Daily Dose Coffee - Review - Reynoldstown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"A few years ago the words Madison Yards meant nothing (unless your name was actually Madison and you had a yard), but now the shopping plaza has transformed into one of the busiest areas off the BeltLine. The Daily Dose sits on the outskirts of this plaza and is usually full of people who see ice lattes as an accessory. Luckily the coffee here (from Stumptown coffee) is pretty decent, so real coffee drinkers in the neighborhood can still get their fix at this modish, always-busy spot." - Juli Horsford

Delicious lavender latte (floral without being sticky sweet!), the espresso in it was perfectly pulled and I know their machine gets regularly cleaned and calibrated because you can taste when it isn't. Too many places in Atlanta don't. The service was fast and I'm sorry I didn't get the guys name because I didnt anticipate liking it enough to leave a review. We were there this Monday, after noon. Whoever he was, he was sweet and non-judgemental! Loved the displays and design of the place, just a little quiet and stuffy, atmosphere-wise. Like the quiet rooms in a library, felt like we were going to get shushed for talking at normal volume, which felt like shouting with how dead silent it was in there. Will be back, promise to be quieter 🥴

Came in tonight and the person taking the orders didn’t speak when my friend and I walked in. It was clear that we hadn’t been here before and she didn’t inform us about the menu. She simply seemed annoyed that we were here. We ordered coffee and matcha latte. My latte almost looked like straight milk and you could barely taste the coffee. We felt so dismissed we didn’t even sit down to drink our drinks. If you are an African American they may not want your business.

Google
I absolutely loved my visit to Daily Dose Coffee! The shop was super clean and had such an inviting atmosphere—it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while. The customer service was excellent; the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I ordered an iced maple brown sugar latte, and it was amazing—smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to. Highly recommend!

Google
My friends and I really want to like this place, but it's very uncomfortable to go here. This coffee shop has pretty much become the apartment for the same 2-3 homeless men who are there open to close, every day. Taking up tables on the outside and inside, multiple large foul-smelling bags and luggage strewn about the front of the building, men going in and out of the bathroom a dozen times every 30 minutes, in and out the front door every 5 minutes, lurching over me and my friends and making strange comments, and things like that I find unappealing about returning. I can understand being empathetic to the homeless, but coming here feels like I'm just intruding on their home at this point because it seems like just these 2-3 men are the only customer base this business is catering to, even they ever even buy anything. If you're going to house them there literally all day for months maybe consider helping them by hiring them, or at least doing something more for them than turning the business into what looks like a Greyhound station.

Google
I'm not sure how Atlanta manages with so many coffee spots, but I was just driving around and needed a cup of coffee. What a great surprise to find another unique coffee shop with amazing decor, great coffee, and, best of all, a perfect place to get some work done away from home. I only had a latte, which was delicious, and based on my first experience, I’m definitely recommending this spot. Why go to Starbucks when you can support our local coffee shops instead? Cheers, BN

Google
Vibes: moody & casual w/ a splash of sexy. Assorted Phaidon books are a wonder to explore Dining : lite bites & breakfast pastries. Wide coffee selection Overall loved the high quality service … my London Fog was one of THEE best I’ve ever had in ATL. Shout out to the Sunday AM barista! This place is open later than most coffee shops and excited to check out it out in the evening soon.

Google
I got an iced maple brown sugar matcha latte! It was decent and sweet, but the matcha tasted somewhat powdery. The cafe is decorated in a modern way with bookshelves and merch to sell. Seasonal menu mainly featured pumpkin spice and maple brown sugar. There’s only a handful of seating with outlets by the couches, but when I went, they weren’t working. Next to it, there’s a parking garage. They also have a punch card for reward system.

Went for a run on the Beltline. I parked at the Publix, then started running. After my run, I came across the Daily Dose. Nice cozy atmosphere, great customer service.

Meghan A.

