Which TikTok-Famous Restaurants In NYC Are Actually Good?

"Verdict: Approved if you're looking for a new boyfriend with a boat. Otherwise, eh. Cucina Alba is one of the sceniest new restaurants in NYC, situated in Chelsea by the High Line. The look they’re going for is “urbanite’s Italian holiday,” which means you should expect a bright space with pops of pink, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sightings of mid-level celebrities whose own European holidays consist of snagging invites onto richer people’s yachts. The summer-fling feeling of the space could be appealing if your seasonal depression has already hit, but the food won't inspire you to start planning a trip abroad. Cucina Alba feels like any other Fashion Week-friendly spot where eating is secondary to being seen." - neha talreja

Cucina Alba - Review - Chelsea - New York - The Infatuation

"The look this Chelsea restaurant is going for is “urbanite’s Italian holiday,” which means you should expect a bright space with pops of pink, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sightings of mid-level celebrities whose own European holidays consist of snagging invites onto richer people’s yachts. The summer-fling feeling of the space could be appealing if your seasonal depression has already hit, but the food won't inspire you to start planning a trip abroad. Cucina Alba feels like any other Fashion Week-friendly spot where eating is secondary to being seen. The menu is a mixed bag, and most things look good but end up tasting just OK. If you do go, skip the smoked lemon cacio e pepe (the smoky flavor really does not work) and the TikTok-friendly burrata with black truffle shaved tableside, and stick to the silky agnolotti and fluffy whipped ricotta." - Neha Talreja

Overall, it was a lovely experience. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The space itself was clean, modern, and elegant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, I did have one disappointing moment. I found a hair in my drink, which was unexpected and honestly took away from the experience. While the staff kindly replaced the drink, I couldn’t really enjoy the new one after that. It’s something I’ve never experienced before at a restaurant of this caliber.

Take $25 off your bill using the link on my profile! Walked in on a friday evening with no wait, but would recommend booking in advance just in case. First of all, loved the focaccia. The chicken was really good too and the black truffle pasta was tasty. The drinks were also standard, no complaints there. Portions were small though, so I didn’t come out feeling full.

All the food was amazing. Evan and Rick were really really nice too. They helped us out with all the questions we had about the food. All of the food tasted fresh. Thanks again guys

The atmosphere at Cucina Alba is incredible—cozy, cute, and so comfortable. The customer service is truly some of the best in the entire city. We ordered multiple rounds of fantastic cocktails, the aged dry steak was out-of-this-world amazing, and the salads were just as impressive. Even the bathrooms were spotless! Everything about this place is five stars. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

Beautiful and modern Italian food with expansive decor. Recommend if you’re in the area! You have to get the baked ravioli and the fresh focaccia with whipped ricotta

My friends and i had an amazing meal to kick off the holiday season. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful - the decor is stunning. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how gorgeous everything looked. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. Our white wine was great, and we shared some delicious dishes. The duck was super tasty, and the pastas - papardelle and orechiette - were cooked perfectly. The artichoke was a surprise hit, and the eggplant parmigiana was delicious too. I’d have never thought to pair dark chocolate with eggplant! Genius! Dessert was the best part. The homemade tiramisu was creamy and just right, and the chocolate dessert was a sweet finish to our night. It felt like a real celebration of good food and good friends. If you're looking for a fun Italian dinner in New York with beautiful surroundings and amazing service, this place is definitely worth checking out!

