Got the burrito combo box on Uber Eats BOGO promo, the burrito was huge and probably weighed 2lbs, it was completely packed with rice but the spices probably cardamom was overwhelming, couldn't finish it and not much protein in the burrito. Samosa was good and loved it with the mint sauce.

Google
Awesome lowkey spot in ucsd campus I would say it’s really well put together with some authentic North Indian flavors. I get the thali but I have been trying more and more things there m, my fav place nearby my house

Google
By vegan burrito was SO GOOD! Shoutout to the nice guy working who recommended it to me. It also comes with a free chai!!!! Both guys working were so helpful and nice! Food was delicious :)

Google
The cashiers here are very funny and friendly, especially Noah and Tim. The food is nice and very filling, can last you up to a whole day if you have their burritos for breakfast. Would recommend to anyone their pizzas and the fried stuffs. Great service and food overall.

Google
I really enjoy this place! I go here almost every day and the Hella Vegan bowl (in the picture) is by far my favourite. Depending on when you go the wait time will range from absolutely no wait to maybe 5-10 minutes (never anything outrageous though). The staff is always friendly and always hooks me up with the portions. I highly recommend this place and since opening it has become my favourite place to eat on campus!

Google
This place is situated in UCSD campus. The food is super basice and no matter what you get, all of it tastes the same. I had lots of hopes with this place as I been to other curry up now but this one is not even close

Google
It was my second time trying Indian food & I really liked it! The basmati rice and chicken and paneer tikka masala were very flavorful. The naan was crunchy and appeared to be overbaked. Overall it was a very satisfying and filling meal, would come again. The cashier guy, Noah? also has great customer service.

Google
Wowoow!! The Best Indian food!! The Samosa Chaat dish is incredible. The perfect blend of flavors. Will definitely return

Yelp
Hot. Creamy. Moist. Food bussed Best food on campus since it actually has flavor. Fast and friendly customer service from Noah.

Yelp
i dont eat indian food so maybe im wrong but flavor was weak, portion small, price high Summary: Taste = taste of food Value = price, expertise, other non-food logistics Novelty = memorability among competitors Taste 1/5, Value 1/5, Novelty 2/5. Final score 1/5

Yelp
Its in a food court type of set up- plenty of tables but can get a little crowded. I walked there from work since it seems like parking can be an issue. The food itself was absolutely delicious though.

Yelp
for 10 bucks, the tikka and rice plate was actually gas. my homie told me this place was gonna be trash but this place far exceeded my expectations. the tikka had a bunch of spices and was very aromatic n fragrant. rice was also very tasty. i came towards the end of the day n it wasn't dry or anything. still hella moist n shi. oh and the employee at the front was also very nice and chill. we started conversating bout sacramento which is where im from. yeah but very solid place! you get a solid amount of food for 10 bucks

Yelp
My husband brought this home as his company ordered from this place. The food is so amazing! I love Indian food. I've tried both the samosas and the Tikka Masala burrito. The samosas has a great kick to it. It's so flavorful! The Tikka Masada burrito is on point with the flavor. I have never tried a Indian curry burrito so this was so fun to eat! I definitely recommend it!

Yelp
Really fast service the food It's okay, I usually get this place if I'm in a hurry. The chicken tikka masala and people are nice and the place looks clean. The portion sizes vary from time to time but overall not a bad place if you are at UCSD

Yelp
One of the better options for dining in Price Center, especially if you're craving curry. The first time I visited here the portions were a bit slim but since then they've amped up their game. The menu has a lot of fun options and the service is pretty fast. I highly recommend grabbing a Tikka Masala Burrito if you need a bite on the go!

Yelp
So, my wife and I were looking for a place to eat last Saturday evening before the Death Cab for Cutie concert at the new Epstein Amphitheater. Surprisingly -- especially considering it was Homecoming weekend -- most restaurants on campus were closed. So we headed over to the Price Center to see what was available. Curry Up Now had been on my radar because, (A) we love Indian food, and (B) they have lots of vegan options. We were happy to see that Curry Up Now was open -- we checked out the menu then placed our order. My wife and I both got the Hella Vegan Bowls, which were excellent. We also got a side order of two samosas. Our order was ready within five minutes or so. It turned out to be a TON of food. I finished off my bowl, but there was no way my wife could finish hers. And there was no way we could even think about eating the samosas -- we were stuffed. Took the leftovers home after the concert and enjoyed them for the next couple days. Excellent food and service at a very reasonable price. We'll be back again and again to check out ALL the vegan options.

