Google
Fantastic Thai restaurant that offers authentic flavors and incredible value. The food is very delicious and I was quite surprised by how large the portions were given the price. They are not stingy with the meat nor the vegetables and the flavor is perfect. I have gotten delivery from here before but dining in is way better. The interior is a bit small so seating is limited, but well worth it and the staff are very friendly.

Google
Great food, always hits the spot. I've had everything on the menu over the years and it's all really good. This is our usual order when we're feeling like Thai food in the Pasadena area. You can't go wrong with their curries, noodles, veggie dishes, it's all awesome.

Google
Annual update and still incredible!!! 10/10 An absolute favourite of mine when I am home. They can do no wrong with anything on the menu. But my favourite is the yellow chicken curry as it is heaven on earth. They also owned “Apricot” a Thai/French fusion place also Pasadena that closed years ago, this same dish was served there and blew my socks off then as it does now. I love Daisy Mint it’s my all time favourite Pasadena restaurant and where I go as often as I can when I’m in town. Recommendations: Pad Thai is 10:10, Salads are 10/10 and the Thai tea is 😍😍😍😍😍

Google
One of my Fav spots for Thai Food in Pasadena. It's a smaller restaurant, so I've only gotten to-go orders, but the interior is quaint. The service is fast and friendly and the food is delicious 😋. Thank you!

Had a wonderful early dinner with a friend here. Tried the coconut shrimp ramen and got the Drunken noodles with beef to go for my husband. Both were delicious!! I also tried the Thai Green milky tea and really enjoyed it!

Google
Daisy Mint is always a hit! Lots of very good thai options on the menu. Very flavorful and balanced curries, wonderful noodle dishes, and awesome meats (the honey pork is the best). Staff is always friendly, prices are reasonable (especially for lunch specials), and the environment is cozy but not cramped Parking is difficult sometimes.

Google
The pad see ew was a solid dish—smoky, flavorful, and well-executed. The pad Thai was pretty standard—not bad, but nothing special. The papaya salad was disappointing, lacking depth and the bold flavors it should have. On the bright side, the Vietnamese coffee was excellent—strong, rich, and exactly how it should be. Overall, a decent spot, but I’d stick to the stir-fried noodle dishes and the coffee.

Google
Was looking for a place that reminded me of my favorite Thai food back at home, and this place brought me back in time! The food was delicious and you could never go wrong with Thai Tea on the side :) ! Menu is reasonably priced. The staff were so kind, accommodating, and lovely 💕 Even remembered me and my order when I came back the next day. I think this would be my favorite place to go to during lunch breaks. :))

Yelp
Deeeeeeelicious I tell you! Came and ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and beef and a Thai iced tea! FLAVORRR! The service was immaculate efficient and fast. 10/10

Yelp
This place is good, solid Asian fusion. It has elements of Thai, Vietnamese and even some Chinese influences, it seems. The curries are solid. I island get green or panang curry with eggplant or similar is my preference. The shaking beef salad is also very good and I do not eat much beef, to be honest. They often have pumpkin (or kabocha squash, if you will) curry, which is really tasty. Service is usually fine, not usually super friendly but typically efficient. The place itself is really cute and looks like a little tea house with fun furniture and delicate tea cups for the good quality loose leaf teas they have. I would recommend this place. It's moderately priced.

Yelp
Drunken noodles are perfect. There's time where the noodles are either clumpy, thick, or too saucy.. these noodles are just right. The food has a char broiled taste that take these noodles to the next level. I think I am in love.

Yelp
food is amazing, service is amazing, the interior is decorated so nicely! lots of cute flowers and trinkets and a very welcoming warm vibe. lots of menu options and you get a pretty decent portion size. their pad thai is one of my favorites i've had in a while and the thai fried rice is perfectly flavorful! i will be coming back here!

