Daily Provisions - West Village

Daily Provisions is my latest obsession. I have been coming here probably 3 times a week since I first tried it. It's from the same chef, Danny Meyer, that started Shake Shack and Eleven Madison Park. The patty melt is heavenly with a solid crunch and wonderful flavor from the sautéed onions. I usually also go for the seared salmon w/brussel sprouts, or the tuna melt. I emailed them about nutrition information a week ago and have not received a reply unfortunately. I love the royal blue atmosphere as it makes it feel homey and cozy. However I have noticed this location seems to run on the cold side, so I would suggest them to turn the heat up a bit (have heard comments from other patrons regarding this). I wish they closed at 10, instead of 9. Would make it easier coming back from the gym so I wouldn't have to rush out if I wanted to have their wonderful salmon w/brussels for dinner. Make sure to ask for your order to stay, as I’ve noticed that at another location, they automatically set it to go, which ruins the whole dining experience and presentation

The sandwiches have completely diminished to a size you would pack for a small child’s school lunch. The tuna salad sandwich and grilled cheese used to be amazing….now, shockingly underwhelming, esp for $15. Do better or go to the corner bodega.

I visit daily provision when in town. Last visit we requested the breakfast sandwich without bacon , because am allergic to it, we got it with bacon and had to return it, other than that food and service and ok and hope they get the kouignn aman again.

That maple cruller is divine. Might be my favorite donut-like pastry in town even over the cronut. I saw a couple sitting there thinking I was going to get one of the stale ones but nope - they make them fresh I think. A must visit. The fall cruller was really good too - apple crumble - as was the spring cruller - blood orange

One of the best parts about this place is the Cruller of the Month—always an exciting new flavor to look forward to. I love this place. I went there for breakfast. I usually get the lovechild. On this day, I also got a maple cruller and raspberry cruller. This place never disappoints. The food is fresh and well made. The location is great, and you can sit down and eat your food, although it is small. The staff is friendly and very attentive.

yummy breakfast sandwiches but pretty expensive for the size, even for New York! Really enjoyed the everything bagel roll with cream cheese filling.

I love this spot for a quick breakfast on the way to work but almost every time I get a sandwich with egg, it comes completely soggy because they do not know how to cook eggs to temperature here and the sandwich is swimming in egg yolk. Even when I explicitly ask it seems as if the kitchen does what’s quickest for them. For a spot that relies heavily on to go orders there needs to be better food preparation and consideration

Daily Provisions served up a great breakfast. Their coffee was excellent, and the food was good too -- I had a seasonal cruller and it was full of fall flavors, with a crispy exterior and a warm, chewy center. Really well done. The breakfast sandwich was also solid, with mouth watering strips of bacon that put it over the top. The setup is a bit weird, and it's not the biggest space in terms of seating, but still a great spot for breakfast, even if that means taking it to go!

I tried the seasonal passionfruit crueller and it was the first time I tried this place with high expectations, and I've got to say I was NOT impressed. The flavoring was fine but the texture was pretty similar to any donut shop. I tried the maple crueller and the flavoring/texture were better, but the Doughnut Project's maple crueller still reigns supreme, but it's now closed! Chicken milanese sandwich was served hot and the chicken was on the juicier side. The sandwich was well put together and was filling.

Very cute and tasty casual spot for breakfast. Order at the front and find seats and they will bring the food to you. I got the sausage egg and cheese and the maple crueller. Loved both. My friend got the lumberjack which is the breakfast sandwich on the crueller so had to take a pic. The egg was perfectly runny in the sandwich and the donut was a nice treat.

I've loved so many of the baked goods here, so I decided to try one of their breakfast sandwiches. I decided on the Lovechild, which was bacon, fried eggs, and American cheese on an everything croissant. The bacon was pretty much inedible. No crisp to it, and it was tough and chewy. I was honestly worried if it was even cooked long enough, so ended up throwing it out. Croissant was amazing and I enjoyed my iced latte.

