Dancing Fox Winery & Brewery

This restaurant has everything! Ambiance, wonderful food, excellent service! My husband and I have been going here for several years. It is one of our very favorites! It's such a wonderful dining experience. Brunch on Sundays is delicious, lunch serves a variety of choices, dinner is also delightful. Today we discovered that they make their own breads, my husband had a cranberry turkey sandwich and the bread that it was served on was wonderful. They serve an amazing bread pudding dessert, homemade of course, worth going here just for this. The owner Greg is engaging and gave us the history of his wonderful restaurant. The decor is delightful to take in, many paintings, tapestries, beautiful chandeliers, painted walls, even the bathrooms have hand painted walls. I highly recommend visiting The Dancing Fox.

We came in on an early Saturday afternoon. Not too busy and seated quickly. However, first Contact after sitting down was literally more than 6 minutes. Anyway... We ordered a pizza and it was cooked about a minute too long, but it was delicious otherwise. The food at the other tables looked delicious, too. Overall, good food, slow service.

We were just passing through from out of state following our elopement and this place looked too good to pass up. Upon entering, we were greeted by very friendly staff. It was later in the night, but we caught no grief from staff, but instead super friendly and wonderful service. Following our order, we were told the story behind the place and encouraged to explore and look around at the art. We are so happy we came here! We kept it simple and ordered one of their pizzas to share and it was amazing! We adored the atmosphere, the staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious. All in all, we both would recommend this place.

We visited here for lunch after a morning of wine tasting. It’s a wonderful place right in downtown Lodi. The decor is old world charm so you’ll get a kick out of noticing all the different details. The service was impeccable. We were seated immediately and our waiter was attentive and helpful. I ordered the fish and chips and he ordered the chicken pineapple pizza. The fish was delicious. The batter was light and crispy. The fries are amazing. I’m still thinking about them. He said his pizza was delicious as well. I ordered the Foxes Delight for dessert. After him telling me he doesn’t eat dessert he proceeds to eat half. It was truly yummy. We will definitely be back.

Been wanting to come here for awhile. Everyone says it’s good. Not so much. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger. It was disappointing to say the least. They sautéed the mushroom’s in red wine. Ewww. My burger bun was soaked with red wine. Gross . Nice and soggy. Who the heck cooks mushrooms in red. Should be a little bit of white wine and butter and garlic. The wine should not be what you taste. Not a fan. Do better.

Carne asada tacos, brick oven taratata pizza, and sliders for the kids. This isn't a kid friendly place unless your kids sit still. The atmosphere is geared more towards date nights. We chose it because we were meeting as a family for a wedding. I apologize to the staff for some of our rambunctious members. Despite our big group the server did his best to serve us. They have one vegan meal and can turn the pizza into dairy free versions. But my dad said the ribs are the best. Perfectly cooked. They are lacking in gluten-free but can make a few things safely.

Second time here after a visit a few years ago where my daughter and I weren’t treated very well. They have redeemed themselves in our eyes today! They were so friendly and gracious and the food was fabulous! We had the margarita pizzas and mandarin salads and key lime pie for dessert. Jason was our server and he was on point the whole time. I don’t get back to Lodi very often but when I do, it’s important to me to have a special time with my girl and they made this lunch special with their great customer service and positive attitude. Will be back next time.

This so call winery is actually located in down town Lodi, no vineyard or wine cellar near by. Parking will be tough during the weekend or holiday. There are many parking lot and street perking space available but need to be careful the 90 minuets time limit on street parking. We arrived around 12:30 for lunch on a sunny but cold and very windy Tuesday for lunch, we waited for 30 minutes for a indoor seating of 4 of us. I think we will try the outdoor seating next time. Soon as we situated in our table, our order of drinks and food quickly taken. Drinks arrived very soon follow by our food in about 10 minutes. All the dishes we ordered today was so wonderful. The pizza, the salad, the sandwich and the fish and chips. There fries are second to none, we have to fight over the last few pieces of them. We will order extra side order of fries for sure. We also bought extra two bottles of wine we had today, It will be super nice for the coming summer, We will be back for sure to they their dinner menu.

