The place has a fun atmosphere, especially with all the Halloween decorations. The food and service were both okay — just as expected from a busy Times Square restaurant. Fried chicken, steak, and burgers were decent and portions were generous. A solid spot if you’re in the area and want a casual meal in a lively setting.

We had the pleasure of dining at Dallas BBQ three times during our stay in New York. Twice in the restaurant and once with takeout, and every experience was fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions that are perfect for sharing or satisfying a big appetite. I especially enjoyed the Frozen Margaritas, which were consistently excellent whether enjoyed in the restaurant or taken to go. Our kids ordered the hot dogs twice and were always pleasantly surprised by their impressive size and taste. The salads were another highlight, large, fresh, and full of flavor, making them a great option for a lighter yet satisfying meal. Overall, Dallas BBQ delivered a consistently great experience with tasty food, fun drinks, and generous portions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a lively and satisfying meal in NYC!

Eating in this place is awesome. In my experience, the food and the service never have let me down. Prices very nice and affordable specially considering this place is located in NY city!!! The drinks are very nice and not expensive at all. If you want to relax and have a nice time after touring the city this place is highly recommended. However, I would recommend that you can call and make a reservation before you go just to make sure because there are days where to place is full and it is better be safe than sorry 😌.

We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and, unfortunately, had one of the worst dining experiences ever. Our waiter was cold, antisocial, and kept forgetting about our table. We constantly had to remind him about our drinks and orders. One of my friends had two drinks, and when we asked for another, the waiter told us there was a “limit of two drinks per person.” I’ve never heard of that in any restaurant, but we agreed and didn’t argue. What made it worse was seeing other tables being served multiple drinks with no issue. It felt unfair and discriminatory. When we asked if we could say hello to a friend who works there (a former coworker of ours), the situation went from bad to unbelievable. The manager, Carlos, came to our table with an extremely rude, disrespectful, and almost disgusting attitude. Instead of handling the request professionally, he was condescending and dismissive, telling us our friend was “too busy” to greet us — in the most unpleasant tone imaginable. His behavior was shocking and completely unacceptable for someone in a management position. It’s a shame because the rest of the staff seemed kind and attentive to their tables. But our experience with this waiter and manager ruined what was supposed to be a nice celebration. I would absolutely not recommend this place and will never come back after being treated this way.

Seen this place on TikTok and it decided to try it out. What i had was pretty good the shrimp and cod. But most people go for the sticky wings. But the star of the show was the drinks. I had a pineapple crush and added wild berries. This drink was excellent. Drinks were so good came back for seconds. If you looking for a good drink come here. It's right in time square.

These wings were HUGE totally worth the price and the restaurant is huge with an amazing view of Times Square. It’s great for parties and the drinks are fantastic. I got multiple strawberry martinis. I highly recommend.

Atmosphere is warm, festive, spacious and clean. The food was delicious. Nice portion size, beautiful presentation. And the drinks are bomb!

We were skeptical but were greatly surprised at how good the food was. The wings were our favorite. Get the "sticky wings" and make sure to order at least 10. They are crispy, and that sauce is a chefs kiss. If you like sweet Carolina BBQ flavor, you'll love them. The service was fantastic, photos were fun and overall it was a great experience.

We were in Times Square acting like tourists and decided to stop in for a late lunch. We were seated right away which was easy because this location is huge!! They have seating upstairs and downstairs which was nice. There were several large groups there but you would never notice based on how fast the food came out! Our waitress was nice. We ordered the infamous Hennessey wings which were huge. Very nice sized full wings. Me and my sister ordered a side of Cole slaw and my friend ordered the Mac and cheese which had crumbled bacon on top. Like I said, everything came out quickly and hot. The drinks were OK. $10.99 for a regular margarita was a bit much especially since the cup wasn't regular sized. All in all, it was a good dining experience at this location. Definitely check it out if you're close to Times Square and want some good food. Sidenote: I don't know if it was something special for the holidays or something they regularly do but there was a photographer walking around offering to take a free picture. At the end of the meal, they brought us our free picture in addition to some for purchase. One they manipulated into Pixar version! It was so cute and very nice. It was $20 and definitely worth it if you wanted to capture a fun moment.

