Dancin' Crepe

We were immediately greeted as we walked in which we loved. There were only four tables occupied so I’m guessing we came during a slow time. Many items on the menu were unavailable, which was disappointing bc we came for specific items then had to change it up once we scanned the QR menu. However, what we ordered did not disappoint. We were surprised by the pita chips and I ended up ordering more. The fries were the absolute best!! We also ordered the Philly steak egg rolls and strawberry cheesecake crepe. Job well done! I also had the best strawberry mocktail that I’ve ever tasted!! Even though the place wasn’t busy, it took a while to get our food, but everything was fresh so that’s to be expected. We loved our waitress! The only other downside besides the unavailable items was the dirty seating. The upholstery needs a good steaming. I felt uneasy, sitting on “dirt”.

First off I love the vibe , the soft r&b music was very refreshing! Very clean here! Our server Ty was very railed and on point! Very polite! Everyone had a smile a great attitude all the way down the the cook! Darius the cook even came to the table to check and see how everything tasted ! I love that! I had the honey wings breaded! I’m very picky about my wings but these right here were amazing! I also had the strawberry cheesecake crepe! Tbh I don’t like cheese cake but man I tore it up! My friend had the fruity pebbles chicken and waffles d of course I took a bit hehehe! This all the way around was a great experience. I would definitely be coming back again and bringing more people. I really love the customer service and the food coming out at a timely manner. 10/t10

The food was good but the 18% gratuity on ALL dine-in orders that the servers don’t mention before asking for a tip is shady and lowkey dishonest. A large amount of items on the menu were out of stock/machines out of order. We were also the only customers at 6 on a Saturday night, super weird vibes.

Darius assisted me with a quick lunch. The speed of service and delicious jerk chicken crepe. I couldn’t ask for anything more. The venue was clean and beautifully decorated.

We were working an event at the Underground when we noticed this little spot on the corner and stopped in. Definitely glad we did. Our server had great energy and treated us well. The menu is extensive and includes some seafood favorites, but we wanted to stick to crepes since it’s in the name of the restaurant. We wanted to try something sweet and something savory, so I ordered the peach crepe and my friend ordered the jerk chicken. Oh my! They were both off the charts! They even brought us a basket of warm pita bread/chips and it was so delicious that I almost didn’t have need for what I actually ordered. Hope nothing changes about this establishment. It’s pretty dope.

We came from out of state. Our experience was a good one. The food was pretty good. I ordered the oxtail crepe. Also the wings, chicken and shrimp were decent. We had the sex on beach drinks. Did I mention there was live karaoke singing. We all took turns sing including the owner. The owner was personable and sang along with us.

It’s clear that the restaurant itself is new. There are still a few kinks to work out, but the decor is pretty, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Our super cute server Angel was amazing! Overall it was good experience. The seafood rice should be a permanent on the menu. So good!

I was in town and decided to check this spot out. Social media made it look so nice. My in person experience was the complete opposite. I expected so much more. I was there for almost an hour having drinks at the bar. I had one drink and left. What I observed while there was a table with dirty dishes on an unoccupied table. Those dirty dishes remained on the table the entire time I was there. No one thought to clean them. For that reason I was not i treated in eating. There was what appeared to be a storage closet that was completely exposed of all of its contents. The curtain was wide open. I like to support African American businesses I just feel like this one has some work to do. I think it has potential to be an amazing spot.

Yeah good afternoon, I was at Dancing Crepes and believe me I was not dancing!!! I don't have any idea if the food was good or not. I spent $96.00 on drinks and I am not complaining about that. But really I should have been at least given 50% off and the reason that I am saying this is because , WHEN YOUR APPLE WATCHE TELL YOU IT IS TIME TO STAND BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN SITTING THAT LONG then you know it's been awhile. My wife and niece got to there 10 minutes before me, I am talking about 2:30 pm. When we left it was 4:10 and no FOOD!!!!!! I can't explain what the problem was and neither could they. Not trying to be a jackass but that is my experience there. We did order food and that's why I am writing this review. That whole time no food was brought out that we ordered. We were able to get pita chips that were FREE.

