Delicious!! First tried Cultured Slice sandwiches when they made them at their original location. So excited they have this dedicated sandwich shop now! I absolutely love the Pig & Fig (pictured). Store is bright and clean, staff was friendly and efficient. Can't wait to try all the different options!

It doesn’t get better! Amazing location, community ownership, lovely staff, and a beautiful and welcoming store on top of downright great sandwiches. The menu has many thoughtful combinations that offer incredible flavors. Perfect to grab on your way down to the beach. We look forward to going often!

Take me back to Paris! My favorite part is walking down the street and grabbing a baguette with cheese and butter! I tried the sandwich from cultured slice and it did just that! I love the freshness of the bread, the cheese and the meat! I’ve been thinking about it since that day! If you’re in the area, stop by for some delicious sandwiches. You won’t regret it

The best sandwiches in South Bay! I love the place and I will find any excuse to come here. The staff is friendly and informative, the sandwich selection is huge, and everything on the menu is delicious. They also come up with some really creative sandwich recipes that I love. Try the egg chips. They are worth trying at least once. I think they're weird but it's worth the experience either way.

Amazing! The Havarti Party and the Club were fantastic. Both sandwiches had stellar bread and the meat, veggies, and sauces were very fresh and good quality. In addition, the employees were friendly and enjoyable to chat with. 10/10 would recommend.

These sandwiches are amazing! Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic from the Son of Sal to the Peaches & Cream. The Frenchie though just might be the perfect sandwich! I’d eat 3 a day if I could! Thank you Cultured Slice!

This little sandwich shop is a delight from the moment you walk through the door. If sandwich making is an art form then these folk are master artists on another level. Both cozy and inviting, you'll feel comfortable whether dining in or getting it to-go. Love the interior with its chill atmosphere. They offer a substantial selection of carefully crafted sandwiches created with high-quality ingredients. The menu is sure to feature something for every sandwich lover. From the classic combos we all know well to some that we never considered (that is until these artisans made us aware - yes, I'm including you after your visit). Their turkey sandwich, thinly sliced, which makes a huge difference, with fresh lettuce, and tomato brought together by a delicious house-made sauce is one of my favorites. All supported by nice fresh toasted bread. Oh and try the homemade tangy pickles. Note: They use locally sourced and sustainable ingredients whenever possible. Bonus points right there. Street parking is your best bet.

Stopped by this shop while at the beach based on the reviews and it didn't disappoint. The sandwiches are large and filling. The bread is soft and the sandwiches were great. I got the Pop the Turkey sandwich and I felt it a bit dry. I wish they added like oil or vinegar or something but the flavor was really good. I would just add some more liquid to it. Half the sandwich got me full! So if you're not too hungry, I would share a sandwich! Meter parking out front

I was quite happy wit my gluten-free vegetarian option - hearty portions and everyone enjoyed their sandwiches we took to the beach.

I am so excited that Cultured Slice Sandwich Shop has opened :) I've been a big fan of their cheese shop, also called Cultured Slice & also in Hermosa Beach, for a few years now and everything I love about the cheese shop can be found at the sandwich shop. Great food & great people!! For our first visit we went with The Classic (french ham, butter & gruyere on baguette) & The Frenchie (french ham, brie, butter, greens & whole grain mustard on baguette) and shared halves... OMG!!! These are the best sandwiches I've ever had :) The meats & cheeses are sliced to order, the bread is fresh and the sandwiches are assembled with care to make every bite perfection. The brand-new shop is so bright and cheerful with a piece of Hermosa Beach history on the front door (I'll let you be surprised). The location on Pier Ave, about a block up from the pier, make it perfect place to grab some food for a day at the beach! Of course, that also makes parking a thing, but on this Saturday in July we found a spot just a block away. I really can't recommend Cultured Slice enough and it's a women-owned local small business! Can't wait to come back I've already picked out my next sandwich :) Be sure to follow their IG for menu updates!!

Delicious food and friendly service! We tried the veggie and cheese in a baguette and the pop the turkey, both were amazing! I I tk wish I'd gotten it on the recommended soft roll since it turned out to be larger but next time. We got it to go but it would be fun dining and walking the area afterwards. Surprise bonus: they have awesome chocolates. Can't wait to try mroe form their menu!

My favorite sandwich shop, tied with Granny's Deli longboarder sandwich. I have tried almost all of the sandwiches and specials and I have not been disappointed. They have the BEST tuna sandwich, the HB Tuna, and it's the only spot I will order a tuna sandwich from! They use high quality meets, cheeses, bread, and condiments. The owner Solange is heavily involved and has employed a great staff, everyone who works there is friendly, and new employees learn quick and fit in well. The ambiance is sooo Hermosa Beach! Great place to grab a sandwich to eat on the beach or hang there and chow down. Locals tip: I like to call in my order right before I walk down to avoid the line :)

I participated in a scavenger hunt through Amazing Co. & one of the stops was here and I definitely want to come back to try their cheese / charcuterie spread and sandwiches. I tried the double charcuterie and the goat cheese was definitely an appetizer to remember. The staff was incredibly friendly & the location is perfect for beach-goers or locals for pick-up. Note: parking is free for the holidays in Hermosa & manhattan beach piers / surrounding areas !

