Snug, busy place with simple, modern decor for spicy curries, rice plates & other Thai classics.
"Hidden just away from Main Street in the Arts District, this tiny Thai restaurant offers just a few tables where patrons can order Bangkok street fare plus northern and southern Thai dishes while enjoying views of Downtown Las Vegas from behind plate-glass windows. The menu includes issan sausage, crispy soft shell crab, and tom kha — plus drunken noodles, pad woon sen, and curry dishes. Entrees here tend to be on the spicier side." - Janna Karel
"Inspired by Bangkok street food and Southern Thai-style dishes, D E Thai Kitchen serves tom yum soup, chicken satay or coconut shrimp, crab Rangoon, and fried tofu. Rice and noodle options include pad Thai, pad see ew, and drunken noodles, plus spicy basil, ginger garlic, and garlic pepper among the plate dishes, with the option of adding pork, chicken, beef, crispy pork, veggies, tofu, and shrimp or squid. Red, green, and yellow curries join house specials of pork tom yum noodle soup, crab-meat fried rice, and the Beef Boat Noodle Soup rice noodle soup." - Janna Karel
"Chef and owner Jompon Chotikamars launched his menu of Bangkok street food in the Arts District back in spring 2018 and has now debuted a second, easier-to-find location, less than a mile from the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets. Open for dine-in, takeout, and delivery, D E Thai Kitchen is serving daily at the Desert Diamond Plaza retail center, replacing the Galanga Thai Eatery at the intersection of Windmill Lane and Las Vegas Boulevard. Despite a compact space, diners can order from a lengthy roster of dishes, including popular favorites imported from the original downtown restaurant. Among the appetizers, Bangkok street food sausages, chicken satay, Crying Tiger steak with a dip sauce, and marinated and grilled Thai pork. Traditional favorites of tom yum and tom kha soups are joined by red, green, yellow, and panang curries, plus house specials of crispy pork and Chinese broccoli, egg noodle prepared in Northern Thai curry, soft shell crab, seafood pink noodle soup, lobster fried rice, sweet chili sauce tilapia, and desserts including coconut ice cream served with roti pancakes." - Bradley Martin
"D E Thai Kitchen, known for its Bangkok street food and Southern Thai dishes, is expanding from the Arts District to a new location at Desert Diamond Plaza. The new restaurant will maintain its casual counter-service atmosphere and popular menu, featuring tom yum and tom kha soups, larb salad, and a variety of rice and noodle dishes." - Bradley Martin
"A cozy Arts District spot. Just off of Main Street in the Arts District, diners will find the understated and intimate D E Thai Kitchen, specializing in Bangkok street food. The 900-square-foot restaurant serves Thai street food with a similarly tiny price tag. The menu includes fried tofu, chicken satay, Thai fried rice, curries, and more, with most items priced below $10." - Krista Diamond
