"Open only since August, Box Food is easily the newest spot on this list, but there’s no downplaying the fact that this Melrose street vendor is churning out some incredibly special jerk chicken. The weekend-only pop-up is essentially just a grill and a few tables at Melrose and Gardner (right in front of the CVS), making it a tremendous on-the-go lunch option if you’re in the area or heading to the Melrose Trading Post on Sundays. In terms of ordering, the name of the game is the “Box Food” - a $15 lunch box containing rice and peas, charred sweet corn with cotija, plantains, and some of the best jerk chicken you’ll find north of Venice Blvd. Or south, for that matter. Follow them on Instagram for the latest details." - Brant Cox

Honestly the worst cvs in town. Go to just about ANY other store. We call this one CVdyStopia. Filthy, understocked, messy, boxes and garbage everywhere, staff refuse to do anything, no one is ever at the cashier, the pharmacy is always open late and closed early and they close for lunch whenever they feel like it. Don’t try to ask for help with ANYthing. Staff do bare minimum or just blatantly lie to not have actually work. I purchased things there that I’ve had to return bcause I’ve found them to be used/opened already. Yesterday there was a line of people waiting at the cashier and the girl walks towards us all from a back room and waves her hand to the left “ the self check is good. What wrong with y’all?” I said “I’m doing a return “ she rolled her eyes, sighed and walked behind the counter and looks at me like “what?” Then proceeded to make it as hard as she possibly could. Then I go to pick up from the pharmacy and it’s chaos and misery there too. Staff disorganised and arguing and telling everyone “we’re closing for lunch” . No customers were being rude. It was the staff. Toxic workplace issues.

Google
Night manager is a fantastic guy, sadly Mayra is disrespectful and horrible at her job. She alone makes this CVS completely avoidable.

Google
The manager at this store overcharges on items, and when you come back to get the money, he mocks you. Really great way to boost your mood on a Monday night ;)

Google
Fabulous experience today! Amin The shift manager (or supervisor, not sure) was so patient with me. I’m a bit slow in making decision and not one second he made feel uncomfortable (which usually happen) he even told me about other deals and I got some more stuff even though I did t need it but I know that I will use them in future. Thanks guys!

Google
Called in my refill this morning. System said it would be ready by noon. Went to pick up before I headed out of town and was told it would not be ready for another 5 days because it’s too early to refill. The system should have indicated that so that I could’ve had the doctor call it in. Had to leave town without my medication. Will definitely switch to Walgreens from now on. Have had too many issues with this CVS. This is just one of them.

Google
The pharmacists are always super helpful and friendly at Melrose despite how busy they are. Today I saw Nune who was made my vaccination appt quick and easy :)

Sean Edwards

Google
Terribly run pharmacy and store. They need more support and staff members. I came to pickup my prescription when they have advertised that lunch break is 1:30-2 and they could not give me my prescription because the pharmacist was on lunch! It was 3pm. Not lunch break time. They need more help at this store. CVS corporate does an absolutely terrible job giving them the help they need.

Google
If you have a CVS carepass be aware that if you use it with a % off coupon for whatever percentage it is, that the coupon will only be used to left over money owed. Example product is $10.99 you use your carepass and owe .99 cents, that the coupon will apply only to the .99 cents, not the full price of the product. Personally, I found this to be deceiving. It would have been nice for someone to advise and it would be nice to have the % off coupon applied first and then use the carepass $$ left over for another purchase. In addition, the monthly cost for the carepass is $5.48. If you do the math and what you pay, (12 x 5.48 =$65.76 a year), makes the actual free amount $4.52 a month (12 x 4.52 = $54.24 a year). Just food for thought!

Yelp
I visited this CVS Pharmacy for vaccines and had a great experience! Dr. Nune, was incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive throughout the process. I came around 5 PM on a Thursday, and while it was busy with people picking up medications and vaccine appointments, she and the other pharmacy associates handled everything quickly and efficiently. Compared to other CVS locations I've visited, which can feel unorganized and chaotic, this pharmacy was impressively well-managed. The store itself is clean and well-maintained, and there's a free parking structure, which is a huge plus. I wouldn't mind driving back here in the future for vaccines, prescriptions, or anything else.

