"Even though this place isn’t related to the Grove’s Daily Bread, we like it for many of the same reasons. This Daily Bread makes great kibbeh platters that come with two sides (get the labneh and hummus) and pita. They also make a big falafel sandwich that tastes even better knowing it only costs $8. The market’s red leather booths fill up during lunch with elderly couples and high schoolers who have nothing in common except their desire for a good affordable meal and an entertaining stroll through cardamom-infused coffees and teas, canned dolmadakia, several different brands of labneh, and Turkish delights." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer

"Family-owned Daily Bread is a Middle Eastern restaurant and marketplace offering many staples from Israel, Greece, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. Proteins like chicken gyro and falafel are prepared as sandwiches, salads, rice bowls, or a platter with sides. A fixture and vegetarian favorite in Pinecrest since 1978, the entire menu is available for take-out and catering, or dine in next to colorful mural of eggplants and zucchinis." - Stacy A. Moya

First time coming in got a great impression from the staff and selection of items on the shelves. Staff is super helpful, I came in as the kitchen was closed but they were happy to serve what they could and said I could order ahead and they would hold it, which I appreciate I lot. Food is super flavorful, Mediterranean/ middle eastern food is hit or miss for me. This place hits all the spots, super tasty and I’m glad I found it, and so local too because the food is great.

Google
Unfortunately I will have to give this place a 1 star. I drove 40 minutes to get here, was excited for the food, paid $82 total. They forgot my Kafta, so I didn’t get that. I ordered a pound of rice and the gave me 0.6 pounds. Weighed the rice, while in the container. I ordered a pound of chicken and at least this was a bit closer, but weighed, IN THE CONTAINER, 0.8 pounds. And I ordered a half pound of the fava and chickpea salad, and only got 0.3 pounds, again weighed with the containers. The humus was a bit too sharp. The wraps had way too much veggies and not enough meat. And the wraps weren’t cut… I understand if it was served open like I usually have it at these kinds of restaurants but it was served as a wrap, so cut it in half then down the middle. The Kibbie was just bad. Nowhere near enough filling, and just not good. I will say the pita chips were good, the meat itself was alright, the chicken gyro is better than the chopped chicken, and the falafel was average at best, would not say bad. Now idk if it’s just for me, but everything was underweight, feels scammy, something is going on here. Literally everything was noticeably underweight, the rice was just disrespectful, and they did not even give me all the items from my order. Very disappointing. (Reply to Daily Bread owner’s reply): Appreciate your response, maybe when you order at the restaurant you got charged by wtv is weighed, but when you go for pick up, at least my experience, I chose 1 pound, and was charged for the full pound.

Google
Hopefully this place never goes out of business. It’s a cafeteria-style spot and one of the rare places nowadays where prices aren’t heavily inflated. The portions are generous and usually last for two meals. More importantly, the food is both delicious and healthy. We always leave feeling full/ satisfied, but never sick or weighed down. The staff and owner are also wonderful. The owner is often there, always appreciative of our business, and has even held the door open for us several times. Also worth mentioning are the baked goods, they’ve never disappointed me.

Google
We tried a shawarma sandwich, chicken gyro, falafel and the baklava. When I tell you this is the freshest, most delicious Mediterranean/Greek food in Miami, believe me. Amazing flavors, kind staff, clean establishment, vegetarian options which is inclusive and delicious. 10/10, can’t wait to come back. Prices are very reasonable.

Google
Great store/eatery. They have a vast selection of middle eastern products, like beans, sauces, spices, oils and teas. Their hot food line has a myriad of middle eastern delights. I have not tried something I haven't liked yet. Their staff is friendly and the owners are good people as I've had conversation with them in the past. I drive almost an hour every month or two to go down there and shop

Google
The food is excellent. Good, fresh freshly baked. However, the service was lacking this time. I went not sure the guy's name but kind of rude.

Google
The staff here is always nice no matter who’s serving you and the food is always good! I go there often and have never been disappointed. Food is affordable and quick since the food is already ready. They serve all the classics, and specials of the day.

Viviana Jimenez

Google
I have coming here for years. It's my go to place as the food has been excellent and service as well. Today I had an awful experience the gyro chicken cut thinner than ever and no taste. The roasted veggies hard as a rock. What happened? The new guy today apparently didn't weight the meats because I got a lot less than usual and quality was not good. I hope they were just having a bad day. I really like this place

Karen V.