Yelp
Located at UC San Diego, I almost missed this place because it was somewhat tucked away in the corner. I remember enjoying this place when I tried it in the Bay Area and it did not disappoint here in La Jolla. Pros: -quick service. It was a few minutes and my order was ready -the samosas are large, flaky, and I love the sauce - they take Triton Cash -friendly staff Cons: -n/a Other: -I read some reviews about the portion size. I felt that I was provided a decent amount of food on 9/23/22. It can get pricey depending what you order but I was happy with my order.

Yelp
So I ordered the Punjabi by Nature burrito because I've never seen anything like that from an Indian restaurant and I LOVED IT! First of, it was HUGE! I hadn't had food for 12 hours, so you could imagine I was starving. But even then, I couldn't even finish the whole burrito! It was stuffed with lots of perfectly seasoned and cooked rice, paneer, chickpeas, onion and chicken. What surprised me the most was the amount of flavor!! so delicious. Wish there were more locations, so I could easily try the other menu items. Service was super quick. I came at 2pm on a weekday with no line, and my burrito was made in 1 minute.

Yelp
Campus food is usually a letdown, but Curry Up Now changed everything. When Noah was assembling my tikka masala burrito, I couldn't help but watch him work. With every smooth, confident motion, it felt like he knew exactly how to wrap it up tight, making sure every inch was packed to perfection. His hands were steady, his focus intense, and the way he handled the fillings had me feeling... like maybe I needed to come back for seconds. The burrito was big, juicy, and full of flavor--just like Noah's technique.

Yevin C.

Yelp
I don't usually eat on campus, however as I was perusing through my eyes fell upon this one worker... Noah. I'll never forgot his name or face. For some reason, I felt a sort of pull towards this person. He was stationed at this place. It had a nice atmosphere with pleasant smells drifting to my nose from where I stood. However, my eyes were still fixated on this man. I went up nervously and stated that I was vegetarian and wondered if there were any meals he would recommend for me as I have never eaten here before. Noah looked up with his brown eyes and confidently gave me a recommendation. I was taken aback by his confidence but I took it with stride and ordered it. As I paid and waited for my food to be finished, my eyes couldn't help but drift towards how he was preparing my food. Like the way he talked, he moved with confidence and assurance that the food he will give me would change the course of my life. And it did! It was so savory & crunchy & creamy in all the right ways. But it truly was Noah himself who elevated my experience at this food establishment. I will never forget him.

Yelp
Delicious food. I have ordered twice from here and both the times the food and packaging was amazing. Love it

Emilio N.

Yelp
My favorite place in price center. Fast service and fresh food. Even during rush hour when everybody is out of classes getting their lunch, they'll get your food out quicker than most other spots on campus.

Yelp
The Samosa Chaat is life changing! An incredible mix of flavors. Will definitely get that appetizer again and go back for a visit.
google avatar

Angie V.

Yelp
Hella vegan Samosas: I really like their samosa and always get it Hella vegan rice bowl: this is my go to. Get full and tasty samosa as a meal. Samosa hella vegan burrito: good but then the samosa gets soggy. Lots of rice No allergen issues A bit expensive for college students

Yelp
It's like the owners wanted to answer the question how low can our quality possibly be . It's hard to tell what inspired this bizarre creation but alas, here we are. Overuse of fake non-traditional oil, strange presentation and inauthentic flavor. It's basically cafeteria style, so I don't even count service as something to review. The list goes on and on. Place looks like a strip mall joint - typical. Save yourself some trouble and go to Artesia.
google avatar

Isamu G.

Yelp
I always get lunch here. Recommend the curry burritos and curry plates. Always come with the complementary chai and biscuits if you ask for it! The place is takeout but I like the ambiance of price center.
google avatar

Majin B.

Yelp
Most of the food is excellent. All the kinds of naan - especially the naughty naan - are really good. I also recommend getting sexy fries, ravioli, and the burritos. The bowls and plates are good too, but you'd get a lot more satisfaction from the stuff I previously listed. Also, the cashier Tim and the blonde girl up front are super friendly and great to get along with.

Nick O.

Yelp
This place is my favorite food on campus. The butter chicken is tasteful and the burritos done well too. I get the butter chicken over rice (or a butter chicken burrito and sometimes samosas) at least 2 times a week it's that good.

Sabrina W.

Yelp
one of my favorite place to grab for lunch at price center. it has a bunch of vegan or vegetarian options which i love and has amazing variety. the mango lassi is to die for and the mini samosas are just so cute and beautifully flakey. the customer service was also amazing especially from noah. he was efficient and so friendly that i didn't have to stress about pronouncing things wrong .