Yes their coffee is delicious. Yes their breakfast sandwiches are memorable & melty. Yes their crullers crush it. But I'm here for their sandwiches. It's a hidden gem on the menu. Their tomato soup and grilled cheese is just what's needed on a cold winter day. And their tuna melt (with avocado added) can't be beat. I believe their secret is the delicious bread. No deli has such high quality. Or perhaps it's the North Fork chips.

A busy coffee shop with decent breakfast sandwiches - while the sandwiches were good, my husband and I both decided we prefer a traditional bagel sandwich over the rolls at Daily Provisions after trying both the bacon and sausage options. The coffee was fine, but nothing to write home about. We also tried the Pumpkin Crueller and the regular Crueller. The regular tasted like a churro and the pumpkin was good, but would have benefitted from the same cinnamon-sugar coating. All in all, we'd visit elsewhere before returning due to the abundance of options in the area.

Tried the cruller, good but very sugary so if you're in the mood for that level of sweetness I recommend. Overall good spot and I'll be back but hopefully when less crowded. Jesus saturdays in this city...

The breakfast sandwich wasn't as good as in my memories - my egg wasn't runny (although I noticed my friend's was so maybe it's more just inconsistent) and they no longer have some of the more unusual breakfast sandwich options (e.g., veggie) - now it's just the basics of bacon and egg or sausage and egg. Also tbh I find the poppyseed topping a bit annoying because they get in your teeth. But matcha latte was excellent, it had actually strong matcha flavor with good foam (although it did have some clumps of matcha at the very bottom, but honestly I didn't mind since the rest of the drink was so good).

Stopped by Daily Provisions to try the cruller of the month! It was a passionfruit coconut flavor that was absolutely delicious! You can taste the passionfruit flavor which means they used real passionfruit and the coconut is a good add for texture. I'm heading back again today because I really enjoyed it. The Cruller is around $6 or so. It's not large but the flavor delivers if you like a donut/pastry. Service moved quickly and they have inside seating if you want to enjoy other items on their menu (including beverages and food).

Cold weather in NYC, nice decor and super warm inside to stay!! Open till 8pm, workers friendly, You can find a place to be seated!! Decor is similar to mcNutty Jackson cafe near seaport. I ordered chai, they gave me a cup and gave me nice environment. Water is free to fill out. Non judgmental vide. I highly recommend if you're in west village. Walking distance from W4st station. (Less than 10min)

The best traditional homestyle chicken salad in NYC ! It's zesty, moist and not chunky. Most chicken salads are cut up chicken breast with mayo which I'm not a fan off. DP's does there's right that it's more shredded. I also had the BEC. It was good but salty. So don't order salt and pepper with it. It came with some tangy red sauce on the side. Very nice ! I've been here on multiple occasions because I just really like their food. When I'm in the mood to indulge I'll get the lumberjack. Iykyk.. but if you don't I'll tell ya anyway. It's a BEC Sammy on a maple cruller. Terribly good. Indulgent. And good for occasions. The love child is also good but for me it was too much cream cheese in the everything croissant. The patty melt is very good as well and their chai tea is tasty, highly recommend. I want to try the Goldilox next time, but it's hard when I clearly gravitate to the breakfast side of things. Nevertheless, one day I'll branch out again. Crullers are so good on their own too and I like checking out the latest flavors each month. It's a chill spot in the west village when not too crowded and the staff is always kind. I will be going back and I recommend WV location bc so far it's my favorite I've visited.

Had my West Village moment. Stopped in with a few friends for an early dinner. Some menu items were gone by 6pm but plenty yet to choose from. I opted for avocado toast topped with salmon. Very satisfying, the bread was nice as well. Brussel sprouts to share, they were perfectly crisp on the outside with a drizzle of maple. Just like how my mom makes it. We enjoyed this, clearly as you can see, we could barely get a photo. The space inside is nice and allows for a few medium sized groups. Water is available on tap. The service was nice and attentive. There was a single person managing the front of house and bussing tables. She did a great job making sure we were cared for. I tried to tidy up to help out but she was on top of it.

Fresh, neighbourhood cafe. It's a welcoming environment to do work or catch up with a friend. I stopped here for the cruellers just after lunchtime, but it was sold out!!! Instead I tried the Bacon Egg Sausage and Avocado Toast (typical millennial). Both were flavourful, but I thought it was a bit too salty.