Yelp
Great place to study right off of the Beltline! Usually pretty quiet, lots of people working. Not a lot of seating but usually spots to sit at the large community table. Open later than most coffee shops as well which is nice. Free parking available in the parking garage by Publix.
google avatar

Aleara L.

Yelp
The drink was not blended well. I got different notes as it went on and some were extremely bitter. The service was quick. It was hard finding seating when you need space for a laptop. The parking is free in the garage and plentiful.
google avatar

Claire H.

Yelp
The location is everything! It's by the beltine, various restaurants, and even Publix. Perfect for a quick pit stop for coffee, to catch up with friends, or even get some work done. I ordered the blueberry latte with almond milk, but that's only on the summer menu. Their drinks are around $6, which isn't too bad. They do have limited seating, and I'd also check if the outlets are working (the ones near me weren't working). Service was great too; the cafe is also a bookstore, so perfect time to look around for little souvenirs or gifts!

Yelp
Spacious coffee shop that also has a large selection of coffee table books and art prints for sell! This is located right of the beltline so you can either walk to it or there's plenty of parking nearby.
google avatar

Irene W.

Yelp
I am so impressed by this coffee shop! I'm not a big coffee connoisseur but I saw they had a summer drink menu with a mango passionfruit matcha and I subbed with oat milk and at first taste it was smooth and sweet. It's literally PERFECTLY made. I'm extremely impressed. I really hate it when matchas are too dull in taste, not sweet enough, or not smooth enough, but this hit all the marks. Much respect for Daily Dose and the staff is so friendly and kind! Such a cute and quaint coffee shop. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend.
google avatar

Shami P.

Yelp
Came here after breakfast to grab some lattes. I got the seasonal maple brown sugar latte which tasted so good and not overly sweet and my husband got the pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and he said his was tasty as well! Cute coffee shop with some seating inside as well as outside. Service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
parking and wifi are free. coffee is good but not many places to charge ur devices except at the bar tables by the window

Yelp
I usually don't drink Mocha for its sweetness but the Cafe Mocha served here was on point and I will surely keep revisiting. I wish they could serve for here coffees in cups though.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance inside, cool comfy to sit inside on a hot day. Lots of folks reading or working. My macchiato was good & strong. my friend loved her honey vanilla oat milk latte. Lots of cute unique cards & little gifts. Staff were not friendly at all.

Yelp
Honestly just kind of conflicted about this place. The pros are that the coffee is really good, and they have a little specials menu with creative flavor pairings. It's also cute on the inside and the baristas are prompt. Definitely recommend the caramel latte and rose latte. However, I wouldn't return to complete work here or to sit down. We were immediately engulfed with flies when we sat down. They were constantly landing on our drinks and all of our study materials. It was super distracting and annoying (see pictures). They were even circling the other tables next to us and the wall decor. The seating is limited so we didn't have much of a choice to move. The outlet under the seat wouldn't work and the barista said that only one wall of outlets worked in the coffee shop. And then to top it off the WiFi doesn't work, and the secondary WiFi is very slow and barely functional (you have to also ask about this and get a password). There's some free street parking around, but no dedicated lot. I really love the coffee, just wish I could make this a dedicated work space :/ don't think I'll be making a special trip to come back unfortunately

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop and book store! I love the cookbooks and food/cocktail related books they had for purchase. The variety was great and they would make excellent additions to your collection or to give as a gift! The coffee offerings were great. They have seasonal drinks like horchata or you can stick with your classics like a London fog or americano. Prices were also great and the quality of the handcrafted drinks were as well. I would definitely check this place out if you are in the area!
google avatar

Yelp
Another one of my fave coffee shops! Love the vibe and atmosphere! Also ofc great coffee :) Just not a lot of plugs around if you are planning to sit and work here for a while.

Yelp
Small. Quaint. Decent coffee. This pace is small. The place with buzzing with small meetups, people studying, or stopping in while exploring the beltline. The staff was helpful. It's a coffee shop. There was nothing overly standoutish but they don't have a nice assortment of books, coffee table books, and ocassion cards. Free parking in the garage.