My visit to Dallas BBQ was initially for the Barbecue and margaritas, but I was pleasantly surprised to leave with a newfound love for their sticky wings. I grabbed sticky wings for an appetizer. For dinner, I ordered the BBQ Brisket with baked potato and strawberry peach virgin daiquiri, which were all reasonably priced. The strawberry peach virgin daiquiri was a delightful surprise. The BBQ Brisket was tender, but the sauce was average. The bun, unfortunately, was not to my liking due to the sesame seeds. The baked potato was good, especially with the added butter, sour cream, and shredded cheese (extra cost). However, the real star of the show was the sticky wings. These were not your typical wing pieces, but whole wings. I received a drum, flat, and tip 5 times, and they were massive. The taste - a perfect blend of sweet, soy sauce-based, and smokiness of a barbecue flavor, with the crunch ... it's been over a week and I'm still dreaming about them.

Here we go, So for Dallas BBQ this is the prime location. Right in Times Square. Great location. Always ,Always crowded. The only negative would be is that the bathroom is not all that great. Waiters are very helpful. Space is very limited. As far as the food , their chicken wings are like monster wings on steroids. Lol. Cornbread is my favorite of course. But the drinks yes Lord . You definitely have more than enough. Desert was OK but it has to grow on me. Overall my experience at BBQ was a good one. Of course I will return again. Happy Yelping.

Okay Yelp! We're out the chat in NYC! Dallas Bbq I was told it was 10/10! But I'm Texas Girlie here! This place is cool! I love the location! Customer service was just ok. The best part was the person taking professional photos! The food was not good! I really wanted to like this place! It's definitely a busy location. Would I go back? Probably not! And I mean this so well! It was worth the shot!

This section of Midtown is almost eerily quiet on a weekday at certain time intervals. It's just one of those things you know if you know! This BBQs location is wonderful to dine-in during those times. The food and drinks are delicious, same as the other locations. The service is okay; it truly depends on how busy or empty it is when you're there. I go here solo or with friends if it's convenient.

Omg when I tell yall this good was amazing! The best chicken I've had in a long time. I'm not even from this city but I definitely will be back. I will say the tables was really small, but the service was amazing really loved our server!

Quite literally the worst meal I've ever had in a restaurant in my life.. The chicken wings tasted so weird I questioned if what I was eating was even chicken. The texture was rubbery, like string cheese. The hot sauce had an insane vinegar smell *and* taste. My poor friend ordered a steak that was so overcooked the table was shaking when she tried to cut it (she ordered medium rare). They gave every table complimentary cake pops that were an absolute joke, literally sandwich bread dipped in chocolate. I couldn't stop laughing when I realized.

Adding Receipt where he added gratuity. Dude was also asking for a cash tip. Ratchet.

Stopped in on a Sunday around 8pm. Got seated right away, and our server took our drink, appetizer, and main entree orders. We had a train to catch back to Jersey at 10:20pm and figured at the rate we were going, we'd have no issue. The restaurant really wasn't busy, with many open tables available. Drinks and apps came out within ten minutes of ordering. We shared 10 Texas crispy style wings with traditional BBQ sauce on the side, and the Angry shrimp (fried shrimp with sweet chili sauce on it). The wings were awesome - very flavorful just on their own. Shrimp were average, sauce was just drizzled on top so they were pretty plain. After finishing our apps AND drinks, we waited for our server. He stopped by about 20 minutes later, cleared our table, and said he just put our dinner order in? We never got a drink refill, to the point where we pulled out our own bottled water from our backpacks. Food came out 25 minutes later. I had the BBQ brisket sliders as my entree, which came with two sliders and Cole slaw. The brisket was very fatty, coleslaw was good but watery. Boyfriend had the smokehouse special which was pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. The ribs barely had any meat on them, but his pulled pork and brisket were decent. Unfortunately by the time our food came out, we were shoveling it down to make it to our train. I probably wouldn't choose to return here with the amount of food options in NYC.