You know what the best cafes have? the VIBE. If you know, you know. Sure cafes can have some good coffee, but if they're the IT cafe, then they have the VIBE, and Daily Provisions has the vibe DOWN. I don't know why but there was something so calming about walking in here. It looks kind of upscale with the dark blue decor and the coffee bar looking like an actual bar, but that just added to the vibe. Even though there were a handful of people sitting inside, it was still quiet enough to do work or catch up with a friend. I ended up ordering an iced mocha, a sausage egg and cheese, and a maple cruller. Honestly the coffee wasn't my favorite I've had -- it tasted bitter to the point of sour to me. As a disclaimer, I'm not a coffee expert, but yeah it wasn't the best for my tastes. The FOOD on the other hand? Absolutely made up for it. I was saving my sausage egg and cheese for later, but I took a bite just to see how it tasted fresh and OOOH it was good. The bread was crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. They serve it inside a somewhat insulating bag, and I didn't realize until later that the egg had popped, so the yolk spilled out to the bottom of the bag but no leakage!! The maple cruller was the staff's favorite, and I can tell why. It's definitely sweet and dense, but it's packed with so much maple flavor and is literally the perfect donut dessert. I'll also say that they forgot about my iced mocha, but the cashier was nice enough to come over to me and ask if I was still waiting on something from my order. When I said the mocha, they made it immediately.

Went for a quick bite, Maple crullers were delightful. Bacon egg sandwich was really well prepared and tasty.

I like there breakfast sandwiches especially sausage, egg and cheese on a everything bagel service is fast and prices not bad.

Crullers, forever and always! I've been a huge fan of Daily Provisions from its first location in Union Square. On our last visit to NYC I was thrilled to find that they now have a location downtown on the West Side. So one day I went for a run from our hotel and intentionally made Daily Provisions my destination. Got crullers and took a Citi Bike back to the hotel. Love, love, love their crullers!!

The Daily Provisions West Village location is a packed neighborhood staple on the weekends. There's not enough waiting room space, especially with delivery persons and it can get chaotic as a lot of the food options take longer to prepare and people use it as a grab-and-go destination. The cafe/restaurant hybrid is a good setup for the range of options that Daily Provisions has to offer from its baked goods or fresh sandwiches as there is always something new I want to try that keeps me coming back. The drinks come out super fast from the bar area and my summer special, the strawberry matcha, came out within minutes. It is a deep color, definitely for matcha lovers as it doesn't have any milk to cut the flavor. Yet it wasn't the matcha part that didn't make this a stand-out drink, the strawberry swirls were clumped at the bottom and weren't as mixed in or abundant as I would've liked. Then I got a side of brussels sprouts. Maybe an unusual choice here but as soon as I saw them I knew that's what I wanted. It took a long time especially as multiple parties with sandwiches were coming out before mine. Someone asked me if I was waiting for anything and I said just a side of brussels and they went back to check on it. I really didn't mind but they came back and said because of the wait there was a double portion of brussels! This made me happy. They were well-seasoned and a little crispy. I felt like these two items didn't really encompass the restaurant and I didn't want it to fully make up my opinion of it. Not eating meat, I came back and opted for the chickpea and veggie sandwich and it was pretty good. It tasted homemade, fresh, and simple. While I have pretty positive takes of this restaurant I'm not sure if I've tried the five-star items. Coupled with the price point I can't really make this a "daily" routine for me

A Cozy and lovely coffee shop. Very close to the Film Forum and Washington Square. There are not many seats available, so consider standing and drinking coffee.

Charming Greenwich Village Breakfast. Delicious Avo Toast and Blood Orange Cruller. A delightful May morning!

Decided to stop by before work to grab something to snack on with my coffee. What I got: Passionfruit Coconut Cruller Cinnamon Cruller Both crullers were slightly crispy on the outside and airy and soft in the inside! Yummm! They were able to bring out that bright flavor passionfruit has and the touch of coconut pieces balanced it out- I enjoyed this! The cinnamon, however, was my favorite out of the two! Simple flavors just go well with a hot cup of coffee in my opinion.

