"Bellevue’s Dan Gui Sichuan Cuisine serves up a solid selection of items, like saliva chicken — the cold chicken is poached and served in chile sauce, making for a mouthwatering (get it—saliva chicken?) experience. Chile-mixed eggplant with preserved egg comes in a large mortar with a pestle provided to mash everything together until you get a funky mixture. The menu showcases numerous bowls of fish in broth; try the ma la tofu pudding with fish filets in a spicy numbing broth. The seemingly simple dry pot cabbage shows off the skills of the kitchen, as the smokiness of the wok hei shines through." - Jay Friedman

"This restaurant in a strip mall in Bellevue’s Bel-Red neighborhood serves some of the best Sichuan food in the Seattle area, at much lower prices than most of its competitors. The mapo tofu (made with fermented black beans and chili fava bean paste) has unparalleled depth. The cold dishes, like cucumber salad and wood-ear salad, are refreshing and satisfying. And the restaurant also serves excellent renditions of American Chinese dishes like sweet and sour chicken — something that some of the other Sichuan restaurants in the area don’t offer." - Brett Bankson, Eater Staff

- delicious squirrel fish - We ordered the squirrel fish 松鼠龍利魚 and the sweet and sour pork 糖醋里肌 for takeout tonight, and I picked them up around 5:30 pm. The restaurant was 60% full at that time, and there were 3 other takeouts waiting to be picked up. My experience here has been great, and I especially ordered stuff here since not many restaurants in Bellevue sell the squirrel fish. For some reason I just really want it for the lunar new year lol. They provided a separate container for the squirrel fish sauce, and I think it's definitely a dish that you need to enjoy in the restaurant. It's still great but it's just not the same. The sweet and sour pork was good and crunchy, but the two sauces were too similar, which was my fault. Overall I enjoyed the food here, and I really miss their chili mixed eggplant & preserved egg. It's something that I crave for every once in a while.

Used to love the place for many tasty dishes that make you want to come back. For people who have dietary restrictions, remind the kitchen to put less msg, salt or oils.

Food was authentic (maybe Chongqing?), fresh ingredients. Haven’t had these flavors since we left China! Best Chili Chicken on the West Coast! The frog was really good! How did they get such fresh frog in the US!? The waitress Connie was really nice, and made our family feel really welcome! A lot like being back in China!!

I’ve ordered from this restaurant many times because the food is usually excellent. However, I was extremely disappointed and concerned when I found a rusted steel string in my spicy beef dish yesterday. Not only was this unpleasant, but it could have posed a serious health risk if ingested or if it had caused injury. This level of carelessness from the kitchen is unacceptable, and I hope the restaurant takes immediate steps to address food safety and ensure something like this never happens again.

Dan Gui Szechuan restaurant was the best that I've ever had! Sweet and spicy dishes overloaded on the plates! The staff was very kind and the food was excellent!

Google
The food here is great! I got the Double Cooked Fried Fish, which was my favorite thing here so far. It's lightly crispy, and the fish was pretty juicy inside. The spice and the black beans really added to the overall taste of the fish, too. I also got the Butter buns, which came with condensed milk. They were a bit inconsistent; some buns were overly hard/cooked, while some were lightly crispy on the outside. When I'm the latter case, these buns were very nice! But yeah, when they weren't, they honestly weren't that great to eat. This might have been an off chance batch, though. I also got some green vegetables, but they were just okay here. Overall, I really enjoyed this place, and am happy to try out more of their stuff next time!

The Shui Zhu Yu is absolutely amazing and the fish is really tender! If you’re a fan of authentic Sichuan dishes, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

We went here for lunch on a weekday. No wait time for seating. We ordered six dishes plus Butter Little Bun. Dishes were all in decent portion and came really fast! Both of waitress and waiter served well. Dishes were all delicious,a few of them were even beyond our expectations. We will definitely come again.

