"Ensconced in the slowed-down, small-town pace of Tarpon Springs, Currents offers a place to savor exquisite fresh seafood in a relaxed environment. Everything about this place makes you want to take your time with your meal, from the outdoor tables on the sidewalk to the friendly servers who explain every detail about your dish. Explore Tarpon Springs’ diverse downtown, then stop into Currents for a plate of diver scallops with sweet corn emulsion and bacon jam, and blackened fish with smoked gouda grits. Pair it with Harken Chardonnay, and feel yourself getting more relaxed by the minute." - Matthew Meltzer

Best Tampa-Area Spots For Chardonnay This Memorial Day | Eater

"Currents combines fine dining and craft cocktails in a red brick space dotted with mismatched antique furniture. It gives the restaurant an undeniably elegant and funky vibe, an unusual aesthetic that provides a romantic setting to enjoy New American creations like crab topped red snapper and char-braised beef short ribs with your chardonnay." - Matthew Meltzer

Walked in for an early lunch, had the Baked Brie with Blackberry Coulis and Fig Jam starter and Butternut Squash. Cousin had Croque Madam followed by Chocolate cake and Key Lime by local Mike’s Pies. Dishes were flavorful and artistically presented. Service was excellent and attentive-we were the only early diners ;), enjoyable experience. Multiple dining areas, accessible restrooms.

I will have to update this review if we come back, because we went years ago and it was a nice experience, but my family and I came for Mothers Day brunch and were highly disappointed in the service, menu, and the chefs who were cooking the meals on Mother’s Day. The best thing was the lovely and subtle live guitarist. The brunch menu that was given to us for Mother’s Day was limited and not advertised online. We check online first to make sure we liked the menu and were surprised when it was a completely different menu. The next thing is the prices for the Mother’s Day menu were astronomical for the result of the food we were served. The food was mid and the presentation was TERRIBLE for the price of the food. The fine dining cuisine that is advertised is not shown in the presentation. The lobster bisque was extremely salty, with NO lobster chunks in it and it tasted like nacho cheese from a can. The presentation was bad and sloppy. The prime rib was good but not $60 good. The omelet order that we were served was WRONG and plated with NOTHING but just an omelet. Again, bad presentation and effort. The grits came out cold. Who wants cold grits? The wine glasses were so thin that one broke in my mother’s hand as she went to move it. The server was practically whispering, and we were unable to hear what he said. It was very complicated and the chefs and servers did do their best to satisfy us but things kept going wrong. We appreciated the affords from the servers, and they did comp. two of our meals. Last thing is that apparently the main chef was not working, it was two other chefs, so I feel like there should be a level of consistency that is upheld in such a restaurant.

Google
They are USED to be a good place in Tarpon but I will never come back because of this outrageous price. We ordered “Jumbo” shrimp and crab cocktail for $21. Came out 3 small to medium sized ( 2.2inches total length) shrimp with mini crab claws which you could call half or less bite sized. Our bill came out with ALREADY 22% service fee added on. This place became total scam. I’m Highly not recommend.

James was a great bartender. I tried a cocktail on the menu & had him make one with the Bourbon infusions. Great apple sour from that one. It's really tasty food. I like the duck entree. The escargot appetizer was amazing!

Google
Very, very good and well priced. We went to celebrate a birthday and so glad we decided Currents. Our server Scott was very attentive and made excellent suggestions. Our first time here, and to be honest we were not even thinking this was hiding all along. The owner stopped by and was very pleasant and really made us felt welcomed. After dinner, Scott shared a small tour of the event room, and it is fantastic. Our meal was great, our drinks were very good, and service excellent. We will definitely be back and will bring our friends. So nice having such a great restaurant right in downtown Tarpon Springs.

We held my daughter’s bridal shower in Currents event space Saturday. Currents did a fabulous job of decorating and meeting our every need. The food was superb! Excellent space to hold an event. Thanks Victor for great service!

