Custard Corner

I highly recommend the Samoa specialty and the strawberry shortcake ice cream! Those 2 are my favorites! We love coming here often because of the amazing ice cream and the prices are very affordable for a family of 5. The service is always great and it’s a short walk to Elizabeth Park.

Love frozen custard and waffle cones. Transferred here from bob Joe's on Quarry rd. I frequented there as a teen with my sister and brother. Continued there with two different boyfriends. Took both of my daughters there as children. Went there occasionally on my lunch hour at three different Dealerships I worked at. Chrysler, Pontiac, GMC truck and Ford. Love frozen custard better than ice cream. Lenore.

Absolutely love this place, just wish the flavors lasted longer. I never get the one that drew me in. BUT------ EXCELLENT service and very attentive. I go there often but the lasti needed 4 pup cups for my Gypsy's Birthday. Not only did she give me them she offered peanut butter sauce to drizzle on top. They even wrote "Happy Birthday Gypsy" on the bag. Each pup was elated, especially the birthday girl Gypsy.

Our favorite summer spot! So many choices with fun staff suggestions and contests. They also have a custard vending machine you can access when they’re closed.

It’s how a business handles a complaint that shows a lot! The employee handled mine very well. Having been in customer service a LONG time, I was thoroughly impressed. The staff must be trained very well, kudos to the owner.

Absolutely LOVE this place. They offer different flavors every week,which is great. They always have young people who seem like they actually enjoy helping people. We get here as often as our blood sugar will allow. Lol

You know these guys are dedicated to dishing out ice cream when they have a 365-day working vending machine and also do a pop-up shop in the winter time. Cute place. Fast service, LOTS of options, rotating special flavors every week all the way into autumn with their pumpkin fusion flavors. They really know how to celebrate with ice cream, always! It makes going to this area even more fun. I do have one suggestion: please keep blue moon as a permanent flavor!!!

I love their custard I've been coming here since I moved to Michigan ( about 14 years ) and it's the best custard. It's not too sweet and they are always fast handing it out I never have to wait long. I love it here.

Custard here is still too airy for me, but Custard Corner is the clear winner in the local debate vs Bob Jo's. The flavors here taste much less artificial, plus this location cannot be beat, especially if you want to go for a lovely walk with your ice cream in the nearby Elizabeth Park! It's gorgeous. This whole neighborhood is cute AF. Service was friendly and super quick. They offered real hard shell that had a good flavor. We ordered small twist custard cones and had the most delightful time wandering nearby with them.

I have always passed this place and today was the first time trying it! Wonderful custard, I had the seasonal pumpkin! I definitely will make a stop here again in the Spring! Great service!

Custard Corner is our jam when in Trenton/passing through. There are two flavors of the day which you can get swirled. Yum! Custard is the BEST! Custard Corner is located close to the entrance of Elizabeth Park.

From a chocolate lover, Pretty disappointed in my "twist" cone, 99% vanilla. Next time I'll go with all chocolate. The custard itself was creamy but ratio left me wishing I ordered something else.

A walk in ice cream shop with outdoor seating. Their prices are extremely reasonable and every employee seems happy to be working there. I have been there four times in the last month and never been disappointed.

Visiting Michigan for a wedding and found a little corner custard shop that you walk up to window and order. I got the cherry dip on a waffle cone and bf got the soft serve. First time having custard. It was creamy and rich and delicious. Could've used more of the dip, though. Bring the kids......and the adults.

this place is awful literally worse than the green bay packers never go here. when you can go across the street or to scoopys for so much better quality and service. worst ice cream shop to exist if i were to poison someone this is what i would get them not a treat that is supposed to be good this is the complete opposite. this place sucks never stepping foot near it again.

This has quickly become our favorite spot for ice cream (sorry Dairy Queen). The custard is so rich and creamy, a small cup or cone is plenty. The weekly special flavors just mean you need to visit more frequently - but be advised, they do run out of those. Lemon and cherry were incredible! Never fear though, you can't go wrong with a simple a twist of chocolate and vanilla.

The best custard on planet earth. Best people working and owners. People often speak of the parking which they have NO CONTROL OVER. There is parallel parking on West Jefferson so it is NO BIG DEAL. It's an old neighborhood building you can't change parking dynamics people ! Go enjoy the best custard on earth! Been coming 12 miles for 14 years!!!! See you next spring 2023 !

Waited in line behind a group of teenagers to order. When they moved to the side for me to order they turned off the lights and the group of teens went inside and started getting whatever they wanted. It was weird. I just left. Definitely will not be back.

My favorite spot since moving! Maybe I'm seeking out comfort food..who knows and who cares..everyone wins with ice cream. The staff are a younger crowd but everyone is so friendly. I actually prefer soft serve so I get that every time. I order a flurry with cookie dough and snickers (a treat since DQ got rid of it) and I'm never disappointed. My partner gets the toasted coconut custard and it's wonderful. The price point is very decent and they definitely don't over charge, portions sizes are large even for the kids size.

Custard Corner has become our go to spot and rivals Bob Jo's for the best custard Downriver. This downtown Trenton gem is also within walking distance of Elizabeth Park.

Love this place! Located conveniently within walking distance of the beautiful Elizabeth Park. Custard Corner is the best I've found since my local frozen custard haunt in royal oak. They change up their flavors regularly, but don't fret, the basics are always on tap. Their toasted coconut is a huge favorite & I'm always a sucker for their vanilla chocolate twist. They also specialize in seasonal & holiday inspired blizzards. I urge anyone who likes custard, frozen yogurt or ice cream to stop in this summer and give them a try. I give 4 stars as their parking situation is not very good. 3 spaces available for a busy mom & pop establishment.

SUPER yummy custard at fair prices. The dude assembling my order got it slightly wrong (wanted a cone and not a cup) but wasn't bothered enough to correct them. Parking isn't the best since it's a spot on a corner, but it shouldn't bother anyone to mosey a bit and get in line.

Wow! This is one of those small mom and pop shops that blows the chains out of the water!! Best frozen custard I've ever had. That's a lot coming from me as I'm a bit if a dessert snob lol.

Delicious!!! I love that they have the "ice cream truck" options for my kids who don't always have interest in the unique custard flavors! Great prices and an awesome location for a walk in the park while you eat your desert!

Since I live across the street, I appreciate that they rotate the custard and yogurt flavors. I try and go each week to try the new feature, and there hasn't been one I haven't liked yet. I have to admit, though, I have not tried the hand scooped or soft serve before. The custard, though, is great.

Best custard ever! Very creamy and not too sugary. It's surprising how few places sell classic custard any more. This place is a local favorite spot and only opens in the summer months.