Yelp
It wasn't at all what I was expecting. The food here is authentic, delicious and soul satisfying!!! Everything we ordered was piping hot amd made fresh. The noodles were the best I've ever tasted.. hands down. Service is quick and the staff is attentive. It's a family friendly environment so it's a little loud. There's a lot of parking in the complex so you don't have to worry about that. I am craving to try some more of their items.

Yelp
OMG! Our newly most favorite Szechuan Chinese restaurant in the greater Seattle area! It's ALWAYS a testament to a fabulous restaurant when you're greeted in the native language of the restaurant and just about EVERYONE you a see there are Asian! LOL (ok... out of 16 tables, I saw ONE family of four that weren't Asian!) We ordered soooo much food in anticipation of getting to bring home fantastic leftovers! We ordered stir fried green beans (干煸四季豆), fried buns (奶油小包), tofu and fish (稻花鱼), spicy chicken cartilage (辣雞軟骨), fried noodles (炒面) and sake rice ball (九娘芝麻球) for dessert! Everything was fantastic and we happily brought home leftovers from their large portioned dishes!

Yelp
Located in the 520 Plaza, Mercury's coffee shop, this place looks small from the outside, but it was spacious on the inside. You're greeted by friendly staff and a kiosk to add your name on the waiting list. There are 3 round tables for big parties (8-10 maybe), a couple of tables for 6, and the rest are for parties of 4 or less. There are 3-4 booths toward the back. We arrived a little before 6 pm and the place was in full swing. We had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table. Menu had pictures, which was great because some of the names of the dishes are not familiar to us and sounded a bit off-putting, like "saliva chicken" (but the picture looked good so maybe we'll try that dish next time). There was only 2 of us so had a hard time narrowing dishes because we wanted to try a lot more! Tea Smoked Duck - love how you can taste the smoky flavor! The skin was crispy. Very different from the usual 5-spice roasted duck we have occasionally. I highly recommend this dish! Cumin Lamb - served on a sizzling plate, thinly sliced meat full of flavor! Definitely not shy with the cumin! But in addition to the cumin flavor, I enjoyed the flavor nuances -- one bite and I tasted ginger, another bite had roasted garlic, and another had a hint of star anise or some fragrant seasoning. This dish has heat and you can see it from the red chili peppers, but the heat wasn't overpowering. Not to us at least. :) Another recommendation! Garlic A Choy - not sure what A Choy is but it reminded me of Choy Sum. In any case, it was very tasty! Special Fried Noodle - chow mein noodles, stir fried with shrimp, beef, chicken and veggies. Another tasty dish! The Garic A Choy and Special Fried Noodle were nice balance to the flavorful duck and lamb dish. I recommend all of them! Service was great. Food came out quickly after ordering. Will be coming back!

Yelp
My family and I enjoy Dan Gui pretty frequently! It's been a couple months since I last came though and the beef and squid were both quite tough this time around. It feels like the beef might have been cut the wrong direction of the grain maybe? And the squid is usually hard to get right, but I was hoping it'd be a little more tender. Overall though the flavor is delicious as always and we had a great meal. Service is quick and responsive, and there's always a great energy in the air from all the groups eating and having a good time. Clean and lively!

Yelp
With a group of 4 we tried the Chongqing Grilled Fish, Garlic (Stir-Fried) Peavines, Cumin Lamb, and Chili Chicken. And it all smacks. If you want the burn and cleaning of sinuses that Szechuan food typically brings, this place will accomplish that along with a bunch of great savory flavors. The Chili Chicken was definitely tables favorite dish and could eat a lot of this dish. With those 4 orders, we had some leftovers and were left comfortably full. Would definitely come again.

Yelp
Have gone here for lunch and handful of times and it hits the spot both because of the lunch menu and it's fairly priced at about $15 for decent sized entrees. Dan Gui is real deal Chinese food, or at least appears to be. The majority of patrons here appear to be Chinese, and a lot of the menu is in Chinese. Also the offerings are different as opposed to the more Americanized Chinese fare we know and love. I've had both the Kung pao chicken and the far and wide favorite General Tso's lunch entrees here and both are good. The Kung Pao Chicken has a lot of different flavors going on and includes nuts, and a slightly spicy sauce. The General Tso's is very flavorful and doesn't have as much of crispiness as the usual General Tso's you'd expect. I kind of like it. Service is fast but not as personal, perhaps language barriers being a possibility. The restaurant has plenty of seating and even on the lunch visits I've made with lots of other patrons, they're still a few tables open. Solid authentic Chinese food overall.