Wife and I went out of the blue during our time out shopping to enjoy some cocktails. This establishment was such a treat. Inside is very clean and beautifully decorated. We did not have the time to try any food except fries, so i definitely plan on returning for a more in-depth experience. James was absolutely outstanding! He was very knowledgeable about his work and let us know about several different themes and events they have there.

Yelp
Wow, was that disappointing. Then I got the bill and was actually irritated I stopped here. The Main Street location is great. The decor was very traditional. Yet, I just got a concerning vibe, and I should have trusted my gut. First, the service was ok. We sat at the bar and the bar tender did a pretty good job, except recommending the most expensive white wine that tasted like a $5.99 special. However, he was prompt and polite. Next, the escargot was poorly seasoned. It had to much of something making it a little bitter and no salt. Then our salad arrived, and had the most boring Ceasar dressing I have ever tasted. It was very thin and lacked any of the usual ingredients Ceasar dressing should have. Not to mention we were lead to believe it was included in the dinner price, but was not. Next, was our entrees. The wife had the ravioli and she did enjoy it, and I had the triple tail. The fish was actually well cooked and the only reason they got two stars, but was not worth $60. Lastly, it was at least 80° inside, and was getting warmer. When we left it was cooler outside, in July, than in the restaurant. Now, I do not mind spending $200+ to take my lovely bride out to dinner. However, if I do spend that much I expect a level of quality commencurate with the bill. That was definitely not the case.

Yelp
Currents' Chateaubriand for two is excellent!! Great sides too! So good we have been unable to bring ourselves to try their other dishes.

Yelp
We had lobster bisque to start and it was delicious. We had to chase down the waitress to get bread because she doesn't check in with us very often. We had to wait long time to order our steaks after receiving our appetizer. We also had their house white Sangrias which also pretty tasty. We'll be coming back to try them again.

Yelp
We stumbled into Currents looking for something more romantic than our usual spots, and we were not disappointed. Absolutely beautiful inside with art deco elements and a delightful staff, Currents is not to me missed. The food is delicious and the chef routinely shows off with specialty menus. Even more exciting, they routinely use their event space for nights out and themed dinners. We have found our new date night spot.

Yelp
A Total hidden gem. I didn't know this part of Tarpon existed. My girlfriends set up a dinner at the restaurant and we were so pleased with everything from the host to the servers and bartender. The food was wonderful. Luckily I went with my foodie girls and we got a little bit of everything. Check out my pictures. The scallop is always a go to and it did not disappoint. The crab cakes were full crab and that's how they should always be. The atmosphere is trendy with a touch of quaint and charming. We could tell there were a lot of locals and that adds to the spark of a place. If someone is able to continually go there then ... it has to be good! I plan on taking the hubby soon!

Yelp
I live in the middle of Kansas City which seems like a fly over state. But the seafood at prime social is tenfold of what I had tonight with prices parallel. With a menu twice the size. Appetizers were decent, bread fantastic, the bread was the highlight in all honesty. Overpriced, under quality, avoid if you can. There is a prime social in Tampa, go there. I wouldn't normally say this but a chain is better than local for fresh catch. Service however was decent but not worth tip I paid on the 300$ bill for 75-100$ quality food. Should've know better given that we were the only party on the host stands tablet when we came in at 7:30

Yelp
The food was delicious, the service was great, and the live music was a nice addition to a wonderful meal. I will definitely visit again!

Yelp
We took the family to Currents for Mother's Day, expecting to experience a wonderful brunch. As per the Website, we expected to order from the regular menu, but, they had a special, very limited, Mother's Day menu instead. There were six of us, and we ordered a variety of food, ranging from basic eggs w/sausage to prime rib, including the lobster bisque. First thing, they served a tiny charcuterie for the six of us. There was never any bread on the table. Two of the orders were wrong. For dietary reasons I can not eat potatoes, and was informed that grits could be substituted, but they were cold when served, and were later replaced with hot(warm) grits. The lobster bisque was extremely salty and there was no indication or taste of lobster in it. Two orders came with cold grits instead of potatoes. Omelet came without spinach as per menu. No salt or pepper on the table. Very inattentive when it came to coffee refills. The prime rib and chicken piccata were fine. All in all, a very memorable disaster of a meal. Unfortunately, we have no reason to return to Currents in the future.