Popped in over here on Mother's Day based off of mom's request. We were immediately sat after being able to see the entire restaurant size (truly it is massive). The escalator was down so we took the steps up the exit as instructed. The theming as we walked through has a lot of bison and random art which was cool to see. The restroom was surprisingly small and felt very tight even though this establishment was huge. Also poorly lit. Once seated we glanced over the menu and I opted for a beer (the one I originally ordered they said they didn't have) a beyond burger and a baked potato. Overall the food was mediocre. You could only get butter, sour cream and cheese with the potato (I asked for chives and was told they didn't have that). The burger was bland and nothing to remember. They gave us free donuts? Cake pops? For Mother's Day which was nice, but they also were very bland.

I love me some BBQ but this wasn't my ideal place to come and dine. It was getting late and this was the only place in Times Square that was taking dine-in orders. Spacious and clean dining area, enjoyable music and a good view of Time Square. The waiter wasn't focus and not paying attention to our order. Luckly, I was hungry or I would of left out. I ordered the half slab of ribs, baked pototoe and a side of cornbread. The food rating 3/10 poor cooking. Nope this is not the place to come and dine if your ever visting N.Y.

Came here for lunch after church with a large group. The place was quite spacious with multiple levels. There was some cool artwork around and the decor was simple, yet nice. As to be expected, it took awhile to be seated and we could not all fit at one table. The hostess was able to seat us in the same area. I ordered the House Special, which consisted of baby back ribs, fried shrimp, sirloin steak, cornbread, crispy onion, along with a side of my choice. I went with the Fries, but should've gone with rice, as the Fries were soggy and not flavorful. I did enjoy the Fried Shrimp, Cornbread, and the Ribs. Fried Shrimp was in well seasoned batter, crunchy and juicy. Cornbread was buttery and soft. Ribs were tender and bold in flavor. The Sirloin Steak was not good... Too tough without much flavor. Service was decent. Pricing is a bit high, as this is a chain restaurant in Times Square. Since the food was mediocre, I would not return.

The food and service were both trash. I take that back. My macaroni was decent but they didnt put the cornbread crumbs on it and my orange fanta was amazing. The cornbread was brick hard. The vegetable medley seemed like it was from a bag and no flavor at all. The chicken was an entire wing and my sisters said it was okay. The server was terrible. He made us feel stupid when asking questions about the menu. There was someone walking around taking pictures. I thought we would enjoy our time as when we arrived the staff was on it. The restaurant was cute. They dont offer dessert and the sauces are $1 extra. My onions had no flavor at all other than tasting like dirty grease. Oh, and the server said he couldn't split our bill.

I visited this place for the first time today while I was in NY seeing a play on Broadway. The atmosphere was inviting, we were seated immediately and our food came out really quickly after we ordered. The biggest problem was the food was not good...at all...the cornbread was so dry and unflavorful that we couldn't eat it... should have known not to get chicken in a bbq place, but my friend said hers was dry and bland. The mac and cheese was so runny that even adding salt and pepper could not make it more palatable. The only redeeming qualities of the meal were the ribs, and the Hennessy Coladas. I truly wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I left hungry and not satisfied. The crazy thing is all around us, the food looked so appetizing on everyone else's tables.

My visit to Dallas BBQ was about what I expected: average. It's been years since I've eaten here, and outside of the chicken (which they're known for), I hadn't tried much else. I was seated right away and waited on by Jon. I ordered the salmon with fried shrimp, a baked potato, and a piña colada. The colada? Solid. The salmon? Lukewarm in the middle. The shrimp? Pretty lackluster in flavor. The potato was cooked fine but dry, and they only gave me a single tiny pat of butter--hard to spread and not nearly enough. The bigger issue was the service rhythm. My order took 30-45 minutes to come out (and it was just me dining solo). When the food finally arrived, Jon never circled back to check if I needed anything--which mattered, because I definitely did (extra butter, napkins, the basics). I eventually had to flag him down. To his credit, he brought what I needed, but he only really checked in again once it was time to settle the bill. And speaking of the bill: the menu listed one price, but my check showed another. Turns out prices recently went up, and I hadn't been given the updated menu. Jon spoke with the manager, and they adjusted it to reflect what I was shown, which I appreciated. Overall, not terrible, not great. Just average--which, honestly, is what I was expecting when I walked in.