Ordered food here every day while pregnant. Minimal weight times unless it is the weekend and a very clean concept. The employees are so kind..

We were celebrating a friends birthday on a boat cruise and we tasked Culture Slice to lend an assist with some delicious sandwiches and a charcuterie plate. The staff was extremely helpful in putting a sandwich menu together to make sure everyone's favorites were included. And the charcuterie boards are absolutely perfect. Highly recommended! Please do yourself a favor and check them out!

Definitely our favorite sandwich shop in the South Bay! Soooo many delicious options to choose from, making a decision is the hardest part. At least once I have had food envy for my husband's sandwich choice while fully enjoying my own. Ha! Love that they are located so close to the beach; makes for an easy lunch pick-up before a beach day. Yes, the price point here is on the high end, but it's worth it for the quality ingredients and substantial sandwich.

Love this place! I tried the "I Dare you" which lets the staff pick your sandwich. It was absolutely amazing, and was something I never would have picked myself but it was probably the best sandwich I have ever had. The curator said it was a Sweet and Spicy inspiration. Best Ever. Also the staff was very nice and such a cute shop and location with a friendly atmosphere.

I'm very picky about meat, especially deli meat. Beyond the artisanal aspect of their sandwiches, what matters to me is that their meat is quality and always sliced thin. The best deli sandwiches in LA. Favorites: Maui Wowie, OG Club, Forager, Hey Turkey The only things that could be improved are 1) having a printed menu for old eyes, 2) organizing their menu by meat and 3) renaming 5150. These are last resort options that family members have to take to keep loved ones from harming themselves. You'd never make light of that situation if you were close to someone with a serious mental illness.

Ive been here about 6-7 times now . Ive tried a different sandwich every time and they are ALL DELICIOUS! Staff is always friendly and helpful with recommending different options. The sandwiches are totally worth the price . Honestly one of the best sandwiches in town!!!!

I feel like I've died and gone to heaven with all of the amazing flavor combinations offered at Cultured Slice Sandwich shop! This is truly a unique and amazing experience; all ingredients are fresh, the bread is locally sourced, and only the best is prepared for us to enjoy! On my first trip, I could see the freshly hand made meatballs being cooked just behind the counter! You're not getting frozen, processed meat here, you're getting the real deal and this is the quality you can expect from the Cultured slice experience. I have to say that meatball sub was out of this world good!! Wish it was not a special of the month. Fortunately, there are so many other wonderful options to choose from. I don't live in town but I was here for 4 days and had lunch twice here because it was THAT good! I now just will live vicariously through the insta posts and look forward to visiting again soon. I've been visiting the cheese shop for a few years and this new addition to the cultured slice family is a home run!

We love this sandwich shop. So much so that we have gone on some of Hermosa Beach's busiest days and scrounged for parking just to eat here. So many creative combinations. Friendly service. I usually want "more" options from a sandwich shop. They have bottled sodas, sandwiches and chips. All gourmet. And while they may seem all like basics, they are, by far, not basic. It's a small shop so there isn't a lot of space to sit. Three 2-tops and a 4-top. I don't mind though. People seem to come and go often enough.

Lovely small space alone Pier Ave. heading toward the boardwalk. Space is very clean and brightly lit; only a few tables inside at the moment. Good variety of sandwiches: I tried the I Love Plants vegan sandwich and was thoroughly satisfied! Bread tastes fresh and there is a great ratio of bread to fillings. A little messy from the pesto and giardiniera so get some extra napkins. Overall very pleased with my first visit and excited to try their other options!

I seriously couldn't believe how good a sandwich could be but cultured showed me their rotating menu and twist on some classic combinations made me change my tune. I loved the bread randomly because you can tell it's homemade and toasted with butter. Those extra little steps make the sandwich just taste even better. The guy behind the counter was so helpful and knowledgeable about their menu so it made ordering a breeze. I wish it was a little less expensive but hey it's by the beach so you can't expect too cheap.

Very straight forward & extensive menu! Glad for the sandwich description for each option. The pretzel roll wasn't terrible, but I definitely prefer a french roll. Very good quality pastrami & cheese! Also stopped by their cheese shop on PCH too!!