Yelp
Attended a early afternoon catered event at the restaurant. Restaurant interior looked dingy and smelled like mildew . We were served small hamburger and chicken sliders. Burgers were dry, chicken was over fried and dry. Buns were stale. They also served thin pizza that was way over cooked, you couldn't cut it with a knife. For a good sized gathering, in my opinion staff was not adequate and so attention to guests was weak. I saw great reviews from others so was looking forward to nice restaurant w/good food. I am not sure what happened but others in my party felt same. Maybe they had off day but I won't go back again.

Yelp
We stopped into Currents for an early dinner this Thursday. It was our first time in so we decided to order the lamb chops for two special. This included an appetizer, two salads, a huge serving of lamb chops on a mound of mashed potatoes and asparagus spears. A desert was also included, we had the tiramisu. Our server gave us just the right amount of attention. Every employee who approached our table treated us as valued customers. The inside was antique chic with a large bar displaying their extensive collection of liquor. First let's discuss the lobster bisque. We compare all lobster bisque to some that we had years ago in a restaurant in Summit Mall in Akron OH. That restaurant has been closed for many years. Well we have a new best ever bisque. It had a lot of melt-in-your-mouth lobster in a thick, rich, perfectly seasoned base. It gets our highest recommendation. We will be back for it alone. The caesar salads were large and perfectly dressed. I ordered the anchovies on the side with mine. We ended up taking some salad home. The lamb chops for two counted 8 and were the special entree. They were very large, tender and seared a perfect medium rare. The mashed potatoes were nicely seasoned and the asparagus were steamed just right. We ended up taking 3 chops, half of the potatoes and a few asparagus home. Lunch tomorrow will be great. We finished with one of the deserts included with the special, tiramisu. It was served with a huge mound of whipped cream and just right for the two of us. The whole experience was top notch. We will be back next time we want a fine dining night out.

Yelp
Currents on Main Street is our favorite place dine in downtown Tarpon Springs. Seating is walk-in quick most times of the day. Service is fast and efficient, while maintaining a white tablecloth atmosphere. If they're full, step up to the bar where you can order drinks and meals any time. For our most recent experience, we shared their blackened chicken club sandwich $18 from the lunch menu while enjoying happy hour wine and beer. We wanted something satisfying but not over the top, and this menu item was perfect split between the two of us. We were sorely tempted by the flourless chocolate cake with lavender honey ice cream. Next time. Currents hosts events including comedy shows, murder mystery dinners, and other fun activities for couples or groups that are so much fun to participate in.

Yelp
Everything at this restaurant is top notch. Refined elegance at its best, from the smallest touches to the recognition of being a local and always feeling welcomed. The food is sublime, last time I was there I started with the baked Brie and finished with the most incredible Swordfish toppings made by special request. The bartenders are very knowledgeable in many different areas. This restaurant often offers tequila, whiskey and wine tastings. We have also attended one of their special event dinners and had a great time, beautifully executed, wonderful decorations and the fun of making new friends throughout the evening. Erica is a master of taste and decorum, as owner she is often there greeting guests. Currents will soon be a favorite place for you, a place where you can fine dine in Tarpon Springs and also feel like family!

Yelp
We went with some friends on a Friday evening. We had heard only great things about this place, well it did not disappoint. The server was awesome and the food is excellent. It's a gem in our small city. Loved it.

Yelp
Fine dining in Tarpon Springs. They make my favorite Old Fashioned in the area, but it's not just for drinks though they have a nice bar. Laid back and quiet. Chateaubriand was excellent. Salad and Scallops was big and very good. Service was attentive and the live guitar was a nice accompaniment. The menu has changed slightly, but the additions look good. We go for the Chateaubriand. Reservations are easy on their website.

