Best New Restaurants in Atlanta Right Now | Eater Atlanta

"The newest spot by the team behind Brush Sushi, Lucky Star, and Momonoki, is now open in Atlanta’s Perimeter at High Street. Cuddlefish is a hand roll (think open-faced sandwiches but sushi) eatery with Japanese and Taiwanese flavors. A temaki tasting menu at the chef’s counter is also available. Be sure to ask for sake suggestions here — the Funaguchi Gold is an easy, classic single-serve can ($14), and the Ohmine Shuzou 3 Grain bottle ($130) is a rare find worth savoring. A coffee and bakery section, led by ChingYao Wang, offers pastries and coffee every day. High Street will also soon be home to a new location of Varuni Napoli pizzeria." - Henna Bakshi

Tucked away in the suburbs of Atlanta, Cuddlefish is a dual hand roll restaurant and aesthetic pastry/coffee shop. For a sushi and sweet treat lover, this place is heaven! The sushi restaurant itself touts a made-in-front-of-you model as you order your hand rolls. These were delightful with a side of a drink or just casual conversation. The non-alcoholic Apple Sidra was amazing, and I recommend it with the matcha. Don't knock it until you try it. The coffee shop is in the same building and pastries can be ordered to your table. Dangerous! We were there for a weekday late afternoon lunch, so there were only a few seats and service was still a bit slow. However, we had a great experience and will absolutely be back when we're in town!

We did the Temaki Tasting. I highly recommend because you can try a little bit of everything. I had a couple favorites in there like the Shrimp Katsu Temaki, Crispy Spicy Tuna Temaki, Taiwanese Chicken Nuggets and Crab and Scallops Temaki. The server recommended this sake because it’s popular. It was easy to drink but if you don’t like sweet, try their other options. They have an array of sake, wines, and beers that are displayed. It was a busy night as it was their soft opening so we waited a little and got to take a look at their menu. We were well taken care of. Our server recommended drinks and food which was nice! The atmosphere is spacious, clean, elegant. You walk in and you’ll see the temaki bar to the left and cafe to the right. Their lattes sound good but we didnt get to try them yet. Their breads are a must try! They have an assortment of flavors. All yummy. Try out Cuddlefish for a delectable meal. What a treat this was!

Very cool vibe! Excellent and very attentive service. Our table was kept free of clutter and empty dishes. Glasses always full. We were a table of 4 and initially thought the very pretty, very fresh food dishes to be on the smaller side yet we felt satisfied when we left. The ambiance and comfortable seating ,encouraged us to spend more time on conversation and trying different items. We enjoyed every bite. The cocktails were also unique and very good. My only regret was that I didn’t buy the t-shirt. Great job Cuddlefish team!

Google
Thomas, Kyle, and Jasmine were fantastic. High quality sushi with flare! A definite must try is the wagyu roll and the saki cocktails. The miso soup is the best I've found anywhere as they use a fresh seafood broth base which adds so many levels of flavor. Book a reservation now and thank me later!

The goods: - Cute and trendy design! - Nice outside patio Food we ordered: - spicy tuna tartare 3stars : the sweet potato chips were SOGGY. - tempura appetizer 3 stars : fine tempura - signature set : chili avocado was literally guacamole. Salmon tataki was my fav. 3 stars - toro scallion : see picture. 2 stars - tuna jalapeno : 3 stars The service : - made reservation at peak hour and had to wait 30 mins for a table. - table service - waiter was nice but pulling teeth to get any table service like soy sauce. Had to ask the table runner to get the soy sauce. - very sloooooow service. we literally got the last of our signature set 1HR into the dinner. Would I go back to try more hand rolls? No. I’ll try the cafe. Until next time

Google
I was very excited to try this place but as a restaurant that specializes in hand rolls I’d expect them to be better than below average. Was very dissatisfied. 1. They need better Nori. No crunch or structure for hand rolls causing them to fall apart and sogginess! 2. Too much rice, which also causes the hand rolls to fall apart 3. The sushi chefs are too focused on stuffing the roll sometimes less is more. Lacking flavor. Other than the handrolls being a disaster, lacking flavor and structure I really enjoyed the edamame bisque and tomato appetizer. Service was also good! Beautiful atmosphere, good service, bad handrolls? I hope you guys can improve so I can give it another visit.