Came on a Saturday evening and service was fast even though the spot was packed. Got ribs and sticky wings. They were both good and i would recommend. Yellow rice was alright. Margaritas were eh i don't think i would get it again. Friendly staff.

THIS PLACE IS HUGE LOL We walk in and keep going and then we take the escalator and the place just never ends omfg... kinda crazy. Got a seat by the window so it was fun watching down on people walk around. Food was fine. Got the sticky wings which okay, I got the 5pc bc i didn't wanna spend much but i was hungry so i was worried it wouldn't be enough but omg these "wings" were HUGE! Like these were large chicken strips, talk about value! The sticky sauce was interesting...... smokey but sweet but not like a bbq sauce but more candy vibes??? Weird af but the chicken was crispy and I went home with leftovers so I can't complain. Got a side of the mac and cheese which was standard. It did match a texas southern bbq style mac and cheese tho! The real kicker here are the DRINKSSSSSS omg one thing ive been lacking in nyc is the giant tex mex style frozen drinks and this place DELIVERED. Got a BANANA piña colada. Yeah thats right a BANANA ONE!!!! Amazing. I downed that bowl it was fire and I actually felt something off of it!!! Might not come back for the food but WILL be back for the drinks.

I love coming here because the drinks are amazing and the wings are extremely huge. I love how the staff was very informative on the business and the menus and any specials they had running that week or month. It's a great place to go with family or friends it a very casual vibe so no need to dress up it's also great to meet up for a happy hour with friends. The pina coladas were delicious and they are yummy and hugeeee you definitely get a bang for your buck here and it's a New York staple!

12/6/25 was the first time I came here. I wanted to try something new. Food was definitely good and so was the service. I came here on a Saturday so I already knew it was going to be crowded and with it being in Times Square.

Food was decent. I believe you can never go wrong with this place as there is something everyone can enjoy whether it be a drink or food. Service was alright although our server took forever to ring us up. Ambiance is a nice place to stop by with friends or even go on a chill date .

This place is okay. We come here as a tradition after we see the Christmas tree with our family. We were greeted when we came in. They gave us a number to store our stroller. We were seated quick. Waiter was good in the beginning but at the end we couldn't find him to pay which was annoying because we were with kids. Food was okay. Tried the angry shrimp and it just didn't taste good. Drenched in sauce but lacked flavor. The hot wings are tasty. The sticky wings were too. Tried the piña colada was good too especially with the extra shot. Tried some of my son's Mac and cheese and it was okay. It's always packed there but we were sat somewhere it wasn't too crowded which was great especially with kids.

Another theater visit ,another Dallas bbq visit. As always the Times Square establishment is always bustling with excitement and non stop activity. It's always busy here but the service is always on point. Our server Bijon was excellent had a great disposition and was very nice. We started with cocktails, I had a frozen strawberry daiquiri, my wife had her go to piña colada and my daughter had a margarita. The drinks were potent and always good. We did the sticky wings. We did the Hennessy wings ,bowl of mac & cheese, crumbled bacon and crumble cornbread on top. My wife had corn yellow rice. My daughter had the salmon and fried shrimp and we had the cornbread. Everything was delicious and excellent so much food we definitely had to take a box to go. If you're ever in Times Square Dallas BBQ is the place to go. You won't be disappointed.