We had such an amazing evening at Cucina Alba! This is my new favorite restaurant and I'm still dreaming about our visit. From the moment you walk in, the stunning design will wow you. It has a retro Palm Springs feel. Just beautiful. There is a heavenly scent wafting through the air like one you'd find at a luxury hotel (reminded me of the Edition). We started with the much raved about whipped ricotta and baked ravioli. Both delicious. Also had the lettuce with avocado and cashew salad which was good. Entrees we loved - the agnolotti pasta with black truffle (light but still rich), cacio e pepe paccheri, and branzino!!! Sides - the eggplant parm a must! So unique and airy with many layers. The pesto zucchini (also a WOW), artichokes, brussel sprouts and butternut squash winners. For dessert we had the salted caramel ice cream, the chocolate cake, and one other item which I can't even recall what it was. Of course all devoured and gone in a flash. Giulia the beverage director came over and suggested Foucher Lebrun Sancerre Le Mont 2023. I could drink this the rest of my life. She was great! The service is phenomenal. Truly outstanding. Our waiter was on his game and dressed in a white suit. Nice touch. Everyone was so attentive and professional. So much attention has been paid to every little detail, from plates to napkins to the food. If you are looking for a special night out or want to impress someone, this is the place to go! Thanks for a great evening!

Yelp
Overall: Great food, wonderful drinks, and such a cute spot! This place exceeded my expectations. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to! Service: Service was efficient without feeling rushed, which added to the overall relaxed yet attentive vibe of the place. Ambiance: The ambiance here is super chic, with a trendy yet comfortable atmosphere. The decor is modern and stylish, making it a great spot for both casual dinners or a more special outing. The space feels intimate without being cramped, and there's a nice balance of cozy lighting and sleek design elements. Perfect for a date night or a gathering with friends! Reservation: I'd recommend making a reservation, however, I think it's also possible to walk in if you're lucky with timing. It's definitely worth the effort to book ahead to guarantee a spot and avoid a long wait. Food: The pastas were absolutely amazing--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was a delight, with each dish having its own unique twist. The drinks were fantastic! They complemented the meal perfectly and rounded out the experience.

Yelp
BEYOND happy with my experience here. This place wasn't on my radar but when a different dinner plan fell through my friend and I ended up here for an awesome meal. I loved everything we got. (Yes, we did mainly get carbs and it was WORTH IT.) Here's what we got and I'd get it all again: - FOCACCIA DELLA CASA with whipped ricotta (still thinking about this... they are coming for you Misi/Lilia!) - CALABRIAN TUNA TARTARE (fun, a bit different with the beets to mix into this, not spicy like I thought but still enjoyed it) - INVERNO salad (radicchio, hazelnuts, dates) a bit bitter (from the radicchio) but playfully sweet from the dates. I loved this and it was dressed perfectly IMO - AGNOLOTTI with black truffle fonduta (so so so good, pillows of soft delicious melt in your mouth flavor) - White Tiramisu (good but a bit overly sweet for my taste, if I had to kick anything to the curb it would be this) - Semolina pudding (tart?) very unique dessert, a hint of sweetness that mostly comes from the fruit on top. Crunchy from outer shell, Portuguese egg tart-ish consistency of the filling. Loved my glass of red wine with everything and service was overly kind and helpful with choosing all of the delicious plates. A standout job here!

Yelp
Cucina Alba offers a great dining experience and does in fact live up to the hype. From the moment you walk in the service is fantastic. I immediately fell in love with the interior, the aesthetic, and the cohesiveness of the space. I had a reservation at the Chef's Counter and it was nothing short of phenomenal! Now let's talk food - we started with the Focaccia Della Casa which was delicious. I've tried a lot of bread/ricotta combinations at restaurants but this was by far the best; the whipped ricotta was really fluffy and a bit sweet which made it a treat to eat. We followed with the Summer Shrimp which we loved. The shrimp itself was succulent and it was on top of some corn cream that was so flavorful we couldnt get enough. For our entrees, I had the Agnolotti with truffle fonduta and it was the star of our meal. I could've easily had another! My friend had the Fettuccine Pomodoro whcih was quite plentiful but nothing spectacular. Dessert was great too - the White Tiramisu was different but lovely and just the perfect amount of sweet. They have an extensive wine list and cocktails are decent. We really enjoyed being at the counter and watching the cooks prepare our meals. All the staff were very attentive and we honestly had no complaints. We're already planning a 2nd visit and I cannot wait to return.