I went with my girlfriends for a dinner, we loved the unique variety of the selections. The food was delicious and served professionally. Everybody at the restaurant was friendly and attentive. We are definitely going to come again. I also came on a different occasion during the day just for a coffee and pastry ,and the desserts from the coffee section were good too.

Foul fish... I normally don't write bad reviews, but people can get really sick here. I was so excited to try Jason Liang's new restaurant and came for lunch during their soft opening. Interior and plating- beautiful; hostess and server- friendly and professional; food- reason for concern. I ordered their poke bowl because it had my favorite fish (yellow tail, salmon, and tuna) and I didn't want to order 5 temaki at the temaki bar. The poke looked cute, but when I took my first bite, it tasted overwhelming of sushi rice vinegar followed by some chili based sauce masking bad (if not already spoiled) tuna. I really hate wasting food, so I tried to at least eat the avocado, salmon, and yellow tail. I got through half and felt ill. The server was super sweet and tried to help me, but I just wanted to leave. I understand if the cuts of poke bowl are ugly cuts and maybe even the brown parts of salmon, but don't put food that's about to spoil into people's food. Really disappointed and expected better quality. Will not return even to their café half.

Yelp
Cuddlefish offers a great ambiance with plenty of natural sunlight, making it a pleasant place to relax and enjoy your meal. We didn't have a reservation, and the wait was about 40 minutes, but there's a public parking lot conveniently located down the road, which makes parking easy. If you're a fan of watching the chefs in action, I highly recommend sitting at the handroll bar. At the bar, you get one tamaki at a time, allowing you to savor each one individually, while a regular table will bring you the set all at once. I personally preferred the bar because it was fascinating to see the chefs prepare the rolls right in front of you. The tamakis were packed with toppings, though the downside is that they can be a bit messy...when you take a bite, everything tends to fall out, so definitely be careful not to get it on your clothes! My favorites were the American Wagyu and the Crab & Scallop, both were flavorful and well-prepared. However, some of the other fish options were a bit bland in comparison. The Tuna Tartare came with crispy sweet potato chips, which I loved. The chips paired really well with the tuna. Unfortunately, for the Black Sesame Tiramisu Latte, the black sesame flavor wasn't as strong as I hoped, and it mostly just tasted like a regular latte. I wouldn't order it again, but the overall experience was still enjoyable.

Yelp
I had really high hopes for this place because I kept seeing it all over my Instagram and TikTok feed however, I was a little bit disappointed in the food. I felt like the flavors were all a little bit off and only one out of the five hand rolls I ordered were enjoyable. We also got their Matcha as well and I will say it tasted mostly like milk. However, I do wanna give it three stars because the ambience inside is extremely airy and bright and a very good vibe. I also know that they're a relatively new restaurant so I believe I can get a lot better.

Yelp
I've tried this place twice and both times were disappointing. My frst visit was at the cafe and I got the tiramisu latte and my friend got the match tiramisue latte. Not only were both drinks overpriced and small, but it also didn't taste like tiramisu. The tiramisu latte was just chocolate milk (similar to Milo) and the matcha tiramisu had no hint of tiramisu. My second visit was for dinner at the restaurant. I made a Saturday dinner reservation as I expected it to be busy. Even Resy process felt unnecessarily strict. I got daily text and email notifications and they even had a $20 per person cancellation fee. When I arrived, the restaurant was completely empty. There was no hostess in sight, and after standing around awkwardly, the only staff, the chef at the sashimi bar, waved me over to sit at the bar. The server was also nowhere to be found, so the chef ended up taking my order and then ran to the kitchen to find someone. I ordered the poke bowl (the sushi rolls looked too messy) and tried two cocktails - the GA Peach and the Strawberry Yuzu. Unfortunately, neither tasted like their names. I got very faint hints of fruit flavor, it was basically plain sake. The poke bowl was small and drenched in soy sauce, which overpowered everything. For all the hype I expected much better.