Such a great addition to Hermosa Beach! Adding a new location a bit closer to the shore, Cultured Slice has taken everything they do right with cheese and meats, and placed them deliciously between some slices of bread. I got the 'Pickles and Pastrami' - The pastrami was thinly sliced and paired beautifully with fresh greens, fantastic cheese (as expected) and a fresh pretzel roll. The entire sandwich was really well balanced - you're not getting a face-full of pastrami here but that's the point - you could taste every bit of the sandwich and it all worked well together. Today (6/30/2022) was a soft opening for them before the 4th of July weekend, but service was fast and the team seemed ready for customers over the holiday weekend. As with all new businesses, I'm sure patience will be appreciated as they figure things out, but if my experience was any indication, they don't have much to worry about. Thanks for the great sandwich, and looking forward to many more :)

Was a little snacky on a Saturday afternoon. Way too late for lunch and too early for dinner. We decided to try this new sandwich shop we heard about and so glad we did. It was two of us and we decided to split a BLT on sourdough and after we walked it down to the strand and sat to eat it, I wished we got our own sandwiches, it was delicious! Never did I think a BLT sandwich would hit the spot! The shop itself is very humble and cute. The staff and owner were incredibly nice and inviting. We're definitely coming back for our own sandwiches next time!! Side note and maybe TMI... it's in the details. I used their restroom and noticed that they used "who gives a crap" 100% recycled toilet paper. It's not the cheapest stuff, in fact the opposite. I really appreciate that the owner took extra step to be more earth-friendly! I appreciate that detail.

Was convinced by high reviews when you can see that many reviews if not most are just PR. Waited a long time to get an average sandwich, plus it the price was high for what you get for me. No thanks can get better elsewhere.

Cultured Slice is my new go to sandwich spot. The sandwiches are made with care with attention to detail. The service is amazing and the place has an upbeat beachy vibe. I am on the finicky side and finally found a great sandwich. Looking forward to coming back next week.

So excited Cultured Slice Sandwich Shop is open! We've been huge fans of their cheese shop for a while and have been eagerly awaiting the sandwich shops opening. The sandwiches we tried at their soft opening did not disappoint. I got the Lets Pop the Turkey special and it was incredible. There are so many other sandwiches on the menu I can't wait to try. Their location is perfect for grab and go and I already know this is going to be a regular stop for beach day lunches. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood- and not to mention amazing ownership!

This spot is hands down, the best sandwich joint in Hermosa. I've gotten a handful of sandwiches from Cultured Slice, and they never miss. All the workers are incredibly polite as well which I always appreciate! My favorite sandwich is the Hey Turkey but you can't go wrong with any!

The sandwiches here were phenomenal and the service was great. The bread was made fresh. The prices might seem high but you're paying for quality here not some BS subway sandwich.

My husband is a "Sandwich Guy" and I went to Cultured Slice Sandwich Shop to get him a turkey sandwich and was delighted that there were 4 different turkey sandwiches on the menu!! I chose "Havarti Party" for him and it's his new favorite sandwich! I chose the "Frenchie" for me - Ham with Brie!! Huge beautiful sandwiches - I ate half for lunch and half later for dinner and my hubs ate it all in about four bites for lunch!! They also had cute merch for sale and beautiful decor and I have a feeling we will be eating there several times a month! Now I'm going to introduce my teenage boys to Cultured Slice and we will definitely be regulars!!

I was in the area for the Hermosa side walk sale and was looking for a good sandwich and Cultured did not disappoint. I got the O sandwich. It's a turkey and provolone sandwich with a pesto aioli. It was light, fresh and very tasty. The baguette it came on was perfect too; not too crunchy on the outside and the inside was fluffy and soft. The staff was friendly and helpful as it was my first time and I was stuck on choosing what I wanted. I also met the owner l, Solange who was extremely sweet and engaging. I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious sandwich. I had The Bear. This is a small shop with a large menu. We got there too late to get sourdough bread so we tried pretzel buns instead and they were great. Not really an eat in place but take your order to go and it's a short walk down to the beach. Staff was incredibly helpful explaining the extensive menu. I'll be back!

Pretty sure the people who work here are Sandwich magicians. Decided to get the hot honey goat with turkey, and the bear. While both were really good, the bear was just pure heaven. I wanted a second one it was that delicious. If you want a bomb ass sandwich come here.

A true gem of the beach cities. I've tried about 6 different sandwiches and each one was outstanding. "Silence of the Hams" is my favorite, but my favorite changes each time I try something new. Havarti Party is a winner. Hey Turkey will make any sandwich snob rethink their life's work. Today I tried the 5150, which is dealer's choice and it was phenomenal. Don't try to customize your order. They did their research and have mastered alchemy. Try the chocolates too. Only thing lacking is the beverage selection. It would be cool to have more root beer options.

Service was incredibly slow. Two male workers and an empty shop, took them both 30 minutes to make two sandwiches. Not sure if they were high, but it was really bad and slow service.

Taking off one star bc probably half the time I try to call in an order they're either closing early or ran out of supplies. I like to support small local businesses and I really love their sandwiches but it's hard to do so when they're unreliable.

My husband and I stopped by for lunch today and it was so DELICIOUS! I got the turkey havarti sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! Usually not one to leave reviews but the owner was so sweet and deserved some recognition!