Yelp
From afar, as I had entered Price Center, an incredible aroma wrapped around me. Looking around, I tried to figure out where it was coming from. With each step closer, my heart raced faster and I couldn't tell if it was the scent or something more. Just then, a buff sexy gentleman brushed past me, lightly tapping my shoulder. "Hey my name is Noah, you look hungry," he said, a knowing smile on his lips. "Are you ready to fill your mouth with something delicious that I have to offer?" I locked eyes with him and blushed, nodding without a second thought. He led me to this amazing place that Im currently writing a review for, and the intoxicating aroma filled the air even more, like an orchestra building to a crescendo. As I attempted to order a Chicken Tikka Masala Burrito, I could barely speak, stuttering over every word I said and practically salivating as the smell hit me even harder. The gentleman leaned in closer to me, and put a gentle finger to my lips, and whispered, "Don't worry. Papa Noah already knows what you want and need."He went to work, showing off his sensuous moves in the kitchen, each motion smooth, precise, utterly hypnotic as I watched. Finally, he came out the kitchen, burrito in his big veiny hands, looking right into my eyes. A K-drama soundtrack seemed to play in the background as he slowly interlocked his fingers with mine while handing over the burrito. In that moment, I swear, angels and cupids surrounded us, and I could practically see an officiant ready to declare us to be together. With now the massive burrito in my hand, I unwrapped it and took a massive bite, it felt like fireworks exploded in my mouth as the creamy sauce coated each bite with the perfect blend of warm spices. By the time I finished, I felt like I had just experienced a love story for the ages that we can eventually tell to our kids and grandkids in the future.

Yelp
Small portion with poorly-trained staff. As a student, my main concern is eating good food with affordable price, but in Curry Up, the $10 rice plate only give me this tiny box. I only took two bites and I see the bottom. It is NOT enough! The cashier very confidently said their Tikka Masala is not spicy at all, but I took the bites and my tougue hurts. I also don't understand when they only have 3 orders, why it took so long to get me a pre-cooked rice plate. This is really the last straw and I am not going to eat here anymore.

Binita P.

Yelp
I went to curry up now at UCSD and ordered samosa chaat. What they gave me didnot look like samosa chaat at all. There was one samosa drowned in pool of yougurt. Is that what a samosa chaat is? No that is nowhere a samosa chaat. I really got upset and disappointed because its my hard earned money and I am wasting that money on food that is terrible. Please donot do that. We all work hard to earn money. Check your food before serving it to your customers. Donot play with our gut health.

Yelp
I saw it was too near to my place, so I had to try it. We were too excited that we ordered quite a lot that day! The pizza naan, Samosa chat, vada pav, and a bowl. The only thing I didn't like was the curry in the bowl, it was too bland for me. Everything else was too good

Yelp
great food great service Fantastic for students and health patients

Yelp
Ya know that feeling when food brings back a flood of wonderful memories from your childhood? That's what I experienced after ordering from here. I got some simple Chicken Tikka Masala and Rice as well as the Pani Puri via Ubereats and they were PERFECT. Taste, consistency, etc. was the best Indian food I've had in San Diego thus far that wasn't part of some insanely expensive sit-down restaurant. Seriously, the Pani Puri alone was worth and hit me right in the feels. Reminded me of all the times I snuck over to my friend's house for his mom's cooking. Negative -- portions are a little smaller for the prices (just enough to get full but some places do give ya more). If you're in the mood for some Indian classics, give these guys a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Audrey W.

Yelp
I mobile ordered for pickup and the service was great. So was the food- I got samosas, plain and burnt chili naan, and paneer tikka.

Tyrone E.

Yelp
Where do I even begin? I stepped up to the counter to be greeted by a stunning individual. After locking eyes I noticed the name tag, Noah, like the arc, how fitting. I began to eye the menu as there was no line, oh what a menu it was. Rice, chicken, the list goes on. Sir Noah was kind enough to recommended the tiki masala. I was so enamored by his bulked physique that I immediately said yes. His warm smile brightened by day as I placed my order. I thought about a life together but no, not now, have to have my food. So I waited, waited for such a short time, the service here was unbelievable, who would've thought a little place on campus could be so kind and unique. When my name was called, Noah made sure to address me with a smile, this would not be the last time we talked. I walked to a small table where I could gaze at Sir Noah as I opened up the container to reveal a beautiful chicken dish with rice, I was in awe. As Noah and I locked eyes I proceeded to take a bite of my food, wow. Wow is the only word that could describe the unbelievable experience I had here. Noah blew me a kiss as I ate. As I finished up my meal I had to tell Noah how much the food meant to me, so I did. I went up to the counter and told him about the food and after work we actually hung out after his shift because I was so intrigued by this mystery Curry Up Now man. I waited there for 5 hours locking eyes and chit chatting as he was busy with other customers. We held hands as we walked around campus discovering new places we have never seen. Overall the meal was good but customer service wasn't the best, 8/10.