Yelp
Service was amazing, even though we were a bit late, they were so kind and jovial. I had the truffle mushroom pasta dish, it was so flavorful and creamy. Good portion sizing. Must try!! Ambience was really nice, enjoyed the decor very unique. Definitely check this restaurant out!!

Yelp
Loved the focaccia and the truffle pasta. However the portions were extremely small and we were left pretty hungry after the meal. Great ambient but service was just okay

Yelp
Cucina Alba has been on my bookmarks for a while now, along with spots like Locanda Verde, Vistora, and other Italian hotspots. It's one of those places connected to the same group as Zero Bond --somehow. Anyway, I finally checked it out one night after an art gallery stop with my girlfriends. We wanted drinks and some light Italian food, and though it was packed when we arrived at 8 p.m., we managed to make it to the bar after hearing there'd be an hour wait for a table. It was bustling with an after-work and date-night crowd, so we ordered absinthe drinks and waited on the side. When my friends left, I snagged a bar seat solo and ordered a martini. They accidentally brought me an extra, and in NYC, you don't turn down a free martini! I got the rigatoni on recommendation, given I was "hungry, but not super hungry." Honestly? It didn't blow me away, but I'd definitely come back to try something heartier. The vibe is right, and I'd love to come here on a date (hint, hint to anyone reading). Plus, the head chef is easy on the eyes, which doesn't hurt. Cucina Alba, I'll be back--no worries!

Yelp
We went for brunch and spent around $150 for 2 people. Service was great! We were given complimentary glasses for champagne and the warm olives were amazing. The atmosphere is cute and trendy!
google avatar

Yelp
The agnolotti pasta is still to die for!! The Gentile Negroni is still super smooth. I do love the consistency of this place. However, the charred octopus was okay... a tad overcooked, which was very disappointing. The white tiramisu is unique and delicious.

Yelp
Great scene every evening at Cucina Alba which is on the ground floor of Lantern House, the iconic Thomas Heatherwick residential building which straddles the High Line. The menu has many recognizable Italian favorites, with some modern creative favorites. Cucina Alba is a great addition to Cobi Levy's Prince Street Hospitality mini-empire.
google avatar

Emi B.

Yelp
Beautiful interior, very warm. Octopus and Artichoke were good, as they meet the expectations. Escarole was meh. Monte Bianco described as cauliflower souffle but it's really a dense, heavy cream flan. The opposite, not a fan. Lasagna was really good, crispy on the edges and bottom which I like. Ciuffolotti Trapanese - waiter said it's a pesto and tomato pasta? Couldn't see or taste pesto.. Romanesco side were simple and tasty. Fennel Gratin was heavy.
google avatar

Madalina A.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, considering how cute and convenient it is! Unfortunately I was more than disappointed. EVERYTHING is overpriced and very small (NOT A GOOD COMBO!). Additionally, I wasn't really wowed by anything except for the truffle ravioli (even though it only had about 5 bites!!!) I ended up sending the brussels sprouts and tuna tartar back because I could not justify the price considering how mediocre it was... The service was also mediocre. Please do not waste your time or money on this place. 100% not worth it.

Yelp
We came to NYC for a new year's celebration and were treated to dinner at Cucina Alba. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the halibut which I thought was cooked to perfection and quite a great price at $44. My friend's husband who treated us got the Branzino Al Forno which was beautiful food art. I never wanted to take a picture of a plate so badly but considering the company, it would have been tacky to pull out my phone, lol. My husband got the New York Strip which he said was quite good. The restaurant has a cool trendy vibe and service was superb, highly recommend

Yelp
Alba transports guests to an urbanite's Italian holiday. A restaurant where the food, ambiance, service is fantastic. They can work on the pace of the food so you don't feel overwhelmed and rushed. But beyond that the vibes are on point. Worth checking out. Cheers

Yelp
This place was absolutely divine! Interior was pretty and food did not disappoint. My friend and I decided to share their Focaccia as an appetizer (we had the one with whipped ricotta) and honestly, we couldn't stop eating it (and wanted more)! As for entrées, we decided try their pastas and they both tasted amazing. Overall, service was good and everything came pretty fast with less wait time (despite the restaurant being full). Would recommend, if you're in the area!