I've been here several times since it is my friend's favorite place in town. I've always gotten the same sandwich because I'm kind of picky and honestly, just don't want to get a burger or a pizza. So we ended up here again today after striking out at several places trying to get some refreshing cider. Well they don't have that here either, so we gave up and just ordered beer and wine, and decided to get some appetizers. We didn't realize how big the portions were! We just thought they'd be small or modest sized, but they were big enough to share between a few people. We had the hummus, the pretzel, and the calamari. Omg everything was unbelievable. The hummus was made the way I like (which you really don't see much anymore these days) which is a nice consistency and flavor and not a semi dry thick paste with too much tartness (this seems to be the way everyone makes it these days), served with plush house made pita, and crisp refreshing veggies in abundance. The calamari was a generous portion of thick long strips with perfectly crisp breading. I was on the edge about getting them because of the price but I can say that it is well worth it. And the cocktail sauce was perfect. Mild, with just the right amount of spice. They actually understand subtle flavor, instead of extra spicy for no reason just because. The pretzel was pretty standard so definitely nothing to complain about. My friend likes the mustard and I like the cheese sauce and we were both happy with what we got. Then dessert. She went with a sorbet which she said had a very good flavor, and the serving size of the scoop was generous. I went with the bread pudding and it was one of the best things I've had in recent memory. And the portion was huge. That could have been my entire meal and I probably wouldn't have finished it. We finished up and as I am here writing this review a few hours later, I am still stuffed to the brim. Yeah we splurged and didn't finish everything, but getting appetizers is definitely the way to go here. Oh and let's not forget about the service. Very attentive without being invasive. Only one star removed because of the regular menu items lack in comparison to the appetizers, and because the room is so acoustically reflective that it gets incredibly loud very easily and my ears are still ringing. It was very hard to have a conversation with the person sitting in front of me because of this. The acoustics should definitely be addressed, it must be hell for the people that have to work there.

The Dancing Fox was such a delicious lunch option for my guest and I. The sliders were surprisingly clean and larger than expected. The pizza was my favorite dish. The marinara sauce was perfect. To drink, my guest ordered the pear cider, and I had the sparking raspberry wine. Both were sweet and pleasant. The food was scrumptious, but I was a bit disappointed with the service. I feel that if the customer service would have been a little more attentive, it would have been over the top for us. With that said, the food and drinks were top tier so I will be coming back for more.

Another spot I've been wanting to try for a minute. Arrived at @dancingfoxwinery for some lunch at around 1:30. No wait only a few patrons inside and out. We started off with some deliciously fresh bruschetta. I ordered a Scrimshaw brew from the North Coast Brewery in Fort Bragg to wash it down. Cold, light , and refreshing! I had 2 thank you. They make their own bread here I heard. Good solid menu! I chose the mushroom Swiss burger and it was made to order with a great amount of cheese, red onions and mushrooms. Schmack! I added some pickles that were on the side. One of the best versions I've ever had! The burger was fresh and tasty and the house made bun was perfect. We shared the bread pudding which was a very good choice also. I'd definitely come again and might check their brunch on any given Sunday! I heard good things and now you have too. Shekkitout!

We came on Sunday, table for 5. It was about 1 hr wait. Service was ok, it took a while for us to get a server to serve us some water. We ordered a bottle of wine and shared the Orion pizza, wings, southwest salad, tri tip sandwich & fish and chips. It took about 15 minutes for us to receive our bottle of wine. The food was ok, wings were overcooked and dry, Orion pizza wasn't anything special, tri tip sandwich was dry too. We did enjoy the fish and chips and southwest salad. But I probably won't be back, service wasn't great.

