Service is routinely bad, all in preventable ways. I live nearby and have ordered pickup via the app a couple times a month since they opened (mostly breakfast sandwiches and the chicken milanese sandwich). The app always says it’ll be ready in 15 minutes, but that’s regularly completely wrong. Today I arrived 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, and stood inside waiting for 30 more minutes before it was actually ready.
This has happened a few times before, and each time it’s been a struggle to get an employee’s attention. There’s also nowhere to stand while waiting. The last two times this happened, when I finally got an employee to acknowledge me they said they hadn’t even started making the sandwich yet. Other times, the order was just sitting in the back because nobody had brought it up front.
The app should reflect actual wait times. I don’t know if management is trying to get away with a bare minimum staff, but employees typically seem to be overwhelmed by how busy it is.
All of the food I’ve tried has been good, though. The layout inside is frustrating, you probably won’t be able to find a seat inside or outside. The ordering line often blocks the main entrance, and there’s no room to stand while waiting.