Yelp
Came shortly after opening on a Monday because my friend really wanted to get that elusive secret pizza. We didn't get the pizza. However that only meant that we got to try it some other things on the menu. Got the tuna tartare, focaccia and two pastas. If I had to come back to get one of those items again, it'd be the focaccia. I've never tasted focaccia with a crispy yet delicately thin crust that was soft and chewy. The creamed herbed ricotta that was served with the bread made it even better. I loved all the interior decoration, the natural light and the cream themed interior. One aspect that I didn't like was the fact that the menu was not very descriptive so it left me guessing what I was actually eating in my pasta. Service was friendly, Loved the uniforms.

Yelp
We were a bit concerned when we arrived for our 9:30 reservation and there was no available table or any that looked like it would be available any time soon and when we were offered drinks we had a feeling we were doomed. The restaurant was a pretty place with a full buzz! After 30 minutes our party of six was seated at a table for 5 and we were told that they were out of three apps. At this point we started laughing but alas, the servers brought over bread, two salads and two apps that we did not order. We did order food and we were pleased with the freshness and taste of everything was outstanding! As we were finishing our mains, a plate of lamb chops arrived. Because we were already running late for a midnight show, we had to skip coffee and dessert and we asked for our bill...to our surprise, we were told the dinner was on the house. It was so not necessary as they kept the drinks flowing and provided so much extra food. They far exceeded any expectation we had for making us wait for our table. It is not that common for places to really care about their diners but at Alba they went above and beyond. Since our experience we have told everyone to be prepared to be wowed by exceptional service and delicious food.

Yelp
I have been to Cucina Alba 3 times now and each time has been better than the last. I would recommend having a reservation unless you come to the restaurant around opening or plan to sit at the bar. This is a very popular restaurant with a lot of traction on social media so it can be challenging to get a table. They also have a bar that is first come-first served so you might get lucky and be able to grab a seat there. The staff is super helpful and transparent about timing and getting you a table which was great for the times that I went without a reservation. Beyond the service, the food is to die for! The agnolotti is my favorite dish on the menu that I have tried so far. The focaccia and whipped ricotta is a must from the appetizers. During my most recent visit, they had a orecchiette amatriciana with burrata special that was absolutely delicious. I have not had a bad dish at this restaurant and love to go before or after some time at Chelsea Piers Golf Club. The restaurant has a warm color palette with creams and oranges. It is light with both indoor and outdoor seating. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area or NYC.

Yelp
This review is for a weekend dinner. Overall, I enjoyed this place: great ambiance and good food. Had a reservation for 4 people and the table wasn't ready so we had to stand awkwardly by the bar for 20-25 minutes. This is a great spot for a date night, special occasion, or just a fun night with friends (though, I would not say this a party spot). Some fan favorites: -Calabrian Tuna Tartare: not too spicy at all. Fresh and tasty. -Panzanella: this was a surprising favorite. It's a must order. -Agnolotti: perfect amount of richness and truffle-ness. A nice balance if you also get a red sauce pasta. -Orecchiette: I'm not sure this is on the menu, but it's a must. It's a zesty red sauce pasta (no meat). The portion is HUGE - we split amongst 4 people. And the server literally uses giant scissors to cut the burrata and mix into the pasta.

Yelp
I would like to give this establishment 3.5 stars but I guess that is not an option. We ate here last night the restaurant was very nice and so was the service. Our server Eve was amazing good job Eve . The food however was underwhelming and frankly not worth the price. Also you don't get bread at the table at an Italian restaurant, I've never heard of such a thing. The lasagna reminded me of beef stroganoff or something, it definitely was not lasagna? And it was an epic $65 ... The sides were small and bland. Did not like the pesto at all left a weird after taste in my mouth bleh. The ravioli were pretty good 4.5 stars for ravioli. We probably should have listened to what our server recommended to us.