I was pretty shocked to say I didn't find this coffee very good, and I'm not much of a coffee snob. I got a cappuccino and found it kind of tasteless and one note. The matcha latte was a lot better, but for the price a bit meh. The atmosphere and staff were awesome though. Overall I probably wouldn't go back for drinks, but maybe to try to food.

Stopped by here really quickly because my bf wanted to try a crueler! The staff was super friendly. We got the maple crueler. It was on the sweet side for me but would pair well with some coffee There were a few people with laptops working in there, seems like a quiet enough space to get some work done!

Absolutely amazing crullers! Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** We placed an online order for crullers but the time was off since our laptop hadn't adjusted for the time zone difference. When we arrived at the wrong time and the crullers weren't ready, we ended up having to wait over 30 minutes for a new batch to come out. However, the woman who seemed to be in charge was super kind and offered us tea or coffee while we waited. **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** Super cute interior! A lot of breads and baked goods are on display, and there's an adorae retro fridge with drinks and refrigerated goods inside. **Taste of the food, 5/5** WOW we had a cinnamon cruller and a passionfruit cruller, and both were fantastic. The cinnamon cruller tasted like a cross between a churro, a donut, and a croissant, and it was as delicious as it sounds. Perfectly sweet, crunchy, fluffy, and flakey. DELICIOUS. The passionfruit had an equally perfect texture but the glaze had phenomenal passionfruit flavor. I was really impressed they could capture the taste of passionfruit so well!

Same good stuff in a bigger space. It feels a lot more like a daytime cafe where you can plug in your laptop and work which is nice. I got the hummus and veggie sandwich and the seasonal pumpkin cruller. Everything was great.

The newest Daily Prov (3rd location) is finally open, a year or two later than scheduled. A great corner spot in the West Village across the street from Emily, this will be a go-to spot for coffee and breakfast, lunch and dinner in the neighborhood Right now they're just serving pastries and coffee as the gas still has not been turned on, which means you can still get those great crullers, cookies and more of the excellent baked goods.

I came here for breakfast and got the bacon egg and cheese. The thick cut bacon was tough and tasted like Beef Jerky, making it hard to eat. I would expect more than 1 egg on a $9 bacon egg and cheese sandwich Their poppy seed bun was perfect so there is definitely potential to re-craft their $9 breakfast sandwich into something that's worth it.

Cruller at @dailyprov was very chewy, yummy, and moderately sweet. I went close to the end of the day so I'm glad that they still had one left

Ok, what??? Came to NY from San Francisco on a red eye and couldn't have asked for a better meal to start off our trip. We ordered via DoorDash, though picking up in person also works. We got -- - Love Child: Bacon, egg, and cheese w/ cream cheese. Makes a BEC look taste like crap in comparison. Crunch from the bacon, umami from a runny egg, creaminess from the egg yolk on a soft croissant/bagel. - BEC: Bacon, egg, and cheese on everything bagel. Honestly, if I just ordered this and didn't get the love child this would have been the best. - Avocado toast: huge portion with lots of avocado and a runny egg. The fresno chilis on top really make it. - Crullers: Ordered the cinnamon and the maple. Maple won by far, but crispy, gooey, warm delicious donut. To top it all off, order some ice coffee with your milk/milk alternative of choice, and some fresh squeezed OJ. Can't beat it. Will be back here no doubt!

Super friendly staff! Stopped by for a coffee and treat after a brunch! We got a maple crueller, tasted like it sounds. It is your typical coffee shop, with people who are working on their laptops and people grabbing a bite! Nice perk is they have a clean bathroom

Cute little place with nice staff. My issue is that it took 30 minutes to make my breakfast sandwich when the projected wait was 15 min. That's a big difference. Apparently they were short staffed but when I asked a first and second time, I wasn't really given a clear answer. Sandwich was Luke warm in the end and not worth the wait. I did appreciate the kindness of the staff who tried their best to ensure I was happy while I waited

Barista was super friendly. We only got Coffee and Chai but the cookies looked delicious . Both drinks were very good. Nice and clean. Barista gave us some great recommendations of must do's in the area.

