Highlights

Da Radda is an Argentinian restaurant that expresses the Italian heritage of its founder. Our proposal perfectly combines the italian tradition with the Argentinian cuisine. Da Radda is not just food, is a different experience in New York City. Remember, if you want you may bring your own wine and drink it on the premises

"Da Radda is an Argentinean restaurant with an appealing wine list that also includes Chilean vintages. It’s owned by Sergio Raddavero and focuses on the country’s Italian-influenced cuisine, rather than the steaks that characterize most of the city’s Argentinean restaurants. That means an emphasis on a few kinds of pasta, as well as antipasti, risottos, eggplant and veal Parms, and some rather unusual pizzas, such as a fugazza made from onions and cheese." - Robert Sietsema

"This restaurant from Buenos Aires restaurateur Sergio Radavero specializes in the Italian cooking of Argentina. That includes the wonderful onion-and-cheese pizza called fugazza (other pies come topped with veal cutlets or eggplant), braised beef bruschetta, pumpkin soup, and gnocchi topped with a combination of tomato sauce and basil pesto." - Robert Sietsema

"Da Radda, a two-month-old restaurant in New York City, specializes in Argentina’s Italian cooking. The standout dish here is the fugazza, a pie with a generous amount of onions and cheese on a focaccia-like crust. It offers a delightful balance of sweet and salty flavors, with the sweetness of the onions concentrated by baking. The restaurant also offers a variety of Milanesa dishes and Argentine-style gnocchi with tutti pesto, as well as South American-influenced desserts like a dulce de leche panna cotta." - Robert Sietsema

Great food, fast service, music that isn’t too loud to talk and a phenomenal price point for NYC. A really enjoyable experience start to finish in a place that just has good vibes. The manager (owner??) was so helpful and kind. Short wine list but really good stuff at great prices. Highly recommend.

Superb quality of the ingredients, cooking and service. We tried both the Napolitana Milanesa and the Veal Fugazzeta. Meat was super-tender, fried to perfection, and cheese of the right texture and flavor. Chocotorta dessert is a unique and tasty combination of dulce de leche with crumbled chocolate cookie… a “must-have” to wrap up a great meal.

Google
Excellent food and service! Italian food with an Argentine twist. The braised beef ravioli was delicious as was the gnocchi tutti pesto. The tiramisu was both rich and light at the same time. Highly recommend!

Absolutely outstanding- the owner walked us through some amazing wine and food. Well worth the trip! The dessert was a homemade Argentine dish. Will be back!

I loved this little gem of an Argentinian restaurant. The food was reminiscent of what I used to eat back in Buenos Aires, with a little flair of NYC thrown in the mix to keep things interesting. The menu is comprised of basic dishes, and that's where the mastery of Italian-inspired Argentinian cuisine comes into play, and Da Radda pulls that off perfectly. The desserts are revisited versions of typical Argentinian desserts, with the chocotorta being a birthday party classic, that Radda transformed into a cup of dessert and somehow managed to improve it. The owner, Sergio, adds a lot to the energy of the place and makes the small restaurant feel cozy and inviting. On my first visit the waiter was out, so Sergio took on the duty, sharing advice on the menu and, in my case, reminiscing together about Buenos Aires, life, and so on.

Great restaurant with nice service. The fugazza is a really unique pizza, well seasoned with amazing cheese / crust, very well seasoned. The onions add a lot as well. Fire desserts as well.

The salmon and shrimp lasagna is absolutely amazing - best lasagna I've ever had. The Panna cota is also superb. I have been living in East Village for a decade and have tried many restaurants. This place is a gem.

Yelp
I've walked by here a million times and have always reminded myself to come. Thankfully, my friend and I decided to come one quiet Tuesday evening. It was a slow night. The service was really friendly. The place is small, intimate and cozy with great historical photographs hanging on the walls. I also felt super comfortable sitting on the blue chair. When you check in, you get a glass of the house Malbec for free! They even gave us a free amuse bouche of hummus on small pieces of toasts. We split the caprese bruschetta, which tasted very fresh. I got the fried chicken with a side of salad. The chicken was amazing with fresh tomatoes and cheese on top. The dressing on the salad was a touch too sour for my liking. My friend got the pesto gnocchi which was softer than I expected. The tiramisu was good too but the base tasted more like cream cheese than mascarpone. Given the ambiance, and the diverse food and wine menu and the nice service, I would come again!