Shreya B.

Yelp
I quite enjoyed my meal here! Staff was so friendly and they were able to seat us right away despite being fairly full. We ordered the ravioli, zucchini squash, and focaccia to start and all were delicious. I think the zucchini squash was our favorite! We also ordered the lasagna and pesto pasta. I loved how many vegetarian options they had! I will say this is on the pricier side for the size you get but overall the amount of food we ordered was perfect for 3 people. I would definitely return if back in this area!

Yelp
Oh so chic. The perfect date restaurant. Gorgeous, attentive staff. Beautiful decor. Fantastic lighting. And the food is incredible. Seriously wonderful. We had pastas. Oh so so good. And we had the fried artichokes. Wonderful. The dirty gin martini with olive sublime. This is a perfect restaurant and I can't wait to go back. Don't hesitate. And the tiramisu is to die for.

Yelp
Me and my girlfriends wanted to try something new for dinner so we landed here. It's located in meatpacking, and on a lovely summer evening sitting outside is a must. The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived around 7pm. We were seated promptly and the entire staff is very courteous and friendly and warm. I did look at some good reviews prior so I had high expectations going here. We ordered a few dishes to share. We started with fried ravioli, eggplant Parmesan, and the octopus. All of the appetizers came out at the same time. The octopus was amazing - soft and mouthwatering, cooked to perfection. Everything else was good but the portions here are small so be mindful. It is also quite expensive, a steak can run you upwards of $300. For main we ordered a pasta dish called the Orrechiette All'Arrabbiata and shared that. It was decent but I was only tasting the overwhelming tomato sauce flavor and cheese and not much else. The pineapple margarita was excellent and I enjoyed two of them. We also had the broccolini which was actually very tasty. For desserts we got the pistachio gelato, semolina cake and tiramisu. The dessert portions were actually decent and it was delicious. The ambience inside the restaurant is beautiful as well. This is a nice spot for a birthday party or something of the sorts but as for the food and price points, there are many Italian restaurants you can try elsewhere. I feel this place has lots of hype on social media and that is the main draw over the actual food served.

Yelp
One of my new favorite Italian spots in the city! Despite being so far off to the West side, it's worth the trek. First thing you'll notice upon entering Alba, is how sleek and sceney the space is. The high ceilings and dim lit space adds a level of class that is missed by similarly styled Italian restaurants like Bad Roman.. which imo misses the mark. Ambiance aside, the food here is really really tasty. Our server was excellent, she checked in often and never made us feel rushed. She was extremely helpful in guiding us through the menu and providing her recommendations. It was a deliciously fantastic meal to help kick off the Holiday season. ANTIPASTI - Pane E Formaggio (focaccia, whipped ricotta) :: the bread was beyond delicious, fluffy and nicely seasoned. A must get! - Eggplant Parmigiana (ricotta) :: not my favorite dish of the night, but interesting flavor profile... lacked a little bit of salt - Artichokes Alla Giudia (roasted lemon, garlic) :: damn good! One of the best dishes of the night, nicely roasted artichokes packed with flavor INSALATE - Autumn Chopped :: really interesting mix of veggies and fruit (squash, apples), but it works!! Great combination of sweet and savory, the dressing was also out of this world PASTA - Rigatoni w/ Seafood :: red sauce rigatoni with chunks of shrimp, mussels and clams all in a red sauce. Nicely sauced, not over the top which allows the flavor of the seafood to rise to the top. The pasta was also cooked perfectly al dente. PRINCIPALI - Halibut (gremolata butter) :: Great way to end the meal, nicely cooked, finely seasoned and paired with some sort of vinegar drenched squash side. Combined together it help balance the dish. Really nicely done! DESSERT - Chocolate / Hazelnut Gelato & Citrus Sorbet :: no better way to end such a savory meal than with some delicious gelato/sorbet. Great palate cleanser and the quality was top notch. Apparently they get this from "L'arte del Gelato" at Chelsea Market just a few blocks away.. so taking points away for not making in-house. Nonetheless, damn good