Where do I start? Times Square BBQ, is lacking in professional behavior towards its customers. My friend & I went there in New Year's Day 1/1/2025 to celebrate the New Year bc we never go out on the Eve. Our waiter, Anthony covers Table #60, started off polite but after placing our order he became lackadaisical. He never brought us our water & I was dehydrated, a manager had to accommodate us. The waiter took orders of ppl who sat next to us & they even got their food 1st. So, idk ‍ what was up with that? We had to ask for our food a couple of times b4 it came. Then we had to ask for silverware to eat. We were nice to him so we didn't understand why he was so cold 2 us. Maybe, his boss said he had to work late we don't know, but never take that out on the customer. He never asked us if we needed anything else, but get this he asked the ppl who came after us if they were good . Go figure! We didn't order drinks bc we don't drink. So, idk ‍ if he's getting commission in pushing drinks bc he attitude did appear after we said we'll take water & a ginger ale. Wow! Hospitality & courtesy is not really here if ur looking to have a pleasant night out. The floors, could be swept more often after customers leave, ppl were sat @ tables with crumbs & cornbread beneath the tables. We sat at an open space table near the kitchen & waiters would bump me & never turn to say excuse me or sorry. My friend noticed & was about to say something but I said it was ok bc I was never coming no there. The last time, I was @ this location was like 7 yrs ago & now I remember why? I go to Applebees across the street bc the waiters & staff is so much friendlier. The food was ok but it's not worth my money when I can get treated better somewhere else. So, no I don't recommend this particular BBQ's bc the hospitality sucks.

Pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed Dallas BBQ. This location is huge and seats many people at once. We were a large party, served quick. I ordered the turkey chili and 5 count sticky wings. I could have done with just the cup of chili. Their portions are huge. The chili was flavorful and paired great with their cornbread. I wish it was a bit hotter when it arrived to the table, but that's the only thing. The sticky wings are massive. 5 is plenty for one or to even share. Prepare to actually be sticky as it does get messy.

4 stars for food- 2.5 stars for seating and disorganization I haven't been here since I was 17 (I'm 29 now) and the sticky wings have been engraved in my memory I had to go back. They tasted just how I remember and they were absolutely delicious. I understand this place is very popular but there needs to be some order in seating. The staff walk around with walkie talkies are completely unorganized and there needs to be a better way to coordinate seating for guests. We were told to go upstairs and when we did there was no one immediately available to even tell us where we shouldn't stand to be out of the way of people. Once you go upstairs there's confusion because the women's restroom is to the right and so is the additional line to be seated. The women's rest room line is backed all the way to guest tables and that needs to be addressed.

Visiting New York and was told I had to come here... Rating a 3 based on my food. Which was sticky tenders, cornbread and a pina colada with an extra shot. However the rest of my party didn't like their food. The food was bland was the biggest complaint. I will say if you are coming here definitely make sure you put in a reservation as the line is out the door however my personal experience was it wouldn't be worth a long wait. Also we got water and it did not taste good. They need to use filtered water or better filtered water

This place is massive. Upon entering there is an escalator that takes you up to the dining room. We were promptly seated. They were busy so the waiter came to the table to greet us and said he would come right back. We ordered drinks and food- the barbeque sliders, cod sliders, Stella Artois, and orange soda. The server was attentive without hovering. The food was delivered quickly. My fries were cold. They were quickly replaced with hot fries. Everything else was decent. My only complaints were most items were a la cart. Just make it a platter and charge accordingly and if you want additional sauces you are charged a $1. I'm not cheap by a long shot just put it in the price. I hate to be nickel and dimed for every little thing. Overall I would return if in the city to try different items.

The food was delicious, I came with a group of 80 seniors, the host ordered ahead, we had the chicken and ribs dinner, coleslaw and sodas we on the tables awaiting us, we were seated, and waiters began to serve , they moved swiftly, and while being questioned and asked to bring things and change things, they were great, the place was large and had enough room for everyone to eat and drink comfortably there was a photographer taking pictures they were $20 and the drinks were pretty good, we enjoyed our time there!! Great Job

First Time visiting and I can't wait to go back. Customer Service- Our waiter was awesome. Super friendly, and helpful. Our food came out fast & hot. Everything was super hot, fresh, and delicious. The sticky flavor I'd never had before and when I tasted it, it was like a party instantly invaded my mouth. OMG!!! Margarita-Woooooooweeeee this was deliciously flavorful and packed with just the right amount of tequila. No other words are needed, if you visit order one or two. Ambiance- Right in the heart of Times Square and a tourist favorite to view. Absolutely no parking, it is NY

PROS: service was good and attentive, as for food - chili was very good, it was thick & temperature was hot, cornbread was lightly sweet, brisket sliders were good and coleslaw was good too (not mayonnaisy). Overall, food was an 8.5/10. Atmosphere was lively, bustling and the restaurant is easy to find & in a great location, walkable. CONS: waitress - she could have been friendlier or least faked it. She was super dry... never smiled at all, unpleasant.