Yelp
Had a nice pumpkin soup and glass of wine at the front. Service was quick. They had an online ordering system that was a bit annoying since my service was iffy. They also have a pretty good lunch deal empanadas and a glass of wine for like $15.

Yelp
Amazing wine and food! Ruben is an incredible waiter / host and was so sweet. Would definitely stop by if you are eating dinner nearby. Highly recommend their house Malbec!

Yelp
Finally an Argentinian pizzeria in NYC! When there are multiple Detroit-style pizza places south of 14th Street, it seemed like the city could accommodate at least one representative of Buenos Aires-style fugazetta and faina. Sadly faina - a unique chickpea patty I had been looking forward to - is not on offer here yet, but everything they do serve was delicious. We were most excited about the fugazza, a traditional B.A. cheese slice with just barely-caramelized onions that was expertly executed here. The margherita was also very good. Although we came for pizza, the gnocchi was probably my favorite dish of the night with a perfectly chewy texture. I would probably skip the eggplant Milanesa next time, I do feel like the seasoning of Argentinian style milanesa pairs better with lemon and salt than tomato sauce.

Yelp
Amazing dining experience! I had the risotto with mushrooms and my date had the asparagus risotto. We had a bottle of Malbec Terroir! A cozy atmosphere paired with welcoming staff. Will most definitely return...

Yelp
AMAZING ARGENTINE RESTAURANT NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT! Love this Lower East Side gem! This little restaurant packs a ton of understated class and elegance in their decor and their food presentation. And the flavors of their dishes are subtle, rich and truly delicious. From the moment you walk in the door the manager greets you and the staff make sure you well taken care of. They have a very affordable daily Prix Fixe menu that runs through the weekends and includes an appetizer or soup of the day, a main pasta dish, and a glass of wine. The portions are filling and the quality of the food is divine. My wife and I went on a Saturday afternoon and we are both picky eaters. I like bold flavors and she can't handle even a little bit of spice and we walked away full and happy. For our appetizers she had the pumpkin soup of the day with roasted pumpkin seeds on top and I had the pesto bruschetta as appetizers. Her soup was rich, slightly sweet and the toasted seeds added a lovely bit of texture. My bruschetta had Mascarpone that was whipped to within an inch of it's life and was just scrumptious. We both had the chicken milanese Napolitan. I had mine with a side salad and she had whipped sweet and savory potatoes. The chicken was flavorful and juicy and not the slightest bit greasy or heavy. The greens and tomatoes tasted like they came fresh from the green market. The house wine was delicious and the panna cotta and tiramisu desserts we had were simply wonderful. The meal was a bargain and a feast for the senses. Chef Roberto not only makes everything from scratch when you order but the way he plates his dishes shows off his skill and love of cooking. We can't wait to go back and try their pizza, and I'm especially looking forward to their Argentinian pizza and their lasagna. Bottom line: Don't wait to check them out. Their prices can't be beat, their food is to die for and the staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. A true LES hidden treasure.

Yelp
We just had delivery from here Friday ... great tasting food and we were very happy - except for one little blip. I had the Asparagus and Lemon Risotto, if you love risotta you will love this. I also ordered the Eggplant Hunter Style, the taste was great, but the eggplant was not really ripe, so like most unripe eggplant it was almost impossible to cut or chew, unfortunately for this dish the eggplant needs to be very ripe so that it absorbs the flavors. My girlfriend had the Fugazza Pizza, which she loved and the Pumpkin Soup, also loved. We will definitely order from here again this week, but we will avoid all the eggplant offerings. Sad because they have several eggplant dishes, and I love eggplant. I have eaten literally thousands of eggplants as a lifelong vegetarian, so it's okay. Also, they have many many vegetarian options. Some chefs just can't figure out how to select and cook eggplant, I'm certainly not going to judge this great restaurant by what is a fairly common issue, when everything else was perfect.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place because they were offering free sangria tastings out front. I loved the idea of Argentinian Italian fusion so we decided to sit down for dinner. I didn't catch the waiters name, I'm almost certain he was also the owner. He was super attentive and led us to an amazing glass of Malbec. We started with the fluke ceviche, which sat atop of slice of sweet potato and was topped with sliced red onion. It was super simple yet very flavorful. We asked for entree suggestions and were guided towards the veal Neapolitana Milanesa. I'm so glad we said yes because it honestly got better with every bite! Another simple dish, veal topped with mozzarella and tomato, just done right. We also ordered the braised beef ravioli, which we learned was fresh made in house just a few hours prior. Over the meal we chatted about the food with the owner and ended up sharing a chocotorte for dessert. It was more like a chocolate cheesecake mouse. The owner listed some ingredients for us but said there were 2 secret ingredients he couldn't give away since he didn't want anyone to steal the recipe! It was so rich and sweet but went fabulously with our wine. We licked the spoons clean! I know this place is brand new, and I'm sure they'll have kinks to work out for being new to town and In a small space but I'm so excited to go back and try more of the dishes!

