The Best Things Infatuation Seattle Writers Ate In June - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Normally, we’d have some choice words for anyone who has the audacity to slice a pork cutlet before putting it on a sandwich. But at Hushy’s, it just works. Slivers of fatty-melty milanese wrapped in crunchy breadcrumbs are assets between focaccia halves, and a funky-creamy kimchi slaw cuts all that grease like a delicious karate chop. In a city that’s teeming with Italian stuff loaded on focaccia, this one breaks through the noise." - gabe guarente, aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo

The service was great. We met our daughter for dinner here. We had a reservation and it was not busy yet when we arrived (around 7pm), but got really busy quickly. We wanted to try a few different dishes. We ordered Osso Bucco with Risotto Milanese, Beef Cheeks with Polenta, Grilled Octopus and some pasta. Pasta was good, osso bucco was OK, but not great. It lacked that oomph. We make osso bucco with parsley gremolatta and this one was missing that extra something. Beef cheeks was really good. Octopus was really dry, but not yet chewy, so I think it was a little better than ok. For dessert we had a zabbaione with amaretto (but there was almost no amaretto) and colomba with cream and it was good. We will be back to try other dishes. Service was really good and quick. I would invite people over there again.

One of the best meals we had on our trip across Northern Italy. Incredible Ossobuco. Nice service, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

After traveling, we were starving and looked for a place to eat, which the hotel suggested we visit. The atmosphere and location are very captivating. The food was delicious and sufficient. Congratulations to the chef. The staff was kind and helpful, although we arrived shortly before the siesta. Overall we were delighted, we will definitely be back here again. So would recommend the place to everyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

On the pricey side (especially antipasti), but the flavor of food is good (I ate the cutlet, while my partner the beef cheek). The bread basket was to die. The layout is a bit tight and loud when busy. Recommended for a date night, but for groups I'm unsure how effective.

Absolute must visit spot in Milano. The atmosphere upon entering is comfy, stylish and inviting. The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. If your Italian isn’t good they automatically switch to English to help out. The food was absolutely incredible, must tries are the meatballs, paccheri and of course the massive cotoletta alla milanesa! The wine recommendations are always spot on and all in all, it’s an experience that shouldn’t be missed when visiting Milano. Can’t wait to go back again!

tried this spot the first day I was in Milan got in super late and was craving pasta, of course. It was just around the corner from where I was staying and had a great vibe to it. I was served promptly the pasta was fantastic. The table wine was good, overall a great experience. Pricing is fair. Will go again.