Yelp
Mt friend and I had a magnificent dinner At Currents on Tuesday evening, 10 September 24. It was her second time there and my first. We started with the Beet Salad with Goat Cheese. we both experienced great satisfaction with the mix of Beets, Cheese, and Greens. Her entrée was the sauteed Scallops, mine was the Chesapeake-style Crab Cakes, they were both excellent in taste and satisfaction. We both had a most pleasurable meal. which we topped off with delicious Irish Coffees. We commented on the classic interior design, the comfort, and the excellent service we received from the most amazing staff. I know that we will be visiting here again after having the wonderful total service we received.

Yelp
We had an absolutely amazing dinner last night at Currents for their 15th anniversary. Filet mignon, shrimp risotto, octopus and bread pudding were all fantastic Service and entertainment was great as well

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant multiple times since I am a local in the area. We love supporting local businesses! To our surprise they changed the menu and took out the shrimp and grits and other items. The portions seemed much smaller and the service was very slow when it came to the food. The ambiance is one of my favorites in the area as it reminds me of a small bistro in NYC. I just read some of the reviews and am disappointed as to the owner not refunding people back if not all people show up for a reservation. You should do better as more places are opening all around our area.

Yelp
Went here again. The place was full and overall we had a nice time. We were looking forward to the shrimp and grits they used to have on the menu but no more. So we had the lobster ravioli, seafood pasta dish, grouper special and scallops. All was really good. The Brie appetizer was also very good. Water was served room temp :( and the silverware was very pretty but small and not practical. We did not have dessert but had cappuccinos and by the time they got to us were lukewarm. We may go again at some point but who knows.

Yelp
Went with a group of ten woman for lunch. I ordered a Bacon cheeseburger medium rare+ with fries. The burger was brown and dry. That, along with the fries were way, way over salted. And I am a salt user! The waiter ordered me a replacement which I choose to take with me as the other guests were near done eating. later at home I unwrapped it to take a look. Still brown and dry, more the texture of meatloaf than a burger. No bacon on it this time and way over salted limp fries. Another guest ordered the chicken special and she too was disappointed. it was very dry, came with plain white rice and a vege. Those that ordered the asparagus got two thick stalks each, undercooked and served plain. The atmosphere there is very pleasant but someone needs badly to work on the food. Dorothy McManus

Yelp
So I used this restaurant to host my wedding rehearsal party. When we decided to use this venue for our dinner, the owner was very foward with wanting to make a lasting relationship. Unfortunately we cannot accept it to be long lasting as we have this review to write. When we first sat down and discussed working with them for our dinner party, we gave a budget. We were very specific about what we wanted and all was agreed upon for essentially a per person it would cost for dinner plate, dessert and first hour of alcoholic drinks. Days before the wedding I was contacted with to us, seemed like a change of plans. Wanting to charge us a dollar amount per person that would exceed the cost of the food itself, not taking into account for the cost of the drinks. For myself and my fiancée we felt bait and switch on this as we both recalled the agreement differently. When we arrived for day of our event, the owner was not there, nor did she relay the information to the gentleman in charge of taking care of our party. We had a party of 32 people and stuck our group with one person. As you can imagine it took forever for people to get their food and drinks. Our server did the very best he could and we applauded him for it and thanked Him very much for what he was tasked to do. But certainly this was a two person job. We arrived at 6pm and weren't considered dessert till 830, after I had asked what is to be done about that as everyone was ready to go, at this time our server told me that it would be included in the per person cost, something, that we days ago, had dismissed with the owner due to the bait and switch. So again, I had to explain yo him we would not be paying the per person as the owner went back on the agreement and we would pay per plate, per dessert and cover the first hour of drinks. On our wedding week you can imagine this isn't something we wanted to deal with, the grand total after gratuity came out to a hundred dollars more than budgeted, which we didn't even care about. But the way that I had to explain multiple times was very annoying. Had I not expressed that concern we would have easily paid 20% over what our check was, because of the way the owner was looking to make us pay after we had a verbal agreement. This was the only verbal agreement I had on this wedding and what a mistake that clearly was. If your going to use them for event space, I would suggest a written agreement. Salmon was decent, chicken wasn't bad, half the people who got the filet mignon bolognese were sick. Drinks were decent, desserts were good. I hate to leave bad reviews but I wish I knew this information going in. Best of luck to those in the future.