Yelp
I stopped to buy some moisturizers and paid but forgot my stuff at the self check out! LOL Thank you Patrick for saving it for me overnight Patrick

Yelp
Nasim, the Pharmacy Manager at CVS 7500 Melrose Ave, has truly transformed my experience at this CVS location. Under her exceptional management and care, the service has evolved from disorganized to outstanding. Nasim ensures every customer receives prompt, knowledgeable service, turning the pharmacy into a well-oiled machine where prescriptions are accurate and ready on time. Her patience, intelligence, and extensive industry experience shine through, especially during challenging times such as the pandemic and logistical supply chain issues. Despite these difficulties, Nasim consistently delivers genuine care and maintains high standards of customer service. Her team mirrors her dedication to excellence, creating a welcoming environment where customer satisfaction is paramount. Thanks to Nasim's commitment to exceptional service, CVS 7500 Melrose Ave has become my top choice for pharmacy care in Los Angeles. I now know I can rely on Nasim for superior guidance and support, prior to navigating through the complexities I often run into when contacting the "support" team available with my costly self-employed, "premium" PPO health insurance plan - consistently saving me countless valuable working hours every month and significantly reducing stress.

Yelp
The only good/nice pharmacist left. Don't waste your time. They are MEAN. Incredibly rude and not helpful at all.

Jillian G.

Yelp
The CVS is fine. I've gotten a COVID vaccine there and purchased a few items. It is a shame they don't have A/C but I don't frequent this store often enough for it to be an issue. The big issue is today, I parked in their free parking lot, went inside for 5 minutes to buy a card, and went back to my car. I pulled out of the lot, and a parking attendant screamed at me "no parking!" This is a lot for CVS, I parked there and paid for my item, and immediately returned to my car. That is exactly the purpose of the lot, and with an extremely rude attendant, I won't be returning to this location anytime soon. Such a shame.

Yelp
Pharmacy always opens late. Disgusting attitude and service from the pharmacist. I don't think I've ever encountered a ruder or less helpful pharmacist. She's just belligerent. Ive been the same location a few times and seen her in confrontations with other people too. She's nasty and mean for no good reason and really doesn't deserve the job.

Lauren R.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. Everything is behind glass cases that needs to be unlocked, but employee ignore requests to unlock them. Multiple employees were stocking shelves around me and they all ignored the multiple times the customer service needed button was pressed.

Gerard B.

Yelp
This pharmacy is understaffed and borderline unusable. Wait times of 10+ minutes on the phone are the norm. Medications are never filled on time, often delayed multiple days from the date promised. Calling on the phone is useless because you are on hold for over 10 minutes just to be told they're working on your medication. And then when you arrive days later, the medication is still not filled. What a joke.

Migue P.

Yelp
Horrible service and cvs, I needed a prescription in another cvs, they told me that they had the medication here, I came and then they said that they had to transfer the prescription, and of course I lost time and all and I couldn't get my prescription here and the pharmacist just ignored when I told her what happened to me and continue to speaking another person.

Robert Y.

Yelp
I came in looking for this magnesium powder item. I wasn't able to find it and I usually like to find things myself but my boyfriend decided to ask an associate lol Benjamin went above and beyond looking for this item for us and was able to find it. He was very patient and nice. Thank you Benjamin!

Cindy C.

Yelp
I went to pick up my prescription at the pharmacy at CVS located at 7500 Melrose Ave. and conveniently the pharmacist has yet to show up. When confronting the manager his Pat response was well she's running late how about getting a replacement when the person doesn't show up similar to a junior high or elementary school does when a teacher doesn't show up for work, I am now forced to going back a second time and it will of course take another two hours because when the pharmacist does decide to show up, she's going to have back orders of pills that she needs to get in order the manager should not be managing the store and CVS should not be running a pharmacy. I'm glad Mark Cuban and Jeff Bezos are now in business with pharmaceutical needs.

Dora T.

