"For vegan pecan and pumpkin pies, order from this ice cream shop in Oakland. They also have gluten-free pies on request. Whatever you order, pair it with a quart of their dairy or vegan vanilla ice cream. Order here by Nov. 21st for pick-up on the 24th or 25th." - julia chen 1

9 Unforgettable Ice Cream Shops in the East Bay Perfect for Summer | Eater SF

"Were it not for the long lines that almost always wrap around the corner, it’d be easy to miss this tiny scoop shop tucked away in Temescal Alley. You’ll be able to find flavor-packed standbys — the rocky roads, mint chips, and salted caramels — but the real standouts are the cherry almond (mixed with juicy hunks of cherries) and the vanilla maltball with its ultra-satisfying crunch. If you’re lucky, they’ll be serving cashew-based, salty-sweet Thai tea soft serve, which is best on a cake cone with a vanilla swirl." - Lena Park

Curbside Creamery Review - Oakland - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"There’s always a line at this tiny ice cream shop in Temescal, even when it’s a cool 50 degrees outside. They serve the most impressive vegan ice cream in the Bay. The weekly rotating plant-based soft serve, in creative flavors like Thai tea, orange creamsicle, and blueberry, are so creamy you can easily trick yourself into thinking it’s full-fat dairy (they do make dairy-based soft serve, too). Or just come here for a regular scoop of ice cream —the non-vegan bourbon whiskey vanilla and super fresh mango sorbet are standouts. Add in a crispy, sweet housemade waffle cone and you have yourself the ideal dessert. " - Julia Chen

The Best Restaurants and Bars in Temescal | Eater SF

"Gourmet ice cream in charming Temescal Alley is the pitch for Curbside Creamery, though that sort of undersells its many virtues. These include a rotating soft serve (with a vegan and non-vegan flavor at all times) and simple seasonal ice cream flavors (again, many vegan). A big seller: Ice cream sandwiches made with several kinds of cookies, from gingersnaps to chocolate shortbread." - Eater Staff

Google
wasn’t sure about vegan ice cream at first, and half their flavors are vegan, but the young coconut is seriously amazing. If you’re not into vegan, try the earl grey tea flavor. It’s nice and light, super refreshing, but still has enough flavor to really enjoy every bite :)

Google
There isn't a bad item you could order at Curbside. The fresh waffle cones really take me for a spin, they alone can be eaten and loved without anything extra! But fortunate for us, we also get tasty, rotating soft serve flavors to fill them with. Also, the variety of vegan ice creams is excellent for my wife. The ice cream sandwiches are awesome. Just such a great little walk up ice cream spot, a necessity when in the neighborhood for dinner.

This was our final stop in our adventure day! We weren't sure what the flavor of the day was but we were happy to see that it was matcha. The dairy soft serve was matcha and the vegan soft serve was vanilla bean. We both chose to get the swirl and that did not disappoint. I ordered it on their homemade waffle cone and that was TASTE TAY! The cone had the right about of sweetness and crunch. There was a little line to get your soft serve and there are ice creams I'd like to dive into next time. I hope to come back for a surprise visit soon.

Google
Best mint chip! Love their flavors and the variety for vegan options. One of the best in the area and sometimes there is a line but moves quickly. Lots of outside seating with benches and chairs in the alley

Google
Great little ice cream parlor that opens in the evening till 11. Besides regular ice cream flavors, they also provide enough of vegan choices. I love the vegan butter pecan and it’s taste so delicious. Mexican chocolate and bourbon whisky vanilla are both creative and delicious. Soft served chocolate and peanut are surprisingly good too. Anyway, it’s great to have some ice cream after a good meal on Telegraph. Thank to Curbside Creamery for open in the evening and I really appreciate the waiting, it’s fun.

Google
Delicious ice cream, friendly service, tantalizing ice cream sandwiches, and loads of vegan options for those non-dairy folks out there. My girlfriend got the vegan peanut butter-chocolate (made with cashew milk) and she loved it — especially since no-dairy meant no regretting it later, she could just enjoy! I admit that I wished my scoop was a bit bigger, but I’m well aware that artisanal products with quality ingredients do cost a bit more, so no complaints here! It was delicious and we enjoyed the experience.

