Dancing Crab

We tried this place and absolutely loved it. The food was fresh and delicious. We got some drinks and clusters of snow crab with shrimp and muscles. The sauce was so good. Our waitress Gabriela made sure we were taken care of every minute. Exceptional customer service made the dining experience even better. Can't wait to come back!!

We had an absolutely fantastic meal the other night at The Dancing Crab! The food was good but what really elevated the entire experience was our server, Damian. ​Damian was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He offered excellent recommendations, kept our drinks perfectly topped up, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever hovering. His timing was impeccable—he cleared plates quickly and brought out our next courses right when we were ready. ​The service Damian provided was truly five-star. He genuinely seemed to enjoy his job and made us feel welcome and well-cared for from the moment we sat down until we left. Give this man a raise! We will absolutely be back, and we'll definitely be asking to sit in Damian's section

Nice vibes. Great family oriented music at a nice settled volume. Went to eat with my son our waitress was GABBY. She was very attentive very patient. I ordered the full pick two combo she lead me to the lunch special which was the same combo half priced during lunch ours (loved that)! My son enjoyed every bit of his snow crab and mussels.

Yall!! This place was a 10/10. The food was hot and fresh. Everything is well seasoned and our waitress Gabriela went above and beyond on the service. The shimp is sooo good! Will be back.

Food was yummy. Our server Damian made some great suggestions for us to try. He was friendly and provided great service. We went on a Sunday and it wasn’t too busy and got seated pretty quickly with our family.

Great atmosphere, great food, and great service. Our server Gabriela was excellent, she recommended me the best combo deal for us and kept our drinks coming. Overall a good time with some good food.

I enjoyed lunch at dancing crab! We got quickly seated and serviced. Essence was great and attentive! Once ordered it didn't take long for our food to come. The rice and seafood were 10/10!! I got all the sauces in my seafood bag. They only had Pepsi products which was a little disappointing this restaurant does have bar seating, booth and tables. The restaurant was pretty quiet and peaceful. Hope this helps

I was excited to try this place! And from the start everything started going downhill. I got a lychee Martini and it was horrid it was all vodka no lychee flavor at all tasted like a vodka soda. Okay ignored that send it back... the shrimp lo mein was so good and the black mussels were delicious as well. The fried shrimp basket wasn't the best and I also got wings and they were okay. Until there was a dark thick hair on them so yeah that just messed up my whole experience we all stopped eating asked for the check and left. I probably won't be back here because, one, the bartender doesn't know how to mix and strain a lychee martini and well the hair situation on my wings (looked like beard hair)

We ordered chicken tenders with Cajun fries, shrimp fried rice, chicken lo mein, general tso, chicken and veggies and a daily special. It was a lot of food for sure! The meal alone with rice was more than enough food. We took to boxes full of food home. Their drink machine was down for one of our drinks but still gave free refills with cans. Our waitress was very kind. It was a bit hot in the restaurant and there was not a changing table for baby. All in all great place.

Where do I begin, the service was good waitress gave information about the restaurant. Atmosphere was chill good vibe, and the food! The food was amazing and full of flavor, not dry. Ordered Crawfish, sausage, and corn it was our first time date night. Going back for sure.

The jumbo fried shrimp & fries were on point! The Texas Special was delicious. Snow Crabs legs were cooked to perfection. The Special Fried Rice was delicious. The service was great! The restaurant decor is beautiful We definitely will be returning soon!

I called to order grilled fish but during my conversation with the person on the other end of the phone, I realized I needed to physical home there and place my order. She didn't seem knowledgeable about the menu and what the restaurant offers. Upon entry, there was no one at the entrance to greet their patrons. I only waited about 2-3 minutes for someone to approach me. I soon found out that this restaurant does not offer grilled anything, that was a bummer. I didn't want to go anywhere else so I opted to order fried shrimps and sweet potato waffle fries. I went home and my son and I both ate from the same serving which says a lot. The shrimps were huge and nicely seasoned and the sweet potato fries...so fresh and yummy. This restaurant is big, very clean and the atmosphere was friendly and good for any occasion.

I LOVE coming here especially as soon as they open when the food is fresh. The music is always vibing and everything is hot and fresh. The bathrooms are always clean and I always see my favorite waiter when I go working hard and maintaining great customer service. She's a short girl with dreadlocks and has been there for a while. The bag specials are reasonable prices and the Dungeness crab is juicy! Try it with the dancing special sauce! Thank me later...

This was my first time trying this restaurant. I initially wanted some boiled shrimp (that I am not supposed to be eating anyway). So I probably shouldn't have been here at all. But hey, that's my business - we all give in at some point in our lives. So, I ordered the lemon pepper wings and Cajun fries. I have never seen lemon pepper wings look like this - in all of my life. They were super underwhelming and I'm not even really sure what the taste was. There were bits of garlic on them. Well, chunks, I should say. They were terrible. I'm only giving this place two stars because the ambience is really nice. I think the place is decorated nicely for the times and for the appeal of their intended demographic. I do wanna try their drinks but I will NEVER have those wings again.