Yelp
I visited this CVS when I came out this weekend for a meet up. My friend needed hair dye and we were pleasantly surprised that this CVS had a wide variety of colors not normally found in our neck of the woods. She left with two boxes. The store was spacious and really clean and the gentleman at the cash register was friendly. I love the lady working the parking structure. She is super sweet and helpful. The parking lot is a plus on a busy street like Melrose. Even though this is not my normal CVS and I can't comment on the pharmacy, I definitely feel this store should be well stocked on all your necessities

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Please don't get your vaccination here. Their system won't upload the records to the California Data Base correctly. It's just a waste of time.

Victoria T.

Yelp
They need to fix the air conditioning! It's not fair to the costumers and especially the workers. They also have very little in stock.

Natalie H.

Yelp
The manager here (I believe his name is Raul) is very unprofessional! I come to this location as I shop here regularly.... As I am in the store the manager is scolding one of the employees in front of shoppers saying things along the lines of "Cmon you showed up late and you didn't bring your badge you must have not wanted to come in to work today". First of all, I find it very unprofessional for a manager to be doing that ESPECIALLY in front of customers. Very inappropriate and unprofessional! If he wanted to address this employee he should have taken him to the back to address the matter in private. It seemed as if he wanted to try and embarrass this employee in front of the other employees and shoppers! The employee he was talking down to is always so very helpful, polite, and seems like such a hard worker! This isn't the first time I've witnessed the manager talking to an employee like this in a demeaning way. Nor have I ever seen him helping his employees like I have seen other managers do at other CVS's.... He needs to be evaluated! Goes to show that anybody even the worst ones with no experience it seems can be manager!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
For those that are curious, the pharmacy closes at 8. It's listed incorrectly as 10 on Google and Yelp. Hey CVS corporate... you should invest in keeping your hours up to date to avoid more unhappy customers

G H.

Yelp
this is the most awful pharmacy i've ever encountered. theres always ONE person working. last time i was in there, i waited over 20 mins at the counter and now today i called and the wait was over 20 mins and then they answered and hung up. i don't have any time in my day to deal with this bullshit. HIRE more people. taking my business elsewhere.

Miss G.

Yelp
This woman took $10 cash in parking fees after I was promised an hour free as a paying customer of CVS. She didn't even offer a receipt for the cash payment, so who knows if she pocketed the money or not. Her name is Marisol.

Wilson A.

Yelp
Convenient location at the corner of Melrose and Gardner. It seems fairly new since it only shows an unoccupied building at this location on Googlemaps. We came here for Tums after dinner and before an improv show at The Groundlings theater. Found it easily. We also scanned a CVS card into the machine and got some sweet coupons. It just happened so that I needed toothpaste since I left my travel one in San Diego. After using the coupon for toothpaste and scanned the CVS card at checkout, it only ended up costing me only 50 CENTS when it originally cost over $4. But besides the deals being absolutely sweet, the store is very nice, bright, and clean. I can't comment on the parking since I parked elsewhere and walked here. I'm sure there's ample parking, though. And like other CVS locations, you'll have your assortment of products, including medicine, beauty products, food/snacks, greeting cards, seasonal goods, alcohol, etc. I can't really say I'd go out of my way to come here, but if I happen to live in the area or need to be here before/between/after other nearby places, at least it's good to know I have more than just restaurants, clothing stores, and tattoo parlors. It's so bright that you honestly can't miss this place.

Fuckin A.

Yelp
this review is for the pharmacist Niko Pogorevcnik - if you are on the fence about getting a vaccine because you don't like the whole needle experience this is the guy for you. I defy anybody being able to detect anything except an excellent kind professional experience. The area is a bit of a mess but there was parking on a side street and the store was empty 8/16/21 @ 5PM. I was in and out in minutes. moderna # 3. the web site is tricky to use to get a booking for 2 at the same time, I wish it would turn into rite-aid and just list all the stores and not try to use some fancy location algorithm, but you cannot have it all. The detailed notes he typed up about our appts were received on the spot. Top notch customer service + a really nice guy EDIT: and it updated to the gov site overnight! https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/?utm_content=digital-vaccine-card-ca&utm_source=secretsanfrancisco&utm_medium=post&utm_term=cta2

Yelp
I would recommend this place who would want a passport photo taken. The staff was very helpful thanks to them. It was awesome.