Google
I have sampled ice cream everywhere and feel very strongly that I live within walking distance of the very best. Every out of town guest that I brought here over the past 9 years has asked me take them back here, no matter how long ago they visited me. They *remember* this place as the highlight of their trip, their hands down favorite. Lots of ice cream places have unique flavors and vegan ice cream. Very few have that and top shelf taste and consistency. I just had a serve twist of Salted Caramel (Vegan) and Dark Chocolate (dairy) with rainbow sprinkles in a waffle cone. It was crazy delicious, and I rarely give that kind of review to ice creameries, especially of a soft serve. They have both dairy and vegan versions- sometimes even of the same flavor! Their ice cream sandwiches are so good, that my daughter cuts them in half so she can slowly savor them over two days. Why?! They are made from cookies that are brilliant on their own - ginger snaps or vanilla shortbread. My favorite is Earl Grey ice cream sandwiches with English shortbread. But the mint chocolate chip with chocolate cookies sandwiches is a close second. The service is kind, warm, and also consistent.

Google
Love the ice cream here. They always have creative flavors, and a surprising amount of vegan options, including with the ice cream sandwich options. They also make soft serve here, if that's your preference. They also have a cute little spot to sit and eat your yummies.

Yelp
It's almost fair to say I come here for their handmade Chocolate Waffle Cone... but, of course I love their ice cream too! Their Vanilla Bourbon ice cream is truly a perfect blend of the whiskey notes and rich vanilla bean. Unless I love both the available soft serve flavors (they always have one that is intriguing) this is one of the rare places I almost always order my usual! A neighborhood staple that is open late.

Yelp
such a cute store literally on the curbside in a garage-looking space. i went ~8:30pm on a thursday and the line was still out the door (it moved pretty quickly though!). they allow you to try the flavors which are ever changing. i went for the pistachio ice cream w the chocolate soft serve and it was so good. love the bits of actual pistachio nuts and sweetness paired with the creaminess of the dark chocolate!! they also have free cake/sugar cones you can add as well~ theres a lot of seating outside the shop, so we enjoyed sitting and watching the crowds go by,, i already know this is going to be one of my top ice cream shops :) (p.s. they also have a buncha vegan ice cream flavors + pies!)

Yelp
I'll speak for my fellow lactose intolerant community that curbside has one of the best dairy free selections in the east bay! When the weather is nice it's fun to come to the alley way with a friend for some icecream. My favorites flavors are the cookies and cream, peanut butter fudge, and Thai iced tea - they let you sample of course. They have different selections for cones. Service is quick and friendly usually, although we've had one sour experience towards our group, and be prepared to stand in a line since it's well loved! No indoor seating area, just outside surrounded by sweet stores to explore.

Yelp
Was in town visiting my sister for the day and she took me to all of her favorite vegan spots. We couldn't end our night without a sweet treat, so ice cream was a must. Curbside creamery is literally curbside, hence the name and just a small shop with roll up doors. There is no seating inside but this is not meant to be a sit down type of place. There is seating located just outside and the vibes here were so much fun. There was music playing, people dancing, and larger groups of friends laughing and enjoying each other's company over some ice cream. There were several options to choose from such as soft serve, ice cream sandwiches, vegan and non vegan ice cream and even pie. The flavors ranged from classic chocolate to unique roasted banana walnut. Staff were very friendly and helpful in trying a few flavors before making your decision. I went with the cherry almond (non vegan) on a waffle cone which was such a hit. My sister got the cookies and cream (vegan) which was good but had a chalky texture to it.
google avatar

Yelp
Smell of the waffle cones drew me in, the nectarine sorbet was so good and made with real nectarine. Staff was friendly and let me sample multiple flavors before ordering.

Yelp
Quite literally on the curb, it looks like it's operated out of a garage. However don't let that fool you, Curbside has a great selection of both vegan and non-vegan flavors. From classics like strawberry and chocolate, to a rotating list of great coconut and cashew-based ice creams. If you find a flavor you like, you can bring home a separate pre-packaged pint. Beyond just ice cream, they also have pie. I know, kind of a weird dessert combo, but honestly not bad. I wouldn't eat them together, but individually? Count me in. Curbside is a nice little spot to grab a dessert after eating dinner at one of the numerous restaurants on Telegraph.