Yelp
Gigi was so sweet and knowledgeable on all the toppings and platters, my husband and I wanted to buy the entire store. You can see the high quality of the products as well as the ingredients. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Nicolas and he was extremely welcoming! The ambiance is nicely laid out with plenty of chocolate, and produce to choose from, the establishment is maintained clean. Will most definitely be back, high quality, delicious food, amazing service. 10/10

Yelp
The most delicious and authentic Middle East & Mediterranean food in Miami! Their menu is simple, salad, wrap or platter. We had the giro wrap and it was so delicious! The pita was soft, the giro was tasty, the tzatziki was creamy and the veggies were fresh. They also have a little market and a bakery with fresh baklava.

Katelin K.

Yelp
I guess I've been living under a rock because this was my first time at The Daily Bread. For those of you also living under a rock it is a market and a restaurant. It is set up cafeteria style & you can eat in house or take to go. I ordered the gyro platter with a Greek salad and hummus. The platter comes with a pita and was fantastic! I came in at lunch and it was pretty busy. The service was quick and food was great!

Bea F.

Yelp
Amazing small Mediterranean restaurant located in Pinecrest. Has been a staple for years and has very good options for food, fast service and lots of options. Food is always fresh and they serve you a good quantity size. Parking is easily accessible! Always recommend this place and a clean option for food Ordered : Curry Chicken platter with Tabouli and rice

Matt N.

Yelp
I would love to review this place but unfortunately I never got any food. The place was busy for a Sunday. I attempted to order for and was told to wait for 10 mins for my order. Well after 30 mins an employee noticed me sitting in front of her and asked if I needed help. At this point I no longer had the patience to wait. Good luck to this business I heard a lot of good things.

Isabelle T.

Yelp
Nothing better than getting a bite to eat while getting Mediterranean groceries. I was in the Pinecrest area and I found this on the way and decided that I'd look for some Mediterranean cheese and snacks that I love. Surely enough, they had them. I got some groceries and had a small side of tabbouleh and it was really good and quick. The service was very good. They were very friendly and accommodating. I like the way it was divided down so that if you were there for a nice Mediterranean meal, you can order from a variety of options that they have and have it there. Theres a whole section of tables and chairs to have your meal so it's not just a to go meal. And on the other hand, if you wanted to shop for some groceries, there are many shelves and refrigerators to look through. Guaranteed you will not leave empty handed. There are just too many delicious options, whether you want to have an entire meal, a small side of tabbouleh, some pastries, some desserts or just shop!

Farah A.

Yelp
Daily Bread has mastered the art of Middle Eastern home-y delights. From the grocery the offers a wide selection of Lebanese, Jordanian, Syrian, and Palestinian treats, like cheeses, sauces, spices and more -- to their bakery and kitchen area that serves one of my favorite platters in Miami. I enjoy coming here to stock up on Arabic food and can guarantee that they'll have what I'm looking for. OH! And do not sleep on their homemade ice cream, the flavors are so unique and the ice cream is just perfection. I will say, I wish the service was a bit more welcoming, the workers didn't really know about any of the products I was looking for and couldn't help me with much. But overall, I love the Daily Bread sooo much!

Caroline S.

Yelp
I can always count on the daily bread to feed my cravings for Mediterranean food. Never disappoints.

Sylvia G.

Yelp
My favorite lunch spot in the area! The food is amazing and so fresh. I always get the chicken kabob platter with either veggies and beets or veggies and one of the cous cous. My husband gets the gyro sandwich almost everyday for lunch and absolutely loves it. The pita is made right there and is the best pita in miami. The spring rolls are the best spring rolls I've ever had. My favorite sauce is the daily bread sauce. The staff is so kind and helpful to me always! Don't forget a fresh baked sour dough bread at check out (limited).

Lynda C.

Yelp
I have an issue when an establishment nickel and dimes you. This place makes me so uncomfortable with their tip requests. Tipping has gotten our of hand and it's bad enough they ask for a tip with take out, but with grocery shopping? Went in and got a few items from their prepared food area, from THE SHELVES. No one helped me, no one served me. I carried my goods to the cashier and when she rang it up, they had the nerve to ask me for a tip. To put a few items in a bag at the counter? Tip started at 15%. For eat-in, you order from a food line and carry it to a table. No table service. Where do you get off asking for a tip? Such a cheap way of treating your customer with guilt, asking for a tip on the screen. Never!!!

Ava D.

Yelp
I've gone here for over a decade, love their food, and their prices are unbeatable. I've always gotten either the chicken or the falafel platter with rice pilaf and their hummus. They also serve a delish purple aioli. The service is always great, the ambiance is very nice, music is always moderately loud, and they have a section of food, kind of like a grocery store which is neat!