Joshua S.

Yelp
I came in here after leaving work this past Saturday I had my camera bag and my backpack, after a few minutes of walking around the security guard Comes up to me and says no backpacks put your backpack upfront, without questioning I put my camera bag and backup front I spend about 5 minutes looking around the store and as I walk up towards the front I see my stuff unattended just sitting near the entrance so anyone can just grab my stuff I found the security guard and questioned why all of all of the people was I one stopped and asked to take my back up to to the front and 2 my stuff not looked after, he said they had a string of robberies lately I told him I just got off work and I opened my backpack and camera bag for him showing him my canon camera and MacBook Pro, I said I'm a film maker with all my equipment in my bag I'm a grown man I wouldn't steal anything from this store and if it is some new policy that they are trying to put in place there needs to be some kind of sign up stating either no back packs or please put backpacks behind the register that way I wouldn't feel racially discriminated against

Natalia O.

Yelp
Please stop printing such long checks , it's a waste of paper and bad for the environment Thank you !

Nicole W.

Yelp
Employees are really nice. Thank you Mr security guard for giving me the wire hanger so I cld retrieve my keys I locked inside of my vehicle. Ur awesome

M. C.

Yelp
Do not come here for passport photos. Staff has no idea what they're doing and they just have you take the photo on your phone without giving criteria for the photo. We took several and none of them were acceptable passport photos in their system. At the end of the day they just left us hanging and ignored us as as we looked for further assistance. So we ended up leaving with no passport photo in hand. It was a total waste of time. Why advertise passport photos if they can't get the job done??!

Yelp
This is an update on a review I wrote 2 months ago. I've gone from 3 stars down to 1. The complete incompetence of their pharmacy staff has cost me a lot of time & has forced me to switch to an out of the way Walgreens. A few of the most notable issues: 1. Scanning multiple prescriptions without saying what they are & then rushing me to sign for them & pay. Twice now I've had to slow them down & discovered duplicate orders because both pharmacist filled it unknowingly & once the dosage was wildly off. 2. One prescription I came back for a full week later & found out they never filled it because they couldn't read the doctors handwriting. I was never contacted. 3. Multiple times now the pharmacist & pharmacy assistant have asked me to yell my DOB & name over to them while they are working on other orders & with other customers nearby which makes me extremely uncomfortable. 4. My doctor faxed over a prescription this past Thursday afternoon after calling the pharmacy 3+ times to get the fax number. It is now Saturday night & I haven't received an alert saying it's ready yet and so I walked over because I had no luck calling. The pharmacist has nothing in the system for me so whoever talked to my doctors office either gave an incorrect fax number or whoever received the fax didn't enter it in, forcing me to wait until Monday to have my doctors office fax a new script to Walgreens.

Audrey O.

Yelp
CVS Pharmacy is trash. I will be canceling all of my prescriptions and switching to a different pharmacy after my horrible experiences with 3 different cvs locations. So, CVS does this thing where you pay $30 and they can prescribe you birth control for a year without you having to see a doctor. When I was trying to get my next birth control pack at the sunset location, I was not able to because their system has been down for A WEEK. Seriously... how does a billion dollar company have a broken system for that long? Well, you would think that it would be simple to transfer my prescription to a different location, but no, it gets even more complicated... Next, I tried to get it refilled at the Melrose location. When I called them and explained what had happened, they told me I would need to pay the $30 annual fee again since I would be getting it at a new location? That is not true and even the manager at sunset confirmed that I wouldn't have to pay the fee again since I should still have refills for the next 6 months! I told them to call the sunset location to figure it out, and when they finally called me back they told me everything was fine and they would refill my prescription... but when I went in there to pick it up they had no idea what I was talking about and they wouldn't give me my prescription! Such a waste of time. Then, I went into the sunset location and told them that the Melrose location wouldn't give me my prescription and the manager gave me such an attitude. Oh also their system was STILL DOWN so they couldn't help me at all! I decided to try one last time, so I called the location on Santa Monica Blvd and the lady on the phone was so rude, and was telling me information that was completely different from what the sunset manager told me, and I am still unable to get my prescription. I can't believe the cvs workers have the audacity to give me an attitude when they are the ones who are incompetent, misinformed, and don't even have a computer system that works properly! This was such an awful experience and I will never be coming back.