Yelp
Four of us went to dinner for the first time on December 28, 2023. Unfortunately, we didn't have a positive experience, which I wrote to them about on their own website ("chat") but they chose not to respond . I have provided them significant time but since they chose not to, well, here goes. Very nice ambiance. Hostess was pleasant when seating us. The warm bread was very nice as well as the crab bisque that 2 of us got. The salads arrived soon afterwards which were good but our dinners arrived before we could finish our salads. Waitstaff stood there trying to place our meals on the table, so we rushed through eating the salad or didn't finish it. The red bottle of wine that my husband and I ordered was opened and instead of pouring a small amount into the wine glass to taste prior to serving, a full glass was poured. Then the cork was inserted back into the bottle. Red wines stay open to breathe. Our waiter was not engaging and had a downer of a personality. At first we thought he had a dry sense of humor, which we welcome, but that was not the case. He mentioned that there were several menu items already not available - not a reflection on him - but were surprised since we were there early - a 6p reservation. He highly recommended the sea scallops with crab cake (said the scallops were huge), which I ordered. It was fishy smelling and typical size. Two of us ordered two of the last available three Chilean Sea Bass and thankfully, for the price, were delicious. The steak entree was also very good. In serving, a waiter reached across the table and handed a plate to my husband asking him to assist. There was plenty of room for him to walk around the table to serve properly. After we were done eating, yet a different waiter arrived and placed another entree in front of my husband. Wrong table and no awareness that we finished dinner. When we asked about desserts, we were told that they weren't good and "I wouldn't get any." We didn't order anything else. The bill arrived and thankfully, the other guest we were with noticed that gratuity was already included. There was no mention of this nor did we see anything written on the menu about it - surprising because we were only a party of 4. It would have been very easy to mistakenly leave up to a 40% tip on an already very expensive dinner check. We are residents of Palm Harbor and frequent Tarpon Springs. It has been a desire of ours to dine at Currents for years. After finally going and expecting a great experience all the way around at this fine dine establishment, the entire experience fell short of expectations. Spending hundreds of dollars on just two of us should have translated to a positive, memorable experience - from the food to the service, which ultimately makes the night. Unfortunately, the lack of service/attention and concerns that I expressed to them shortly after our visit went ignored. We will never go back and have expressed our disappointment to our friends and family, and finally here. Margo Espinosa

Yelp
My wife and I reserved Currents for a Christmas Eve dinner. They had special menu seatings for 5pm & 8pm. We arrived at 4:45pm for our 5pm dinner. I have never had such poor service ever before. They were ill prepared for the evening. It was over 30 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order and another 20 minutes before we received our cocktails. They had a large group in the back which seemed to be getting all the attention while we were being ignored. After 1hour they finally took our dinner order and it was another 20 minutes before we got our appetizer. Then we waited and waited for our main course. We were so irritated we finally told them to forget the rest of our dinner, and we would pay for what little we had consumed in almost 2hours of sitting. We left and will never return. It was to be a special holiday evening that turned so bad. Currents used to be one of our special occasion places, but has become a high priced restaurant with poor service. This is not the server's faults, but poor management. Be warned if you are considering going there.

Yelp
Great service, food and ambiance! Their lobster bisque is the best I've ever had! I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Wonderful ambience with a wonderful menu. The service was amazing! Our server Kami was friendly, knowledgeable and had great recommendations... anything you have questions on, she had all the answers! Reservations needs or get here early! A must in downtown Tarpon Springs!

Yelp
We had our rehearsal dinner at currents and I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with their event planning and execution! My rehearsal dinner was planned to be outside in my back yard, but we had a hurricane literally hitting that day so I contacted them a couple days before to hold the event there and they came through smooth and the event was beautiful!!! Food was amazing Decor was perfect for our theme Service was top notch I would 100% have more events here! Thank you Currents for saving our day!