Yelp
I came here with a girlfriend on a late morning/early afternoon on Saturday. We ended up sitting outside which was nice at first but once the sun came out it was a bit unbearable lol. We wanted to order strawberry matchas but their menu is a bit confusing so they couldn't really make those. The only type of matcha they had was with jasmine tea and I'm just not a fan of jasmine tea so I opted out. My friend got the tiramisu latte and I ended up getting the caramel banana latte. Both were ok nothing too exciting. For food I got the crab and scallop and crispy spicy tuna temaki. Both were pretty tasty just super messy to eat. I preferred the crab and scallop a little more. My friend got the spicy tuna and shrimp katsu temaki and she liked hers as well. Overall this was a cool place that I might try again but not gonna rush back here.

Yelp
Cuddlefish is a cute new sushi restaurant with a nice cafe attached! We had dinner plans with friends but I decided to come earlier to enjoy the cafe and read a bit. The cafe section is a pretty tiny with only 2 or 3 tables indoors, so I don't think it's a good place to read or work, but I loved the drink and the pastry! The matcha there is sooo good! I love how they mix it with jasmine tea - it might be one of the best matcha combos I've had! The pastry was also really good too. After our friends got there we went over to the restaurant for dinner. We had the popcorn chicken and edamame for apps - they were pretty standard, and then we all got our own hand rolls. The rolls have instructions on how to unwrap, but I feel like we still had to unfold very carefully to not spill everywhere. The fish is super fresh and extremely filling so I loved that part too! Out of the rolls I tried my favorites were the salmon tataki and crispy tuna. I also liked the sweet potato katsu, which my fiance got. The service there was also great! Since the restaurant is run where everyone splits all of the tables, we always had someone checking in on us. Overall I'll definitely be back for the cafe! I loved how the rolls tasted, but I'm not sure if this will be a place I come back to often since the rolls were messy and hard to eat.

Yelp
I only came for cafe service not the restaurant so that's my review. The cafe is beautiful inside. I came in the morning when they opened and everything was nice and clean. It's cute decor and was all set up for lunch. There's some nice tables inside and outside and it's located in a pretty area. Note there's not parking right outside and you have to go the garage but it's free and easy garage parking and a short walk. I got the mocha cinnamon roll because it looked great and it definitely wasn't a typical cinnamon roll. It was delicious and fresh. I also got the matcha with strawberry puree. This I was good too but not as impressive or unique as the pastry. The cashier was very friendly in helping my decide what to get. It seems they also have a rewards points program. I'd definitely come back again to try more and relax.

Yelp
Very beautiful space! We got the jasmine matcha latte, tiramisu latte and a matcha tiramisu latte. The jasmine matcha latte was pretty fragrant but the matcha flavor wasn't a strong. The tiramisu latte was so good! Fragrant and strong coffee. The tiramisu matcha latte was also okay, it was not as fragrant and strong in matcha flavor but the tiramisu was good. We also got a salmon hand roll to try and it was pretty good, but definitely on the smaller side for the price.

Yelp
Overall OK experience but nothing extraordinary that will make us come back again. And please loose the soy sauce spray bottle. It's not practical and also awkward. Sweet Potato Chips - 3/5 good but nothing extraordinary Garlic Black Pepper Edamame - 3/5 just OK Tempura Bowl - 3.5/5 Classic Set - 4/5 American Wagyu - 3.5/5 Chili Avocado - 4/5 Matcha Tiramisu - 4/5 Chocolate Chip cookie - 4/5 Egg custard taro - 3/5 : Food - 3.5/5 Service - 4/5 Ambiance - 3.5/5

Yelp
Run don't walk on this gem! Part coffee shop part sushi bar this place has it all. They have lots of incredible pastries to choose from, various specialty lattes, and matchas. They have a full bar and specialize in sake cocktails. They also specialize in hand rolls and are assembled to perfection. The staff is all really friendly and helpful too!

Yelp
Our waitress forgot that we ordered and came back to ask us if we were ready to order. The only reason I mention this is because I had her the first time I visited and she kept forgetting to bring things we ordered. We also did not have any water glasses at the table and had to get our own silverware after asking twice. The food tasted pretty good. The chicken nuggets were a bit too salty and the wagyu on the roll was over cooked. Not a lot of drink options and only had cold sake. The yellow tail and salsa was the best thing I had. Not sure if I would go back since the second time was a miss too. It was a clean looking place though.

