"We were pretty excited when Scarlet Lounge, from White Lotus and Sopranos star Michael Imperioli, opened on the Upper West Side. Imperioli now has a second loungey bar nearby: Dahlia is on Columbus Ave., between 72nd and 73rd, and located in the former party space of the bistro next door (owned by Imperioli’s restaurant partner). The bar is orange and copper to Scarlet’s red and gold." - will hartman
Sibling to ‘Sopranos’ Bar, Dahlia Opens on the Upper West Side - Eater NY
"The bar, a sibling to Scarlet, features tile flooring, copper-rimmed stools at a marble bar, velvet mid-century chairs, and other period accents. It will be open daily starting at 5 p.m. and offer a range of snacks and cocktails." - Melissa McCart
Beautiful vibe, phenomenal cocktails, and excellent service. Our server was so wonderful and I wish I knew her name because she was so classy and kind to the most nasty and disrespectful woman next to us. It was clear this woman just wanted to get a free drink and threw an hour long toddler-level tantrum while our server responded with nothing but grace. I wish I had the patience of the staff here! I will definitely be recommending to friends and frequenting often!

Great spot on the UWS for a drink. The menu had a nice selection of classic and signature cocktails. The food looked great, even though we didn’t order any. I look forward to going back and trying more!

Phenomenal spot. It’s beautifully designed with great drinks and vibes. The space is small but totally worth a visit.

Just opened when we went so they were working out some things - way too bright, some cocktails where improperly balanced/labeled - like the Normandy Daiquiri: there’s no citrus, so it’s actually a riff on a Negroni and it was so sweet and perfume-y (yuck), but still had a great experience. I’ll come back again and hope they’ve ironed some things out. Happy to have a bar like this nearby.

Service needs work, waited 25 minutes with an empty drink before the server/hostess asked if we wanted another, and another 20 to get the check, even though we were the only patrons in the place on a Tuesday at 5pm. Hoping service improves because the place is cute.

Yelp
Dahlia is the sister bar to Scarlett. I really like Scarlett so I wanted to try Dahlia.
In terms of looks, both bars are similiar. They have similiar drink menus. Dahlia serves food but I think Scarlett's menu may have slightly more things to choose from.
I had a gin and tonic and warm pretzels at Dahlia. Everything was good as extracted. The pretzel cheese is so so yummy!
Service was attentive and friendly. This bar is smaller than Scarlett, and there's only a handful of seats. When I showed up, no one else was in there but I can see how it can get crowded in here very fast.

Yelp
Dahlia was a nice restaurant with a cool vibe going on. The happy hour and drinks were decent. I did enjoy the signature cocktails offered.
Didn't have a pleasant experience with the food as the tuna was completely ice cold and bland.
I was surprised to find additional seating towards the back/right of the restaurant that had a red theme filled with eccentric mirrors.

Yelp
Very cute bar -- sister to Scarlet, I believe. But it is toned down. Servers were really nice and recommended drinks for me and my friend. The bartender even remade a drink because my friend didn't really like it. It's a great spot to grab a quick drink and be able to talk to people because it's not too loud or crowded.

Yelp
Ambiance was really nice but the lights were too bright. It said they were open later but when we arrived the waitress said they were closing. The drinks were good but I didn't like that I felt like I was keeping someone from going home. It makes me sad because there need to be more cute little places like this on the UWS. But... I guess this is what we get post Covid.

Yelp
Popped into Dahlia early on its second night open. The staff were very welcoming, the drinks were delicious, and the ambience was great. The manager stopped by several time to check in. The cocktails are pricey, but pretty much what you expect for a nicer place in this part of town. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I am a big fan of Scarlett Lounge and thought it would be a nice idea to try their second lounge.
It is extremely tiny and it is too small to have any ambiance.
The drinks are not as good as their original lounge and are served in smaller glasses for the same price.
Not a big fan...