Monica B.

Yelp
That lady Laura should be fired I bought some thing said hi to her and she didn't acknowledge my presence and she stared at me the entire time with a B face without saying a word as she rang me up

Sigurd B.

Yelp
pharmacists are transphobic! they've delayed processing my anticonvulsants on numerous occasions and refuse to transfer the medication to another pharmacy. they also misgender me whenever i come in no matter how many times i correct them, which leads me to believe it may be discrimination. when i tell them the behavior is putting my life in danger the pharmacist rolls her eyes. epilepsy is very serious! i'm taking my business elsewhere.

Seung Eun C.

Yelp
It still a semi-new CVS located on trendy Melrose Ave. There is free parking upstairs in the lot which makes it convenient. This location is comparably larger than most in the neighboring areas. The aisles are wide, shelves are well stocked, and the employees give an effort to be pleasant! Gotta love the coupons.. I got a 40% off one item the last time there. WOOHOO! There's hardly a wait for the pharmacy here and the pharmacist was super helpful. My favorite CVS!

Jennie M.

Yelp
It's nice to walk into a cvs in a different state and it's pretty much the same as most. It was big clean and bright. What more do you need from a drugstore? They had what we needed and that's all I ask.

Victoria H.

Yelp
I'm so happy this CVS has opened here! I work down the street and this is the most convenient location to me now. This location is HUGE!!! It's basically a grocery store/ CVS combo and I'm not mad about it. Every time I enter someone greets me warmly and in a friendly manner. One day the manager (I forgot his name) even gave me some free samples! He's super nice! One of my favorite things about this CVS though is that they carry neutrogena makeup! I noticed a few locations are no longer carrying this amazing makeup line, but I can always rely on this location. I'll definitely be back, a lot.

Randi K.

Yelp
I would give this CVS location a zero if I could. It does not deserve one star. As some of the other reviewers have written, this location is nice and clean. However, those features are undermined by the security guard who stalks people (I am sure we are referring to the same guard), by the rude manager, and the fact that this location is understaffed. This review is about the experience I had in this store yesterday. I had an appointment with a business in the Melrose area. I went into CVS quickly to grab something to eat, and to get one small item of make up, which I regularly use. There were not too many people in the store. So I should have been able to get in and out quickly, so that I could make it to my appointment on time. Marc, the store manager, was the only person working at the cash registers. I told Marc that I was pressed for time because I had an appointment in the area. There was only one person in line ahead of me. Instead of helping me out and making an effort to expedite things and get me rung up, he deliberately took his time and slowed things down, in an effort to antagonize me. At that point, I had stood in line to pay for my food. When I finished paying for the food, another employee came over to show me where the make up was. I explained to her that I was pressed for time. I asked her if she could please find the product for me and leave it at the cash register, so that I could pick it up later when I was not in a hurry. That is a courtesy that most retail stores extend to their customers. Unfortunately, that request went over this salespersons head. Therefore, after I found the product, I had to get back in line, once again, in order to pay for the make-up product. I also had to deal with Marc again. Marc was even more rude and antagonistic the second time I got back in line to pay for the make up. He even argued with me in front of other customers. That was unprovoked and unnecessary, not to mention embarassing. Needless to say the incident elevated my stress level and I was late to my appointment. I found Marc to be unprofessional and blue collar. He lacked insight and used poor judgement. I cannot believe CVS made him a store manager. I have been a customer at CVS for years, albeit, at another location. I was so upset about my experience yesterday, that I considered pulling my business from the company as a whole. Instead, I gave myself time to cool down. Then I called customer service and explained what happened. I hope they talk to Marc and remedy the problem. I do not want to have a repeat of the experience I had yesterday. Nor would I want anyone else to go through that.