Yelp
We got 5 dishes: - Sweet & Sour Pork - grilled Japan tofu - assorted dry pot - cumin lamb - stir fried beef Dangui is one of our go-to Chinese restaurants in Bellevue besides Spicy PoPo. These 5 dishes are definitely our go-to dishes. I really like getting some spicy dishes like the lamb along with sweet dishes like the tofu and pork.

Katherine Y.

Yelp
I had a wonderful lunch here with coworker today. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Service was attentive and fast. We ordered 3 dishes to share and all came out piping hot and nice. I love the cumin lamb as always and my coworker was also impressed with the green bean. I was surprised that they were not busy at all with only a couple of tables during prime lunch time.

Andrew H.

Yelp
Prices are actually reasonable since the portion sizes here are big. One of the best Sichuan restaurants in the area in my opinion. Everything we ate was flavorful and not too oily or salty, and was pretty authentic. Come here if you like authentic Sichuan food!

Emma V.

Yelp
We came here with a group of about 10 people, and had the best time. Everything was phenomenal, definitely will be back!

Yelp
This is now my go to Chinese Restaurant in Bellevue area. They have great authentic dishes, but also really good westernized Chinese food. Which I also enjoy! The service is quick. Like lightning quick. Almost magic! I'm surprised how quick it is sometimes. Friendly to non Chinese speaking guests, as well as kid friendly too. Really enjoy how they can cater and accommodate to everyone! Food is oily. Just like how the Chinese intends it to be! But delicious! Delicious fried rice, delicious fried fish, delicious honey walnut prawns, delicious spicy egg plant, delicious Japanese egg tofu. Menu is vasstttttt! And everything seemed so good. And portions are definitely family style! Come in bigger groups! And come hungry. Or be prepared to pack leftovers for the next meal. But that's always a great thing imo. Always looking forward to coming here with bigger groups. So I can try more things. Nom nom. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Authentic Sichuan. The fish fillet was huge and not overly spicy. The fried chicken was a delight; a bit too much batter. The dessert bread was fresh and hot; really enjoyed it. Grilled squid is a must - some of the best I've had. Food was served quickly and plentiful. Would gladly go again.

Xuan Z.

Yelp
My favorite was Cumin Lamb. It's was so flavorful and authentic! It's a must order. We also ordered the roasted fish. The fish was nice. Wish it was a bit more savory. Will visit again for sure!

Yelp
An excessive amount of Sichuan peppers in the battered and fried fish ensured that nothing could be tasted after the first bite. I understand the use of bones & skin to make a broth, but to serve the chicken & pork soup with all sorts of oddly shaped bones in it, is terrible. Only 1 was identifiable as a chicken leg, the rest were bones meant to be in a doggy bag. All this inedible material took up more than half the volume of the small soup bowl (see pic). It lacked a basic level of salt too. The only edible thing was the mixed special fried rice, which could have used half the oil. As if the food wasn't bad enough, the service was worse. The 2 young servers spent most of their time talking to each other or looking at their phones. It took forever to get their attention for the most basic things. Even when we asked them what our options for drinks were, they didn't even mention the beers they serve. The temperature of the drinking water they serve you is great (room temperature) but it tastes of plastic - they need to move to glass water jugs/water bottles that they fill & keep on hand. The ambiance is good - it is a nice, bright, airy, open, well-decorated space. The 3 entrees cost us $68 - not cheap.

Kamini S.

Yelp
My new favorite Chinese restaurant! You have to get the cumin lamb, it was SO DELICIOUS. I would come back just for this!!!! We also got the chilli chicken and dan dan which were good but not as good as the cumin lamb. The service was also top tier, got a table within entering and all our food in 10 minutes.

Bonnie G.