Kelli K.

Yelp
This is such a reliable restaurant/market. Although their meals are always delicious, I find their hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouli, and pita to be staples for gatherings. This is the first place I think of when asked to host or visit dinner parties. The dips are always a crowd favorite!

Blanca M.

Yelp
Even when you don't know what you're eating, the food is good! I usually take things to go but decided to order a platter today to eat there: sumac chicken, rice and babaganoush ($12.99). I would give this a five star but there server was particularly impatient and annoyed that I had questions about the different food options. But the food was good and so this was forgiven. Someone who seems like an owner and manager was much more kind and understanding and able to explain with more patience. Unfortunately all the tables were very dirty and In my time there never saw anyone wipe things down or even offer to clean them for those eating in. I later went to their refrigerated drinks to buy a bottled yogurt drink, but the girl first charged me 8.99 for this 16 fluid ounce bottle. I stared back in disbelief...inflation can't be this bad?! I said I wouldn't buy it at that price. She then said, let me check the price again. $3.20...now that's more reasonable...

Natalie S.

Yelp
The staff is extremely rude here. Don't ask any questions about the food they will roll their eyes. Food is mediocre and warmed up in the microwave.

Christian D.

Yelp
I had no idea they had a second store in Cutler Bay. I had been to the one near UM a few years ago and assumed that was the only one. Went here for lunch with a friend/co worker. This one is much smaller in size that the one near UM. They have like 3 shelves with various products to buy and 2 displays that have sweets on them. A small cooler has beverages. The menu board is a nice LED one that shows all of the varieties they offer. I got a DB rice bowl with chicken and a side of spicy sauce of some sort. Loved the flavor in it and wish it had a tad more heat. The bowl was ok, but nothing special that you can't find anywhere else at placed that have these make your own bowls. Service was TOP NOTCH and every one was realllllly friendly. Seating is limited so if you go during a bust time, you will not get to sit. They seem to do a lot of take out. They make pita bread there and you can watch them do so. Very clean overall. Prices are on par with most places like this, the DB rice bowl was $11.50. Try it out if you are in the area and want something with a Mediterranean vibe.

Sarah S.

Yelp
I've been ordering from Daily Bread for years and it's easily one of my favorites. Lately I've been ordering it via Uber Eats and I'm always satisfied with the portions given. They pay attention to any modification or notes detailed, which I really appreciate. My go to is the chicken gyro platter with three sides - hummus, greek salad, and their fava & chickpea salad. Always hits the spot. The pita that comes with it is always fresh and delicious. Pro tip, they have some really great sauces that I always add to my order. The DB sauce is great and their hot sauce is as well. I mix the hot sauce in with the hummus and it's the best!

Claudia C.

Yelp
Always fresh food and service is good, ambience is quiet and good selection to eat inside the restaurant or to buy to cook at home

Brenda O.

Yelp
Food is always delicious at a fair price. Service is ok. Kids are friendly and work quick. I have never eaten there only carry out so I can't comment on ambiance.

Christina O.

Yelp
Decided to splurge for lunch today and got an entree and 3 sides! Had the first piece of moussaka of the day and WOW. The cheese, beef, and eggplant combo was to die for. The tabouleh was was refreshing as usual. The lentil rice provided the iron boost we all need. The hummus and pita combo.. perfection. Their pitas are so fluffy. Amazing lunch

Jessica F.

Yelp
This place is definitely a most try! They have so many different type of Greek food as well as groceries, candy, dessert, and more. The food they serve here is very delicious! Out of everything I would recommend to try the Gyro sandwich (Extremely tasty) and the fava & chickpea salad ( Very delicious) but again everything is a must try! ( if you have any pistachios allergy please be aware they do have a lot of this with pistachios ask before eating) Food is a 5 star for me. But I rated this a 4 star because it is very pricey. Other than that this place is awesome!

Noel R.

Yelp
the best of the best, always hits the spot! Food is amazing and reasonably priced. they have a bunch of options, and the staff is always super nice. place is cozy and they have a little market where you can get goodies that you might need as well. I am vegan, and my options are always fire. best hummus ever!

Carol V.

Yelp
Always yummy food! And great prices. I would give it a five but there's new staff and they were a little all over the place. Before it wasn't like that, but the food is still delicious.

Keturah F.