Yelp
One of the only places open past a certain hour - it was fairly early still but most stores on this alley seemed closed. It was easy to drop in as their doors were wide open and inviting. I don't remember ever coming here in the past. It's a small establishment, but they have a lot of unique flavors to choose from. I appreciated how they have a good selection of vegan and non-vegan and sorbet options. Some classics and others in rotation. Peanut Butter Fudge (cashew based - vegan opt) & Salted Caramel (non-vegan, regular opt) was my 2 scoop in a cup selection. I requested to sample the following which were also very good: - Young Coconut (coconut based - vegan opt) - Bourbon Whiskey Vanilla (non-vegan, regular opt) - Cookies n' Cream (cashew based - vegan opt) I wanted to try their Matcha and Grapefruit Sorbet too, but didn't. Friendly staff! I would keep coming back just to checkout what flavors are being offered b/c I found them to be so interesting!

Yelp
Great service! I like the vanilla ice cream with malt balls Place is small and a bit hidden

Yelp
Come here--your taste buds deserve a yummy treat! The best part? A single scoop means you can choose two smaller scoops of different flavors, so you don't have to settle. I went for the ginger snap molasses and salted caramel, and let me tell you, this creamy goodness was everything I needed after dinner. My fiancée stuck with the classic cookies and cream, which was equally delicious. Our daughter? She loved every single bite, and seeing her joy made it even better. This spot is a must. Come here, that's all.

Yelp
Was in the neighborhood for tacos, but while walking past this place, I couldn't help but seek out icecream after catching a waft of their waffle cones. After sampling a few flavors, I opted for a single waffle cone with their sweet corn and pistachio. There was a miscommunication between the workers because I was served sweet corn and Thai tea, but I didn't care enough to correct them since I also enjoy Thai tea. Both icecream scoops had very pronounced flavor, but some bites were quite icy, hence the 3 stars. I say the selection is good for large groups with varying dietary restrictions as there are many vegan options available. Another plus is that the portion sizes are fair for the price. The flavors are also on the more unique side, but I feel they could execute the icecream better.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious ice cream!!! Tucked away in the back alley, we were brought here by the incredible aroma of their chocolate waffle cones being made. The salted caramel one was vegan, made of coconut. Didn't really hit the spot for me. The flavours that really hit me was their Mexican Chocolate as well as their Whiskey Vanilla. The slight whiskey kiss was super seductive. The spiciness of the Mexican chocolate was perfect!! Definitely coming back to try more flavours!!
google avatar

Yelp
The ambiance here is colder than the ice cream We truly felt like we inconvenienced them by ordering. We felt so unwelcomed and noticed that other's walking in felt awkward by the eye rolls and huffing and puffing happening as well. Everyone working here is annoyed and irritated and they WORK AT AN ICE CREAM SHOP. Lucky for them, the ice cream was delicious so they got some stars for that. However it is NOT worth the lack of service.

Soundarya K.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite place in Oakland! Have been back to try different favors multiple times and sad I won't be able to visit as often when I move. The waffles cones are amazing and I love that they have rotating flavors for the soft serve every week. Favorite flavor: Cherry Almond :)
google avatar

Veronica L.

Yelp
Awesome friendly service and I adore their salted caramel ice cream, which can also be purchased in pints. They're one of few businesses that do stamp cards which is also a plus. They keep it clean and there's cute seating across from the shop that's a mix of metal seats with tables and a wooden bench.

Yelp
Amazing selection of ice cream (dairy and dairy free options) and soft serve. Even though they had such an extensive dairy free selection, they were also very accommodating due to one of us having cashew allergy - used a new scooper and was very mindful of scooping the ice cream. I personally enjoyed the dairy free (cashew milk) soft serve. Pistachio with dark chocolate swirl were amazing. We just sat on a bench in the nice alleyway with all the small business shops and enjoy it with a nice sunny day.

Yelp
I've been meaning to go here for so long, and I'm happy to had such a great time getting ice cream around Curbside Creamery! It is a small shop in Temescal, and you walk in to see all the flavors on display. We were able to try a bunch of flavors, and I liked the Pumpkin and Coconut one the best! Our server was so nice and made conversation as we were ordering. The prices are cheaper than surrounding ice cream areas, but the scoops are also a lot smaller! But the ice cream itself was so delicious and I need to come back to try the Malted flavor, which our server likes best!

Yelp
Review: If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The server here is unbelievably rude--like they're doing you a favor by serving you. I was met with eye rolls, sighs, and an attitude that made it clear they couldn't care less about customers. They told us to get our ice cream and get out of the store. On top of that they told us that we were being too loud when there were dozens of others all talking. Save yourself the disappointment and take your money somewhere that actually values customers. FWIW the Thai tea taste like diarrhea.
google avatar

Jessica N.

