"The chain operates branches in Hunan and Guangdong, but everything started in this flagship venue with a landscaped garden and a running stream. Its namesake signature dish is rice cooked in a pigeon and pork bone broth, boasting a crispy golden crust on the bottom and topped with steamed pigeon or a combo of pigeon meat and gizzards. Besides deep-fried or salt-baked fowl, the sautéed squid with cucumber is also a must." - Michelin Inspector

Fantastic roast pigeon. The best I had. The rest of the dishes were also up to standard. Very crowded even before lunch / dinner time. Best is to go during off peak timing. They advised going at 11am, but I went at 4pm. Can just walk in and get a table.

We had our best pigeon in dagefan! The pigeons were perfectly seasoned and crisped. The waiter recommended us to finish the pigeon within 6 min to keep the freshness of the pigeon. However, the claypot rice was a little bit lacking. We felt that it’s not cooked long enough and didn’t have the fragrant smell that claypot rice should have. The service here was top notch, incredibly attentive to our needs.

Highly recommended place to have a meal. Tried two versions of the pigeons. The brinjal was tasty, just a little oily. The hot pot rice was fragrant. The chicken soup in coconut was interesting to try. 3 storey of seatings. Interior decoration was old fashion. We came at 4.30pm and seated 4.50pm on a Friday (08 Aug 25). Those who came later will face an hour of wait.

Lovely place to go for Cantonese cuisine especially if you like pigeon in all sorts of cooking method we got a private room to the hotel. Very nice dining area doesn’t cost too much less than $150 for us to consume Singapore dollars to consume for 5 pax.

Ordered the set menu from DianPing for 198 RMB. The pigeon gizzard is min 4 per order at 10 RMB each. Juicy and quite big piece consider the size of the pigeon. Braised fried pigeon is super nice, flavorful, succulent and juicy. Claypot rice is ok for me. Braised tofu is a plus point for me cause of the sauce and the wild fungus. Came at 11:30am so there is no waiting for 2 pax. Fully packed ard 12 noon

1st time having pigeon and I am not a fan of it.... it is soooo gamey. More gamey than duck. There's a distinct pigeon flavour/smell to it. So I suggest you order 1 pigeon to share among 2 pax first. Cauliflower was nice!! Although very oily. The fried rice was nice too but I just can't take the gamey smell of the pigeon.

Long queue but we managed to get in quite fast as many in front of us didn’t turn up and the numbers just kept skipping until it’s our turn. Try to send someone to queue earlier at least 30 minutes before meal time. The food was great and the service was excellent, serving time was super fast as it’s their policy and promise to clients to serve within 30 minutes. Must try their roast pigeon and claypot rice. Highly recommended!

A pretty good Michelin star award winning restaurant. The roasted goose was good but nothing I would come back for, nor pay the price for when small siu places sell it for cheaper. I did enjoy pork garlic ribs, and the chow flat noodles. And definitely recommend coming early in the morning as the wait times at night are crazy.