We definitely think this is a nice spot for drinks and light bites like a happy hour for sure! Came for Mother's Day weekend lunch on Saturday Staff: Literally so nice! Everyone was pleasant from the moment we walked in to the time we left. Even baby boy who told me that I needed to push the door hard for the bathroom. It gave such a family feel there. Atmosphere & Music: Absolutely beautiful! Love the colors, warmth and the chandeliers. Did wish we could pull the table in closer but it wasn't a big deal. We were cozy. Music was great too! I didn't know what time the DJ was coming so he setup right before we left. We would've stayed but my son was tired. Food: We had the shrimp appetizer I forgot the name of it but they were big and juicy. A little spicy for me but I still liked it! My mom had the lemon drop and loved it. She was enjoying the rest of her day if you get my drift! lol I had the mocktail and it was decent too. The pita bread! Amazing. I could have just ate that fr!!! My baby liked the fries and ate the chicken at home which was good as he's picky. My mom wanted her wings cooked a little more. I wasn't too fond of the crepe. I liked the sauce but the seafood part I just had a different idea in mind for the taste. Nothing was horrible just was okay for the food BUT I will be back to hang out. Felt like I was at my aunties house.

Every time I have tried to visit in the posted hours, it has been closed. I am not sure this place is still doing business.

Let me start by saying I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! I visited this establishment last night, due to staying at a hotel a few steps away. As someone else noted in a review, the staff are very lackluster and in general, seem like they don't want to be there. There is no hospitality. No greetings. No small talk about the menu/specials. As a matter of fact, we weren't even offered menus, nor directed where to even find it. It was simply..."y'all know what yall wanna order?" O_o The lack of customer service is insane! We arrived at 8:50. Places our order shortly thereafter. We were given some pita chips, which I will say, were delicious! After sitting there for an entire order and having NOT received our food, we started looking around... A waitress then comes over to us and says, "I saw y'all looking around and I just wanted to let you know we have a party of 8 and that's what's taking so long with your food." -_-. Now the party she was referring to was not completely there when we arrived, but even still, what the hell does that have to do with the price of tea in China?? And you mean to tell me she only came because she saw us looking around confused? After an HOUR?! And during that time offered us NOTHING! As for the ambiance...it's a nice, cozy spot, but the music was soooo loud as if we were in a club! We could not even have a conversation because the music was soooo loud! We subsequently cancelled the order and just left, but we wasted an hour and a half of our time! Luckily, at 10 pm the food trucks across the street and we ended up being serviced by them...in 8 minutes and significantly less than what I would have spent at this place! This business is not familiar with customer service, which is truly unfortunate. Lastly, I'm just finding out this is associated with Yandy?!? Had I known this was just another spot by a "celebrity," I wouldn't have even come here!

Where do I start. We went in here Sunday around 330 and there so many things not on the menu till I was confused as to why are you open today. I thought they could've been doing grocery runs to restock. It was a lady's birthday that came with me so we stayed and I had some big wigs of the community with me that day. They were disappointed. So while Yandi was out getting her nails done she should have been at the grocery store stocking the menu. The restaurant was empty and it still took forever for the food to come out. The waitress was very nice but she disappeared 30-45 at a time I'm not sure what she could've been doing because they were not crowded. The food was good and we may try her again but Yandi get your stuff together.

Visited Mid July 2023 The restaurant. is very cute, the decorations and chandeliers are very beautiful. But some of the décor budget should've been set aside for place setting, forks and decent cups. There online menu does not match their in-person menu. My husband and I ordered drinks and ended up ordering food also because we were invited to a listening party here. Our bill was $256.00 Why and I was hungry when we left, I'm sure it was the alcohol drinks. What's crazy is Little Mendecess was our server, he did the best he could, he hasn't had proper training. However, you can tell he doesn't take this little gig seriously, his hair is wild!!! My hair is wild most of the time also, however I don't work in the food/ service industry. Having to ask for silverware several times and when it came it was plastic. Nothing against plastic wear but for the money we spent, I was looking for a real fork. I ordered fried shrimp, fries and a side of Brussel sprouts, egg rolls don't remember what my Husband ordered. But the Shrimp, were a little salty. The staff take smoking hookah very serious. above providing service to the Customers. Would I return? No unless I'm invited to an event here and only for drinks.