Yelp
A perfect sweet treat! They have some unique flavors and have also dairy free options. I got the coffee which was creamy and delightful. One of my favorite ice cream shops in Oakland!
google avatar

Antoinette A.

Yelp
Best dark chocolate soft serve around! I always check their website to see if it's on the rotating menu, which changes every Thursday. Their other flavors are great too -- I especially like the pistachio and the Bicycle Coffee Co. I've also noticed the service has improved a lot. It used to feel a bit cranky, but lately, it's been a much more pleasant and welcoming experience.
google avatar

Chad M.

Yelp
I really like the soft serve here. It's close whether I like lovely's soft serve of this place better. They also have pies. It was around 4 pm for my second visit and they were very busy.
google avatar

Kathleen W.

Yelp
This is always a classic whenever we are in the area. I haven't been to this place without a line before and it's typically quite fast regardless of the length of the line. We quickly queued up, sampled some flavors and I decided to get a scoop of the pluot sorbet. I had not had pluot as an ice cream or sorbet so I had to get this one. It's nice, sweet and tangy so help with the spicy korean food I had ingested right before. My SO got a scoop and he also got a slice of pie. Ice cream was delicious but the pie was a miss.

Yelp
This WAS my go-to dessert spot in temescal but after my friends and I experienced rude and hostile treatment, we do not feel comfortable coming back. A group of friends and I (a mix of queer, non-binary, trans and all of us POC which is important for the context) came here after dinner for some ice cream. We walked in to take a look at the flavors and immediately, the person working the counter (also lgbtq+ but white) firmly told us we can't all be crowding so only a few at a time at the counter. FYI, it was night and raining out and this is how we were greeted. We understand if we need to be in a line! But what bothered us was the tone. We don't expect a smile and a hello but damn we at least deserve respect. And ALL of us caught that tone, which felt rude / not friendly at all. But whatever we got our ice cream and were just standing, enjoying it outside. Suddenly another worker comes out (female, fair skin) and then *also* RUDELY tells us to get off of the mats a couple of friends were standing on, we shouldn't be standing on them. We were confused because the rubber black mats were literally just left outside in a messy pile wet from the rain and we had no idea it even belonged to them. Again with the attitude and tone! Why can't y'all just be polite? At this point we were so done so we just walked away. For an establishment that appears to be inclusive of all identities, progressive, woke, etc... they sure were hella rude to a group of queer and COLORED folks! This seems like a friendly welcoming place but that was not at all the vibe we got that night. The fact that we were an entire group of people who all felt the same about what happened, says a lot. We did not feel safe or respected here which is a shame. This business should practice what it preaches which is community and inclusivity because it truly felt low vibrational on some big hater energy. And we all know targeted hate when we see/feel it. Check your privilege and do better.

Yelp
Omg they hooked this girl up. So much better than I expected it! I love this place, I just wish parking was easier to find.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband and I love their nonvegan salted caramel. Sometimes I consider getting a different flavor, but nope. Salted caramel every time, so so good. I'm a basic cake cone girl so yay for cake cones! They also have sugar and waffle cones too. I like that they have seating right outside and kids can run around the alley way too! Staff can smile a bit more otherwise, this is the spot for salted caramel ice cream in the East bay.!
google avatar

Hyun Y.

Yelp
The ice cream parlor had nice selection of ice cream and some vegan one that was cashew and coconut based. Staff was friendly and allowed to try multiple flavors. Some of the favorite flavors were young coconut, matcha and cherry almond. The servings were generous and price was decent. We got two scoops for $7 and got to try 4 different flavors. Yummy! Have some outdoor seating outside as well.
google avatar

Shane S.

Yelp
Curbside Creamery does great vegan ice cream. Half the menu has all vegan ice cream flavors made using coconut as the base. They even have vegan soft serve. I went with a double scoop of half young coconut and cookie dough. I had it in a waffle cone with sprinkles. All of it was vegan. I think the young coconut flavor was exceptional and one of the best vegan ice creams I ever had and the cookie dough was just average. Next time I would get a double or single of the young coconut ice cream. Highly recommended to go check out if in Oakland!

Yelp
Located in a cute little alley. Good spot for a quick catch-up /date. Street parking is tough as usual in that area. They don't allow trying samples after cover. I kinda dislike that because they have interesting flavors but they can be risky. The service was quick. Hope they can allow trying samples again. I got rocky road with cashew base. Tbh I had no idea what I bought because they didn't allow sample... my friend got honeydew gelato and the honeydew wasn't that strong.
google avatar

Alyssa N.