While I have been here for the Sunday brunch quite a few times this was my first experience coming in for dinner. I will say I was pleasantly surprised, we started off with the buffalo wings to share and the crunch was unbelievable. The ranch that came on the side was really well done and clearly homemade. Then we got the pizza which had chorizo as well as some other Mexican inspired toppings, I was worried this would be heavy however it was absolutely delightful. All the flavors were perfectly balanced, and not overly spicy at all. We completed dinner with The Fox's Delight dessert, I will admit it was a little challenging to eat with the hard peanut brittle topping and the frozen ice cream but if you're willing to work out it a little it was a decadent amazing little treat it was extremely full of flavor. I also can't forget to mention the flavored champagne which paired very nicely with dessert. I myself got a raspberry champagne. It was amazing. The atmosphere itself was very romantic and perfect for couples and the service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend for couples!

I rarely visit the Lodi area and when I do, it is usually to enjoy a day out enjoying some of the award-winning vineyards for some wine tasting. So to make sure I didn't get too saturated on wine alone, I took matters in my own hands by indulging in some hearty comfort food for lunch. This takes me none other to "The Dancing Fox Winery & Brewery". This place is definitely an all-in-one business combining a lunch/dinner restaurant, a brewery, and a dedicated wine tasting area, all under one roof. Located at the corner of W. Lodi Ave and Church St. in the heart of downtown Lodi, the Dancing Fox has been in operation ever since 2009. And what makes this location unique is that brick building at 203 S. School St. was built turning the turn of the 20th century. I absolutely love historic buildings like this and the strong attention to detail is very apparent everywhere you look. Just about everything inside of this place screams vintage as if you've taken a step back to the 1930's. I also wanted to add that the entire layout and aesthetics of this place is very well executed. You will notice a very generous amount of indoor seating for small and larger parties. The bar has that rustic speakeasy look with hundreds of their wines being showcased. There is also a beer station that serves up delicious craft beers; both local and out-of-state. There is also a very charming outdoor patio; perfect for the more comfortable Central Valley afternoons and evenings. But the real winner here is a hallway that takes you to the dedicated wine tasting area which is separate from the actual restaurant with no distractions. This is where I specifically did tastings of their reds ($15 for 5 tastings but complimentary if you purchase a bottle). I tried their 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon, Barbera, Cabernet Franc, Old Vine Zinfandel, and Petite Sirah. After giving it some thought, I finally settled with the Old Vine Zinfandel (priced at $39 + tax) which had a really amazing smooth bold texture to it. And luckily, after my final tasting, our table was ready. Since this gave me plenty of time to look at their food menu. I started off by ordering an appetizer of their "Bruschetta" (for $13). This was five individual baguettes complete with garlic, tomato, basil, feta cheese, and glazed balsamic reduction. My main dish was their "Tri Tip Green Chili Melt" (for $17). This consisted of smoked tri-tip complete with green chilies, cheddar cheese, and spicy aioli complete with toasted jalapeño sourdough bread. I opted for a side salad with Italian dressing and settled with iced water (as I knew I'd be drinking more wine later). Our Bruschetta arrived first and I've got to say, this was absolutely amazing (5/5). The presentation was on point while they gave us a very large amount; enough to split between our entire party. As for my sandwich, this also hit the spot. And to those of you asking if this is a "hot/spicy" taste, it actually wasn't as spicy as I thought. They didn't skimp on the tri-tip while the aioli mayo with melted cheese really pulled everything together perfectly. This sandwich was so filling, I was only able to finish half of it. But just as the Bruschetta was delicious, so was my sandwich (5/5). I have to say, "The Dancing Fox" far exceeded my expectations. The gentleman that poured our wine (while we were waiting for our table was knowledgeable & friendly) while our server took care of us from start to finish. Best of all, the prices here don't break the bank. With the elaborate and over-the-top interior, excellent service, and perfect ambiance, I am giving The Dancing Fox a perfect five-star rating. A must try if you're in the Lodi area.