Yelp
~~FOOD~~ Although the food was good I thought overall the menu was inauthentic and uncreative and not worth the price. The quality of the fish was average compared to other handroll bars in the Atlanta area. I did like that they also have a cafe and bakery menu though and I would come back to just to try the Matcha Latte as the one at their sister restaurant, Lucky Star is really good. ~~SERVICE~~ Although I was sitting at the temaki bar, I felt as though service was slow and not very personable. Typically I love sitting at the sushi bar as the chefs tend to be super friendly and personable but I just didn't feel that way here. The temaki chef was nice, but I felt like I had to flag his attention to place and order or get refill on drinks. ~~AMBIANCE~~ I loved the ambiance of this place it was super well lit and cute with a large amount of outdoor seating and a decent sized indoor seating and temaki bar seats. The restaurant wasn't too loud and the parking was free at the retail parking deck. ~~OVERALL~~ Cuddlefish wasn't bad, but I definitely had higher expectations from a restaurant that is in the same group as O by Brush, a One Michelin Starred restaurant.

Yelp
Check out Michelin-starred Chef Jason Liang's new restaurant @cuddlefish. They specialize in temaki (hand rolls) where you can order a la carte or do the temaki tasting for $95. There's also a coffee shop w/ Japanese inspired coffee & pastries. We enjoyed our interactive experience at the temaki bar w/ our Chef Jovi.

Yelp
Great service and even better matcha! The ambiance was very calm and chill on the Thursday afternoon that I went.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing. Everyhting was so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend. Will be back!

Yelp
ONLY reviewing the cafe portion as I didn't get any food. Stopped by right at opening and this space is so beautiful! Beautifully designed and spotless, including the restroom. You know it's a great place if the restroom is beautiful. The employee was very friendly and I LOVED my drink. I ordered the banana chocolate signature latte hot, and it wasn't too sweet! Perfect texture and flavor, but it wasn't $7 so on the pricier side. There's street parking if you drive past the restaurant to your left or drive to where the covered parking lot is to keep your car cool on a hot day. No validation required.

Yelp
Awesome spot in the newly manufactured High Street area near Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody. This place has two distinct sections: a restaurant featuring Japanese / Taiwanese mainstays with an emphasis on hand rolls (temaki) and a coffee shop with East Asian flair. Beautiful, bright, immaculately clean, and airy, both sections are pleasant and comfortable. My dining partners and I went for lunch at the temaki bar which was a wonderful experience. We told the chef behind the bar the type of hand roll we wanted and he made it -- simple as that. Highlights included the shrimp katsu, spicy crispy tuna, and yellowtail salsa -- all of which were fresh beyond expectation with warm rice, crisp nori wrappers, and high-quality fish with house-made toppers. The spicy tuna tare-tare appetizer with sweet potato chips was divine. Service was prompt, friendly, personal, and happy to accommodate our infant in a stroller. For 2 people with soft drinks, an appetizer, and 7 hand rolls between them, you're looking at ~$50/person -- fair for the high-touch experience you receive alongside high quality food and service. 5/5 we are excited to take our families here when they visit from out of town. We will return to try drinks from the cafe as well as everything looked beautiful!

Yelp
Overall, not my favorite place, and nothing stuck out. There's better places to spend your money at. Food: Poke - 5/10: The waitress recommended this over the temaki, so I tried it. The portion was small, the rice was soaked in soy sauce which overwhelms the fish, and there was not enough fish. There was salmon, tuna, and yellowtail in the bowl, and they were fresh. This was not worth the price in my opinion. Matcha tiramisu latte - 4/10: This was recommended to me over the caramel banana latte. However, there was barely any matcha flavor, the cream cheese and milk was all I tasted, and the drink overall didn't mix well together. Service: Nice people and clean place. Food came out relatively fast, but you do have to catch someone's attention to get a refill or ask for anything. This restaurant feels comparable to its sister locations. Ambiance: Beautiful place with plenty of free parking and indoor/outdoor seating. This would be a place for lunches or a quick grab. Aesthetics are nice in both dishes and the restaurant itself.

Yelp
Amazing spot with such a clean aesthetic. It has an attached cafe which I didn't try this time, but highly recommend if you wanted a quick latte or pastry. Service was fantastic, food was amazing (probably best hand rolls I've had so far in GA, but I've only tried one spot). Parking is a little tricky. There are some spots really close by but there were signs that said "15 minute max. Vehicle will get towed" but nothing happened to my friend's car, so park at your own risk! I parked at the deck right next to the building that Cuddlefish is located in and that was free.

