Awesome people, friendly and yes taste like home. LA people serving LA cuisine. My husband and I are from LA and love when we can get a taste of home when were out and about. If you see this truck get yourself a plate!

Omg the wait time at this place is crazy. We ordered 2 orders of fries, 2 orders of huspuppies and one order of Shrimp Po-boy at 7.50 PM. We were told order pick-uo would be at 8.25 PM. We received our order at 9.40 PM. Also I am a vegetarian and my fries packet had fried shrimp in it?! I understand radio bar usually has 3 food trucks. But a food truck is closed for a few days so these guys are overloaded. Only 2 ladies running the kitchen and managing orders. But almost 2 hours for just fries? The fries didn't even havd enough cajun spice. You can see it for yourself. My friend loved his Shrimo Po-boy but was it worth waiting 2 hours? Not really. I hope they improve on service. I would not recommend this place for a vegetarian or vegan person.

This place offers takeaways which was a win for us during the current times. we tried the corn hush puppies and shrimp and softshell crab po boys. They were okay to satisfy our Louisiana cravings.

Really great, honestly a try and love place. Very nice and quick lunch or early dinner. Shrimp poboy is I'm the picture. I highly recommend getting a 12 inch just because of the sadness that will come into you after that last delicious bite.

This place has some really great dishes. I've been able to order several dishes since I ran across them a few weeks ago: fried catfish, crawfish poboy, crawfish gumbo and a shrimp plate; all excellent meals. I will say that the meals will take awhile to prepare as they cook all of the meals as they are ordered, but it's worth the wait, IMO.

Best oyster poboy I’ve had in Austin! My wife and I are from Louisiana and this tastes like home.

Everything was delicious.. the boudin links, crawfish and shrimp NOLA po boys were delicious, my family and i had the 12 in and half of one was plenty. The bread was very good... the hushpuppy were very tasty, the okra was perfect. People were nice and verified my identification before releasing my order to make sure i was who i said i was.

DA Boot Poboys is a purple food truck that is located in front of Oasis Car Wash. Mentioning this as my map took me to the wrong place! We had two shrimp poboys, Cajun fries, okra, and a drink for ~$31. Everything is prepared fresh to order so the wait time was very reasonable, only about 15 minutes. Very fresh and tasty!! Thank you! We'll be back

I happen to come across Da Boot Po Boys while looking for a quick nite to eat on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I took me a second to figure out their exact location due to it being a food truck in a lot with a few other trucks. I ordered a grilled shrimp po boy with fries. They were able to quickly make the order and get me on my way. The sandwich was outstanding. It tasted just like home

I was told that this business is permanently closed, so I was not able to order anything. I hope they're able to re-open.

MY GAWD!!!! THIS PLACE IS We had the Fish, collard greens, Mac and cheese and we tore it up!!! The greens were incredible, the mac creamy, cheesy, seasoned. And the fried fish? Crispy, hot, perfectly cooked even after a 15 min ride home. This is definitely the new spot.

Let me start with this... I am a New Orleans native and one thing I've learned to understand that everyone from New Orleans cannot cook and definitely don't understand that timeliness is imperative. We visited this food truck on our way from Austin back to Dallas and it was an experience that did not meet my expectations of a NOLA distinction. We were excited to get some NOLA flavors for our road trip, but it didn't work out the way we expected. While the owner and the young lady on the register had pleasant attitudes... The prices and food quality did not impress me! We ordered Voodoo Wings, Fried Shrimp platter, soft shell crab and a boudin link. Our total came up to $49. Being a business owner of a Cajun Catering company I understand food prices has increased, but the food quality and service should be top notch to balance the price increases. Soooo the wings were not seasoned but just fried and covered in sauce, the shrimp and soft shell crab was saturated in oil. While the flavor was there, the saturation of grease killed it all. To add, I paid $8 for a small soft shell crab without all the legs and connected parts. Lastly, The Boudin taste like breading dressing in the casting. In addition to that experience the food took over 40 min to prepare ! I'm sure this particular feedback should not be a shock to the owner as several patrons have already made mention of this. Yelp is a platform that any owner should value because this is where the customer gives feedback that can either hurt or help your business. I hope Da Boot make the necessary changes necessary to keep their customers happy! ‍