Five stars! The food, the service, and the music were all on point! I had the brussel sprouts and the seafood crepe and they were both amazing. Our server was also very sweet and was able to give recommendations on some of her faves! Definitely give this place a try!

I dined at Dancin' Crepe on two different occasions. The service was awesome. The food is delicious and the ambiance is awesome. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Customer service, food and drinks on more than 4 visits were good. I've always gone before peak hours and was able to relax and enjoy. However, 2 occasions I went on Sunday (with reservations) and found service was a little slower than usual only because out of town guest(s) was looking to see Yandi (owner) and was holding up service asking when she was coming, can you call her or how they just knew they would get to see her. I truly understand the desire and even wish she was there to greet them... but timing is everything

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!! Do not waste your time!! Very disheartening, Yandy I don't know if you need to pick better family members to help run your establishment but you need to. Today is Sunday, not busy at all, I reserved for 6, we kept having to ask for napkins, my sister sent her chicken wings back twice and then they didn't bring the fries out that went with them and they had to be told, my sister in law didn't eat at all due to waiting to get food last, but to then be told you didn't have Philly egg rolls smh, your server and cook kept horse playing in the kitchen and at the side door next to the bar smh no wonder things kept getting left out. The shrimp was very salty, and we were told majority of the items on the menu were not there so ask first before we picked an item. like we had high hopes especially our first trip to ATL. i did send a message via Instagram to Yandy directly with pictures. please do better.

I had to take a day before I wrote this review because I was torn between my expectations of this place and the reality of comparing it to similar Crepe spots I have experienced across the world. I'm ready. The ambiance and service were really good, we were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. We were got there at 1:30 in the afternoon and it did seem like some of the staff was just waking up . It was almost as if we were early to a dinner spot. We started by ordering the wings, but unfortunately they were still frozen so the waiter offered chicken finger's instead. It was good but I orders the sauce on the side which clearly was forgotten about when at some point as the chicken was definitely tossed in the sauce. The wife ordered the catfish meal and started off praising the presentation and flavor but that was short lived once she got to the middle and started to have a slimy no completely done taste. We sent it back and was a little thrown off to hear the cook felt it was cooked and we were tasting seasoning . She then proceeded to ask for a crepe instead and that was not a crepe. It definitely taste more like a tortilla pan fried, or frozen crepe I am not sure. The waiter was generous enough take the crepe off the hill, yet we still paid for the not so done fish. The diet soda was poured straight from the can which is a plus, but definitely taste stale. The collared greens were flavored really well, it was different from traditional collards but still very tasty. Overall this place had great potential and a nice vibe.

The food is amazing, and the energy is high. Was kind of skeptical, but glad I came in!

Service food and ambiance is out of this world. Drinks are unbelievably good. We spent the day here and had a great time

I discovered this gem last night while my daughter was at a concert. While I still think Atlanta needs so much help, this place gives me faith that we have a chance to make it so much better! The server was one of the owner's daughter and she was fabulous. She was very attentive and very welcoming. My server's mom and co-owner of this establishment, Cynthia, came by to introduce herself and invite me to come back. The food was really good. I had nothing special, wings and fries, but they were both yummy. The atmosphere was so welcoming. The restaurant is right at the entrance to Underground, and I can only hope that great places like this continue to fill this area. The real estate in that area is just wasting away. I plan to frequent Dancin Crepe for every concert I take my daughter to and any time I'm in the area. I can definitely see this place as a great place to hang out and relax for a spell!