Yelp
I've been here twice now for lunch and I love this little spot! I was a bit hesitant the first time I came around because of its name lol but the food did not disappoint. I love me a good lunch special menu and there are so many options here! In fact, the waiter moved my friend and I to a bigger table after we ordered 4 dishes between the both of us lol! My favorite of all time is the pad see ew of course! It is very well done and flavorful. The spring rolls caught me off guard bc it was literally only vegetables inside (no noodles, meat, etc.) LOL and the crab wonton was COLD inside which I wasn't prepared for either (used to warm crab rangoon). I did really like the sauce they provided for the crab wontons though. My friend really liked her honey pork lunch special! I also ordered a Thai tea and it's the real thing! So good and not overly sweet. A great place to eat at if you ever want Thai food in the area. You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Wow, I haven't been back to Daisy Mint since college and I forgot how good this place was. My friends and I decided to grab lunch on Saturday right when it opened so we seated immediately. We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew and papaya salad. The pad thai and pad see ew were ordered from the lunch special menu. I was surprised to see a lunch special on a weekend. The portion of the pad thai and pad see ew were pretty generous. Everything that we order tasted really flavorful and was tasty. My favorite was the pad thai because it has a sweetness to it but it might be too sweet for others. Service is quick and friendly. The décor of the restaurant is very cute and antique looking. There's a parking lot in the back of the restaurant and also street parking as well.

Yelp
Great Thai place with most of your traditional Thai favorites dishes like Tom Yum, Pad Thai, curries, etc but so much more with their duck noodles, salmons and different appetizers like prata with curry. Lunch specials too. Super friendly service and good prices. Parking in back and on the street. Nice cozy atmosphere.

Yelp
Daisy Mint is a hidden gem that serves up authentic Thai cuisine with a side of warm hospitality. Led by a passionate woman, is a must-visit for anyone craving the bold flavors and aromas of Southeast Asia. The menu boasts an array of dishes that showcase the chef's attention to detail and commitment to using only the freshest ingredients. Standouts include the rich and creamy yellow curry, slow-cooked to perfection with tender chicken, and the savory drunken noodles, expertly balanced with a depth of flavor that will leave you wanting more. But what truly sets Daisy Mint apart is its dedication to serving authentic Thai specialties, like the elusive curry puff. Crispy, flaky, and bursting with aromatic curry goodness, this delicacy is a rare find in Thai restaurants - and Daisy Mint executes it flawlessly. I tried something different during my time with Daisy Mint- the Thai Green Ice Tea, made from Pandan leaves. WOW! Move over Thai ice tea. With its warm service, generous portions, adorable decor, and commitment to authenticity, Daisy Mint is a culinary destination. Thank me later!

Yelp
Updating my review to give 5 stars. I've returned to Daisy Mint quite a few times and everything has been excellent. Their green curry is a must for me. The pad Thai is perfectly tangy, sweet & acidic. Pineapple fried rice is delicious too. And the crab rangoons!! Wonderful. Between the honey pork and waterfall pork, I think I prefer the waterfall. They've never messed up a take out order. Bonus is that the restaurant is super cute. Perfect date lunch.

Yelp
This is a very good Thai restaurant in East Pasadena. I came back in 2016 and was rushed through my meal because they close so early. I never came back because it seemed a little rude at the time. I came again and found the food is actually delightful. Service was much friendlier than I remembered. However, the fact is they close early, and if you want to relax and enjoy your meal unrushed, do not come in the last hour of service. Last call is 3 minutes prior to their closing, and they clearly want to get out of there. I understand, but just don't come in the last hour and expect to leisurely enjoy your meal. It's a very tiny restaurant but with a nice, hip decor. Parking can be a little tricky, but we managed to find something. The food itself is high quality and quite good all around. We had the chicken pad see ew, which was terrific. The crying tiger was also excellent, with delicious flavor and good quality beef. The Thai BBQ chicken is a standout. Many places make it with goopy wet sauce on top. This place makes it exactly how we like it. More of a marinade that is then grilled to a dry, crispy exterior. It's really great. The cashew nut chicken was also excellent. Usually, at other places, this isn't spicy, but they do it spicy here, and I like it a lot. The only misfire of the night was the spicy fried rice. Not only was it not spicy at all, but it was outright bland. Not good. Basically, come for an early dinner, but definitely come and try out this place. It's some good eating. Check it out!

