The 13 Best Restaurants in Aventura and Sunny Isles | Eater Miami

"Chef Juan Chipoclo’s other Aventura restaurant, next door to Pollos & Jarras, is known for its standout Peruvian cuisine, featuring dishes like lomo saltado (beef stir fry), aji de gallina (Peruvian curry), and sopa parihuela (spicy seafood soup). Lambayeque’s chicha de jora (corn beer) pairs well with a touch of leche de tigre. The pisco sour, a classic Peruvian cocktail, is offered in various versions, including the Inferno, mixed with Ancho verde, mango, cilantro, lime juice, and a hint of smoky spray." - Eater Staff

We found this place by chance after arriving in Miami. While looking for places to eat around Aventura Mall, we noticed it had great reviews, and it did not disappoint! Everything we tried was amazing. The chifle they brought out when we sat down (our first time trying it) was so good, the ceviche appetizer was fresh and flavorful, and my main dish pasta with steak medallions was outstanding. The menu originally listed gnocchi, but they didn’t have it that day, so they offered another type of pasta instead. Honestly, I’m glad I went with it because it was perfect. The steak was cooked just right, the pasta was excellent, and the sauce tied it all together beautifully. My husband ordered the lomo saltado, which was also delicious. For drinks, I had the lychee hibiscus martini. It was sweet, refreshing, and one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend this restaurant to others!

First time going to Aventura location. Food was amazing from appetizers to main course. Service was excellent. I gave a four star to atmosphere due to women’s bathroom alike men’s bathroom not being clean and not having toiletries in stalls and paper towels to dry hands. However, overall experience was good. Hopefully they will improve in bathroom cleanliness. I will be returning due to food and service.

I ordered the chef's special and the torta de mousse de Lucama. The chefs special had a fried Mahi Mahi, flavorful ceviche, and a avocado tuna. This trio was recommended and was enough for 2 people. Great spot for families or couples. Good portions and flavorful food, our server Juan Daniel was very attentive and helped us pick out the perfect dish if the menu feels too large.

We had such a great experience at this Peruvian restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and vibrant — the perfect balance of cozy and lively. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavors and beautifully presented. What made the night even better was our server, Yaini. He was so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on and he made us feel truly welcomed. If you’re craving amazing Peruvian food and a wonderful dining experience, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be coming back!

It was a great vibe, with amazing service and delicious food. The appetizers were amazingly cooked with delicious seasoning and the presentation was great. Huge selection of drinks. The ceviche was delicious and I took one to go to share it with my family at home. I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to give it a try. It is easier to access than the one in downtown Miami.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Our waitress, Juliette, was absolutely wonderful, so kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. She made us feel right at home and took care of every detail with a smile. The food was just as impressive. It is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Every dish we tried was delicious, and you can really tell they put care into both the ingredients and the presentation. Huge thanks to Juliette for making our visit extra special. We’ll definitely be back soon!

This was my first time in. First, I was greeted at the bar by Chelsea. She immediately introduced herself and gave excellent recommendations in regards to my wine questions. This is a big one as I enjoy wine a great deal. Btw, to the management - it was an upsell, and I didn't mind. The Ferrari Carano Sauvignon Blanc is fantastic especially on a hot day. Her customer service was appreciated the entire time I sat at the bar, observing everything going on. * There are some very creative things going on with the menu. In particular, the Pollito Chifero was so good, I ordered two. The flavor profile is all there. The Acevichado was also very good. A tad too much sauce on this one, however it is good, so I didn't mind. Service in Miami can make or break an establishment. I sincerely hope it remains at the level I received. Over all, it is an excellent choice for something unique if hungry at the mall.