To prevent this post from being any longer than it needs to be, let me cut straight to the chase. The restaurant is cute inside. The color scheme is nice and so was the layout. Unfortunately, the service wasn't so great. It wasn't even like they were busy when we went. There were two servers, a bartender, a dj and whoever was working in the back. In addition, a security guard who was doing double duty as the host greeted us outside the restaurant door and asked if we had a reservation. After confirmation from a server, we were allowed inside. Let me not get too far into the weeds, but the service was definitely lacking. There were 4 people in my party and we all felt the same way. In addition, their online menu and their in-house menu wasn't the same. So our initial idea of what we would order, immediately fizzled. Overall, I gave the visit 3-stars and that is because of the food I specifically ordered which was the crab and spinach crepe. I also ordered a side of brussel sprouts. Those two things were absolutely delicious! Guest #2 ordered the shrimp and fries, he disliked the shrimp and said it didn't have any taste. Guests #3 & 4 ordered the seafood egg roll and said while it had a great flavor, was overly salty. One thing we all liked was the seasoned fries. Would I go back? Maybe.

This is not to bash the establishment but to hope they improve, my expectations were high being that this was a reality star business, But was immediately let down when we walked in, 1st off we went on a Saturday around 1pm and were the only ones in there, second they didn't have a few thing on the menu that we wanted so we settled for jerk egg roll, chicken and waffle. which turned out to be decent, the bartender seem to be a family member who was winging it, we ordered a peach martini and he was over there trying his best to make them lol, but however the facility was ran down, the lights in the ceiling were missing parts and the drywall was still showing, the furniture was dirty, the live plant was dead and hadn't been watered in years, the bartender was making drinks, cooking food. taking orders all with the same black gloves on, a group of people came in and walked back out. a homeless man walked in and walked around then left, the floors were scratched up so bad, the glass door were filthy, the counter were it looks like they make orange juice was dirty, definitely need better management and a decent cleaning service, if you're going to attached your name and face to it please make sure it's done right, Either get it together or shut down! Signed a disappointed customer.

We came for Sunday Brunch with reservations at 1pm. It was decorated cutie and we were seated right away. Our service was kind and answered all of our many questions as well as provided recommendations. The DJ played a good mix of music but it could be a little lower to allow conversations without yelling. Our food was hot, delicious, and not a long wait. Free street parking on Sunday is a plus.

Amazing and welcoming staff, delicious food and a pretty solid service time. I enjoyed the live dj and karaoke to end the night. Nia and Ron did a wonderful job! No notes.

Walked in with excitement the look was very nice and calm. Then to scan and see the menu with more than half unavailable. Once we received our beverage we were ready to order with not much to choose from. Placed the order appetizer and entree, and literally waited 20 minutes before the waitress came and said they don't have the jerk chicken roll. Ok I swapped it for seafood roll. Then 5 minutes later another waitress came and brought some pita chips. That was great because were hungry at this point. Our original waitress came back and said no rice, oh my . Salmon broccoli and rice (fries) no good. I was ready to go but my ppl wanted the full experience. Appetizers came out in 30 minutes then 13 minutes entree, we tasted it then packed it to go. The waitress apologized and did mention low on staff. It could have been better

Placed a to go order after my incredible pizza from Dolo's.. only to get treated like absolute shit by the staff and they didn't even make my food bc they didn't have the app... I ordered thru yelp, how much of a rookie are you? Chump ass business.

Great service, food was delicious BUT we could do without the barage of flies and gnats.

The service was awful! We celebrated my friend's 60th birthday and the service, food, and restaurant were all horrible. Reservations were at 5:00PM. Granted some people were late, but we did not receive our food until 7:30/8:00PM. We submitted orders for today on February 20th. Several guest were told that they didn't have items that they pre-ordered. The birthday lady pre-ordered a steak salad and at 7:00 PM she was told that they did not have steak. She was asked if she wanted to substitute with lambchop. I am all for patronizing black businesses, but I will never visit this establishment again. I will never recommend Dancing Crepes to anyone. They really need to thoroughly clean the place also. The DJ was the only reason they got one star. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Get it together or shut down!