Have some conflicting feelings about this place. If we are talking about the price or the service I wasn't very impressed. A friend and I came to order when there was one other person in line and it took about 35 minutes to get our food. Grant people with to go orders kept showing up to pick up their food, but I came to the food truck because the food is supposed to be quick. Didn't help that it was over 100 degrees that day. That said, the fries were dope ‍

Our community had an event this weekend and invited this Food truck to sell during it. They were a little late arriving onsite. They did not have a generator with them so they left the truck and all went to get it. They came back just as homeowners where coming to the event. Took them about 30 minutes to open. They had 4 people working the truck which is 1 more than normal imo. The order taker was doing her job but I have no idea why the average wait time was over 30 minutes. That is way too long. They had a smaller than normal menu and still took forever. When the food came out everyone seemed to be satisfied so that is good. I personally ordered a bowl of red beans and rice. My wait was also about 25 minutes. I go inside and open up the container and I had seafood gumbo. We were at an event with a Gumbo cook off going on with free samples. Why was this even on their menu last night? There was no way I was going to complain and then wait another half hour. I tasted a few bites and it was not my cup of gumbo. They had a very blonde roux and it lacked flavor. Being from NOLA you want to like others Cajun cooking but you also must be honest. They need some expediting skills and better processes.

Hubbie ordered pick up through GrubHub and I called and asked when would our order be ready, lady says 30 mins. She calls back a few mins later and says come on to pick up. That was a pleasant surprise. Hubs bought back a tasty crawfish po boy filled with plenty flavorful crawfish. It had lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, and mayo. Next time I'll skip the tomatoes and ask for easy mayo/ketchup. My sandwich had gotten a bit soggy from the only 5 min drive home. The fries were well seasoned and a nice sized portion for only $1.50. I want to try their wings and fried fish po boy too so I'll definitely be back.

I give this place 3 stars for how long it takes. I live right around the corner from this food truck park and we go all the time. My boyfriend gets the shrimp poboy and I usually get a fried fish. All the food taste hot and fresh! It's delicious because they make everything to order. It can be a little pricey because their prices are different in person than they are online so just look out for that

Just got a couple side items while having a beer at Radio. Both the Hushpuppies and Cajun Fries were really good. Will come back.

This place is amazing! We've eaten here twice and it is everything we want--great fried fish, shrimp and excellent sides. We really love the fried okra!

Ordered Bourbon Wings and Crawfish PoBoy! Both were excellent and delicious. Definitely need to go back this week.

Easy ordering online and was ready at the time specified. It's a truck with wonderful ppl working inside. I ordered the crawfish poboy and it was scrumptious. Plenty of crawfish on soft bread with great flavor. Definitely coming back Soon!!

Honestly never encounter any restaurant that is so rude about them being late. This place does not have it's act together Leads me to doubt their ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen.

First time here & came out solely with the purpose of supporting this black owned business. Ordered the Shrimp Po Boy & was not disappointed...bread was buttery & toasted and tasted even better than I could ever describe. The Shrimp was seasoned to perfection. Next time I will double up on Shrimp though since it wasn't enough for me...and order the collards and gumbo....since y'all passed the first taste test lol

Ordered a Fish Taco and Shrimp Taco with a side of Lemon Cake it was good! The fish and shrimp were both cripsy and not at all greasy they both a good amount of seasoning. I'll definitely be back, I'll order fresh not from grub hub nothing against them

I stopped for a quick lunch so I order a small Fish Po Boy. I was only supposed to half of it because it was so big...welp!!! Needless to say I ate it all, my belly is full, and happy!! I hope I can stay awake after this Awesome sandwich!!

Keisha's cook in' up the Best Shrimp Po Boy I've ever had. The Red Beans & Rice were a close second. Prices are low. Get by here.

I was craving a shrimp po boy, found Da Boot and was not disappointment! The shrimp were nice sized and perfectly crispy. The bread, omg so soft and buttery. Finished off with cool lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and tangy pickles. It hit the spot. Friendly service, easy parking, and a cozy picnic table under a big shady tree. I'll be back to try some of the fish

This was a great food trailer! Our poboy tacos were amazing. The fried okra was the best I've had as well as the good ole collard greens. We will absolutely be back for more;))))

I got lunch shrimp my husband got shrimp and fish combo. Was so good!! Took some time so don't expect to order and be eating in 5 minutes. Put was worth the wait as all good food is. This was my first visit but I will definitely be back.

