Craft cocktails, elevated small plates, and skyline views

"Daintree is a very cute rooftop lounge that gets just full enough to give the bar some life, but not so full that it's impossible get a walk-in spot on one of their pink couches. You should make a reservation if you have a bigger group or want to be absolutely sure you won’t have to wait—but you probably won’t have to wait more than 10 minutes even if you don't. Either way, they don’t do lines. The only thing to keep in mind is that the outdoor terrace is small, so you’ll likely be sipping your martini and looking out at the Empire State building from the inside during peak hours." - neha talreja
"Located at 25 W 38th Street, the Daintree Rooftop & Lounge pairs vibrant pops of color and lush plant life with a gorgeous skyline backdrop; I go for wine or beer but also appreciate inventive cocktails like the Umami Old Fashioned, made with Diplomatico Reserva, Whistlepig 6yr rye, applejack, orgeat, and miso-saline." - Stacey Leasca
"Daintree is a very cute rooftop lounge that we wish had more rooftop. While you get an impressive view, you’ll probably have to enjoy it through a glass wall. The terrace is a bit small and shabby (and off to the side), and it feels like your rooftop at home if you happened to live across from the Empire State building. But we’d still choose this roof over many others in the area for the martini menu and excellent small plates like the focaccia with whipped ricotta and crispy halloumi laffa." - Neha Talreja
"A rooftop cocktail bar and lounge by Parched Hospitality sits atop Hotel Hendricks with 180 indoor seats and space for 70 more on an outdoor terrace, offering a sky-high cocktail experience." - Emma Orlow