Yelp
Had a lovely evening at Cucina Alba - we had the truffle pasta, the Long Island duck, pane e formaggio, and the zucchini flowers. The Long Island duck and pane e formaggio were the highlights of the dinner. The bread was warm, fluffy, and delicious. The duck was a perfect medium rare and was delicious. The pasta was not what we expected. Expected a more truffle flavor but it was rather sweet from the onions. Our service was great.

Yelp
Had the Gin Mare martini (fabulous) and the tomato salad and tuna tartare to start, lobster pasta and the chicken dish for mains. All were perfect and the staff was very helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Tried the orichietti for two - absolutely incredible a must get. Also this plus the bread with ricotta (which really is the best thing ever) are very filling.

Yelp
IMO, Cucina Alba lives up to the hype. The aesthetics are gorgeous. The restaurant was really thoughtfully designed. It's very dopamine chic with bright oranges and shades of pink and nude. The tables are comfortable and it wasn't overly crowded. We got there around 12pm for brunch on a Saturday. It was still quiet in the restaurant, but by the time we left at 2pm it was busy. We started with a bottle of Prosecco, pane e formaggio, and crespelle (kind of like a cheese blintz). For my main, I got the mozzarella in carrozza which was DELICIOUS. It's basically a breaded and fried sandwich filled with a runny egg, mozzarella, and tomato jam. It was amazing and should be your brunch must order! Overall, a really hip and swanky spot I'd love to return to for dinner. I saw everyone ordering the trofie pesto - I will need to try it on my next visit!

Yelp
Love this place! Great food and fast service. The star was definitely the agnolotti. The fettuccine bolognese and focaccia were also amazing. Also liked the escarole salad and Calabrian tuna tartare but the pasta and bread were the stars. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Love, love, loved my meal here recently. Usually the aesthetic, instagram-worthy, restaurants you see online are just that---aesthetic and instagram worthy with decent food but Cucina Alba is definitely not that. The focaccia bread with the whipped ricotta was unreal and the star of the show was this eggplant lasagna. It was absolutely amazing and I can't stop talking about it. Perfect seasoning, perfect texture, perfect everything. You couldn't even tell that there wasn't any meat. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to impress. Can't wait to be back.

Yelp
TLDR: A great spot for fresh appetizers and a pop of flavors! By far my favorite dish was the freshly baked focaccia with whipped ricotta- do yourself a favor and order this right off the bat. We also got the artichokes that were beautifully crispy and salty with a fresh lemon aioli. The agnolotti was recommended to us and though I enjoyed the texture and sauce, I wasn't the hugest fan of the filling because I don't generally love sweeter brown butter flavors. The eggplant parm was a miss for us but we were so impressed with our server taking our feedback and so nicely taking that off of our bill for us. Overall the service was so attentive and kind! We ordered the tiramisu for dessert but may have been too full to properly enjoy it. It was not too sweet and definitely packed a punch with the alcohol soak.

Yelp
Cucina Alba is the ULTIMATE dinning experience .... the food is exceptional & consistent & The Service is beyond ( Welcoming & Friendly ) BRAVO to Cucina Alba you all ROCK with Food , Service & experience. Please open up in LA

Yelp
10pm reservation on Friday night. It was absolutely packed... I try 2-3 new restaurants in NYC per month and this is hands down one of the most beautiful restaurants in the city. We got the ravioli, octopus, 2 orders of the focaccia, eggplant parmigiana, spinach, orchiette, and duck. Their white tiramisu with a side of caramel gelato is a must.... can't wait to return!