The best fries this side of the Mississippi. But the Heinze ketchup they can take back. This restaurant makes a fabulous blue cheese dressing. Perfect for these awesome fries. .. Finish your meal with the bread pudding, they give you enough to take some home. Make it your breakfast the next morning.

Can't top the food, service, ambiance, and of course the wine and beer selections!! We were a party of 3, sitting outside for lunch on the day of the Street Faire. We have been here before, and always enjoyed our visits! This time, it was just as lovely! I had the Humus Wrap - great flavors and healthy veggies in a wrap. Dessert was Key Lime Pie for me and Bread Pudding for the other diners. My pie was partly frozen and tasted like real limes. So refreshing! And it looked beautiful! My husband can't get over the yummy Bread Pudding with the fruit topping. We will definitely be back!

Their Housemade vegan burger is 100% my favorite. I'm not vegan but you don't have to be to enjoy this burger. It's hearty and very nutty (my favorite part) and it's just as good cold when leftover. I opted for no aioli and I swapped the jack cheese for feta. Next time I will add avocado! Oh and did I mention those parsley fries? Perfectly light and crispy! This burger is a must try!!

Such a cute winery & brewery. It's a perfect spot for lunch and drinks. The pear cider is a must!

I came here with my Dad- delicious food! I got a wrap and enjoyed it greatly! It was my first time and Lodi and we'd heard great things about this restaurant so we decided to try! Service was amazing. Friendly and attentive staff. Ambiance could be a hair better inside. Looks a little dated in there. But that's just my opinion. Would definitely recommend and come back!

The ambience is wonderful and the food is delicious. Service was on point . Bathroom was clean. We visited in December and yet I'm still dreaming about how amazing there cherry mulled wine was. We will be back around the holidays again for sure for that amazing wine.

Dancing Fox is consistently good food, good atmosphere and good wine. This is my first review and I've been going there for years without ever having a bad experience. The plates of food are large (I usually share) and always delicious. I usually order the Ortega tri tip sandwich or the hummus wrap. Amazing! My husband prefers their beer tasting while I usually do the wine tasting. I love that we have both options! The servers are always polite and attentive. My only wish is that they would take reservations again as sometimes the wait time can get long but we always seem to get in pretty quickly, even if we opt to sit at the bar. Recently, I took a large group of friends from out of town, for a bridal lunch. Everyone raved about the food, wine and service!

Great food with friends and good service! We got there just before opening, so we were sat immediately. They get crowded, so plan for that. I had a Rueben that was unique and very tasty. The salad that came with was also really good. The ambiance is great and we will return!

First time I have been here, it was a beautiful day and we were able to get a table outside on the front. Small on the front side but lovely with all the greenery. They have a decent size menu, lots of things sounded good. I opted for the Cranberry Walnut Salad and the other diner enjoyed a lettuce wrapped Stampede Burger. I asked for their sweetest white wine and the server suggested the Muscat. The wine was marginal, however the food and the service was very good. Loved all the flavors in the salad and the grilled chicken. I didn't eat the burger but she said it was delicious and she had ordered it before. I was trying to be good but we were doing a late birthday celebration so she ordered the seasonal Bread Pudding all I can say is amazing it was delicious moist with caramel, blackberries and blueberries with whipped cream.... I love their selection of wines and beers. Their sparkling Almond is my favorite definitely on the sweet side. I love sweet wines and they have at least 3-5 sweet wines; which is more than any place I can think of as most only have 1 sweet at most. I'd give 5 on their wines and how they're able to offer a selection many can be happy with. Unfortunately their food is a hit and miss. I have been both for lunch and dinner. I liked their lunch burger and chicken sandwich. I'd definitely go back for their lunch items. They also need to update menus as some items aren't available. Dinner however, is "semi" house made. They use a mixture of frozen items and their in house made items aren't the best either. Pretzel is made in house and uses too much baking soda or something bitter? They have a seafood pasta that is mediocre and their baby back ribs were rubbery. The server mentioned to try the pretzel as the other appetizers weren't made in house. Maybe they should focus on what they do really well for dinner as their menu is massive! Definitely will return and hopefully can try their breakfast buffet. Service is always good. The gentleman is very helpful at making suggestions but sometimes forgetful. Everyone can have an off day which is okay. The patio is so cute and great for a lunch date or brunch.