Yelp
We came to try the lunch specials. Seemed like a pretty good deal. That said, food on other tables looked better and more interesting. I'll come back to try ordering from the full menu. They handled the busy lunch crowd extremely well. I was impressed. The spicy and sour soup was ok, not really spicy. The broccoli beef was decent. The Mongolian beef had good flavor but was very chewy.

Lilian X.

Yelp
Everything was delicious! We love our meat dishes but I have to say the green beans was my friends and my favorite! Cumin lamb is a must get. It's a bit salty and oily but honestly pretty common when you eat out in general. Service was great, we checked in on a busy Friday dinner rush hour and only waited 10 minutes. iPad check in which then notifies you on the phone. The restaurant passed my cleanliness standard!

Zack R.

Yelp
Good food, a little disorganized in wait lists and seating/serving, overall quick food service, and very sichuan. By very sichuan I just mean pretty much every dish has heavy sichuan 'numbing' pepper in it. I love it as does my wife, but the kids not so much (it isn't really hot, the numbing just makes water taste weird :D) We generally get green onion pancake everywhere we go. This is a pretty standard one but with a little more flavor and oil than others. It didn't come with any dipping sauce though we had plenty to soak up in the dishes. I wish it was the thicker doughier style but I'll keep searching. Family approved. The beef and tofu dish, and the beef noodle soup tasted pretty much the same due to the spices used. Flavorful, kinda oily but that is to be expected. The egg tofu was smooth like custard, but doesn't take up much of the sauce flavor directly. The beef noodle soup was good (again, if you like that flavor) but a chewier noodle or hand shaven would have really set it apart. It was pretty much spaghetti... Though it grabbed the sauce and flavor well so it did work. The last fish was sweet and sour pork, as we tried for something more kid friendly. It was cooked well, thicker meat than in many other places, flavorful and not too thick shell, and sweet sauce. I'd say a little too sweet as near the end of the meal it started to harden into almost a thick caramel but just eat faster! Oh, the appetizers were good! Flavorful wood ear mushrooms and spicy potatoes!

Samat B.

Yelp
It was the worst Chinese food which I have even tried. We ordered many things but the only things which I liked are bread and Diet Coke. We spend around $150, and not worth the money, also services was bad

Marie R.

Yelp
I'm on a mission to go to all of the restaurants on Eater Seattle's 38 essential restaurants and this place is one of them. My fiancé and I are not big on Szechuan food but we wanted to see if maybe we can be open to new types of food. We got the special fried rice, chicken wings, Dan Dan noodles, and mapo tofu. The mapo tofu and the Dan Dan noodles were good, but we're just not our type of dishes. The chicken and wings and the fried rice were good. We're open to coming back and try their other less spicy stuff next time!

Yelp
Visiting from Phoenix so lucky to have found this amazing Sichuan food restaurant in Bellevue a couple of miles from our hotel

Yelp
Sichuan cuisine is an over-used and abused claim in the US, to the point that it's lost its meaning. Now when one reads "Sichuan" one does not consider that they'll be eating anything special. Dan Gui can change that. Like the hundreds, if not thousands of times before, I did not expect anything distinctively Sichuan at Dan Gui. Much to my delight I was very wrong. Dan Gui proved to be a culinary delight that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone with a discerning palate seeking an outstanding meal. To be clear, living in the US, I myself am not experienced with actual Sichuan cuisine. However, if Dan Gui is authentic, then I can instantly understand why Sichuan is so famous, with peppercorn seasoning was so very distinctive and flavorful that one cannot imagine any other way one word use the spice. In our visit we had the braised fish, lamb, and vegetables. I cannot wait to try others when I return. Boiled Spicy Fish FilletCumin LambSichuan Peppercorn

Yelp
Came here last night. The place was packed which is a good sign. They have a sign in and text system which works for me. Their food cleanliness score is just ok (posted outside on the window) and although the food was clean and I had no issues the pitcher of water on the table looked kinda gross ngl I wouldn't drink from the pitchers. No big deal tho I didn't come here for the water. The sweet and sour pork was great, instead of clumpy mushy balls they were thin strips which allowed for a much better crisp/carmelization ratio and a better taste and texture than most sweet and sour pork's. I really wish every Chinese restaurant did their chicken dishes this way. The spicy boiled beef had a good mixture of spice mixed with the minced garlic and seasoning on top was really flavorful. Shrimp fried noodles hit the spot for my Americanized Chinese taste as well. Overall I found this place better than Tian Fu. Lots of authentic dishes but also stuff for the white folk lol

Sharon F.

