Da Poke Wagon

I am from S. Korea with high standard for raw sea food - I endorse Da Poke Wagon! Tuna Poke was so poking good! 🤣 I like rice with slightly higher water content so it's moist, (I unfortunately had to put my Poke in the fridge for a bit before I was able to grab some bites) and the rice was still perfect - the fried onion bits added the deep taste to the bowl, creamy spicy mayo, cutting that heaviness with some fresh cut of jalapeño, + topped with marinated seaweed salad, all added nicely to the bowl.. BUT most of all, I was surprised by the quality of the tuna. Perfect cube cut of tuna - not too big, not too small - super fresh! How do you keep your tuna so fresh in midwest? Also how do you keep the rice super consistent? Oh man, I devoured my poke and it fed my soul. As a food truck operator myself, I understand that perfection is not an accident, and Da Poke Wagon definitely satisfied my perfection standard. Absolutely perfect! We love poke and try it almost everywhere we go. This poke is just as good as the best places in Hawaii. The fish quality is by far the best we’ve had in Kansas City! Very yummy! Gluten allergy and worked with me to customize my bowl. Healthy and refreshing!

Saw them at boulevardia, amazing food!!

The wagon is clean and the team is efficient in delivering to a line if people. There's an up-sale attempt at ordering; $1 for a couple of slim slices of avocado, $1 for s bottle of water, etc. I had Da Hawaiian lettuce bowl with tuna. Good amount of tuna very little salad. Overall a small amount of food and I am a light eater. $11 because I did get the avocado. I likely will not have it again, if I saw it out and I wouldn't recommend due to the price and amount food... this is a food truck not a chef's restaurant where you expect small food.

First food truck poke ever and it was in KC! Parked along the street near the federal building with several other trucks, the two friendly aunties did brisk business. The food itself was fresh and good but a bit on the smallish side. Good to see poke in KC.

This food truck is super clean, organized, and the food is just delicious. I recommend ordering da heat. Fresh jalapenos, seaweed salad, edemame, and I usually get the marinated tuna with a brown rice base. I get the chili aioli and it's just the perfect bit of heat but not over the top hot. They are also very quick and efficient at getting orders out within a reasonable amount of time (8 mins). I can't wait to see them again.

I had this for lunch last week and was quite impressed. The ingredients both looked and tasted very fresh. The service was friendly and got the orders out quickly. Most importantly the food was terrific! It reminded me of a place I used to eat at a lot when I lived in San Diego. Next time I order from Da Poke Wagon I will post pictures of the food. The only thing that kept me from giving them a fifth star was I thought the portion was a little small given the price, but I'm a pretty big fella and enjoy larger portions than most. This wouldn't prevent me from going back. I would recommend this place for sure.

The wagon visits my office park. The best way I can describe the food is a sushi bowl just like a burrito bowl at Chipotle. You select a base (rice or lettuce), protein (fish, shrimp, vegan option), and a fun variety of toppings similar to sushi rolls. If you like sushi try the wagon!