Came here for a late lunch around 2, when we got in it was full. The guy said it would be 30 min and took down our number, said we would receive a text when our table was ready. He told us there was complimentary wine for those who were waiting for their seats in the back. We stayed there for 20 min then decided to walk around outside. After realizing it had been past 30 min we walked back and we were greeted as new customers and sat down right away. So did they forget about us originally? Who knows. Ordered the Greek chicken salad. It was better than I expected. Definitely recommending.

My first time here. In the fun downtown area of Lodi. We were seated right away in the outdoor patio area. Very serene with Italian decor and a fountain. Our server was excellent. Didn't catch his name, but he had lots of ink. Not a problem at all just trying to describe him. Very nice. Food was good. Didn't try any wines.

There's so many great things on their menu. It's hard to decide what to have! I love their turkey cranberry sandwiches their focaccia, Their walnut salad is wonderful and so is there Caesar salad with chicken!! They have great desserts as well and they have a Sunday brunch that is absolutely delicious!!

Surprisingly delicious! Great atmosphere and service! Usually hate bread pudding but theirs is very good. Brunch has variety, caffe just pass.

I should probably give them another chance to try something else on the menu. I was super excited about trying the brunch menu out but disappointed with some of the items being cold. That was a bummer: the best part about the brunch option was the omelette, loved being able to customize. Service was good and enjoyed the seating outside

We had lunch here today (4/21/24). My wife had the Veggie Wrap, I had the house made on a rye bun. Both were excellent. I'm not a veggie sandwich fan but I tasted my wife's wrap an Wow was it good. The brat was very meaty and tasty; ordinarily I would have said the bun was too much but it was so good I didn't mind. We'll be back.

I'm impressed with each visit. The food quality is fantastic and always delicious. Nice inside. I would describe it as rustic & cozy with a touch of elegance. I love the Almond Sparkling wine and so far my favorite dinner dish is the Stuffed Pesto Chicken. Services is good and timely.

My high school friends and I decided to have a reunion in a city central to our present locations. The Yelp reviews attracted us to Dancing Fox Winery and it didn't disappoint. When we came in, they had a brunch buffet going, much to our pleasant surprise. it was all very good food and the server was attentive and very informative. What a successful reunion!

Tried this restaurant for the second time. First time the waiter was really rude and menu was limited. Unfortunately while giving it a second chance we came across another super rude waiter who was not tolerating any jokes or conversation other than taking our order. It was extremely unnerving. Luckily he chose to switch out and we received amazing service from an older Latino gentleman who smiles and chatted with us. Menu wise- don't go off Yelp pictures! The menu is much different and doesn't have half of what Yelp pictures show. I ordered the burger. Meat was tasteless but fries were bomb!!!! Barbera wine was super yummy and so was desert! I do recommend this place still but keep standards low just in case you had your heart set on a certain dish or if you get stuck with the server we got.

The service was fantastic and the food was OUTSTANDING!!! We sat outside and it was perfect for people and a cool breeze!

Really lovely ambiance & staff were friendly & efficient. Friends told us they had brunch here before & it was really good- but none in our party had ever come for dinner here. I was glad the chicken wing appetizers had sauce on the side. That & calamari were pretty filling & satisfying appetizers. My Chicken pie dinner w side salad was fantastic. Two folks got the pub burger- one liked it & the other didn't. Fries were fantastic! Lasagne was a nice big portion & tasty. Wine was good, I think I'd like to return another time to try more here. It's kind of hard to judge after having spent a whole day wine tasting already. Salad was solid. Not hella delicious but good enough. The biggest disappointment was fish & chips, over-fried & our friend wound up not finishing dinner. Patio area outside is nice- would love to dine Outdoors when the weather improves.