Yelp
We put our names down at 6pm for 4 people on a Saturday and had to wait about 30 minutes. Pretty good! But everything is on the not so spicy side. So for me, that was a minus but it might be better for you if you prefer that.

Yelp
Mid-size Sichuan restaurant in one of the plazas along Northup Way. The inside looks bigger than the storefront would indicate. Clean, simple interior. Was there for an earlier lunch on weekend, and didn't have trouble getting a table. Seems to have filled up but not completely full when we were done. Menu is large and has plenty of offerings, mostly spicy as expected. They have photos for most of the dishes in their menu, which is appreciated. We got the vine pepper fish fillet, the dry pot pork rib for dishes, and asked for low spice. Also got their special fried rice for carbs and their fried mantou (buns) for dessert. Portions are generous, especially for the fish fillets and the fried rice. Both the fish fillet and the dry pot were plenty flavorful even with low spice levels, and also had plenty of fish/meat. The fried rice was milder in flavor, but they put in plenty of ingredients like chicken beef and shrimp. My fave might be the fried mantou though, since the mantou was very fluffy and soft on the inside with a nice crisp on the outside. Dipping it in condensed milk makes for a nice dessert. It was about $70 total, which wasn't too bad considering we had plenty of leftovers. One of the best Sichuan restaurants I've been to in the area.

Mayu D.

Yelp
Ambience - 3/5. It's a typical Chinese restaurant with some big round tables. Good for a large group. Service - 2.5/5. It took awhile to get seated or get our food although the restaurant wasn't packed. Food - 3/5. Everything was good, but nothing special. I don't mind eating here again when I'm in the area.

Francesca S.

Yelp
I've been really enjoying Sichuan food after trying out Tian Fu in Northgate so I decided to try other restaurants as well! I ordered their cumin lamb, which I thought was really well prepared. The meat is juicy and isn't dry, and the cumin gave it a lot of flavor. Sadly, the other two dishes I got: the Chong Chin Chicken and Pea Vines were a little disappointing. The chicken seemed like mostly breading and didn't have the numbing spice that other Sichuan places had. The pea vines were also undercooked and lacked flavor.

Vijayalaxmi M.

Yelp
As I had promised I went here again... and I am updating my review to 5 stars pronto. Ambience - 5 stars Food - 5 stars Customer service - 5 stars Hygiene - 5 stars plus. Pricing - very reasonable We ordered cumin lamb, boiled fish, cabbage dry pot, yang Zhou fried rice . And everything was just so satisfying and as close to what memories I have of Sichuanese cuisine. Yummilicious. My favorite is in this order : Cumin lamb, boiled fish, cabbage dry pot and yangzhou fried rice. Kudos to the owners for maintaining the quality of their restaurant and especially the food. I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality improve despite the trying circumstances. I could hug the chef , I was so happy with the food this time. After being disappointed in having our previous haunts closed, as a foodie I can tell you I will do my part and visit as often as possible to keep a gem of a place like this going. I call upon my fellow foodies to give this a try and not let another good restaurant go away without being appreciated. You won't be disappointed!!! P.S. : Do not forget to order the tea here. It just warms you up and if you are anything like me... you will end up asking for the brand they serve. You have to go here to find which brand ;)

Anne M.

Yelp
This was my first visit to a restaurant of this type. My granddaughter took me and I absolutely loved everything especially the green beans. When I got home, I looked up a recipe on how to make them just like that. And I recognized walnut shrimp, which I had eaten in San Diego. It was just as good here if not better. The service was impeccable and I will be back whenever I come back to state of Washington.