Tom J.

Yelp
This pharmacy has completely turned itself around, they actually did this a while back and I thought I updated this review....I want to apologize to the staff at CVS on Melrose.....you have really made a difference here and I am grateful!

Bradley B.

Yelp
This is literally by far by far by faaaaar the WORST pharmacy I have ever encountered in my life!!!!!!! Time and time again I keep having a bad experience with the simplest of things here...like picking up a prescription that had been ordered hours or days ago, and that they have not filled or misplaced. They are so understaffed that it's next to impossible to get your call answered, or get helped in a timely manner at the counter. They seem to always have a problem with my insurance, and they could care less about any type of customer service. I am DONE with this low class pharmacy and moving all my prescriptions elsewhere!!!!!

Vivienne W.

Yelp
I am another victim of Marisol's at the CVS parking lot, policed by Colombian Parking Services. She yelled at me about leaving the CVS store, "I saw you leave!" and that she would pull the store's video to prove I hadn't spent my whole time in CVS. I waived my just-purchased hair conditioner as proof. I asked if we could go back to CVS and discuss is there. "I don't work for CVS!" she said. Marisol got on the phone to Don Henry, her manager, and had him finish the job. After ten minutes of this, I asked her what the fee was and she said $4 dollars. Lol. It should have been $8, but I got a discount for the hair conditioner, she said.

Joe N.

Yelp
I went here to fill a prescription for pain meds and the pharmacist called the doctor in front of me and acted like I was committing fraud trying to fill prescription. She had an old address for me and acted like I was lying to her and she could have just asked for identification. She then proceeded to ask my doctor for my medical records, in which wasn't a problem but she could have done all this on her own time and asked that I come back, she was rude and very unprofessional, this CVS usually does a great job but this pharmacist acted like a Federal prosecutor. If she felt uncomfortable filling a prescription no big deal there are other places I could have gone to and didn't need to listen to her Spanish inquisition for the problems she has in the area! In which 4 months ago BLM burned COP cars to the ground, and seedy looking dopers flock this CVS and the Police do nothing about it. It's a disgraceful gone down the tubes area, oh and she interrupts me and tells me to put my mask over my nose. Mind you all while telling me I'm sorry you feel that way. Don't bother going here, go to a professional Pharmacy with professionals who act like normal people. This one is small and grungy and quite frankly a total waste of time. Just do your due diligence on your own time and save the headache of your customers. No one cares about hearing your convo with doctors. It's weird and makes you look like a lunatic.

Christine C.

Yelp
Update... I passed by that same CVS on Melrose today and needed face wash but I just kept driving. I went to the Rite Aid on Sunset. Good service there.

Mando M.

Yelp
The worst pharmacy ever , the staff is rude and doesn't have experience at all , I been trying to get my meds since 10 am and it's 7 pm and they told me I can't get them , the maybe in other cvs , def need to change staff and put better people

Dave G.

Yelp
Obnoxious pharmacist telling me to 'shop around' because he may need 30 minutes to put my wife's prescription together, depending on who shows up and calls. I'll go and look at toothpaste for half an hour shall I? Ridiculous.

Emma B.

Yelp
One of the better CVS out there. Clean, new, relatively big, nice service, and easy access with validated parking (a huge plus considering the location). 4/5 for the fact that it can get busy towards the pharmacy area and there is usually only one person working behind the counter (maybe two would help?!)

Qipper T.

Yelp
This CVS is truly remarkable. Clean, smiling and happy workers. I hope they keep it up during the New Years. I will be happy to frequent this CVS for as long as I live in the WeHo (West Hollywood) area. Customer service: 5 stars Management: 5 stars Selection: 4 stars (moderate to varied) - it's not the largest CVS but for the size it's pretty good.

Kimi M.

Yelp
This pharmacy is very UNDER staffed! The pharmacists (Devora) told me that she was helping several people and would help me soon. After 32 mins she finally came back to the line but was very rude and impatient. She should have had another staff member come onto the line to tell me she was still with someone else. It's pharmacies like this that give CVS as a whole a bad reputation. This place needs more employees and pharmacists who actually care!