I can't recommend this place enough. The food was exceptional. From the hummus with the warm fluffy pita bread to the chicken pie with the flaky buttery pie crust. Even the balsamic vinaigrette on the side salad was delicious. The service was the best. We were immediately acknowledged by someone when we first walked in and our server Dakota was so attentive and personable. He would even hear us talking about needing something and bring it over. The ambiance was so charming with different antique like dinning tables, high ceilings, tall victoria style bookshelves, wagon wheel chandeliers and an overall welcoming feel in the space. There was even a gorgeous outdoor space that could be enjoyed during the day.

So much delicious food! It took a lil bit of time to get my champagne, however the staff were on top of it through our experience. I just love the atmosphere of this local gem! We'll definitely be back!

When we entered the restaurant the AC was running and the tables were full of chatter. My stepmom is sensitive to noise, so we went to sit on the patio instead . We both got turkey sammies and side salads. The turkey was deli meat, not off the bone for both sandwiches, just FYI. They are generous in size. There is only one dressing for salad and I would say it's like a creamy Italian. The meal was delicious but...we were drinking water and our waiter finally sent his busser to give us a refill at the end of our meal. The service was not the most friendly. We agreed we would both return here in the future because one the food was great and two, everyone can have an off day.

Nice little place in downtown Lodi. Service is quick, ambiance is lovely, food delish. Definitely have to stop by for a quick bite or to unwind from your wine tasting across town.

Hello there. Wife and I have walked and drove past this establishment many MANY times (like in many years), and today (10-27-23) we finally stepped through the doors to get lunch. The place was very relaxing. Noisy but not loud, more kinda festive. We both didn't know that they were also a brewery. Our server "Dakota" took very good care of us. He was able to answered all our questions, was very attentive to our request. So now let's get to the food. Wife had the turkey sandwich and asked if she could get a different bread and Dakota mention foccia bread. I ordered the fish and chips. Both were absolutely delicious. Oh and of course we tried some beers. She's the beer Connoisseur in our house, and she enjoy hers and had a taste of mine and very much like both. (Sorry, I don't remember what kind of beers we order. My bad) Dakota told us about the Sunday Brunch and the dinner menu. We had a fantastic time here, but it all came to a stop when our bill came. Kidding. Will be telling our family and friends about this place and DEFINITELY be coming back

This is such a vibe! Great place with even better food, wine, and beer! Tried the BLT and it was amazing. Never disappointed with service, food or wine! If you're not Lodi this is a must!!!

Had a lovely time with friends... celebrating our upcoming 50th birthday celebrations. The food is delicious... so many choices... and everything is so fresh..

What's not to like about this place. Friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Food selection is wonderful, fresh and expertly prepared. One can also do wine tasting on the premises. I have never had a bad experience there.

Stopped by for lunch dt overwhelming amount of recommendations by locals. Luckily we came during work day so it was not as busy right when they opened. There was plenty of parking in downtown area. We got a great spot nearby and walked around until they opened. We didn't have much time to sit and dine, so we asked if we can order to go. The host said of course. Although I wish we can come back and enjoy the full experience. Their interior and exterior is very inviting. Vintage, intimate, and a bit romantic. So we went ahead with the burger and cheesesteak. Both were great, the fries that come with it are addicting. My husband liked the cheesesteak a bit more than the burger dt how rich in flavor it was. We finished both of them tho! And can't wait to be back for an outdoor experience with the soft music in background. 10/10 recommend. Also all the guests there were very pleasant and kind

Cute little winery/bakery/cafe in the heart of downtown Lodi. Decided to celebrate easter brunch here and was not disappointed. They have an omelette station, an array of mexican dishes and the usual breakfast options to choose from. Coffee and juice are included and the dessert selections were amazing. The bread pudding and the carrot cake were delicious! The staff was very nice and welcoming. Definitely going back soon!

