Culinaria de Gustibus Bistro

This was an amazing gastronomic journey that left us with only positive impressions and emotions. We highly recommend visiting Florence during the Christmas season and definitely dining at this restaurant for a Christmas dinner. It’s cozy, delicious, warm, and delightful! My boyfriend and I chose this place completely by chance and decided to make a reservation. When we arrived, instead of a classic menu, we were offered a special Christmas menu with several courses to choose from, including fish and meat options. We decided to try both, and we didn’t regret it for a second. The flavor combinations were something we had never experienced before! Imagine shrimp tartare on a bed of the creamiest ricotta, marinated rabbit thigh with mashed potatoes, or sea bass fillet with soaked cherries and green sauce. It was absolutely unforgettable! I could go on describing all the dishes we enjoyed that evening, but it’s better to visit and experience it for yourself. What makes this place truly special, though, are the people. Tommy is an incredibly kind and friendly person; we thoroughly enjoyed talking to him and being his guests that evening. Personally, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to thank the chefs for their outstanding work and shake their hands. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and will definitely be back again❤️ couple from the Netherlands 🫶🏼

Really enjoyed our dinner here. The steak was delicious. The beans were awesome. The fish was really simple and delicious. The started out with two glasses of Prosecco and grilled bread. Yum. The owner came out to check on us. Our waiter (his son?) was charming and attentive. My only small criticism was that the desert was not quite up to expectation. Overall a wonderful little neighborhood place.

Every little bite of the food was delicious and you can tell that each dish was made with love and creativity. The servers, cooks, and owner of the restaurant were the sweetest as can be. The metal art in the restaurant are all made by the owner and you should ask about the story of the front door! You must have desert too! The chocolate mousse is perfect perfect perfect! If you want to feel good, eat good, and enjoy a beautiful night in florence, you can’t miss this gem!

Really lovely place. Owner was super nice and the atmosphere was really romantic and elegant. Compliments to the Chef, You could see all the work and effort went to each dishe as they were well prepared and tasty.

4.5 | Food is delicious and service is incredibly friendly and hospitable. Their pasta was fresh and cooked to perfection. The local steak was good, initially slightly undercooked for our liking and they quickly grilled it a bit more. Wine selection was terrific and suggested pairings were well executed. Would go back!

A product of love. The food was delicious and you could tell it was made with care and attention to detail. The menu has some variety but it’s not overwhelming, and as soon as the antipasti arrives, you’ll be able to tell they only add items to the menu they have mastered. But the quality of the food might be second only to the level of attention the staff pays to the customers - after the meal, my wife and I joked “they might think we are critics!” Way outside the norm from our trip across Italy. The best meal we’ve had in Florence - will return on our next trip.

I have been living in Italy for three years and I definitely can say that this place can offer one of the most delicious dishes. Prices are normal, portions were a little small for me. But the food, guys ♥️… we tasted risotto and pasta with seafood.

This resto was an amazing experience. We discovered it by chance and decided spontaneously to give it a try. First of all, the waitress was so friendly and smiling: a real sun! But more concretely, the meals were the perfect combinaison between the finess of Italian kitchen and the simplicity of its most tasteful products: they are all from small producers and home made. Cherry on the cake: they had crazy delicious natural wine - wish is pretty exceptional in Florence ! Shortly, just give a try as well, you won’t be disappointed.
