Westside debut set in February for CupBop’s Korean barbecue in a cup | Eater Vegas

"Expanding to the west side, this fast-casual Korean barbecue concept will open at Rockspring Plaza next to Market Grille Café (7175 W. Lake Mead Boulevard) on Friday, February 5. The location will carry the brand’s concise menu of Korean-style barbecue proteins paired with rice, cabbage and sweet potato noodles, plus familiar sides like fried/popcorn chicken, potstickers and imported beverages; unlike the University Gardens outpost, the new site will not include a drive-thru. The concept traces back to a Utah food truck by Junghun Song and emphasizes quick, low-priced, flavorful bowls with specialty sauces and a loyal customer base." - Bradley Martin

Cupbop just opened this new location not too long ago so I had to show my support since we absolutely love their food and are frequent visitors at their 1st location! They have so many great varieties to choose from for your bowl or you can create your own which is fun! If you love Korean BBQ you need to check this spot out because it’s THE SPOT! They even have kid’s meals which is always a plus!!!!

Had a good experience at Cupbop. From the warm welcome to the detailed explanation of their unique bowl creation process, the staff made our first visit memorable. We tried the Korean-style tangy fried chicken, a must-try. Opted for the Combo Bop with Korean BBQ pork and fried tofu, customized to perfection. The "Cupbop special" sauce added a delightful kick at 7.5 spicy level. Impressed by the gluten-free fryer and a range of sauces from sweet to "fire in the hole." Don't miss their Korean drinks like Milkis and Yoga Vera, along with Turtle chips – light, airy, and flavorful. Highly recommend this spot – go already and enjoy the experience! "Shhh…and just eat."

The food here is good. I had the bbq chicken cup with noodles and cabbage. I also had potstickers. They were pretty small but they were packed with flavor. Next time I will get the rice and noodles. They put two different sauces on it, both were really good. I can be a little confusing ok where to order. It would be great if they put up an “order here sign”. I will definitely try this restaurant again.

I'm so excited this opened here!!! It was a food destination every time I was visiting Utah, so when I saw one opened here in Vegas, I was super excited!! And it didn't disappoint! Those noodles and that good flavor keep me coming back. Give it a try!

First time having cup bob was at this location and the overall experience made us come back a few more times afterwards as well. We drive 30+ mins from summerlin just o come here when we want some as the other locations are just not the same.

The food taste is excellent. The meat both the chicken and the beef dont look or feel like mystery meat like in some other restaurants. Excellent flavor and you can pick the heat you want. Only i found to be e negative was the rice in my bowl was not cooked all the way. It was crumbly in the center. Maybe just that day or just my bowl but other than that it was excellent.

Wonderful food and staff were very friendly! Spice level was not as hot as I hoped and I wish the cabbage was kimchi instead. Also not the healthiest but I did order fried chicken so that's on me. Otherwise a lot of really good food.

Satisfied 1st time customer, thanks to Niyea and the excellent cook on Thursday night. I came with a friend and didn't intend to eat. Niyea was so nice, we ended up talking about Cupbop's many bowl options, she made a great suggestion and preped me a beef noodle and rice bowl that was so good. She prepared it perfectly! She also gave me a Loyality card that offers a free bowl after 9 punches. I am headed for my 2nd punch today, ready to try Niyea's 2nd suggestions Tangy beef and mandoos today 🤗 Thanks cupbop, I'm on my way!