Yelp
We went back to Currents today to celebrate with friends the event of our 50th Wedding anniversary. We had 7 people with us, 4 separate checks. First I will compliment Ryan our serve who was beyond attentive, he was very thorough. We were taken back by the gratuity being added to our checks at the 22%, to each of our checks, now we are generally very generous with our tipping and to add this at this rate was insulting. No further tip was given. Probably would have given more if the AC or ceiling fan was working, very uncomfortable on the very warm day in May. But nothing more because they forced 22%. I ordered bourbon neat....two pours for $28, then a $4 charge for NEAT! What is that about? Our roast filet at $106 for 2 was full of grizzle and fat. Further it was supposed to be served with asparagus and it was offered with spinach or carrots. Not to my expectations for 2 glasses of wine, 2 appetizers, one tea, 2 bourbons, and a shared bread pudding. $306. With $51 tip. Don't bother going here, try Berns in Tampa. Gave one star for Ryan our server.

Yelp
I made reservations for Mother's Day and was told I have to do $120 deposit since I will have six people. I called the day before and told them only five can make it and would like my deposit refunded. After two calls they have yet to refund me. About the food and the Buffet. We were charged $69 per person and all they had was it was a pasta station ,some cold seafood, and some chicken and crabcakes. They did not have a carving station or any desserts, and did not include any drinks except water or tea. I feel like the price was high, considering what they served. I will not be returning and my family felt it was way over price for what we got.

Yelp
Mouth-watering food, amazing service, and the ambiance is perfect. Our absolute favorite restaurant in Tarpon!

James G.

Yelp
We went there on a Monday night. We were not told it was a limited menu. Also found out the refrigerator was out. All that being said the food was good, the service was good. What I was most disappointed in was the fact that we were offered a choice of house salad or caesar salad and was up charged $4.00 each for the Caesar salads. Also, they brought 6 salads to the table with only 5 people and were charged for 3 Caesar salads when we only had 2. What astonished me the most though was that I was charged $4.00 for ice. I ordered a crown Royal on the rocks and there was a $4.00 charge for "rocks". I wish I could give it a better review and I do not mind paying well for a quality meal, but I do not like getting nickel and dimed.

Yelp
This restaurant is a good place for a special occasion. Fine dining but a bit pricey for the amount of food i ordered. It was very good though. Service was adequate as was the ambiance.

Yelp
Sadly I will not be returning to this restaurant again. I attended two weeks ago with my group of friends, and an uncomplicated meal took 2 1/2 hours on a Tuesday evening when the place was only half full at 6:30 when we arrived. My friend had to pay $160 upfront for a reservation for 8 people, and only 7 were able to attend. They refused to refund the full $160 because we were short one person (refunded$140).... Said it was because of lost revenue from the 8th person. On a Tuesday night in a half full restaurant! Ridiculous.... We have never been to a restaurant with this type of practice, and poor customer service. It has cost them all future business from our group of 8!! So sad for them.....

Yelp
This was a place that we stopped in on New Year's Eve. We ended up getting their New Year's Eve menu. My friends and I share the bruschetta, crab cakes, I had a lobster bisque as did my friend and we also have a French bread. It is definitely a little bit on the pricey side but everything we ate was really delicious. Also the restaurant has like a nice elegant but casual feel which is really really nice. I would have to say I tried my friends crab cake and that was really good but my favorite was the bruschetta. I will say for the amount of bruschetta that they give more toasted rounds would be nice as there was more bruschetta than bread to put the bruschetta on. Overall this is a nice little place to stop in for a quick lunch and the wait staff were very nice. Definitely a nice place to stop in if you're in the downtown Tarpon Springs area.