Yelp
My favorite Thai spot in Pasadena! It's a hidden gem and you might not even notice if you pass by it. Get the Tom Kha soup and pad see ew, you won't be disappointed. Service is always excellent. I'd even recommend this for a low key date night

Yelp
Daisy Mint has stood the test of time. My last review was 9yrs ago and I've increased my star rating on this visit. The duck rolls, Daisy wings pretty much everything on the menu are hits. My least favorite item is the lunch special salmon. Good but not my favorite.

Yelp
Always amazing food from daisy mint. Take out and dining in are both great options. One of the best!

Yelp
I've come to Daisy Mint many times and this review is long overdue. They're pretty authentic thai food and they're allergen friendly. Please do ask them for any gluten free as some dishes that are not marked "gluten free", might be able to be modified. Pad thai is always a good idea and theirs is definitely one to try. Their tom kha (coconut soup) is very delicious, savory and will fulfill your cravings in a cold weather. Salmon curry - very good. It comes with your choice of white or brown rice. Very savory and fulfill your omega with this :) They used to have "Daisy Chicken Wings" which no longer in the menu. It was gluten free and sweet and spicy. Wish they bring that to the menu again. They have parking in the back and street parking. They just recently renovated their back patio. It looks very nice.

Yelp
We had not been to Daisy Mint in probably close to 10 years. Since that time we moved from being vegetarian to vegan. I was happy to find that they easily adjust food and drink items to be vegan and were knowledgeable on which items contained fish sauce and really couldn't be adjusted. We ordered the peanut dumpling appetizer which is STILL delicious after all these years, fried rice, and a thai iced tea. Service was prompt and friendly.

Yelp
Ordered online for delivery. Ordered Pad Thai, Panang Curry with Shrimp, Beef with Spinach and Garlic Green Beans with chicken. For apps, got the eggrolls and Daisy curry puff. I was looking forward to the curry puff but a little bland but good texture. Pad thai and green beans were both good. The standout was the Panang, great flavor and has kabocha already added.

Yelp
Wowwwww, I can't believe how good this Thai restaurant is. Everything we got from the coconut ramen, to stir fried vegetables, to pad see yew, to the pumpkin curry were so darn amazing. The service is the best I've experienced. The whole ambiance feels so clean, refreshing, and good vibey. I can't wait to come back again. Amazing absolutely amazing

Yelp
Got some for take out! You can call in, use DoorDash or their internal square site for pickup. There are lunch specials 11:30a-2:45a but their site won't accept lunch specials before 12p. Fortunately the staff was able to accommodate over the phone. The entrees are a good size. We got birds nest, daisy noodle, and Penang pumpkin curry with rice/salad. All are tasty and generous with proteins for the price. We parked on the street just read the signs.

Yelp
Below Average Thai Food I visited Daisy Mint with 3 friends and was unfortunately disappointed with the food. While the wait staff was very friendly and attentive, the food itself was just average at best. Here's what we ate. * Chicken Satay: The chicken was dry and overcooked, and the peanut sauce lacked flavor. The portion size was quite large * Cream Cheese Wontons: Pretty standard fair * Thai Ice Tea: Average * Thai Beef and Sticky Rice: The Thai beef and sticky rice was the best of the entrees. If I only ordered this they would have got a better review from me * Chicken Pad See Ew: The noodles were OK. The sauce was bland * Pineapple Fried Rice: This dish was OK. Average * Yellow Curry: The curry was average at best. A wee bit spicy I wouldn't recommend Daisy Mint. The food is just average and flavorless. You can definitely find better Thai food in Pasadena for less money at Kwan's Kitchen.

