Da-Bar Shoes Inc

Da-Bar Shoes is a nice, old fashioned neighborhood shoe store. The kind that you just don’t see anymore. I wear a size 12 X-wide width, so it’s hard for me to find good fitting shoes. In the last two months, I have gone there first to buy dress shoes to wear with a tux for my son’s wedding. And then yesterday to buy Winter boots. Both times I was helped by the same woman (I wish I knew her name) who did her best to make sure I was satisfied. If you live in or near the Maspeth area, and you’re looking for a good quality shoe store, then I suggest you try Da-Bar Shoes.

I have been looking for wide width shoes everywhere. This store is amazing. I will go nowhere else. The staff is extremely helpful. I highly recommend them.

A shoe store where you get that personal touch, which is lost in larger/chain stores. It's got that Mom and Pop feel. They also have good quality shoes. If your looking for some new shoes check them out.

Had to bring my child here to get school uniform sneakers. Now I know I don't have to come here and I won't ever again because they are a rip-off. Paid so much money for a pair of plain white sneakers for my toddler who got them dirty within the first two months of school and they cannot get back to their white color. Next time I just go to WalMart! Then at least I could just go and buy another pair and not worry about spending so much money. Another thing, they sold me White socks for my daughter to wear and it ended up being boys socks in the wrong size. I've looked in there on other occasions because in the window they had some cute baby girl and toddler girl sandals and dress shoes and Ugg boots but as I said before, they are extremely overpriced and when you're buying for a baby and a toddler you know that they outgrow something within 6 months so why would we want to spend $40-$50 on a pair of sandals? Just not for me.

An old school shoe store with a wide variety of styles. They aren't cheap. Truthfully, while I really want to support Main Street shops, I can't justify paying double when I can easily find for substantially less elsewhere.
