A beautifully designed bar with great ambiance and well-crafted drinks. We didn’t try the food, so can’t speak to that. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. When we arrived, there was no host or staff in sight—we had to track someone down just to confirm the bar was open. The bartender who eventually served us was noticeably unfriendly and disengaged. We waited quite a while for both our drinks and again when we requested the check.
The bar’s connection to a restaurant made the setting feel less intimate, and the use of plastic table candles felt out of place in such an otherwise thoughtfully decorated space.
My husband and I are longtime fans of Scarlett (also owned by Michael Imperioli), which consistently delivers a much better experience. Going forward, we’ll be sticking with that one.