The food was okay! The reason for the low rating is due to the lack of willingness to accommodate their customers! My husband and I decided to give this place a try and ordered 3 full meals as well as drinks and appetizers between just the two of us. We were sat at a small table for two but once the food started to arrive we quickly realized that we'd had run out of space at our table. We came on a day & time where the restaurant was not too busy and there were SEVERAL empty tables including the ones on both sides of ours! We politely asked our server and the manager if we could have one of the empty tables on either side of ours moved closer to allow us space to eat and they REFUSED assist or accommodate us in anyway! I didn't even get to eat my food in the restaurant because our table was over full and they were unwilling to accommodate! I absolutely won't be coming back but to each his own ‍

It was our first time here and the food was cold... when asked for food to be fresh he offered to just take it off the bill. "It's a slow night, it'll take 25 minutes to make anything" which we had the time to wait but Juan didn't care. Came out with colder fries. Only thing good was the taste of the margarita ... the salt felt stuck to the cup. Never returning

Midtown Manhattan urban lunches - 1 of 2 I was transiting through New York City and it was going to take two subway rides to get to La Guardia Airport. However, I could put 2 to 2.5 hours in between the trains, get lunch, and visit with a friend from grad school I hadn't seen in at least two decades and who tries to live in other places but always returns to Manhattan. We texted and talked and agreed to meet for lunch, but I only required that it be close to Port Authority (which I used to call Port of Authority through my teen years) and that it wouldn't be on the list of a few cuisines I do not eat. The first suggestion was Carlo's and I happened to be on that corner, looked in, and didn't want to go there, even though they had some lunch fare. Then, I wondered if the place was under the umbrella of the 'You can't arrest me ... I'm the Cake Boss!' guy. I told my friend I'd pass on that one. My friend lives far up on the Upper West Side and didn't know too many places to eat in Midtown. She tossed out a place named Dallas BBQ. I looked it up and, since I was also tired of sleuthing, I agreed to it. Dallas is a Tri-state chain barbecue place and this store is not even a block east of Port Authority and, in reality, it's fine. You can get all the Texan stuff and the fixings, but there are other options. I had a chicken sandwich with fries and my friend had a Caesar salad. Accompanying these dishes were a soft drink and an iced tea, respectively. Upon walking in, you will note that this restaurant is big and that a lot of the seating is upstairs. We went up there and it seemed like the serving staff was "checked out" ... and they weren't even full. Once we sat down and started ordering, they became more engaged. (And, no, I refrained and did not speak Spanish to them, which could have really taken things in two opposite directions.) The deal was that they seemingly help each other and I couldn't tell who our server was. However, things started to click and the servers got to work. The tab was palatable for being in such a trafficked urban location. I almost didn't want to eat here, either. It initially gave off a Hard Rock Café vibe and I have made it a point not to eat at any Hard Rock Café, unless someone were to pay for it. I liked sitting upstairs and Dallas has windows onto 42nd Street below. Laughter doesn't hurt and my friend has retained the same quirky and irreverent sense of humor. In unsuccessfully trying to live in other places to get more bang for the buck, she blurted out, "Low cost is boring!" and laughed. Classic. So, she slogs through the daily grind in Manhattan. I had to scratch my head here ... how is it that one goes to a (then) Big 10 university, initially stays in contact with only two people from that region, and everyone else I met and stayed in contact with was from the Northeast or foreign? Is there some kind of homing device that you meet these people almost instinctively without knowing where they hail from? There is no halo effect for Dallas BBQ for this reunion and the laughter from looking back at some of the trying and ridiculous things about our program. The rating here is for food that's reliable, prices that are contextually fair, service that finally warmed up and got the job done, and being an acceptable option in proximity to both Port Authority and Times Square.