Sa Y.

Yelp
The food is memorable. I missed their food and came back with a friend. For some reason the tofu wasn't as crispy as before but still good. I wish they had wine list, I really do but it looked like demand wasn't there. The service was quick and attentive. The waitstaff ratio were high & plenty of available staffs. The lighting was a bit harsh and no privacy, except the back rooms for bigger groups. They need some plants and ambiant light, but food is good.

Bi W.

Yelp
The waitress was discriminating customers. We waited in the line for 10 mins and not offered a waiting seat, however she was pleasing the customers who just joined behind us and offered seats for them.

Nishad K.

Yelp
I recently visited this place couple of times in bellevue and was impressed by how clean and bright the space was. It was so clean that I felt like I was in a hospital! (But don't worry, I didn't have to wear a mask.) The service was a bit slow due to the crowd but that wasn't a bother for me as I had enough time to enjoy my meal and take in the cozy atmosphere. I ordered the boiled spicy fish fillet which was absolutely delicious! The portion size was large enough to feed a small army and it had just enough garlic for my taste. However, my partner prefers less garlic so you might want to ask for less if you're not a fan of garlic. The dish was also just spicy enough for me but could do with less cabbage/bokchoi. The portion size was good and cost-wise it was decent. Parking wasn't an issue either so I didn't have to park miles away and walk in rain

Faith E.

Yelp
Most of the dishes are tasty, and we have dinner or lunch every week here. We found out that we shouldn't order food that is not spicy. The noodle here is so disappointing, I have a kid who can't eat too spicy food, we tried noodles, but it's soft and melted in the mouth. Definitely overcooked!!! We tried Huang Jin Xiao man tou, last time was spicy, and today it was super oily! Who will cut the man tou and let the oil get to the inside? We ordered Mao Xuewang several times, today was less food inside no beef, and a lot of salty spam!! This is a good restaurant, but I'm hoping to get the food the same delicious and same quality! I hope the owner can see this!

Amy Z.

Yelp
First time going - we ordered Roast Pan Fish with assortments of veggies, toothpick meat skewers with pepper, tofu, etc. All good! Will definitely bring others to come back.

Kin N.

Yelp
Food was unusually greasy on our day of visit. Every dish tastes salty and the rice was dried. Will not repeat.

Serena W.

Yelp
The dishes were all delicious! Portions were huge. Definitely a place to come with friends or family. I was impressed by their menu, almost everything had high quality pictures making it so much easier to know what each item is. So many great options! Service was great. Come check out this place if you like spicy food! There is a big parking lot too.

Flora C.

Yelp
Nice restaurant with clean environment and good service but flavor is really lacking in all three dishes we ordered. Too bad.... I was hoping for another good selection in the area. The other one by Safeway is much better in flavor profile.

Bobbie B.

Yelp
Quality and fresh food, clean , affordable, always open, Menu with pictures Sichuanese cook 10/10

Steve H.

Yelp
This place is our new favorite. Their service were prompt and nice. The food was genuine Chinese Sichuan style. More importantly, the quantity of food was adequate

Michael X.

Yelp
Sichuanese Cuisine is something that I frequently enjoy, and I love checking out new Sichuan restaurants in the Eastside area! Dan Gui was recommended as a place to check out, so we went on a Friday around 7pm and were seated promptly. This is a pretty popular location as soon as we were seated, a sizeable backlog of customers showed up and wait times increased to about 15-20 minutes. If you are stopping by during a meal rush hour, would recommend stopping by early! We tried three delicious dishes, which I'll review down below: Home Style Tofu: Good chunks of tofu soaked in a nice spicy sauce, complemented by the crunchy wood ear mushroom and bell pepper slices. This is interesting to me as I've only had Home Style Tofu dishes that were not spicy at all - they were usually the dish you order to calm the spice levels not sustain it! Definitely the least spicy dish out of the three we ordered. Sichuan Boiled Beef: Whoo, this is a spicy dish - you'll definitely feel the spice burn when enjoying it! As you can see, there is a lot of chili garnish on top of the beef and chili oil just spread everything throughout the dish, creating an intense and spicy but delicious flavor profile. The beef itself is really tender, and soaks up the sauce and oil nicely, Kung Pao Chicken: I'm a fan of a good classic Kung Pao chicken and I would say this hit the spot! There is a good amount of tender chicken in this dish that is complimented texturally by the green onions and crunchy peanuts. The sauce is spicy and has good garlic and dried pepper flavor with a slight sweetness that is pleasing. Overall, spent about $27 for everything you see here - you do get a good amount of food that will definitely will you up for the price! The flavors are pretty tasty here but as a personal hindsight, would try and get just one non-spicy dish as I was feeling the afterburn for a bit. I would recommend you come this place a try - will revisit sometime in the future to try the other options Dan Gui has to offer!