Yelp
Best indian food on campus. Must try dishes - vadapav samosa chaat Burrito Rice bowl Papdi chaat Burrito is really big more than enough for one perso. Vadapav is good in comparison with Mumbai's original vadapav.

Tarun K.

Yelp
Great food! We went as a group and truly enjoyed the delicious food. The staff was courteous and the friendly. Menu was easy to follow to choose from, even for a first time visitor.

Pranav K.

Yelp
Great service and food. Recommend this for trying indian food. A good food outlet at UCSD
google avatar

Fehmina H.

Yelp
Great burrito! Packed with flavour and spice. It really hit the spot. Would definitely recommend getting the tikka masala burrito from here!

Gary Z.

Yelp
Ordering online is next to impossible. Ordering through delivery apps does not work. On top of that, there is no person to talk to. Just text messages from people who have no idea how to trouble shoot. This was my second attempt at ordering for 10 friends. Curry up now you lost out on 2 large orders at 2 separate occasions. GET IT FIXED...WE REALLY WANT TO SUPPORT YOU.
google avatar

Varuna R.

Yelp
This is regarding the interface. While placing the same order on the app and 2 different browsers, i kept getting the same error, "error invaliding basket." Their is no one to talk to. You can only communicate through text messages. I canceled my whole large order for family and friends.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been a fan of Curry up Now since they were a single food truck in Burlingame in the Bay Area. They've grown so much and I'm stoked they're finally in San Diego! This is some of the BEST Indian street food you'll find anywhere! The samosa chaat and paneer tikka masala burrito have been my all-time favorites but there isn't anything on the menu I dislike. Lots of options for vegans and vegetarians as well. Will be a frequent flyer here for sure!

Connie R.

Yelp
Very tasty and great service! Thank you! I will definitely be ordering again! I tried the Hella' Vegan Bowl and was very pleasantly surprised with the first bite. It was full of flavor!
google avatar

Bonnie T.

Yelp
food is excellent. ready right at time ordered. hard to find Indian street food is here!

Sara L.

Yelp
Best Indian street food I've had in San Diego!! Meal ready within minutes of ordering.

Gude T.

Yelp
good ambience, food is good at Irvine location and staff were nice. lots of different things to choose from with an amazing presentation.
google avatar

Arnav G.

Yelp
I think that the place has some really good Indian food. coming from India , it does seem a little overpriced but that's true for any Indian restaurant in the States. I think it keeps my personal go to sneak at this place is the naughty naan as it enough in itself for a meal and is very delicious.
google avatar

Matt G.

Yelp
Super fast, super good. About the same price as everything else around there. 2nd favorite to the Gyro across the way.

Nehal P.

Yelp
We ordered kachori chat and naughty paneer tikka naan. Both were super delicious. The guy who was preparing food, knows the Indian taste. As an Indian customer I would give 5/5. Plus free chai with parle biscuits was awesome. Found better Indian street food place after long time in San diego. Must visit place!

Shaurya S.

Yelp
This a restaurant that reminds me of home. Food is really good and service is fast.
google avatar

Ranjani R.

Yelp
We went there for campus tour . The food was amazing. Vada pav and paneer tikka burrito was great! Lot of vegetarian options.

Bianca lynn J.

Yelp
It wasn't worth the &17.50 I paid the samosa was flavorless but the tiki masala was good and the hello vegan bowl was not good

Kevin T.

Yelp
A mister Noah served me here. It was an exquisite experience from the moment we locked eyes. He held my hand as I was guided through the menu. "I highly recommend the tikka masala burrito" he told me, eyes hungry for more than just a delicious burrito. So I bought it. We enjoyed it together, on top of each other's bodies. Noah and I are now married and have 15 children, with many more on the way .

Mike M.

Yelp
Not sure what they are thinking with this spot. Seen so many different faces here working its no wonder the quality isn't any good. Used to see a guy who worked the front that had glasses....the few times i ate he was there cooking and for whatever reason when he was there, the food was great. Not to mention he knew how to talk and upsell. Great toast on the vada pav buns, proper portions and his burritos were wrapped properly and werent a mess to eat. Dont see him anymore and sadly will probably not eat here again unless i come by and hes working. Theres definitely better options at PC and coming from a 4th year whos ate just about everything on campus repeatedly, thats saying a lot.

Andrés L.

Yelp
I order from there about once a week. It's very good. I order online so that I don't have to wait in line and it's ready in a few minutes. My favorite dishes are the hella vegan bowl and the hella vegan burrito.