Dallas BBQ is a staple restaurant. However, I did not enjoy this location. We did not have a great server. He was not attentive. He did not have good people skills. We misses out on the customer service experience Dallas BBQ is known for. The food was fresh. I wish it had been a better experience.

Still so good I came back to back days. They strive to get you in and out. They do so nicely. Food and drinks are great!!!

Food was pretty good for the price server was mad slow . I kept having to ask the bussers for the stuff we needed because out server was always on the other side of the floor and talking

When in doubt on a hot muggy night, go to Dallas Bbqs and get yourself a frozen drink, you could never go wrong especially after dining at a restaurant that did not satisfy you lol. I got my favorite, the Hennessey Colada and my best friend got the Tsunami and it ended our night perfectly. We will always go back even if it's just for the frozen drinks. Atmosphere is cool and chill and the service was a little slow but I would wait a few minutes longer for my frozen drink. :) Cheers

Honestly thought it would be non-fried food, but the meats were very thin and had very thick batter. Felt like I was eating oil most of the time... Service was hands off and ambiance wasn't the best

We got the 1/4 chichen white with yellow rice, starter chicken tenders, salmon with yellow rice and a cup of mac and cheese and a cup of the turkey chili. My 7 year old thinks the chicken is two thumbs up but a little spicy. My daughter said the 1/4 was bland but the yellow rice was good. The mac and cheese and turkey chili were delicious. My husband said the salmon was OK but that's his standard answer. The biggest negative is they give you soft drinks in tiny cups with no free refills. What's up with that?? The restaurant is very loud with the amount of people plus music and the tables are really close to each other not offering much privacy. Service is very slow.

Meh, overrated. My friend went on and on about Hennessy wings and how they are soooo delicious, so of course I need to try for myself, right?? Here goes: The wings are huge, not your normal chicken wings. My friend and I ordered the 10 pieces of Hennessy wings, angry shrimp, and fries. The angry shrimp were not a hit, nice size, but flavor no. Either way, this was way too much... we should have done the six piece and even that would be a task to finish. The Hennessy sauce is good, but something is missing... maybe a little more sweet and a dash of spicy?? I don't know, but the pieces of meat are so large, it honestly grossed me out a bit especially as I look at the wall with the huge bison grazing the field! Maybe this is an opportunity to offer 'mighty bison wings' and standard mini wings... the smaller more normal version of wings. This would make a lot of difference for someone like me. The restaurant: The location is upbeat, bright, good music and clearly folks are fans or want to check this place out! The drink menu looks fun, I didn't drink, but my friend did and she enjoyed. Gary was our server, he was nice and mostly attentive considering how busy it was. Overall, this seems to be a fun spot, just have to find something on the menu that tastes amazing and leaves me wanting more versus repelled.

The food here is good, lots of selection. I think the prices are very good for it being in Manhattan and more precisely Times Square. The service is hectic but good considering that this place is insanely busy . It's a somewhat touristy place with many tourist but lots of native New Yorkers also .

I used to live in New York and I would take my visitors here because of the quality of the food and the price. When you're traveling, you can't beat it.