I wish I could give separate stars for service and food. The food was amazing after we got over them not having Scallops or Rack of Lamb (which we had been craving). The service not so much. The place was not crowded but it took 15 min. to get my very very sour cocktail and 30 min for our salads. While we was leaving I noticed other guests had bread baskets and I asked "should we have had bread?" the response was "Yes, you didn't get bread with your salad?" Really, You been serving all night and didn't notice we didn't have a bread basket, smh. To close, food is 5 stars service 3 stars. I don't know if it was because we are people of color that my cocktail took so long and not noticed that I only had a sip and it sat the entire meal, we never received bread, salad took long, over an hour for the main course and finally the staff took pictures of other patrons in their Valentine attire and no one asked if we would like our picture taken at any time. The food was delicious but we will Never return.

Yelp
We had dinner here to celebrate a family members birthday. The service was good, the atmosphere was ok and the kitchen left much to be desired. Several dishes arrived with issues. The portions were small - asparagus was two small stalks and bland rice and potatoes were maybe 3/4 cup. Nothing arrived hot, temperature was lukewarm at best. My husband ordered the sea bass special - and this is on him for not asking the price - the dish was $58! If the food had been hot and flavorful, perhaps he would have felt it was worth the price.

Yelp
This is by far THE BEST restaurant in the area and believe me I've tried them all. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic evening, girls night out or family celebration. Eating here at least 2 nights a week we've tried almost everything on the menu. I promise this chef is better than what you'll find at some of the supposed 5 resorts in the area. If you're in the mood for beef go for the short rib, feeling fish go for the blackened snapper. The jumbo shrimp and grits are the best in town. I promise you'll find no better. The grits with fontina cheese and Cajun crema are nothing short of delectable. James behind the bar is incredibly talented and creative. Oh and Do not skip the lobster bisque and the Caesar salad is our go-to every dang time! So freaking good. We're addicted to this place and we know you'll love it too!

Yelp
Heard this was the best steak in Tarpon Springs. Brought my son for dinner. We ordered this steak meal to share for $88 and a bowl of lobster bisqu. The biscue was very salty and a thick cream, maybe one or 2 little pieces of lobster in it. It was not good at all. Next the salad came out. only one dressing available. Very Bland. n Next the mashed potatoes and steak we ordered medium was more than rare... nothing had any flavor. The mushrooms were in the most horrible white sauce that was sweet or something. I love mushrooms and steak. This we couldn't eat.. Very disappointed in the food for spending over $100 without alcoholic drinks and the waitress didn't seem to care we were not happy with this food.

Yelp
Love the shrimp & grits. The drinks are always made just right. Music. Local place with great staff.

Yelp
Amazing service - and the best crab cakes, braised short ribs and crème brûlée... oh yeah - and the muddled margarita and wine selection is superb as well!

Yelp
What a great place! We took my boyfriend out for his birthday and he picked this place. Definitely high-end but worth every penny. The house salad is huge to start with and the bread to die for. He got the roasted duck and I got the pan seared salmon. The neighbors got filet mignon and shrimp with scallops pasta. Everything looked yummy. See the pictures. Our server James was attentive and right on point. I have nothing bad to say. Lighting perfect and elegant. Highly recommend give them a try. We even got a free slice of key lime pie with raspberry sauce for his birthday. I normally wouldn't put key lime with raspberry but honestly it was delicious!

Yelp
Service was phenomenal. You can tell all the meals are truly home cooked. Everything was very fresh and delicious. We had 2 Tapas, lobster bisque and 4 unique entrees and they were all great!

Yelp
he Palm Harbor Chamber was well taken care of today as usual. We love the food and service. It's a great space for 75 of us which is hard to find. Thank you for exceeding our expectations again.

Yelp
My family held a Celebration of Life for my late grandmother at Currents this past weekend. What was a really difficult day was made a bit better by the exceptional service and care from Currents (and the spanakopita, we cannot forget the spanakopita). We filled the event room with lots of pink, pictures, and poems. The staff kept the food coming, the water topped off, and even serviced the room for the cash bar. I was really appreciative of their care. And really impressed by the space itself. Tarpon Springs is so lovely and this unassuming building boasts a dope event room! Who would have thought?! The event room is fully AV equipped. There is a large projector screen, and it has it's own restroom.