Yelp
Cute neighborhood place with Argentine Italian cuisine. All homemade with high quality ingredients simply but perfectly prepared. Wine and beer available. They had a special , house malbec 30. We also had bruschetta too. But went so fast we didn't have time to take a pic. The stratcciatela the winner. Definitely come here again. Very good service

Yelp
We were just waiting in the neighborhood and wanted to have a glass a wine. They were so nice and recommended a great white wine which was fantastic. Have not been here for food but they are so nice and we can't wait to come back for dinner!

Yelp
Went yesterday with my girlfriend on a date! The waiter was super super nice and attentive. Every food item we ordered was delicious and paired really well with the Argentine wine. Definitely will come back to try all the other dishes :)

Yelp
Came to this new restaurant for dinner and didn't particularly love. There are much better Italian spots in the area - this place serves Italian food primarily despite being Argentinian. The food was pretty average but ended up still being quite expensive. That said, I think they're more of a daytime wine bar vs a dinner destination. The sangria we had was actually quite good (but I believe $16+ if I remember correctly?).

Stephen M.

Yelp
Great food, friendly people and a comfortable atmosphere. I went here with a six person group and we all loved it.

Alvaro S.

Yelp
I had dinner last night at this restaurant. A great find. They made everything from scratch from the gnocchi to the pasta .Delicious food and good selection of Argentinian wines. The stuff and personalize service makes this place a great neighborhood restaurant.I can't wait to go back again!

Nicole N.

Yelp
A small Argentinian restaurant featuring some Argentinian wine that honestly just taste like deliciously chilled sangria already in a bottle. We got the chicken cutlets that comes with mashed sweet potatoes or a side salad

Yelp
Great food, great wine, excellent service and a very nice and intimate ambiance. My wife and I stumbled upon this place by accident two months ago and now it's one of the few places in NYC where we like to visit religiously at least once a month. Sergio, I believe the owner, is very knowledgeable, kind and willing to recommend you items from the menu based on what you like. I've tried a few things from the menu and everything has been so great, seriously. I'm not particularly a sweets person but their chocotorta is really that good! Nothing in NYC like it. Best Argentinian restaurant in Manhattan. Go try it!

Megan E.

Yelp
Amazing meal with really thoughtful, attentive service. The owner himself helped me pick a perfect wine which I paired with the lovely Argentinian style gnocchi. Finished the meal with a a small sample of chocotortta. I'm not a huge dessert person, but I get it now! A impromptu trip, but I will definitely be back with friends.

Yelp
My partner and I stumbled upon this place by accident on our way to a different restaurant. He adores Argentine wine and has spent significant time in the country so we always make time to go to any local Argentine restaurants. Sergio and Alejandro both provide amazing service and you can tell they are both really passionate about food and wine. We love this place and cannot wait to come back!

Holly F.

Yelp
Thoughtful and well crafted cuisine in a relaxed and refined setting. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
If you crave Argentinian food or want to learn about it, one of the best places you can go is this small but full of quality options restaurant. Great pizzas, pastas and wines, the milanesas are to die for and don't miss the chocotorta it is sublime. Sergio, it's owner is a great host and he will make you feel at home. I'll be back and I hope they keep their high standards.

Yelp
This is a great place for wine (30 dollar per bottle promotion rn) with excellent fusion Italian food! I come by every week and never disappoint!