Yelp
For my birthday, my good friend Mason introduced me to a newer Coffee Shop called Daily Dose ATL. Here's my thoughts - Ambiance/Vibe: From the outside the store didn't look very big, but inside it was so much more spacious. The window were large and open letting in plenty of natural light, tinted perfectly to not make it to overwhelming. - Coffee: I ordered an iced vanilla lavender latte and it was superb. I would absolutely go back for more. - Food: The location had some great pastry items available. To be transparent, I did not get to try one, but I smelled was great. - Merch: this store not only had standard brand merch but they also had an entire selections of paper goods, pins, totes, and other items, but most importantly they had an entire wall of amazing coffee table books. They ranged from art to coffee, cooking, lifestyle, and much more. I was ecstatic to see them. - Prices: while most of the consumables were pretty standard, I will say some of the merch items were a little pricey, but still good. - Staff: The two staff members we encountered were so friendly and helpful. One of the people in our group had a bunch of questions about the syrups, augers and things. They were so quick to help. All in all I would give this one a definite 5/5 , and I can't wait to try them again. Well worth the visit.

Yelp
Stopped by here while walking the beltline this afternoon and this is just the cutest place! Daily Dose has cute vibes with books on the wall upon walking in and soo much natural light. There's a couple of tables here and free wi-fi which would make it a great study place, but I can definitely see this place being too busy some days. I ordered a large nitro cold brew with almond milk and it was great! I'll definitely stop by here again!

Yelp
I bought a bag of goodies from the App Too Good To Go. It was incredible! I was surprised that for $4 I got 9 items in my bag. Mind you, Too Good To Go is an app designed to stop food waste. When you buy "surprise" bags from any of their participants the food is what's leftover for the day, and would be trashed at closing. So my items were a mix of sweet and savory 6 pastries (4 savory and 2 sweet) a blueberry scone, a savory Boursin garlic and herb turnover, and an orange zest and cranberry muffin. All we did was pop the goodies in the air fryer for a minute or two, and voila' ! They tasted as fresh as if I had just baked them myself. Definitely an adorable coffee shop, very clean, free WiFi and lots of cute retail items and books. Will definitely return

Yelp
Whenever I'm in the area, I make it a point to stop by for a caffeine fix! I love the moody black walls, warm lighting and aesthetically pleasing shelves of books. Daily Dose is located in the Madison Yards shopping center so there is a ton of free parking. I find it easiest to enter the parking garage at the entrance closest to Bill Kennedy and park in the left most row to the back. From there, there is a short walkway to the businesses facing Bill Kennedy. This coffee shop is also convenient to the Beltline! You cannot really go wrong with any of their seasonal drinks, which are on a separate menu at the counter. Their regular menu is on the wall to the right of where you order. My favorite on the regular menu is the lavender latte! They have some pastries but not a huge selection. I once got a bacon and pimiento cheese pastry which was good but pricy for $6. Service is not overly friendly, but no issues there. There are a lot of books and cute gift items for purchase. Lots of Rifle Paper Co. etc. type things which are always fun to look at. The shop is pretty small with some bar seating along the wall, a long communal table, and a few booths along the wall. There is outdoor seating.

Yelp
Strong, condensed coffee. It's perfect for sipping on while you study or knock out work. The music & pleasing esthetic, here, really gets you in the zone. I personally like that they have stationary and coffee items to shop for or simply look at while you wait on your order. Things you should know: I. PARKING Just pull into the Publix parking garage for free. Easy. II. SERVICE Kind ~ I can't complain. III. QUALITY Acidic and not watered down. I ordered a black cold brew and it fits my snobby coffee standard. I wish they had sugar free flavors here to add to the drink to make it guilt free and customizable ~ just a thought though. IV. CAPACITY Available seating for a Thursday afternoon
google avatar

Jordan T.