Yelp
stopped by the shops in the area and decided to grab a bite here :) cute little shop. no line on a sunday afternoon. lots of families and children lounging around. loved this place because of all their non-dairy options!! they were friendly about me asking for samples. got their dairy free cookie dough option in a cup and it was great. few tables in front to sit at as well.
google avatar

Sherry Z.

Yelp
Definitely go to ice cream shop for me. I always find a variety of flavors and something new to try every time I'm there. Everything that I have tried is such a good mixture of sweet and creamy and flavourful that there isn't anything I would not recommend. The location can be a little crowded given that it has a small counter and not too much space inside. However, there is plenty of space in the alley to spread out and enjoy your ice cream. I've never had any issues with the service, everyone has always been friendly and helpful. A go-to spot if you are craving a sweet treat.
google avatar

Eleanor A.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place for a while. Ordered the vegan vanilla soft serve in a waffle cone, I know sounds boring but it's not often that I find a soft serve that's vegan and it didn't disappoint. It was creamy and delicious, the waffle cone was crispy and a perfect duo. My husband ordered the salted caramel and he enjoyed it. I didn't take any photos.
google avatar

Allison H.

Yelp
This was my first time here and I quite enjoyed the dessert! I got the cookies and cream and honeydew sorbet single scoop in a cup. The cookies and cream was absolutely delicious! It was creamy with light crispy cookies! Yum! The honeydew sorbet was vegan and tasted very refreshing. This is such a cute little spot to grab some ice cream on a hot day or even after dinner! Next time, I'm going to try their soft serve! It looked amazingly delicious!
google avatar

Bobby L.

Yelp
Ice cream is unbelievable and I believe it's made in small batches. Line gets long but service is quick, since, ya know-- it's ice cream. Lots of parking and nice little tucked away location. Will be going back soon.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Delicious and unique flavors. Lots of vegan options made with cashew butter. There's no inside seating but there are a few tables, chairs with umbrellas outside. I love the location. It's located on an alley that has lots of small cute shops. Ample street parking too
google avatar

RJ A.

Yelp
The line was poppppin when we arrived around 8:15 and stayed poppin until we left around 9. Apparently, this is the place to be. Unfortunately, the creamery doesn't allow samples which inherently slows down the turn around time. However, samples do allow you to better decide what flavor one wants! That's truly aside from the point because this place has vegan options for my fellow vegans so I tried one dairy based and one coconut based! My knock on the young coconut flavor is that it could be more coconutty. Nevertheless, both flavors were delightful. I got coffee along with the coconut and it was one of the best coffee flavors I've had! Next time, I look to try their soft serve!

Leen S.

Yelp
Love Curbside Creamery. The staff is great--very friendly and sweet. Really great VEGAN ice cream in several flavors! My favorite is the vegan cookies & cream. I have brought lots of dairy-eating friends here & they love the dairy flavors too. Outdoor seating only, but there is plenty!

Nathan T.

Yelp
my favorite ice cream place of all time. It is so good and the workers are so nice. Its nice that its outdoors and its just great.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
I do like the flavor selection of this ice cream spot. The service was great. One person worked on my kiddos order and another person started to work on mine. A friendly group was sitting out front enjoying their ice cream when we left. The temperature of the ice cream is the only thing I was not satisfied with. I feel like if it were a little colder it would be more firm. We got the vanilla soft serve this time and it was great. Other flavors of soft serve have been grainy. Love the punch card to earn a free cone!
google avatar

Maddie X.

Yelp
Go to spot in Oakland for ice cream! Service / Space Staff is helpful and patient when sampling flavors. The space inside is small but there's lots of seating outside to enjoy your ice cream. Ice Cream * Have a variety of both vegan / non-dairy and dairy options * High quality, smooth texture, and accurate flavors * Recommend trying the thai tea and house made waffle cone!! Soft Serve * The texture is great and they have dairy and non dairy options * My favorite flavors are: Matcha/Vanilla, Orange Creamsicle, Strawberry * They rotate their soft serve flavors weekly so I recommend checking their menu before going.
google avatar

Chloe N.

Yelp
Cute little spot at the corner of the alleyway. I got a junior salted caramel, my aunt got a scoop of the lemon cream, and my uncle got the coffee soft serve (it was the only soft serve, non-vegan flavor available at the time). My salted caramel ice cream was good, decent, but nothing really amazing. My aunt enjoyed her lemon scoop, and it tasted just like the name. But my uncle did not enjoy the coffee soft serve at all. The texture wasn't like any other soft serve. It was grainy and more icy than it was supposed to be. Probably won't come back here for soft serve. It's convenient though if you're eating at Pizzaiolo.
google avatar

Lilly P.