I deleted all the pictures I had because my wife was so disappointed. We came up from Charleston, SC for the Hawk\Charlotte game but she was determine to go to Yandy's Dancing Crepes. We went, there were no host so after 15 minutes of standing at the door I went to the bars and asked the people talking behind the bar "do we sit anywhere" she replied "no we'll be there to seat you we're just short staffed" The guy finally came and sat us and told us this was his first night. Obviously he wasn't trained well. We sat there waiting for someone to take our order and I guess the people at another table noticed and asked "did anyone take your order" we said no. She went and found someone for us so I guess she was connected some how. Yandy Smith walks in and takes a bow and I'm sitting there like I would be doing whatever I can to make these angry faces smile but no she tells the DJ to crank the music up then start twerking and dancing with her entourage. If you want a club build a club. If you need a tax write off find a cause. If it's on your heart to give back do for the homeless. This restaurant will not be open this time next year so tank it now. If you are 25 and under this is the place for you.

My wife had a craving for creeps this morning and we found the Dancing Crepe. The food was absolutely amazing and beautifully presented. Amazing subtle flavors really made it special. The seasoned pita chips to start the meal were unique and flavorful. Great service!

Me and my girlfriends went to Dancing Crepe this past Sunday. We were unaware of the special event that was happening, so there really wasn't any room available but the owner, Yandy Smith made special arrangements to get 8 more people in. We appreciate that since we all haven't been together since the pandemic. The hospitality, atmosphere , the spoken words and music was great. The waitress was fun and friendly and I appreciate her recommending to me the a French Toast. I really love it. It was just the way I like it, Sweet, the bread soft and not to thick. I will go back.

I went to Dancin Crepe for the first time last week and had a great time! Tiara the bartender was very kind, professional and gracious. She did an excellent job! I ordered Fried Green Tomatoes, and they were excellent. I waited over 40 minutes for my 2 appetizers as noted in this review. However, the Cauliflower Bites (not bites, huge florets) were not too good. However, the batter for the bites needs to be examined and changed. Also, the bites could have been fried a little longer because the batter was still soggy?! Finally, the smoke from the Kitchen area made its away to the main area. When I left,. I smelled like fried food and had to immediately change my clothes before going elsewhere Lol! I would only ask management to improve the Cauliflower Bites, Smoke Vents, and try to get out the food faster. Overall, I had a great time though. The music and environment were good! Jeff

What can I say about dancing crepes. Cute Space nevertheless I am from BK New York and I expected things to be a bit more organized & I wanted to support knowing that Yandy was here doing her thing. Space wise it's small. Food was good but took forever Drink selection was very limited yet the waiter /host/ Customer service provided many cool options. I think his name is Ron, he was great at keeping us at ease and reassuring us that our food was coming, I recognized the NY. In him immediately. He played host, waiter, security and customer service for a few unruly patrons who tried to change the vibe. He was doing 5 different jobs without busting a sweat. He was on his Ps and Qs totally on point like the business bared his name. I rate his service five+ stars he needs to be promoted. Everyone in my party felt the same. We appreciated his superb customer care. Because without it. We would have cancelled our orders and left. For that reason alone I will return again. I will also change my rating pending the next time I patronize this business in a few weeks. I will also blog about it via social media. Until next time I am wishing the business success yet there are some things that needs improvement.

WASN'T HAPPY!!!! I really thought Yandy's restaurant was going to a hit, but it wasn't! Waiting for food for 2 hours, had one waiter for the entire restaurant to RON, he was doing the best he could with what he had. amazing. Yandy need to clean her restaurant, remove all those items from the table and get new ones, the bathroom was nasty.

Ms Yandy Harris Smith you did your thing the food is amazing and the staff are perfectionist my friend and I came to lunch for her birthday, thought it was nothing special . the staff brought her crepe with a birthday candle on top and played the birthday song it was an amazing experience thanks to Rajean, the best crepe I have ever eaten and the hennessy ribs and sefood rolls all i can say is it exceeded ..... It's a very nice environment and the music was cool .. We had a party of 20 and had already pre ordered our food!! We got there at 5 still didn't have all food at 830 and we had people traveling from Alabama for my mother birthday dinner!! Took over a hour to get the two towers of cocktails we ordered ...

I had the pleasure of having my birthday party at Dancing Crepes and it was the most epic night ever! The DJ was amazing, the staff was courteous to all my guests, and the owner even stayed and gave me her great energy. And might I mention, THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! I absolutely recommend this restaurant and will be back soon.