Yelp
Ambiance is okayy here. I like the variety of seating. I didn't however, like that everything came in to go cups. I'm a flat white/latte girl. And I need my drink in a glass mug. I get that they're off the beltline, but I could care less. Probably won't return. Pro: there is plenty of free parking in garage.
google avatar

Keondra H.

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop! They have variety of coffee table books, kids books, and apparel for purchase. I ordered a hazelnut latte that I was so excited to try. Unfortunately it was SO FREAKING SWEET!!..I couldn't finish it. I'm going to give them a chance to redeem themselves. If you are looking for hot food items to eat while there look somewhere else. They have the usual muffins and danish's.
google avatar

Jin Sol K.

Yelp
Delicious coffee, extremely cute vibes, and quick turn around on yummy drink orders. I tried to work from here, and if you choose to, I highly recommend bringing noise cancellation headphones, as the music can get really loud. Certainly hard to do any type of calls or meetings. Definitely willing to visit again! Free side street parking the street off of Bill Kennedy. Accessible from the beltline
google avatar

Tracy S.

Yelp
Great Latte Breve. Cute and unique items for sale. Ample seating inside. Love that it's in walking distance, and near other shops!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this little local coffee shop in Reynoldstown, right off the belt line. Gorgeous interior with cute cards & books (lots of cookbooks, great place to buy a gift for someone!) that greet you as you enter. High quality coffee, espresso drinks, and pastries. I tried to get a vanilla latte but appreciated that the server directed me towards the Lavender latte, noting that their latest batch of vanilla was not her favorite. It was herbal but light and super enjoyable. My friends got a regular latte and an ice coffee (Stumptown coffee) and also loved their drinks. We had a bunch of pastries from here yesterday (from Alon's Bakery!) that were fresh and super tasty. There were a few two-person tables outside if you wanted to sit with your furry-friend. All in all, a tasty place to get your caffeine fix if you care about having tasty coffee and could be a cool place to sit and do work or catch up with a friend!
google avatar

Alexis P.

Yelp
Nice spot, very calm, and very small. Free parking is always adds a star in my opinion, just park in the Publix parking deck next door. I wish there was a bit more seating but otherwise it's perfect. They use Stumptown coffee beans which makes for excellent, smooth coffee. I had the lavender latte here and thought it was great! This place is also affiliated with The Read Shop, another coffee joint in Vinings. I could've sworn the aesthetic looked similar until I looked it up to confirm.
google avatar

Jeanne C.

Yelp
The drinks are so delicious! I love their lavender matcha latte. Honestly the only bad thing about here is that its quite expensive. Their large for ice looks like small to me. The service was really nice! The guy who works there makes the drinks really tasty too. You can also come here to study since it's quiet and cozy feeling
google avatar

Rachel E.

Yelp
I love everything about Daily Dose! I come here to work on weekends so spend 1-2 hours here at a time. The staff are awesome, the service is quick, the clientele represents ATL, the coffee/tea are right up my ally (dirty pumpkin spice chia, please!), and THE MUSIC IS ALWAYS FIRE!! I just wish they had more seating so more people could enjoy it here.
google avatar

Tiff H.

Yelp
I remember that feeling of walking into the newly opened Daily Dose and getting a strange suspicion that it seems super familiar... Daily Dose and The Read Shop are owned by the same people. So if you're looking for the same quality and menu as Daily Dose, I would recommend The Read Shop if you're in that area, as well. Parking is free inside the covered parking deck near Publix. Super convenient, especially if you're trying to shield your vehicle from the summer sun. Seating inside was limited due to COVID social distancing - not sure if they have updated capacity after CDC released new guidelines. Love that they use Stumptown coffee - one of my favorite non-local roaster! From nitro to lattes to americanos, you bet that Daily Dose has it for you. I wish there were exclusive offerings at the Daily Dose that you can't find at The Read Shop and vice versa, because otherwise, Daily Dose is just The Read Shop pt. 2. I always love ordering the Vanilla Honey Oat Latte - which is just sweet enough and uses oat milk substitute automatically. If I lived closer to the Westside Beltline, I would definitely stop by and grab a coffee and work here during the day! Daily Dose is a great addition to the Madison Yards.
google avatar

Cris G.