Yelp
This is my favorite ice cream spot in the East Bay! A small neighborhood gem with refined flavors, and a welcoming ambience. I love that they always have two soft serve flavors in addition to scoops.
google avatar

Paul M.

Yelp
We got some soft serve yogurt and a Mexican chocolate cone! The soft serve was decent but the Mexican chocolate was delicious! Chocolate, cinnamon, and the smallest hint of cayenne. They don't offer samples which was a bummer but it's all good
google avatar

Celine L.

Yelp
Such a great ice cream corner, nestled in an alley in Oakland! Upon recommendation from the staff, we ordered the "single" and picked 1 scoop of the pumpkin pie (vegan) and 1 scoop of the bourbon vanilla. Tasters aren't allowed, so it was a bit of a gamble. But in the end, we were pleasantly surprised - the flavors were fantastic and the ice cream was very creamy.
google avatar

Yelp
Ice cream is good everyday and the rainy day I went to Curbside Creamery was no exception. It was clear I wasn't the only one who thought that because when I got there the line was pretty long...like out the door...in the rain! The line moved quickly though. Soon enough I was able to choose from their many unique flavors. Love that they have more than just the regular vanilla and while I did go for good ol' cookies and cream, my fiancé loved his pumpkin pie scoop. The shop is small so no seating inside (it is *curbside* after all) but lots of seating outside if you want to hang out. Parking was relatively easy on a Friday late evening. Since they're tucked away in an alley right by a residential area, we found parking in the neighborhood and walked around a bit. No need to worry about having to park on a busy street. Worth a visit if you're craving ice cream in the area!

Yelp
Get a stamp card! Adorable little find in the Temescal Alley for ice cream that isn't too sweet, but hits the spot. I always enjoy the vegan flavors here, including Young coconut and Thai tea, and they have other unique and delicious flavors like the Earl Grey tea. Not a cheap ice cream place, but incredibly popular. When I'm in the mood, the soft serve is great to enjoy as well. Service is friendly and the shop is nested right next to a cute plant shop that we always check out. The vegan cashew and coconut base for the ice cream is delicious and can sometimes taste overpowering, but it's comparable to Mr. Dewie's Cashew Creamery - another incredible place for vegan ice cream. Great spot to come after dinner with friends and wait in line with a big group. Husband's review: "Creamy."

Yelp
Curbside Creamery is in Oakland's Temescal neighborhood where there is a stretch of restaurants and bars. They have a variety of flavors including some vegan/dairy free and gluten free options. They also offer some flavors on soft serve, as well as freshly baked cookies for ice cream sandwiches. I've usually ended up at Curbside after eating at one of the Korean restaurants in that area. The ice cream makes for a good palate cleanser. I've enjoyed getting a waffle cone (can't remember if they make them from scratch or not, but they taste pretty good) The flavors I've enjoyed include: - Young Coconut - Bicycle Co Coffee (you can really taste the coffee) - Bourbon Whiskey Vanilla - Salted Caramel There is seating and tables in the little courtyard outside their storefront.

Yelp
Went to this location after KBBQ with some friends just down the street and coming here was a great way to end the night. Parking isn't the best around this location especially when you come later around dinner time, so expect to park on the street or somewhere in a neighborhood. I've only been around this area twice and overall it seems safe to walk around regardless of the location being in Oakland. What immediately stood out is that if you're allergic to dairy, you have around eight vegan options. Salted Caramel is one of my favorite flavors so I gave that a go in a single cup which cost around $5. As expected, the ice cream tasted fantastic and have no complaints about the taste. I had a small bite of my friend's ice cream since he ordered a coffee flavor and I will definitely be back to try that out. Overall, this place is a great dessert place to try out after having dinner in the area!

Yelp
There is a line, that's not my issue. When I went the service worker kept exasperating and shouting about how much they did not want to be there and did not want to work. I get it I also don't want to be at my place of work sometimes but everyone waiting were really cordial. No one in front of me was rude prior so it didn't make sense. I ordered the cherry almond. For what it was it was good, the waffle cone though is extremely sweet and I had to throw it out. I hope the person is feeling better and it's not the place of work causing that much stress