Galina G.

Yelp
I enjoyed the nice portions, flavors and fresh ingredients, although I did think a few items were a bit more salty than desired. I ordered the string beans, nice crispy and flavorful. Chilli Chicken was good with a nice portion. The hot and sour potato was a bit salty but nice portion so I took it home and ate the rest with rice. Stir fried pork was good but portion here was a bit smaller than the rest. Stir fried noodles were salty too so I will avoid going forward. Kind service and nice clean dining area. I am looking forward to trying the clams and frog legs next time.

Yelp
Enjoying Chinese food in the U.S. before I visit family in China in a few days! Satisfying so many of my Chinese food cravings already from this meal. Their dishes are quite authentic! Everything was delicious! I will recommend everything we ordered today and eat them again.

Yelp
We had lunch at this place. Nice environment and very clean restaurant with modern furniture. Menu is rather expansive and really nice. From spicy cumin lamb to Kung pai Chicken. Great soups. Not every dish is authentic but cumin lamb that we ordered was excellent. Servers are very nice and no matter how many times you ask, they are helpful and courteous. Definitely a place to return!

Yelp
Hmm... came here with friend family for early dinner on a Sunday. This place wasn't crowded but we got seated pretty fast. I tried speaking Chinese to them but seem like they prefer English, but that is totally fine with me but when they talk to their coworker they speak Chinese again... lol?! The food was actually good but one of them were too salty. We ordered 7 dishes to try. By far, my favorite was the smoked tea duck. It was very flavorful and crispy. The one that we didn't like was the toothpick lamb. One of the popular dish for Sichuan. It was way too salty so we asked them if they can remake that one for us. They didn't seem willing but did it anyway. I do have to say that this place customer service is pretty bad. Worst then myself when I was working in restaurant industry during school. Like... cocky AF one of the waiter, like we simply ask him some questions and feel that he didn't bother answering or whatsoever. Also, my friend parent. They are older so they prefer to get hot water instead of cold water. Smh... took them forever, We have to remind them. Like bro come on... we are nice people. Don't have to be a jerk. But TBH, Idgaf as well. Even though the food is good, but I care about the customer service as well!!! But, whatever plenty of other Sichuan places around Wa State! :)

Yelp
Very very authentic Sichuan food! I think around East side if not the entire Seattle, DanGui is on the top list. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Fantastic Szechuanese food in Bellevue Get the cumin lamb and spicy fish! Dumplings are also really good. The eggplant dish is very unique as it comes in a pestle and mortar.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place to me and I really enjoyed the food here! The 3.5 stars mean that the food is going to be authentic and good, which it was. We ordered family style toothpick lamb (my usual Sichuan go to dish) and green beans as this is more of a casual local place without one single specialty. The lamb is very tender and flavorful, with all the spices they put in the mix. It was not really numbing spicy which is alright but at least it makes the eating more enjoyable. The green beans were great too, probably tossed in a wok, but while great portions, the green beans were a bit "old" in that there is a lot of fibrous texture that made it a bit hard to chew. Service here is great, with the usual having to flag down a server for any requests, but they proactively refilled our water cups regularly which was a nice touch. This is definitely comparable to LA level of Chinese food, just with a slightly higher price tag.