Yelp
Lovely coffee shop, friendly service and great decaf coffee options We had the breakfast sandwiches with sausage and they were filing!
google avatar

Anisa B.

Yelp
If your looking for a place to work from home or study, here's a cute spot! I love the area and the giant windows are great for people watching. I recommend bringing a charger because there were no outlets on the long middle table. Other than that, I highly recommend!
google avatar

Courtney M.

Yelp
I am absolutely obsessed with Daily Dose, and I'm not even much of a coffee drinker. However, I've been on a latte kick lately (blame them)! The Vanilla Honey Oat latte is absolutely amazing.... and addicting. I recently tried it with lavender added, as recommended by the barista. I think that might be my new go-to. Daily Dose is located in the new Madison Yards development on Bill Kennedy Way. It's right off the BeltLine, and there's free parking in the Publix garage.
google avatar

Katherine S.

Yelp
I needed a place to get work done and Daily Dose was so cozy! Great service, coffee, pastries, and wifi. I got there early over the weekend and didn't have trouble claiming a table. It got busy closer to 11am. Lots of people stop in for coffee as they're walking to/from the Beltline. They use Stumptown coffee beans here! Love that parking is free in the garage around the corner too! I'll probably be back to study during the school year.
google avatar

Lisa A.

Yelp
Visited this cute coffee shop for the first time. I ordered the iced coconut chai latte. I really enjoyed it! It was on the sweeter side but that's just how I like it. I also liked how the coconut flavor wasn't overpowering. The only issue was that the back power outlets don't work which make it a little harder to work remotely from here but other than that love this place
google avatar

Ashley G.

Yelp
The vanilla honey oat milk latte was really good!!! One of my top 3 coffee drinks in the Atl area! Ambience also very nice with natural lighting. The barista was really friendly and nice about some accommodations. Perfect for a Sunday morning coffee date!
google avatar

Brwnd B.

Yelp
Never too much coffee! Shout out to the barista. Great service and great drinks! We tried the caramel latte (w/ oat milk) and lavender matcha. Also, inside is vibes. Love the stationery and pins Follow us in IG, TikTok, & FB @BrwndButter
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here before, but got to try it again and both times the coffee here has been great! Their menu isn't super long which is helpful but the barista always does a great job. I love the books that they have and it is pretty, quiet, and relaxing.
google avatar

Stephanie G.

Yelp
If you're looking for a good coffee shop that also sells books and local-inspired goodies then this is the place for you. Located off of the beltline, it's a quaint place for an early morning coffee or mid-day caffeine break. They have limited seating due to COVID though. It's a plus that they close at 8 pm, pretty late for a coffee shop imo. I ordered a lavender latte with almond milk (costs around $6 as almond milk was an up charge). It wasn't too sweet and had the right amount of bitter notes. They also have truffles and pastries to consume.

Krysta R.

Yelp
I really wanted to like Daily Dose. However, the barista at the register was very impatient with me when I ordered a caramel vanilla latte. I wanted a scone and she'd already brought up the screen for me to pay on the kiosk before I could say anything more. I asked for the scone and she quickly added it. I paid and walked over to the pick up counter. She placed my scone down without even letting me know it's mine as someone else was ahead of me waiting. I asked the other barista if that was the chocolate scone and she confirmed it was. My latte was ready quickly, though. However, it was overly bitter. I know that stumptown is a strong espresso, but I couldn't taste the added flavors which I was disappointed by especially with the vanilla flavoring being a $1 extra . I won't be returning especially after paying $12.25. Hunt continues for another coffee shop as HP is closed.
google avatar

Meredith P.

Yelp
Love this place! Super cute! Very good hangout spot, lots of people work on their laptops here during the day. I always get the lavender latte, super good! Their chai is great too!
google avatar

Rachael L.