First time here and we're definitely coming back! We had the choose your own boil and chose crab, crawfish, and shrimp in the Dancing Special seasoning. Omg y'all that's some bomb seasoning! Also the crab was juicy and so easy to peel! The vibe and interior is really nice. They got some great music (not always kid friendly for some reason). The only complaint is it did take a little bit for someone to wait on us but after taking our drink order he stayed attentive. Definitely recommend trying it out at least

The food was great. I came here with my family and we all annoyed the food. The service was good too. Only problem was that it took a few minutes to get our drink order. Alcohol drinks stopped at 9. We were upset about that. The ambiance was great overall.

We had Ty last night, he was ok. Didn't really catch a vibe with him. But I still tipped him well. The food was great. I got 1lb Dungeness crab with 1/2 lb of shrimp came with 2 corn 3 potatoes in dancing special fire heat. Ty was pretty spot on about the heat. Wouldn't consider this fire maybe slight nose dripper. But it was enough heat to enjoy it. The crab was cooked perfectly, best cook I've had in Houston. Bf got Mongolian Beef his only complaint it was spicy and he wasn't expecting that. The bathrooms need some attention, especially for how slow it was last night.

I loved vibes, the decor was super cool and creative. I was greeted as soon as I entered the restaurant and seated. 10-15 mins went by and that's when the hostess walked by and I had to let her know the server hasn't asked me if I wanted a drink or nothing. She then went to tell the server they was serving my area m en he came by and asked as if he didn't see. I ordered one of the seafood bundles Crawfish, shrimp and crab. The crawfish was not fresh, shrimp was ok and the crab was ok. I also ordered Edamame they were alright. I'm disappointed bc I was very excited and just knew this place was gonna be my go to for seafood boils. I will be back to try other Items on the menu.

The food was amazing I was very satisfied with the flavors , yes this is my To go plate but highly would recommend this place rather than DANS SEAFOOD. The service was good, the place was sort of empty but food was spot on . The energy wasn't as high, to you know make the customers really like the place , maybe add some common music people like now a days . But 100% would recommend this to any of my friends !

Crawfish is over priced for frozen crawfish We waited for someone to sit us just to have everyone walk by us like we weren't their.

Our go to on the east side. I'll have a better review once crawfish season start. But as of now, boiled shrimp bags is good, and fried rice is good

Ordered last night 5 lbs of boiled crawfish (included 5 corn and 5 potatoes) and 2 lbs of boiled shrimp. The shrimp was sooo good and so was the corn and potatoes but the crawfish were HORRIBLE! When I tell you please don't buy crawfish from here! Matter of fact they need to not sell boiled crawfish if you don't know what your doing! The shell was hard and difficult to peel! I ate a few and tasted the grit because they obviously were not cleaned! Some of them tasted undercooked which in my whole life I have never had RAW BOILED CRAWFISH! They just pour the seasoning on top of the crawfish when you are suppose to boil them in seasoning! OMG! My stomach started to hurt so bad so maybe I got food poisoning but I threw the whole aluminum pan in a random dumpster thank goodness for Pepto! So mad I spent all that money to get sick!

So we saw this place being built and finally we decided to try it. Went about five o'clock and had no problem finding a table. The restaurant looked very nice and well decorated. Our server "Camilla" was excellent. We ordered drinks, I had the 19 hands Chardonnay for 7 bucks not bad and a nice pour. My husband had Jim Beam and diet Pepsi, also 7 bucks. We ordered crab puffs, two clusters of snow crabs and a pound of shrimp. Cajun seasoning medium spice and it was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole dining experience and we will be back. Highly recommend this place.

I would like to start by giving them their props. The flavor of their boil is delicious and the spicy is actually spicy so that's nice but their unnecessarily over priced and I genuinely believe they didn't give me an actual half pound of anything. Also my one cluster of crab legs which was 18$ had to claws so that was a bust. They give you like 2/3 corn automatically which is nice because it's not normal but I paid almost 60$ for nowhere near 60$ worth of food. I just moved here so I figured I'd try them but i'll continue to go to PINCHIN CRAB IN BAYTOWN they have THE BEST SEAFOOD BOIL i've ever had and for 40 something dollars.

It's really tasty here I usually have a good experience except for the last time I came here servers sat my family down and never returned for our order as we patiently sat for about 40 minutes until I asked who was in charge of our table there were only there were 6 tables that were in use at the moment and a whole lotta workers just standing around for this to happen idk so just in case this happens to y'all call the server dont wait ! Also if you order garlic butter flavor no matter what spice you select they will not put any spice to it they just bring you garlic unsalted butter so if you want flavor select the all above seasoning and I would say that flavor is hot the environment is beautiful ,clean even the RR

First time at Dancing Crab. It was excellent . The atmosphere was relaxing, the food was great & the service was friendly.

OMG where do I start...maybe with Tyler...he was the absolute greatest waiter/bartender. The food was great. The music was great. Give the DJ a raise. Thanks for always serving hot and tasty foods