Yelp
Solid food but it depends what you get. Is this place necessarily hype-proportionate? I don't really think so but the meal was still enjoyable. BLACK TRUFFLE POACHED BURRATA If you're a fan of burrata you will def enjoy this. We also got the bread appetizer to have something to pair with it since the restaurant itself doesn't do bread service. Unfortunate circumstance. I like burrata but not in love with it so this was just ok for me. The cherry tomatoes add a nice brightness and pop of texture in an otherwise creamy, smooth milky texture and experience. PESTO - this was very savory, and I can't believe I'm gonna say this but too savory? I've had lots of pesto and have made it multiple times and something about the flavor was just off - it starts to taste like pesto but then it tapers and becomes this strong savoriness or some other flavor that overpowers anything else. Also I don't believe that straight noodles (a pasta type with no ridges) is the best pairing for a sauce like pesto. The texture was a little overcooked and thus too soft. AGNOLOTTI ** this was really good and had multiple dimensions of flavor including the truffle but also some sweetness and savoriness. Agnolotti was done al dente and had a satisfying chewiness. If you come here I would get this.

Yelp
I sat at the chefs counter and let me tell you it is INCREDIBLE to watch these chefs work. They are so precise, so clean, so professional, and so detailed, you can tell by watching that they really take care and pride in what they are making and it really comes out in the food. The flavors are just as precise and clean as the way they prepare everything. There isn't this EXTRA that everyone tried to do. Simple, precise, clean, beautiful delicious. They have a small menu, I watched almost every dish on the menu being made and it is so perfect. Not overwhelming options means the chefs can focus on what they are actually making. Not one dish made was rushed, they even seemed relaxed in this kitchen, even though u can see how hard they are working. Will definitely be back to try the menu.

Yelp
Highlights the bread so light and airy the whipped cheese dip was amazingly thick and flavorful. Lowkey the best thing weird for bread. The short rib was so juicy and flavorful soo tender and succulent definite highlight. Steak wad not as good The truffle pasta had a strong truffle flavor. Very small portion tho kinda disappointing but the sauce was good. Carb pasta very good portion and saucy. The eggplant parm was amazing no meat but it had a strong meat flavor so textured and flavored. The vibes of the restaurant were immaculate very good lounge vibes nice and cozy a little too dark. Service is very attentive and nice a little too much so I wished for a little more privacy with my party. Pro tip-**** do not bring a cake for a birthday they will not allow you to cut it lowkey ruined the night the waiters /managment had some confusion it seems ****

Yelp
Excellent. Great food, drinks, vibe, celeb sightings, and service. Come here for the outstanding food and stay here for the people watching. For the food, the ricotta is a must! You can't come here and not get it. The chopped salad is unique and pairs well with all of the carbs. I'm going to assume all pastas here are incredible but for now I can only say that the Agnolotti and Lasagna are 10/10. I can't wait to come back to try everything else! Would recommend for any occasion.

Yelp
Literally my favorite Italian food. I've been recommending it to everyone. Our server was fantastic and she explained everything and thank goodness she told us about the specials because holy crap that was the best sauce! Ask for the specials and get what the server recommends! Ambiance is so pretty and well decorated, such a nice place!

Yelp
Pretty restaurant and decor. Drinks were decent. The food was ok honestly. The best thing we had there was the focaccia bread and whipped ricotta. Server was warm and nice. I think for the price point you can get better Italian food elsewhere in the city. If I go back it will be for drinks only.

Yelp
New and trendy spot with beautiful decor. We thought the service was a bit slow and it was hard to actually get our server to come by and take our order or cards to pay. The food itself was mostly hits for us. Definitely get the focaccia with ricotta, which sounds simple but was done super well - especially the seasonings on the ricotta (think they had some lavender in there). We also loved the agnolotti. It has a beautiful truffle sauce which pairs with the caramelized onion filling so well. The dishes we were disappointed by included the chopped salad. It didn't taste like a particularly good combination and we were excited by the prospect of guanciale but it tasted more like those store bought bacon bits. The fusilloni was also just alright. It was wayyyy too smoked for our taste and completely overpowered any lemon flavor. One of my friends also had a big chunk of what we think was eggshell in her pasta (based on the crunch when she bit into it). I will say we were impressed with the portion sizes of their pasta. While I wish they had meat pasta options, we loved the agnolotti enough to get over it. I think you can have a lovely light pasta meal here or spend $$$$ to have some heavier mains, which we did not opt for.