Actually one of the worst services I've had. We left dinner in a worse mood than when we arrived. I'm confused because I don't think there was any malice intent with any of the staff, in fact they apologized whenever something went wrong. But the service was genuinely so bad. -------- SERVICE (skip to bottom for food and tldr-- food was amazing) A server dropped and shattered a soda glass near our table and it got on my bag and my cousin's coat. Stained my bag and nothing was done about it until I made a manager aware after dinner and he rubbed it with a hand wipe, gave it to me half way, and told me it would go away after some more rubbing? They FORGOT half of our dishes, including appetizer and made us wait TWENTY minutes for half of our food. So we ate half our order and it wasn't until we asked our waitress twice and her manager got involved that we got our onion loaf and wings. Really annoying to have a twenty minute break in the middle of dinner. The table right behind us came in after us and still got their food first (also wings, so it wasn't like their food took shorter to make.) Our food came out after the manager checked the back for us. Very poor service. Plates with food still on it were cleared :((( like they would stack a dirty plate on top of what was an unfinished plate (a few fries or some macaroni but still, I was going to eat that) before we could protest. We asked for bbq sauce and for whatever reason, our waitress brought us soy sauce? We ordered ribs and sticky wings and I'm confused why this happened. Water was not refilled and we were not asked if we needed anything else unless we actively waved down our waitress as the other waitresses insisted only the one assigned to our table could address us. No compensation for any of these faux paus. The incompetence was absurd. -------------------------- NOW THE FOOD!!!!! Okay, the food is so good. Like, if service didn't screw up so badly, I'd give it a strong 4.5 stars and I will probably still come back (but not with company) because I like their sticky wings and don't mind crappy service if I'm alone/not trying to show other people a good time. Get the sticky wings. Every time, I think I want to explore and get the Hennessy bbq or hot wings. And every time I am wrong. Don't waste your time with any other wing flavor -- only sticky wings. Each wing is the size of like 2-3 regular hot wings at other stores. They're huge, plan accordingly. I get full from 2. SAVE AND DIP EVERYTHING IN THAT HOLY GRAIL STICKY SAUCE. Mac and cheese with bacon: GET IT! Possibly one of the best Mac and cheeses I've had in my life??? I don't usually like Mac and cheese but this one was straight up my ally. Seafood platter was good too, the fried fish was yummy. Sticky ribs were good, a lil drier but fine if you dip it in more sauce. Onion loaf is fine, fried onions -- they're good but you've probably had it before. I got a 20 oz virgin strawberry daiquiri and tried the tangerine frozen mocktail. Honestly, just get a Diet Coke or sprite. The carbonated fountain sodas pair soooo well with the heavier food. Beer would be good too. The strawberry daiquiri was good (think frozen strawberry lemonade) but too sweet. ---------- Overall amazing, no-fluff, affordable American food (maybe one of my top?), but the worst service ever haha -- they mean well?? but get ready to speak up and point out that they literally forgot half your order, are taking away plates with food still on them, and spilling drinks on your stuff -- but gratuity included in price wtf.

The food was tasty and the drink was amazing. My waiter was very attentive. I really enjoy Dallas bbq and would highly recommend

We entered and immediately greeted by a hostess. Went up to the second floor and was seated right away. We only got apps during our time here and then didn't disappoint! The Hennessy wings were good but it just tasted like bbq sauce. The fried chicken wings naked were plain but it was SO good. Light, crispy and flavorful. Overall experience was great and we come here every time we visit NY

We were part of a group and immediately seated in a large separate area upstairs, the service was very prompt. This is a bustling restaurant, and I am very perplexed as to why. Maybe when they serve food for groups, it is totally different than those ordering from the main menu. I can say that the restaurant, considering there were so many people inside was organized and clean. Generally, this is a type of place that would have food or napkins on the floor because of volume and so many children. I didn't see it. A positive! As for the food when it arrives it was room temperature not hot or warm. The chicken was very dry. The cornbread was fairly decent, but I wasn't impressed by the meal at all, the ribs I packed up and took them home. I still haven't tried them, no rush. For dessert they gave us old freezer burned ice cream sandwiches. Would I return? NOPE hard pass!

We got a hankering for meat. Large portions of bbq smoked beef and pork. How convenient there's a bbq joint within a short walk of the hotel. My uncle warned us of the huge portions. He was right. What I don't understand is where they get these great big chicken wings. They were ginormous! The food here is decent. Nothing spectacular, which is fine. I don't think the meat is smoked. But they never said it was. I thought the Turkey chili was their best effort. I'm a big Turkey chili fan and this is one of the better ones. Comes with sour cream, cheese and cool ranch Doritos. I'm happy! The Hennessy wings were a solid choice as was the BBQ Brisket Burger. My cousin Lou is sold on their Hennessy Burger. The prices were reasonable and all the people were great. The room itself was like an assembly line of dinner tables. Not much atmosphere, bland, kind of a "choke and run" feel. Not a big thing with me. I was focused on the beef. If we ever get back here, I want a stab at the "New" Sticky Ribs. Sounds intriguing. 01/24
