussel Sprout appetizer and Amish Chicken are out of this world. Pot de Creme dessert is unbelievable. Service was stellar. Definitely a go-to spot for us now.

Lauren H.

Yelp
We were sad to see Derby leave but this new spot was great. Super clean and inviting decor with great drinks. We also tried the hummus with charred broccoli and it was delicious and flavorful.

Kailey W.

Yelp
Very cute decor, we loved the vibe! I ordered the bruschetta and it was so yummy. The only problem we had was that it took a very long time to get our food and check. If you have time, definitely stop at Centre Street Kitchen.

Elise F.

Yelp
It's admirable what your trying to do but why would you serve meat products when your supporting cancer research. The World Health Organization has classified processed meats - including ham, salami, bacon and frankfurts - as a Group 1 carcinogen which means that there is strong evidence that processed meats cause cancer. Red meat, such as beef, lamb and pork has been classified as a 'probable' cause of cancer.

Nicole D.

Yelp
I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of this new restaurant in my neighborhood. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised with how they transformed the place. We sat on the patio and the ambiance gets a 10/10. Great cocktail, beer, and wine selection. However, was disappointed with the food. To start, we had the brussels sprouts which would have been delicious had they not been doused in vinaigrette. For entrees, we had the Amish chicken for two which came with a side of bacon braised radish and wilted kale. The chicken was tender, but the radishes and kale were again doused in a sodium-rich dressing that overtook the dish. Will likely give Centre Street another shot, but will definitely be ordering something different!

Robyn M.

Yelp
Not a positive review for the positivity restaurant. I really disliked this place for So many reasons. So disappointing to eat at a new place in the neighborhood and know it will never make it. 1. I came in with kids and wasn't told of any kid options until I asked - wasn't told the price and when the bill came it was $12 for Kraft Mac and Cheese - I actually paid, and they actually thought it is OK to charge $12 for Boxed Mac and Cheese and not only that - we didn't even get the whole box, the portion was SO small. My daughters meal was frozen processed chicken nuggets. Also for $12. Outrageous. Not informing the customer of the price beforehand feels dishonest. The kids meal also comes with so much packaging. A true waste of plastic and paper for the landfill. 2. There were about 5 tables there tops, and it took a very LONG time to get our food - at least 30 min. 3. The sever said he misunderstood what I asked for and described a different dish, when the dish came and I told him that is not what he described, he apologized for the miscommunication but offered no substitution or accommodation for the mistake. 4. The portions were very small for the price point. This is a what I consider a neighborhood restaurant and the prices should reflect the community it wants to be a part of. Aside from price, the food was good, not great. 5. At the end of the meal I told ALL these things to the "manager" and she said thank you for the feedback. When we left she said see you soon. I will never be back there. SO many better places in the neighborhood with better value and excellent food. So sorry new neighbor, you are not a welcome addition to the hood.

Luis O.

Yelp
We had an awesome experience at this new Lincoln Park gem located in the totally and beautifully transformed old Derby space. We shared small plates to have a good sense of the depth and breath of the cuisine, all perfectly executed and delicious. We had a hummus made with pumpkin seed, the crab dip, Chicken Sopes and the petit tender (beef). After martinis, we enjoyed those with a classic California Chardonnay and a Paso Robles Zin, both by the glass. We wrapped it up with a lovely "Creme Brûlée with a twist". Service was flawless. Ask the staff about the CSK Wall! Can't wait to be back!

Nikki B.

Yelp
We will not be back and would not recommend to anyone. We sat at our table for a full 30 minutes and were not served. We watched our server walk past clearing tables, asking tables who already had food if they needed anything, before even greeting us....again, for 30 minutes. We also watched management walk by our empty table again and again. So, when we got up to leave, and the manager feigned surprise, we did not accept her free appetizer. To top it off, the hostess could not give us an estimated time to be sat so waited patiently. When we went up to check on our table, she had no idea we were ready to be sat. I've never heard of a host having an estimated time. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend unless you have all day and no appetite.