Yelp
super cute cafe! great music coffee is good and nice table seating for studying, with large windows to let in lots of natural light. free water and cups, and the person working is very kind and attentive.
google avatar

Ritika K.

Yelp
This is such a cute place and has great coffee. I'm more of a latte drinker, so I can not attest to their cold brews or just the plain coffees, but I ordered one of their specials: Blackberry Honey Latte (with lavender, iced, and whole milk). They have non dairy milk available for an extra charge. The latte was delicious and a unique flavor. I would order one of their specials if you're feeling adventurous. They bring in pastries from a local bakery. I ordered the sesame gruyere twist. It was good, but I wish they had offered to heat it up. Parking is free in the Publix garage by the building, or if you are walking this is a location off the Beltline. There is some space to work but if you want your own table/booth there are limited options. There is wifi and outlets available.
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
If you want a chill work environment, Daily Dose is the place. It is just the right amount of silent pressure to be productive. The added bonus is that the coffee is good and pastries are delightful.
google avatar

Katherine G.

Yelp
There's not really much I can complain about here. The place was super cute, super fast service and good coffee. Prices were average for a coffee shop. I would definitely recommend going here over Cold Brew Bar down the street - it was much faster, cheaper and had better coffee.
google avatar

Rebecca H.

Yelp
3.5! really cute & boujee atmosphere. super nice staff. menu is well laid out. i got the horchata which is one of the season specials. i will say i liked a different shop's horchata better, but it was still decent! the size felt small for a medium though. good place to get some work done but the music is a lil loud so just bring headphones if you want to focus more! they also have some seating outside. easy parking!
google avatar

Yelp
Talk about an ambiance that's absolutely perfect for a morning coffee run, a small breakfast or noon date, yea & chat or just a nice place to read a book while having a nice cup of tea or coffee. Did I mention that the ambiance is Stellar? This place is a must try.
google avatar

Jane Y.

Yelp
Wow the honey vanilla oat milk latte was amazing! Bought a friend a peanut butter truffle and he liked it. This place is probably one of the top faves of mine in terms of atmosphere lighting and decor! Can't wait to try other drinks here!

Yelp
I really, really wanted to love this place. Immediately when you walk in you are warmed by the smell of roasted beans and get the feeling of home in this busy city. It is the perfect spot to post up with your laptop and crank out a paper, catch up on emails, or watch your favorite Netflix show. If your a "big book" person, which is the name I give the oversized books you might find on a coffee table or bar top, then their wall of books will have you consumed for hours. Everything from food to drink to travel, I couldn't help but to open them all. It took everything in my not to buy multiple. All of this great stuff and then I get to the coffee. I ordered a nitro cold brew and my fiancé ordered a cold brew with almond milk. The nitro cold brew was slightly flat and just lacking that WOW factor that a great coffee has. It's almost like the flavors were muted in the coffee. My fiancé's came as a cup of oat milk with ice and a shot of espresso on top, which was tasty but not what she wanted. It came out more like a think milk shake than a cold brew. After these two drinks I had to go back and try one more so I ordered a "House Cold Brew" black. Similar to the nitro it was lacking flavor. I'm not sure if it was too watered down or maybe something was going on with their tap that day. Needless to say I will be back! Like I said, I really want to like this place. Next time I go I will be trying the hot coffee and hope that will be the redemption. Stay tuned for the follow up review!

Yelp
New coffee spot in downtown ATL, located just across from Muchacho. Pretty solid coffee made with Stumptown coffee. Pastries also from Alon's bakery so the food choices are pretty solid as well. Very clean, spacious and smells/looks like a new place. Friendly staff/barista. I loved my iced lavender latte with gruyere scone from Alon's. Parking is also free and spacious at the lot right behind, sharing with the Publix parking lot. (Big plus for downtown parking)

Sydney M.

Yelp
I visited this place for only one time on a Sunday morning in October while I was on a jog on the beltline. Pretty good choices especially during the fall time! The workers were also so nice because I got a pumpkin spice drink coffee.