Such a sweet spot. The food is to die for- try the chocolate caramel or oatmeal cherry cookie. The first may be my favorite cookie in the city. The iced coffee is great too. The ambiance is great and it's a nice place to sit for breakfast or meet friends.

I live near this location and have been watching them build the inside for months. Peeking my head into the window to see the progress that they slowly made. On opening day I was insanely pumped to finally drink their coffee. I ordered a warm latte and was severely disappointed. The latte was foamy and bubbly when it was suppose to be smooth and velvety. However, I decided to go back a second time and was thrilled to find their iced latte to be absolute perfection. It was delicious and sweet. Especially paired with the unique cream cheese croissant. I highly recommend checking out this location when you're in the area. I'll be sure to be back and try the warm latte one more time!

Came for the famous Cruller and it didn't disappoint! Similar in taste to donuts but designed with twists in its dough. I like my sweets, but the maple cruller was too sweet for me though the texture was delicious. They also had a pumpkin spice cruller but it was covered in a glazed frosting which I felt would just get all over me. They stop selling crullers at 2pm. Inside the cafe was very hot. Even though the crullers are on the wall, you get one from the back which strangely takes awhile even though no other customers are in line. Plastic straws are available upon request.

One of my favorite cafes/coffee shops in the Lower Manhattan area. One of my favorites things on the menu is their sausage egg and cheese. Everything about it is on point. Friendly staff, chill vibe, decent amount of seating.

Finally Found a traditional Runny Yolk Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich at Daily Provisions West Village. Clean and fresh restaurant serving breakfast all day as well as meals, dessert and drinks. Wide range of selections but not overwhelming. Can be fast or sit and chat. Staff is genuinely friendly. Can't wait to return to try the patty melt on rye.

I usually occupy the role of noob, so it's a big deal for me to find a new place that just opened up last month. Their staff was friendly and added a personal touch that you don't get in a lot of Manhattan. They have good cold brew and they are located a block from the houston 1 station.

I entered on August 23rd between 19:15 & 19:20. For many weeks I enter this branch at that time to have an espresso & sit for 10 min at most, before continuing on my way. It seems new faces, recently, are eager to shut the the location earlier than posted. It is the second time I was told that they're already done-with and cleaning the machine, therefore I can't get my beverage. More than 40 min before closing? It's wrong. It's not as advertised outside. It's too early to give such a 'we're out of here' vibe. 30 min to closing would be as wrong. Please correct new young employees, or cut short by 45 min the time posted on the door. It feels rude.

Did not have a photo of my bacon egg and cheese because i scarfed it down too fast and by the time i realized, it was in no condition to be photographed. Toasted on the outside, fluffy on the inside poppy seed bun only slightly runny egg so it doesn't get everywhere gooey cheese (just the right amount) thick cut, smoky (but not too overpowering) bacon great staple if not slightly pricier than your neighborhood BEC but well worth the elevated ingredients and comforting vibe of this place! Only disappointment was I arrived around 11am on a Saturday and they were out of crullers already!

Dope place with great drinks, food and ambience. The service was exceptional and the vibe was cohesive and very chill. I'll definitely be back to this establishment.

cutest coffee and breakfast spot! The sandwiches are unbeatable, and the crullers are such a fun treat. And their rewards system is a great option if you live close by. It's always busy inside so would recommend ordering ahead, but the ambiance and decor inside makes it a cute place to sit if there's space! Coffee is solid, but I would stay away from the matcha. It's not very good.

Most talk about breakfast (served all day!), coffee, and their beautiful selection of baked goods but this place has some tasty dinner specials as well. Fresh salads, veggie sides, salmon, & their deliciously moist roast chicken are always on the menu. Great sauces too. The continental & hot sauce are both faves. Always fresh and quickly served. A fantastic addition to the neighborhood by the team that brought the city the Union Square Cafe.

Rude unfriendly girl working at the front. I asked for a latte and she ordered the largest without asking what size I wanted. I also said regular latte three times.