Klavdiya L.

Yelp
I was on hold for 1 hour. The lady did not hear me but kept saying your on hold. I am very upset. I use to come here all the time and now I will never come here again. I do not recommend this pharmacy place at all. Needed medication for my surgery right away and they did not help or answer at all.

Christian B.

Yelp
My doctor called in a prescription yesterday and they told me my prescription would be ready the following day. When I went in today they informed that they were out of the medication and that my doctor has to call it in to another pharmacy that has it. However, it is now Friday after 5 and now I have to go the weekend with out my mood stabilizing meds. Why they couldn't have just told me that yesterday, when I had time to call my doctor, is beyond me.

Katherine B.

Yelp
I'm so bummed! I live so close, and it would be so convienent. The Pharmacy is outrageously slow!!! It's flu season. Everytime Iv'e hobbeled over there I've had to wait an hour to pick up a perscription! and it's not even crowded. I'm on hold with the pharmacy t riht now ,and ITS BEEN 50 MINUTES!!! TORTURE!!! Pharmacies are for people who need medicine, this is crazy, and maddening! Why wont they hire more people? This a terrible way to treat people. It's not te pharmacist's fault, they need more staff !!! I'm afraid I'll have to take my business elsewhere

Michael J.

Yelp
I love the employees here. They're all so friendly and cool and helpful. I nearby and I'm SO glad they opened this pharmacy. The pharmacists, Nasim and the woman who works during the day are awesome!!

Julia S.

Yelp
The CVS store is fine, and I don't have problems with their employees, the parking attendant, Marisol, employed by Columbia Parking Valet, on the other hand, is straight up harassing me. Every time I come to the store, she is following me, asking if I'm going to CVS and watching me make sure I don't leave the store. The other day, I went to the store, purchased something and saw someone outside. I walked out to say hi and walked them across the street. I wasn't shopping around the neighborhood, I went back went to my car. The whole trip took maybe 15 minutes. She tried to charge me as another person wrote below. I don't understand how this works if a customer comes in and shops at the store, how can they be charged? They are just trying to scam CVS customers and are making up rules as they see fit. The Manager I spoke to had no idea what she was talking about and didn't want to deal with the situation, and the way he handled it was really upsetting. This is about her constantly harassing me, and this reflects really poorly on CVS and the management at this location that they would allow their customers to be charged for arbitrary reasons when the parking is supposed to be free. It makes no sense, and the harassment is getting over the top.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I love CVS and invariably end up at my local CVS in Westwood at least once a week. The employees are always friendly and helpful and I'm usually in and out of the store in 5-10 minutes. But tonight, on my way home, after a long week of work, nursing a horrible cold, I stopped off at the CVS on Melrose to purchase some Zicam. I found the item and walked back up to the front of the store only to find a line of about 20 people with only 1 cashier working. Realizing it was going to be a VERY long wait, I walked back to the Pharmacy and waited about 10 minutes to purchase my Zicam. Just as I got to the front of the line, the cashier asked the Pharmacist if she could step in to help people pay for their items. He was being paged to come to the front of the store to help. A Code Red had been issued on account of the massive line. When I presented my item to the Pharmacist, the first words out of her mouth were: Just so you know, this line is only for people picking up their prescriptions. You're supposed to use the line at the front of the store. I responded by telling her that I had taken my item to the front of the store, with every intention of paying for it there, but the line was just too long. (At least a 20-25 minute wait, with only 1 cashier working.) She replied: "Well, for future reference, you can't use this line to purchase store items." I wanted to tell her that there was no need to allude to any future scenario where I might be returning to this CVS. Not after I waited in line for 10 minutes only to be admonished for purchasing ONE item (Zicam)that was displayed directly next to the Pharmacy counter in the "Pharmacy Section" of the store. For future reference, please don't blame the customers for your staffing issues. And try to limit your Pharmacist from directly interacting with customers. Customer Service is not her strong suit.