Yelp
Cuddlefish was the perfect Friday restaurant. It was a little busy, so make plans to go ASAP before it blows up! We had a reservation, highly recommend. We sat at the bar (also highly recommend), so we could watch the chefs prepare the temaki in front of us. The hostess and our waiter were very nice and attentive and always made sure we were taken care of! We ordered the crab & scallop dip, the classic set, and the signature set. This was definitely enough food to be filling but not weigh you down. The crab and scallop dip was excellent, the rice chips were very crunchy (maybe a little bit too crunchy), but overall very tasty! We loved both the temaki sets, but preferred the signature. The restaurant is super cute, in a great area, and has some free parking! Overall, I highly recommend Cuddlefish and will be telling everyone I know to try it!

Adorable restaurant in a really cool area. Kind staff. Wide variety of yummy treats and drinks.

Yelp
I tried the standard set. It was a unique hand roll experience and concept with veggie and meat options. It was delicious! They have a cute bakery and different drinks! I recommend going with friends. Unfortunately, The service was quite slow and they incorrectly gave us our bill. I thought jt was ok overall.

Yelp
first time having temaki, but won't be my last! it's kind of like sushi in a taco form where seaweed is the shell. the seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious! i'm picky when it comes to quality fish, particularly served fresh. even the seaweed was great- best i've ever had. all flavors put together artfully. some of the takes on flavors were super fun. they even put the soy sauce in a spray bottle. my banana caramel latte was DELICIOUS- i can't even put the taste into words. i need to come back and give the pastries more attention!

Shaina D.

Yelp
My husband and I went to cuddlefish last night for our anniversary dinner, we opted for temaki tastings, we were looking forward to this, but unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations, tomato salad is meh, mushroom temaki was extra extra salty, avocado temaki literally didn't have any taste, and the wagyu temaki was very okay too! And lastly we ordered the teriyaki bowl and sent it back after one bite because it was just not good!

Camila A.

Yelp
We went back to Cuddlefish to try out their Temakis, and it was such a great experience! We ordered the signature set along with the wagyu and shiitake temaki. All of them were incredibly fresh and flavorful. We also tried the poke, and it did not disappoint; super fresh and beautifully seasoned. The tempura was well-prepared and crispy, though a bit on the greasier side for my personal taste. Still, if you're a tempura fan, you'll probably enjoy it! we'll definitely be back for more!

Yelp
I loved the concept for this restaurant. Mostly sushi hand rolls. All fresh and simply presented. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Cuddlefish is a 10/10! The service, ambiance and food were all great. I ordered the signature set to try out a few different hand rolls and loved them. My favorites were the Shrimp Katsu and Yellowtail & Salsa. Highly recommend sitting at the bar and watching the chef create the rolls! Can't wait to go back.

Apollo P.

Yelp
Food tastes great and it's pleasant to sit inside. Unfortunately the ordering is designed to make sure you have to fill up on cheap ingredients. You have to order exactly three at a time and they have to be from specific areas of the menu. For a premium price you get a deeply sub-premium dining experience. Service was good but they do not even allow you to place orders till you finish your last roll. Ultimately they nickel and dime you the entire time.

James R.

Yelp
Was here for an early-ish dinner Saturday night, no real wait which was surprising. There's street parking and parking available in a nearby lot. The servers were nice and attentive. We got crab oyster dip and a spicy tuna dip, both were very good. We got the temaki nori wrap, they have pre fixed combos that you can get or just mix and match on your own. There's a nice variety from raw fish to meat based choices. They also have several alcohol options. Overall, an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to coming again.

Debra S.

Yelp
Wow! Our first experience eating Tamaki was amazing. Food is definitely delicious and fun. Service is terrific - ask for Erica and her team. You will learn how to eat Tamaki and love it. Try the Crab Scallion dip and fall in love. Desserts need improvement.

Brooke P.

Yelp
Amazing food, service, and experience. We got the tasting and everything was delicious. Super unique experience for an affordable price. Special shout to Lani and Sian for making our experience so enjoyable!