Yelp
Visiting Pasadena for MonsterPalooza and I ate here. I love Pad Thai and this place hit the spot. It's nicely decorated and cute. I highly recommend the Thai iced tea and Kimchi Fried Rice. It left me full and satisfied. The staff were friendly and admirable
google avatar

Yelp
Ok, so admittedly I've only ever been here twice and this review is solely for the duck noodle soup. It is my favorite Thai dish in Pasadena and unique to anything I've ever had at a Thai restaurant. I will come back again and again just for that dish though. Calling in an order is always quick and easy. It's got a fun vibe inside though and I wouldn't mind sitting down and eating sometime.

B K.

Yelp
This was the absolute worst Thai food I have ever had. Ordered two entrees and one soup. I hesitate to give negative reviews but the food was inedible. The only thing my husband and I were able to eat was some of the plain brown rice. So disappointing especially since this restaurant gets many good review.
google avatar

Yelp
Yummm. One word to describe this place. It's small and intimate inside and the service is nice. The waitress sat us immediately and she checked in on us a few times. They forgot our protein in one of the dishes and the chef provided a nice bowl of chicken on the side. Drunken noodles are typically spicy, but this one lacked spice. I think it has great flavor though, so I still recommend it. Although just make sure to add the whole chili powder container on the side! I loooooveeee papaya salad and this one had extra lime. I think I'm just so used to spice that I asked for Thai chilies on the side to add to the papaya salad. It leveled up the dish for me, give it a shot! I appreciate that they cut up the lettuce on the side instead of leaving it whole like other places. I liked the daisy noodles, but I wouldn't order it again. I think the flavor was good, but not something I'd crave again. It's an interesting dish though! Next time I def want to try their yellow curry and mango sticky rice (unfortunately it's not mango season)! It was about $50 for three items and we had some leftovers, so I think it was worth it. I'll be back again when I have Thai cravings!

Yelp
First time here and first time in Pasadena! Came here on Friday around 7 and found the spot and area to be not too busy (if not a little too quiet for a Friday night). Sat down and ordered the Pad Tai with Chicken and Kimchi Fried Rice with Beef. Both came out hot and was more than enough for two people. Good flavor and the meat was not over cooked while the noodles and rice were also prepared well. Although the ambiance of the place was quaint, their drink options are pretty limited in terms of beer and wine. As well, they close early for a Friday night (8:30) and seemed to be in a rush to get customers--including me and my company--out by 8:30. Even though letting us know that they close soon and offering last call on food (around 8:00), when I attempted to order a beer (while still finishing one), they noted that they would bring it after I finished (I had less than half a glass left). Upon finishing my beer around 8:10 the waitress attempted to convince me to not order the beer or to take it to go. The fact is they should not have taken my order for a beer to begin with at around 8:00 if they were not going to allow me to drink it in the restaurant. Again, this appeared to be more due to them wanting to close at 8:30 and not due to any concerns around serving me another drink as I had had the beer with my meal and such without causing an issue to them. Thus, if you do decide to arrive here do so with plenty of time as longer stays that brush up against closing time may not be ideal. Again, not speaking badly as I know folks have homes and families they want to get to, but do not offer another food dish or drink if not willing to honor such. For just that reason, I give it a 4/5 stars.
google avatar

Daniel L.

Yelp
The specialty soups like Tom Ka Ki or Tom Yum are tasty & delicious! My favorite is their peanut sauce in stir-fried spinach with your choice of chicken, pork, or beef. The Daisy Salmon is beyond words! If you have a lighter appetite, the Daisy Noodles salad is delicious!
google avatar

Misa O.

Yelp
Ambiance, service, and food were all super solid. Was it the best Pad Thai I've ever had? No. It was a bit too sweet for my liking. But it satisfied my craving, and the workers were all super kind and accommodating.
google avatar

Melissa X.

Yelp
I have always had an amazing experience here. I've had take out and dine in. It's such a cute spot with adorable decor. The service is always great, they always have a smile and are so kind. The food is always top notch. Our go to order is Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Crying Tiger and the Tom Kha (coconut curry). It never disappoints. Support this small business!

Erica Y.