The Food was so well Season and Good, the Drinks were on point, and the Hospitality was heart felt, it was like we were Truly Appreciated. You must stop in if you are ever around or near. You wont be disappointed, and we came all them way from Brooklyn New York.

I really like the presentation of the food and the food was very good. The attention was courteous, and timely. The place is beautiful and clean , and they play very nice R&B music while you eat.

The tacos are only available on Taco Tuesday. Sorry guys! I wanted to love this placed because I like Yandy and I've seen her post video's of people enjoying the food. Unfortunately I didn't have the same experience. I ordered the wings & fries. The first batch of wings that came out were so big I was afraid to eat them. I told the waitress I didn't want them so she offered to make me another batch and she said they do have smaller wings. The second batch of wings that came out were extra small. It was as if they weren't fed b/c the first set of wings ate all the food. The second batch of wings were smaller than any wing I've ever seen. They looked like they were for toddlers to be honest. I felt like I was eating a baby chicken. Also, I asked for naked wings and when the wings came out they were extra greasy and looked like bbq wings. I feel like that was from the grease they were fried in. It probably should've been changed a long time ago.

Pretty great little place in Atlanta! The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was very chill! The Maple Banana Walnut Crepe was delicious! Definitely check it. I would've given 5/5 if the beverage menu was a little more extensive but otherwise a spot worth your time!

omg I don't know where to begin tonight was my 34th Birthday I really love the atmosphere the restaurant decor is beautiful the food was delicious only change I would make convey to customers any event that would alter the menu! Yandy the most humbling person I ever meet her humility and transparent is phenomenal.. Yandy is big on customer service and very passionate about her business it's was minor hiccups and she got in her car drove 45mins to come rectify the Situation and her business partner miss Cynthia it's about her business like a suite and tie! I love it I took some food to go for a friend that was sick she text me like friend Ong this Jerk crepe is boom! believe the hype Yandi restaurant is lit I will be back soon love Tamara(the birthday girl) Yandy is my new sister n Christ blessings beautiful WOG

Great hidden brunch spot in the revitalized Underground! It was really empty which was good for us. I'm sure it will get busier since they just opened. Waiters need to be a more knowledgeable about the menu. Food was great!

Was in Atlanta yesterday for a quick day trip. After waiting for Frost Bistro to open only to find out, they were closed, and we decided to go to Dancin Crepes. First, there was no hostess to greet or seat us. We stood at the door for 10 minutes. Then, they seat 4 ppl at this tiny booth. We waited an additional 20 minutes for a server to take our order. The server comes to the table with water and tells us the wait for food was an hour or more. Mind you, it was empty in the restaurant. How is the kitchen backed up??? We decided to stay since we were seated. She did move us to a bigger table. I ordered seafood egg rolls. The egg rolls were good, but the wait was ridiculous. To be newly opened, the restaurant looked like it had been open for 20 years...upholstery on the seats dirty, glass flower/candle on the table was dirty, floor need sweeping and bathroom was dirty. I expected more. For it to be so small, the music was too loud. Dancin Crepes won't last long.

Oh how I hate to write this .... but first there was no hostess when we walked in, even though the gentleman we ended up with was polite and great. Then I noticed the booth we sat in was crumby and had food stuck to certain parts of it, not ideal for a food service place . Then i had to wash my hands and the bathroom door wouldn't lock and the fixtures were not up to date and it wasn't clean. Next we were told that what I wanted wasn't available on the menu and it was as the main reason I went. My girlfriend ordered the ribs and I ended up getting the seafood crepe. The ribs had came with no sides so we ordered brussels sprouts. While waiting we received fried triangles as bread and my napkin had hair on it and the set I received after had a rusted fork. My girlfriend's ribs came out first and then her brussels sprouts both were hot and she was waiting on my plate but if she waited any longer her food would've been cold. I eventually received my food and I can tell that it was kind of just thrown together and stuffed in the crepe. I didn't even eat half of it. Also, I'm not sure what the rule is for hair nets in the kitchen but the one woman who was coming in and out did not have a hair net on at all and was serving food. Overall the music and the ambiance was cool but execution could've been better.
