Cuisine de Garden Chiangmai

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the tasting menu at the chef’s table, and it was truly exceptional. From this vantage point, I could watch the entire team at work — their coordination was seamless, professional, and genuinely inspiring. There was a real sense of harmony in the kitchen, and it added an extra layer of appreciation to the meal. Each course was beautifully presented and thoughtfully composed, showing a clear sense of balance and intention. The dishes highlighted fresh, local ingredients and offered a creative fusion of Thai and Western flavors that felt both familiar and exciting. The pacing of the meal was perfect, allowing time to savor each dish. The service was impeccable — attentive without ever feeling intrusive — and every detail was handled with care. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience that combined culinary artistry, local inspiration, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended.

Came here with the fam in May 2023 and took me a while to post this. This is probably the best meal we had when we visited Thailand (Chiangmai, Bangkok, Phuket). Very innovative dishes away from the city center. It was our first meal in Thailand so we were fighting jetlag, but all 4 of us agreed this is most memorable. I would definitely return in the future. Just had my second visit to Cuisine de Garden in Chiang Mai, and I must say — the evolution over the past year and a half is remarkable. The food has grown more mature, confident, and conceptually focused. Chef Nan clearly has a deep understanding of flavor metrix and the mouthfeel concept — beautifully demonstrated in dishes like the salt-cured fish with granita, where temperature and texture contrast are handled with finesse. Though the foundation is New Nordic, the cuisine leans heavily on Thai ingredients, elevated through European technique, offering genuinely exciting and rare flavor profiles that are hard to come by elsewhere. The ambiance is excellent, supported by a high-quality sound system and a curated playlist that subtly enhances the dining rhythm. The wine list may be compact, but selections are well-priced and thoughtfully chosen. Service is polished, warm, and well above its price point — a rare find in this segment. A sincere congratulations to the team. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Chiang Mai. Wishing you continued success and creative energy ahead.

Cuisine de Garden is a rare gem. Located only a few minutes from the center of Chiang Mai, this under-rated restaurant has everything: brilliant food (varied, creative, offering an impressive balance in tastes), great service (attentive, proactive, passionately led by the owners) and a beautiful setup (Nordic style, with plenty of room between tables, allowing a very personal experience). If this restaurant would be in a large metropolis, you would have to wait for months to get a table and pay double the price. If you visit Chiang Mai, don't miss it. If you live in Chiang Mai, visit often (the menu is completely revamped with every season).

A perfect blend of creative cuisine, welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service. The dishes are not only beautifully presented but also packed with incredible flavors that delight the palate. Every detail, from the ambiance to the attentive staff, makes dining here an experience to remember!

Highly recommended. One of the best chef tables I’ve ever been to. Very reasonably priced, and each dish was uniquely delicious. The wine menu is also incredible. I will definitely come back here again.

The journey to the restaurant is as intriguing as the one culinary one we are about to embark. A dimly lit trail of stone path leads to an illuminated doorway. Simple minimalistic designed interiors. After a brief intro of its food philosophy, our 10 course degustation menu meal begins with ingredients of each course fully pointed out; all locally sourced produce. It's a remarkable journey that teases the taste buds with the different seafood coupled with local vegetables and herbal leaves. Exquisite drinks too. Wonderful host that makes the 1½ dining a memorable experience.

The food was excellent! The staff was very welcoming. We took one vegetarian menu and one regular menu and the food was exceptional. We had a great time and will definitely come back here again.