Yelp
Such a hidden gem! We got the roti & curry, chicken satay and daisy noodles. Lunch special so the entire meal came out to be $35. Amazingly, ridiculously affordable for the area, huge portions, fresh ingredients. The daisy noodles had a wonderful flavor profile, and the roti & curry reminded me of authentic Singaporean hawker food from when I was growing up. Curry and seasoning tends to be on the sweeter side, but delicious and highly recommend. Service was fast and delightfully hospitable. Ladies were very kind, and while the layout was small and seating may be a bit limited, the ambiance was very pleasant and chic for an afternoon out. I cannot emphasize enough the quality of the ingredients and portions for the price point ! I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Really nice food, good service, quick, reasonable price. No complaints! Will come back again

Yelp
One of my favorite go to for Thai food in Pasadena. They are consistently good. The quality, the aromatics spices, the flavor -- it's addicting. The best part is that their ingredients are fresh! My favorite dish of all time is the Panang Curry. It's a great vegetarian dish. There's large chunks of fresh veggies and pumpkin. Drizzle the sauce over rice and it's the perfect comfort food. I've also enjoyed their Pad See Ew, Duck Noodle Soup, and Beef Salad. If you're looking for a healthy but tasty salad, definitely recommend their beef salad. I love the decor of this quaint little restaurant. It's cute, perfect for a date. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be tricky, street parking is your best bet unless you're lucky enough to find a spot in the back. Bon appetit yelpers!
google avatar

Doris J.

Yelp
The food is really delicious. A combo of sweet, Savory, fragrant flavors. We went there for dinner on a Saturday night around 8pm. We ordered papaya salad, chicken yellow curry, shrimp green curry. It came with 2 bowls of brown rice. In addition, I ordered a Tom yum shrimp soup and peanut dumplings. I think I love sour soups and I believe Tom yum was the one that I won't forget!
google avatar

Lauren K.

Yelp
Busy little place on Colorado Avenue. Pasadena is not short on Thai places. This is one of the many and pretty good. It's incredibly popular for take away. So, consider doing such. Though the service is good inside and you can easily snag a table in the window. I had the pad Thai and was happy for $14. While not the best I've ever had, it was good and the price was adequate. My dining partner had the BBQ chicken and was happy with it. Our order came out very quickly. I'd like to go back and really try some other dishes. I suspect there are some that are the reason you go given how busy it was for take away. See website and their social media for hours, location, and more. Parking on street. Open for lunch with specials and dinner.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
I loved it here!!! Food was so flavorful. Boyfriend didn't love the Chinese broccoli in the pad see ew and I wish they didn't use cauliflower in the veggie mix (I did not get meat or tofu) but flavors were so good. This spot is a little gem on East Colorado and super cute inside. Staff were friendly too. So sad they were out of mango sticky rice during our visit but we will be back!

Helen K.

Yelp
The service is good and the food is good. I got the duck noodle soup. The rice noodles were of good consistency what I consider al dente. My preference is that I would like more cilantro. I think it would create more depth to be behind the flavor of the soup.
google avatar

Batzmaru B.

Yelp
Cute name and restaurant, place is small but the food is amazing and delicious. Excellent dishes, the noodles are cooked perfectly, you can taste the "wok hay". No wonder there are many ppl picking up food to go, and it's not just one or two dishes to go. The services were excellent too, the staff kept checking on us. Will definitely be coming back.
google avatar

Lejla I.

Yelp
Wow, amazing food and beautiful restaurant. Service is also good, they are very kind and friendly! Food was so delicious, I had stir fry with cashews and chicken, so so tasty. Thai tea is delicious! Such a gem!!!
google avatar

Beverly S.

Yelp
Pad Thai was dry & not particularly flavorful. Green beans with tofu & garlic was good. In house dining is usually better.

Mariela V.

Yelp
Love this place! Everything here is delicious and the staff is so friendly. My favorite dish is the yellow curry!

Cheyenne S.