Yelp
This spot was recommended to me by my chiropractor 5+ years ago and I finally got the chance to stop in! I'll begin by saying the food was delicious. There were options for our varying dietary needs and preferences. Vegetarians can definitely find something tasty here without sacrificing flavor or freshness. We left feeling satisfied, not overly full or sickly stuffed. The service was good; ambience was great for lunch. Kid-friendly, family friendly, group friendly. I will coming back very soon!

Sonia A.

Yelp
For the best Mediterranean cuisine in Pinecrest, head over to Daily Bread! They have delectable food! A mix of meats and plenty of vegetables to satisfy your dietary needs! I love their rices and eggplant m, thee gyros are the best with the freshest ingredients! We get lunch from here at least once a week in my office! And I mean we get lunch for at least six of us at a time! They also have falafel fries which you can eat for lunch and it's a good portion not too big not too small! You won't be disappointed with their food and desserts! I guarantee it!

Michael C.

Yelp
I wanted a falafel wrap, this place didn't disappoint. And the prices were pretty good to match.

Samantha W.

Yelp
I know there used to be a Daily Bread off of US1 and 17th but I didn't know there was one down south. I haven't been to the other one in like 15+ years but when I saw this was nearby my appointment I had to stop in. Think of this as a fast casual place with food as well as a market with some Mediterranean groceries. In terms of their plated food... they have platters that come with two sides, a pita, and sauces, salads and bowls, and tons of other options. They also have a lot of desserts available like my all-time favorite baklava. The pita is made fresh daily and it was delicious, light, and fluffy - not the hard stuff you sometimes get at other place; the grape leaves were soft and pretty big, and had a nice lemon taste to them; the tabbouleh was light and refreshing and had a perfect balance of ingredients; I felt that the kafta was a bit overcooked which might have been because it was microwaved; I also felt that the falafel may have been a bit overcooked and it was also microwaved. However, the kafta and the falafel both tasted great. The baklava was so rich in flavors I really loved every bite of it.

I Q.

Yelp
This is a review for Daily Bread in Pinecrest. There's a big difference from the other location . We ordered several plates to go from this restaurant. Two platters gyros, kafta. It was delicious, plenty of food. The gyros, and chicken sandwich were also very good. It was a pretty large order and everything was perfect. If you are looking for food that's healthy, Mediterranean and value for your money this is it. Highly recommended.

Suzette C.

Yelp
This place is my go to for my Greek food cravings. I had the gyro platter with my two side being the pickled cabbage and tabouli salad. I had hummus at home to put together my pita bites. I also ordered a small lentil rice also sooo good, 4 mini kibees and pistachio bird nest baklava my go to treats. There are more treats and food but this was for me alone and my craving for the night. I wish they would move one closer to the cutler Bay Area but then I'd be there all the time. Love me some Greek food and if you've never had it please try.

Elsie F.

Yelp
We ordered food here for the Super Bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our order was ready on time and packaged nicely. Their hummus is amazing, but everything was great!

Michele S.

Yelp
Great food. Love everything they make however Restaurant could be cleaner and service friendlier.

Juan B.

Yelp
Great Greek food, great service, all the ladies offered a great service and go into details to explain what they have. I did not go into the market to explore but I'm sure there is plenty of goodies. Deserts are out of this world and prices are really affordable. Please visit and experience this Greek restaurant and market.

Shana M.

Yelp
This spot is literally my favorite Mediterranean spot. The food taste like it's made with love, the prices are reasonable and the staff are always friendly. The chicken platter or falafel platter are my favorite. I'm always torn on choosing just two sides for my platter, I absolutely love this spot.

Summer h.

Yelp
This is perfect for take out or a nice lunch with friends. I suggest getting the yellow chicken with rice pilaf and Greek salad. Best Tziki in town. With quick service and nice people.

Phoenix 7.

Yelp
Someone should really do a health inspection on this place. Just got food from here today. Samosas were refrigerated cold. Lentil rice... lentils are raw. Falafel raw,the only thing edible was the French fries, remarkablly hot. Chicken inedible. This food was served to the executive chef of a local hospital. Inedible.

Nicole Cordova M.

Yelp
This place is great for Mediterranean food. You come in and order at the counter and take your food to one of the tables. The people are friendly and have good recommendations. My friend is vegan and they gave her plenty of options to pick from. They have bowls you can make or eat your food as a platter. I had the Mediterranean bowl with falafels and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. you get to pick your protein and base. Mine was rice base, falafel for protein, and it came with humus, tabouli, and Kalamata olives.

Gigliola D.