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place!! Food was delicious, staff was so friendly and amazing! A great location too, the ambiance was so inviting, loved the dim lighting! We sat at the bar top and it was so fun to be immersed in what was going on behind the scenes in the kitchen as well!! Overall it was a 10/10 experience. We got the Focaccia Della Casa to start, Then had the lobster spaghetti and the linguine primavera

Yelp
If you rated the food because they serve cliches then it should be highly rated. Unfortunately I came for the food. I never trust restaurants where owners have shoes with no socks. Even though the space is pleasant - reminds me of what I want an airport lounge at JFK feels like. Unfortunately the only thing high on the food front was the price for flavorless entrees. When someone pulled out scissors to cut my burrata I wanted to take it from them and stab them. Ridiculous gimmick and I am an adult who knows how to cut my own food. I don't take pictures.

Yelp

Yelp
Cucina Alba is in my opinion, a great restaurant to add to your culinary bucket list. The food was extremely flavorful. The truffle pasta was cooked perfectly. The wagyu dish was also tender and soft. As for their staple burrata and focaccia, this was indeed the stand out dish that you must order. The service was great as everyone was polite and attentive. Our party had arrived slightly later than our reservation, and yet they still accommodated us without question. The ambiance was unique, and chic. I would say that the entire restaurant was Instagram worthy. The lighting and music was a vibe. Overall, great restaurant. The serving sizes were on the smaller side, but this is still a worthy dining experience for you and your friend

Yelp
You must go. The staff is fantastic. oliver and jonathon were so nice and attentive. The decor and ambiance gorgeous. The food was absolutely divine. The branzino was delicate, impeccably fresh, and perfectly balanced, with a juicy finish. The Calabrian tuna had a buttery, velvety texture that melted in the mouth, and its freshness was exceptional. Oh and you can't go without having a piece of their semolina cake with berries... in fact go simply for a slice. In transparency it's been over a month since i had my first piece of their semolina cake and im still day dreaming about one more bite. just go:)

Yelp
I was pretty hyped to get a dinner table here on a saturday night! But, so so disappointing Lets start with the fact that I had dining room reservation, and upon arrival they tried to sit us at the kitchen counter. I told them um yeah I had a reservation for the dining room, and they took some time and apologized (later learned from a group of 3 women that they paid the host $100 to get a table, so must be how this place works- displace reservations awkwardly unless they muster up the energy to say something to get their original seating). Would have been nice to be treated something for trying to sit us at the kitchen, but I guess the only thing "luxurious" about this place is the price tag. No bread at the table to start, interesting considering literally all italian restaurants offer that. The focaccia was very delicious, and the meal started off pretty nice. Burrata was okay, nothing special, esp for $29. The funghi porcini was not that good at all, and was served pretty cold. Their take on the Carbone style rigatoni was disappointing too, also served cold. Chicken alla diavola wasnt anything special either. Dont mind high prices if the food warrants it, but considering the bread was the best thing that night...not a good sign. Dessert was some neopolitan kind of thing, clumsy and no attention was given to it/just thrown together. Overall, disappointing. The host/hostess are paid for by patrons that dont have reservations. The wait staff is inconsistent. The prices are too high for food that is very overrated. Ambience is nice, but not enough to overcome such a disappointing evening. Save your money and ESPECIALLY dont pay the host to get a seat.

Yelp
Alvin, Yumi and Evan stole the show Welcoming warm service and hospitality. Dreamt about the heirloom tomato, fettuccine bolognese and agnolotti. Compliments to the chef!
