"Dak’s Korean chicken wings arrive steaming hot and bathed in soy garlic or spicy-sweet red pepper sauces. Orders also include a side of house-made pickled radish. Though chicken wings are the house specialty, Dak also serves bulgogi, spicy barbecue pork, and dukbokki (rice cakes covered in Korean red pepper sauce and topped with bulgogi)." - aimee.levitt, Eater Staff

"Granville Red Line This counter-service Korean spot is very close to the Granville stop in Edgewater, and has some of our favorite chicken wings in Chicago. There are other dishes here, like bibimbap and bulgogi, and they’re perfectly fine - but the jumbo wings are what you want. They’re huge, perfectly crispy, and served with a tasty ginger glaze that never makes them soggy. Overall, this place is perfect if you need to grab a bite on your way home from work (getting groceries at Whole Foods will put you outside for an entire extra minute, which, in January, is unacceptable)." - adrian kane

I got some wings with the dak sauce which were good bits not outstanding. Compared to other wings I have tried, I definitely think they are competitive in terms of size, flavor, originality, and quality. I was super full after eating three wings and their kimchi (which was delicious).

It's so interesting! I've never been to a restaurant like it before. The chicken wings are HUGE! They're the actual whole wing. The sauces are flavorful and the bowls are full of vegetables. Nothing tastes greasy or frozen. Would recommend!

The fried jumbo chicken wings is just amazing, crispy outside, juicy inside. I chose the Dak glaze, with soy sauce, honey and ginger. So good!

It was amazing! Me and my friends got a Bibimbap and a Dukbokki, the flavors where amazing we loved it. The service was really good too, will definitely come again.

Biggest wings we've ever seen! They were crispy and not drenched in soggy sauce but covered with the perfect amount. The spicy chicken rice bowl and bulgogi rice bowl were excellent too! Lots of veggies and a side of red pepper sauce that's addicting. My husband did have a bulgogi as an entree and wasn't impressed with the portions and lack of veggies but in Daks defense, it never said it came with veggies or additional foods, only rice and steak. Go with rice bowls!

Super great place right off the L stop. The best Korean fried chicken in the city! The wings are full wings (drumette, wingette, and tip) , so you get a lot for the price. They only sell a limited amount of wings per day, so don't get there too late! Also highly recommend the dukbokki...the rice cakes are super chewy and come with a great sauce!

Dak wings are huge and delicious but folks, the beef Dukbokki are to die for. Can't wait to go back!

The best thing to come from online dating so far. Phenomenal wings and rice bowls. Get the waffle fries to soak up the extra wing sauce too!