Yelp
I came here with my fiancé during the weekday for lunch, and it was for the most part empty/ not busy. The decor was nice and everything looked clean. We ordered the Taiwanese chicken, standard set and signature set. I thought for the most part all the food tasted great and the seafood was fresh. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken was fresh and crispy, I just found it a little bland and hoped they had a spicy seasoning, which unfortunately they did not. The main part that upset me was for the standard set there was cucumber in almost every temaki(which just seemed like a cheap filler to me), and where which one of the temaki is literally just cucumber, rice, and a sweet sauce. For $28 I would have expected each temaki to be a bit more unique, but it felt like there was a lack of effort in this set (the other temakis being a spicy tuna, a mayo-y crab and tuna, and a fried sweet potato temaki with katsu sauce and rice). The signature set had a better value to me as each temaki was unique and flavorful with having different ingredients in each temaki, although it is more expensive than the standard set at $32. Another reason I gave 3 stars was the set did not even satiate me, the portion is so small and even after eating the starter and the entire set I was still left hungry. I ended up ordering a dessert from the cafe as they seemed like they offered interesting flavors, in which I ordered the carrot cake mochi Madeleine sandwhich, and I was disappointed by how tiny the dessert was for $7. Overall they had unique and flavorful options, but I felt like it was not worth the cost due to the small portions, and I do not recommend getting the standard set until they provide a variety that is more effortful (or greatly reduced in price). Also in comparison to standard sushi rolls typically ranging $14-28, I find those more filling than the 5 temakis provided in the set at a cheaper cost ($32 for the signature set).

Yelp
We want to send a gigantic thank you to #cuddlefishatl on High Street for making Sheila's milestone birthday such a memorable experience. Casual dining with all elegant qualities. They bent over backwards for us. The food is very authentic, great quality, beautiful presentation with impeccable service. This went beyond our expectations. We will be back soon!

Yelp
Came here with my husband as soon as they opened today and was amazed with the pastries and drinks, the barista with gold necklaces was very patient and helpful with describing the drinks and pastries to my husband who is blind. I will definitely Be coming back only complaint I have is the barista not having name tags lol. Atmosphere is so amazing we will have to come back and try the Tamaki tasting. The banana caramel Latte is by far the best I've had

Sam O.

Yelp
my first time last night - big disappointed must say the place is beautiful and the service was good . i order the poke to start ...a lot of rice small fish portion. i then ordered the Tamaki set -signature set . beside the fact that it was loaded with a lot of different different veg and spices on the top (over kill) and way to much rice ,what bothered me was the plastic rap surrounded the hand roll , i really had to fight to take it off ) and it will more likely fall apart before u can eat it . no second visit for me.

Tina K.

Yelp
We were over in the area and thought we would give them a try. We didn't know really what kind of food it was, just the place looked nice on the outside. The food was incredible! This might be our new favorite restaurant. Decor was nicely decorated. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend!!

Abigail E.

Yelp
The food is AMAZE!!!!!! I love the tuna poke bowl and the rolls r so so good and fresh. I personally don't love sake, so the cocktails weren't for me. they don't have a whole lot of other options for alcoholic drinks, but the food makes up for it. The service is great too. I do think the servers could use a little more speed in checking back with tables, but they're providing great service when they do. The coffee and pastries are also so delicious. I love love love this place

Neda Z.

Yelp
Very bad service and food was disappointing and overpriced! One small piece of sushi is 9-25 dollars? Why? What kind of highway robbery is this? It's also very simple to make, requires no talents or efforts like regular traditional sushi rolls. The guy literally slapped some fish on rice and put it on top of seaweed sheet. You'd get far better value and quality at just about any other sushi restaurant!! The tuna didn't even taste fresh...was kind of fishy tasting. And I've been to Japan so I know quality fish! The only ok thing was the seaweed they used and wagyu "roll". The iced lattes were also ok but small for the price and amount of ice. Took two sips and was finished. The pastries tasted sooooo old and super dry! Basically stale with some fresh cream on top They were inedible yuck! Probably days or even weeks-old pastries we were forced to eat. By far the worst thing we had. Not to mention the obnoxious servers who came every minute to ask for our order when we were still clearly browsing the menu and trying to relax and unwind and have a chat. It's not like we were taking up a high-demand table during a dinner rush! The place was practically EMPTY, yet they hovered like we were on a ticking clock. It completely ruined the vibe and made the whole experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. The server even had the audacity to act all pissed. Never coming back.
