Cuq en Terrasses

We came here for lunch and had a great food experience. The restaurant and bed and breakfast has lots of character and charm.

We had such a special few days here. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. This place has such beautiful charm. From the gardens (and the little spots around the grounds to relax and enjoy the views) to the pool and the room itself. We took the room with the private balcony and bath. It was perfect for us. Such a special house and design. The food was stunning. I felt so looked after as a vegan - and my partner enjoyed the full menu. Elegant, subtle and sophisticated. We enjoyed learning that so much of the dish was picked metres away in the garden. The team really knows what they’re doing. Such a relaxing and special place. We felt so looked after by Charline, Bastian and the whole team with just the right amount of kindness, friendliness and privacy.

Great B&B and restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There are many places to see all within a 2 hour range so this was a good base for us. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Restaurant is excellent. Very talented young chef!

Four of us stayed for one night en route to the Canal du Midi, what a memorable experience. The building has been restored beautifully and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Cuq-en Terrasse enjoys fabulous views over the surrounding countryside and it is worth exploring the gardens and orchards for the birdlife. The nightingales will deafen you. We enjoyed an outstanding 5-course meal in the restaurant, which was packed with diners from the surrounding areas, we can see why. We were concerned that the establishment had recently acquired new owners, but they could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable, energetic and delightfully humorous. Make sure you get to stay here and make sure you try the Armagnac!

I have eaten here on many occasions and have yet to be disappointed. The food and service are exceptional. Andonis the chef often creates little master pieces of taste and presentation. The restaurant setting is amazing - its a perfect place for a sunset on a warm summers night - one of my favorite restaurants in the world.

Wow!! I could just leave that as a one word review for our overnight stay at Cuq en Terrasses, that one word summarises everything perfectly. But going into a little more detail… our accommodation was La Tour and it was a fantastic apartment. Plenty of room for the two of us and our two dogs. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had seen reviews that the food would be really good, but it was absolutely amazing. We chose the tasting menu and every one of the seven courses was purely delightful. The selection of wines was fantastic, as was the aperitif that we had, Armagnac, sparkling wine and orange liqueur, will definitely try to recreate that when we get home. The service was also top notch, all the staff that we met were lovely and Philippe and Andonis were amazing hosts. Our one night here could well be the highlight of our three week trip around France, we will definitely return.

Our yearly visit for a celebration and the hotel and food were yet again flying the flag for very high standards.|The few rooms are quirky but function well, the shutters are easy and the bed v comfortable.|The hosts now wait on table and the team in the kitchen deliver beautiful food under Adonis' guidance. |Cannot praise it high enough, thanks for making our annual trip so special.|Ps breakfast selection is great to!

Cuq en Terrace is simply delightful. From the stunning views of this part of France which is full of rolling hills (they call it the Tuscany of France) with the most incredible sunsets from the terrace and panoramic restaurant windows, to the impeccable service and extraordinary cuisine. I cannot think of a better restaurant in France - and I’ve been to a few! The gardens and the pool are utterly delightful, as are the owners, Phillippe and Andonis. Highly, highly recommend ❤️