I really enjoy this place. So far I've had their shrimp and oyster po'boys and on the days that I've had them they've been excellent. The bread is great. Toasted enough on the outside where the inside is still nice! I've been looking for a good place to good po'boys here in Austin so I'm glad this place is here... Po'boys are basically a food group to me ever since I was introduced to them by friends from NOLA.

Great Po-Boys! Ordered Crawfish ones and Shrimp one- price seemed high until they came! They were really large and stuffed and the bread was perfect! Great taste! Also had Boudain (best so far in Austin), Fried okra (tasty) and hush puppies (very tasty). Ordered online and the 30min expected wait was perfect and the communication was very good- This will definately be a Go-Back!

Best poboys in Atx! Catfish, shrimp, and crawfish are great! Seasoned perfect and always fresh. I had the catfish platter and a shrimp/craw poboy. Loved it all.

MAN O MAN!!! I have the best Cajun Friday afternoon anyone could ask for right here in Austin !!!! The bread for the po Boys are to die for. The shrimp are nicely fried and really make this Po Boy a must have. Also the boudin Is going to make you have to call up your friends to have them meet you there and try some. You won't regret coming to this food truck as everything is amazing. From the food the vibes and the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ELITE.

While the food taste great , the customer service was trash ! I love to support black owned businesses so I came here for a taste of New Orleans food. I hate that the lady working the truck which I'm assuming is the owner had such poor communication as well as terrible customer service . No one answers the phone and when I came to order my food she said "order online and closed the window . We ordered the our food and the wait was very long . We had three separate orders and she made us each wait like 30 min just for each order . She was not nice and I'm just very disappointed in this black business.

This place is true Authentic Louisiana cooking. The best I've have in Texas thus far. Every time I have gone the quality has always been the same! The food is made as you order so I would call ahead of time and place the order if you can, if not it's still worth the wait.

My wife and I ordered 2 shrimp po-boys yesterday and filet of fish. We got 12" sandwiches and they were a long 12"!!!! I ate this at 2:00 pm and did not need to eat supper! It was the most amazing sandwich I have had in years! We caught Keisha at a busy time so we waited about 30 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it! We will definitely go back! Accidentally discovered this place thru Uber Eats. Absolutely delicious. I always get the spicy fish plate & poboys. Made fresh. Service is great too. I wish more people knew about this business. One of the best food trucks I've experienced.

Food was tasty and staff was nice but it made me sick. My stomach has been hurting all day and this was the only food I ate today. Disappointed and won't be returning.

Ordered the BBQ wings and hush puppies and loved them. Best hush puppies I've ever had and the wings were slightly bigger than expected. The wait was about 30 minutes to get the food, but totally worth it. Support local Black-owned businesses!

I ordered two shrimp poboys that only had 4 shrimps on them bread was no where near french bread and the sandwiches are about to 6" for $10.99 each I spent $30 so I clearly didn't get my money's worth please don't waste your time or money I am from New Orleans and these people don't have a clue on how to make a go poboy

This place is authentic even come with an Nawlins accent. I get the Po Boys from here I've tried them all and they all taste amazing they cease to fail me. Plus its on the way home from work, they're very quick. Ps. Get it spicy that's the real way with al the Fixins!!!

I placed an order through Grub Hub and an hour later when the order was already late I received an email stating my order had been cancelled. Then I received a call from a girl who sounded like she had fifteen marbles in her mouth as she took no pause between words to try to explain that when the driver arrived the place was closed. So I won't be trying this or Grub Hub again.

Was looking forward to trying this place for some time. I had my hopes up with all the reviews but when it came down to it: It took forever to get the food and It was way over-priced $28.00 for a 6 inch shrimp poboy and a 6 inch crab poboy.

The hush puppies are SO good, lord help me not crave them all the time! The PoBoy was very delicious and I enjoyed every last bite.

Stopped by for a fish po boy. Fish was moist, batter was perfectly seasoned and portion was more than generous. That's a lunch win for sure!

I had the $7.00 breakfast sampler and I couldnt believe how much I got for that price. Not only was it cheap, it was good as hell. I've found me a new alternative to breakfast tacos.