Yelp
I stopped by after a long drive from Valencia on a Saturday. The place was small and cozy. The service was efficient and professional. Waiters ensured our water cups were filled and did light table touches. I ordered the green curry with chicken, the drunken noodles with beef, and some sides of rice. The curry was well seasoned, good consistency, not watery, and had some of the freshest, crispest vegetables. The chicken was just ok, it relied on the curry and vegetables and just served as a protein in the dish. The drunken noodles with beef is great. I typically expect very low quality & unseasoned meat, but this one blew my mind. The beef was tender, perfectly seasoned, and went well with the drunken noodles veggies and spice. Oh yes, I ordered the noodles spicy and they definitely packed the heat. The drunken noodles also had some fresh, crispy vegetables which really satisfied my palate. Typically with curries, you may expect wilted, soft veggies, so just be mindful of this if you have an elderly person or you yourself cannot tolerate crispy, crunchy veggies. I would return to this spot again!

Yelp
Updating to 5-stars because no matter what, this is the best Thai in town. I am placing an order for pick up as I type this. :)
google avatar

Annie N.

Yelp
I found Daisy Mint on DoorDash first, then I ate there in person. Their small restaurant feels like a hipster spot full of Pothos plants and Monsteras. It's cozy and intimate. The yellow curry is great, as is the steak salad. The waitress was very kind and food service was prompt. Crab rangoons were pretty good! Prices are a little steep but nothing you're not already paying for most Thai.

Al S.

Yelp
Food was wonderful as always. Everyone in the family loves this restaurant. Service was so so good! Daisy Mint will be a go to restaurant for all in our family!
google avatar

Katherine O.

Yelp
Great food! Fun atmosphere, helpful waitresses, did I mention GREAT FOOD!? Great food. Tried Thai tea ((for the first time!!!!)) with the sea salt cream and wow!! Delicious, I see why it's a "must try" :)
google avatar

Riley S.

Yelp
Consensus: Daisy Mint is my new favorite thai food restaurant in the 626 area! I was struggling to find something delicious and well priced, and I found both of those here! ______________________________________ Food: The food is spectacular, I would highly recommend the pad see ew with beef and the Daisy noodles! The pad see ew here uses really good quality beef that is just filled with flavor and the Daisy noodles are a super tasty specialty dish for the restaurant where they use the same thin noodles in pad thai and cover is with red curry, crispy onions, and egg! I also got the pad thai, red curry, spicy fried rice, and a thai tea, all of which were incredible! ______________________________________ Service: The service is always really good here, its a small restaurant so its easy for the servers to see you and help you out and be attentive! The servers are also very nice and helpful in making recommendations and just overall provide great service! ______________________________________ Ambience: I love the interior of the restaurant, its like a cute cafe on the inside with a lot of cool decorations and greenery! Not much else to say, but it's just a cool environment to be eating in, especially during lunch when its bright inside!

Susanna K.

Yelp
I love love love Daisy Mint. Everything that they serve is absolutely delicious. And their service is fantastic. It's always my go-to Thai place.
google avatar

Raymond T.

Yelp
Daisy Mint is a very solid option for thai cravings! The daisy noodles were good. Personally I think I might just get curry and rice next time. I like being able to balance how much curry I take in with every bite. Be sure to add in some protein as this dish normally doesn't come with one. We also got the papaya salad and that was good! I hope they'll consider adding some Thai chilies in there for some heat. If you love lime, this is for you. The drunken noodles had good wok flavor but wasn't spicy without the chili flakes on the side. Overall, I'd come back if I had cravings. Would recommend!

Yelp
Excellent food, great staff and vibe. A busy place for good reason. We were in a motel close by for a few days during some home improvements. Liked it so much we did take-out twice. The string beans were the best I've ever had. Even my husband's often dull cashew chicken was noteworthy. All cooked fresh and fast. 100% recommended. We'll collect ourselves or have delivery now we're back in our space not that far up the road. Maybe tonight!

Tiffany B.

Yelp
Excellent! Been going here for 10+ years and quality remains exceptional. Best Thai in Pasadena!