Mila G.

Yelp
Ended up here after 4 failed attempts to go other places that had long waits and it was a super happy coincidence. I decided to go healthy and had the grain and greens bowl, which was basically what I've always imagined those pretty Pinterest pictures of grain bowls taste like. It had great flavor balance - lemony and also filling and satisfying. I got my eggs scrambled but I should have done poached - it would have been even better. Tried the shakshuka my friend ordered and it was also really good - spicy but not insane. Two minuses were the bam bam French toast which was meh and the coffee cups - they are delicate and wide like tea cups and it was hard not to make a mess. The patio also looked really lovely for next summer. Great experience and they were very cool about dealing with our many hungry toddlers.

Lynne M.

Yelp
Not a great place- when I walked in they didn't even have my reservation and I showed my confirmation on my cell phone. The service was lacking and the food tasted like it had been reheated -won't be revisiting again - even took 25 minutes to get a second round of drinks. Nothing stood out in terms of any flavor or taste for the very high prices. Attempt at theme a failure as well and staff often couldn't find what tables food was to be served at.

Sue L.

Yelp
This is closed to regular dining, only open as a venue for reserved parties, etc. you need to update the listing!

Vinny S.

Yelp
Fantastic experience! This is a neighborhood gem, and am thrilled with what they have done with the space! The menu was creative, and provides many vegetarian options as well. They have a nice cocktail, and wine list, and the services seems like they have been together much longer than 18 days ;). We need to go back and try the entire menu!

Theresa G.

Yelp
Place is fantastic. Such beautiful interiors and the mission behind the restaurant is so sweet: the owner has a foundation called Never Had a Bad Day in My Life that benefits pediatric cancer families. Wish I lived closer so I could be a regular at this lux neighborhood restaurant. I consider myself an avocado toast connoisseur and it was BOMB. 10/10. Donuts are incredible, so is the broccoli Caesar salad. Highly recommend this place!

Natalie K.

Yelp
Second time visiting this place and I think both times the food was very delicious. The first time I went it was just me and my boyfriend. The waitress was so incredibly nice and helpful and suggested delicious vegetarian options. I recommend listening to your waiter and they will help you pick the best items. Second time I went there were 5 of us. We shared everything because there are so many good things to share: broccoli Caesar, fritto misto, warm crab, and poke crunch. Everything was so delicious. We listened to our waiters and got the best results. The interior is obviously beautiful and is a great place for a small group of friends, especially to share all the delicious food items!

Yelp
Hands-down whoever owns this place knows how to run a business. Heard about all the hype months ago and this place nailed it I'm literally going to buy a condo down the street just to come here once or twice a month #jimmiethebeefguy

Yelp
They did an awesome job on the buildout! Looks nothing like the neighborhood pub that it was. The food was great and the vibe was special. When you first see the menu, you know you're in for a special night. And the wall of love and hope is inspirational. I hope that they have nothing but success and that their white wall is covered with names and memories. We will be back soon!

Yelp
Beautiful decor and ambience...Our server, Lauren, an aspiring naturopathic doctor was super sweet and attentive which made our dining experience that much more pleasant. The manager/owner was super nice and chatted with us even sharing a little history on the restaurant's design inspiration. The food was fabulous and flavorful. We chose the Chicago Restaurant Week menu, purposely choosing different dishes from each course, so that we could sample everything. The beet salad and amish chicken were a hit! We can't wait to come back to experience the barrel room's outdoor patio in the spring! This place is a real neighborhood gem.

Yelp
The ambiance and decor are both beautiful, and I love to be supporting a good cause when going out. We ate here last night and had the grilled octopus, Sinhala, broccoli Caesar salad, poke crunch, cheese board, and tried all the desserts. Everything came out delicious! The staff was extremely attentive and kind. This was my first visit to Chicago, and I would definitely recommend CSK to anyone who has the chance to go. Even if you don't think you want dessert - look at the menu :)