Yelp
I love Daily Bread! Food is always fresh and delicious. Yesterday, I placed an order online a d when it did not arrive at the allotted time 40 min after time online) and I did not get any message from the delivery car I called the store. They let me know my order was there and they were not sure why DoorDash had not picked it up. The person on the phone who I do not know if he was the owner or manager apologized and told me he would deliver it himself. 15 min later he was at the door! That is what you call amazing customer service!

Maria A.

Yelp
Went here on my sister's recommendation as she wanted to try their food. I love gyros so I was eager to have a traditional gyro. This restaurant is a Mediterranean restaurant and store. You can find products such as soaps, bake goods and food by the pound. I ordered the gyro sandwich which is a traditional gyro except they added pickled cabbage which I never had before. We ordered the DB Frye's which is French Fries, feta cheese, pieces of gyro meat, olives and tziki sauce. The place is casual and you place the order your self and either wait for your food to be called or you wait by the counter

Gloricel F.

Yelp
Amazing food and service , variety of Mediterranean produces . I can't stop eating there

M M.

Yelp
Outstanding food and friendly staff. Nice quiet ambience despite being off of us-1. Worth the bucks for the amount of food you get too.

Niurka P.

Yelp
So far my favorite place here In Florida. I had try so many places for a couple of years and the food is horrible, I had to cook every single day but now I had found a good place to eat.

Sam R.

Yelp
Everything is delicious. Love the lamp platter and falafel sandwich. Very fast and efficient service.

Eli E.

Yelp
Best place to go when you want them to get your order wrong :) happens every time. Food is good though, you just probably won't get what you paid for. Oh yes and the staff sometimes is rude.

Tricia K.

Yelp
We love the food here! Today we got a gyro sandwich, 1lb of gyro meat, 2 fries and 3 tzatziki sauces! We ordered for pick up and everything was bagged and ready when I went inside. Quick and easy and the food is delicious!

William G.

Yelp
One of my absolutely favorite local spots! The staff is always warm and welcoming, fairly priced for incredibly delicious food! The gyro and shawarma are both incredible every time!

Evelio C.

Yelp
I love The Daily Bread! It's conveniently located right off US-1 and there's ample parking available. The food is always fresh and they give a good amount. I had the chicken salad which comes with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, red and green peppers, pickled cabbage and cucumber. For those of you that like eating with your eyes, it has great color variety! The pickled cabbage adds a great ~slight~ acidic taste. It's a good amount and filling, but doesn't make you feel "nasty" full after. You know, like when you eat and feel nasty full, and question yourself why you just ate all that food. It's very refreshing! I've had their other offerings like the Gyro platter and Pita Wrap. The rice pilaf is amazing!! The service is great too, they always have a smile on their face. The lady at the register was extra nice, even asked us how our day was going. :)

Sydney S.

Yelp
Ever since I went to Greece I have been looking for good Greek food here in Miami and I've found it! Loooove their gyro platter! It's my go to lunch spot

Alina R.

Yelp
HANDS DOWN.... This is my fav Mediterranean place to go to !Everything I tried is finger-licking good! You have to try this place, your taste buds will thank you. (P.S best falafel sandwich)

Mel M.

Yelp
Not a great choice for good middle eastern food and poor service. Upon ordering a simple felafel sandwich, they served up cold dry felafel balls, and wanted to charge extra for a shmear of hummus. After paying their high prices, we asked for freshly made felafel and we were told they would "warm it up". What came back were 3 hard tasteless balls that had the consistency of a hockey puck. When we asked for freshly made felafel - they told us it was too late in the day - and they were no longer making any more. This was at 7pm - a few hours before closing - in the heart of dinner time. Instead of making a fuss in public - we threw out the felafel and ate the pita and veggies inside. This is NOT the first time that this has happened. They act like they are doing you a favor to serve you. PASS on this lousy joint. Don't waste your money. Go elsewhere ....

Nick C.

Yelp
Daily Bread is a Pinecrest institution. I come here often to pick up lunch and am never disappointed! Whether you're looking for a mouth-watering gyro, savory grape leaves, or want to delve a little deeper and explore their stuffed cabbage Daily Bread delivers on authenticity, flavor, and service. This is a family-run business and they treat their customers like family. Don't skimp on desserts. Their baklava is, in my opinion, the best around. And if you're looking for a quick snack they have tons of options, such as their spanakopita. One of the best features of this place is their market that sells an array of Mediterranean products. This is a great place because they've got food that appeals to any eater and any diet for a reasonable price.