Great ambiance, fast service and delicious food! First time trying this place in Downtown Lodi and it didn't disappoint. I had the chicken quesadillas as an appetizer which came with sour cream and salsa. The bangers and mash was my meal which is a sausage, mash potatoes and vegis. Server was polite and food was excellent. 2 thumbs up!

This is a one-stop shop for food, wine-tasting and beer in Lodi's charming downtown! First time in Lodi and we were celebrating my sister's birthday. We had no idea where to go, searched up a few options and ended up at Dancing Fox. We were hungry, had a party of 7 (including 3 kids under 12) and we were seated right away with no reservation needed -- not bad for a Saturday afternoon. The decor is awesome and the ambiance is inviting. The server Jason was great, always seemed to appear when we needed something. After lunch, we were offered a complimentary wine tasting in their tasting room and we tried about 4 whites and 4 reds -- very generous! We loved all the wines so much, we became members! We also got to meet and chat with the the owner/winemaker and that was a treat -- will definitely be back.

The food was good, but not great overall. The turkey with blackberry jam sandwich is probably my favorite thing on the menu. I was a bit disappointed with the tri-tip. The upside is that when all the other restaurants are packed, this place can usually get you in.

This place is a little gem in downtown Lodi. It has plenty of old world charm from its antique furniture down to the stained glass windows. My waiter was super friendly and efficient adding to a great dining experience. They have a nice wine menu, but I opted to try their 2 ciders and was not disappointed. I was there for lunch so I chose the Fox Trot sandwich. The blackberry red pepper sauce gave it a big flavor boost...so good! I finished off my meal with the caramel apple bread pudding and omg! It was delicious! Definitely enough to share with my friend and have leftovers as well. Highly recommend trying this quaint spot.

The Dancing Fox is one of our favorite places to go in Lodi - the area of town is the cutest, the food is the best, and wine tasting in the back comes with the meal! The first time we ate here, we ate on the patio and we were told the wine tasting came with the meal we were kinda hesitant not being from the area I had no idea about the wine here but SO glad we tried it! We happened to fist stop in early spring and the cherry wine was in at that time and we got a recipe for their hot spiced cherry wine. Then we moved and I lost it! So all summer I have been waiting for it to be restocked and I finally was able to get the recipe again on our last trip. Success! The wine is all fabulous and I make sure to come back each time we go through! This place is a MUST stop.

Breakfast spot that is also a winery and brewery that has self served AYCE brunch on Sundays. We were escort outside to our seats under the shaded patio which could've benefitted from some heating element as it was cold already and the shade aided the chilliness. Sat down looked at the menu and noticed the brunch special, it was a unanimous decision from there. They had loads of breakfast staples like eggs, sausage and pancakes. Though the standouts for me were the hash browns which were crispy, buttery and a bit heavy but every time I renewed my plate (about 2.5 times) they were on there and the omelette station, the chef cooked and mixed the ingredients to perfection. Navigating to each tray to get foods or drinks there was definitely some bottlenecks as it's set up on the bar top and tables/seats surrounded every which way, making moving around awkward. Parking was not too much of an issue, this area look much like a small downtown area and street/stall parking was plenty. All in all a decent breakfast spot during our short day trip to Lodi, had to walk it off and checkout more of the area.

The service and food was amazing! Especially the Sunday Brunch special. Loved the eggs benedict, sausage, bacon, custom omletes and posolè. You simplely must try it.

The food, service and atmosphere of the Dancing Fox is beyond compare. Such a fun place to go. Went here today with my husband for lunch. When we were on our way home I noticed I didn't have my purse with me (this never happens). Panicking we went back to the restaurant and my waiter had it behind the counter waiting for me to return. Win-win!
