Daniel's Broiler Review - Leschi - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This local chain has corporate-y locations in Bellevue, Lake Union, and Downtown. But their more unexpected Leschi restaurant that overlooks a marina in the middle of a quiet neighborhood is the one to visit. There are fantastic views of Lake Washington from almost any seat, which means you can chew on a perfectly crusted eight-ounce filet mignon topped with chunky garlic butter while watching a seagull majestically balancing on a buoy. The mashed potatoes are a creamy masterpiece and the popcorn shrimp make for a satisfying appetizer, too. This place has enough chandeliers, meats in display cases, and white-collar shirts for a special occasion dinner, but also low-key enough that you might just be the only ones here on a weekday." - Kayla Sager-Riley

I’ve eaten at nearly every “fine dining” steakhouse in the greater Seattle area…this filet steak flight was hands down the best steak I’ve eaten. Perfect temperature, perfect flavor. Ended dinner with the chocolate decadent cake and house made PB pie ice cream…I was in heaven. Kara was kind and attentive. There are better dining “experiences” as far as decor/vibes/chef selection type menus, but, what you are coming here for, everything was perfect.

I went here for my birthday and I have to say that this place really hold up to their reputation of having the best steak in town. I got the steak platter with wagyu and it was the most tender, and flavorful steak I’ve had in a while. Everyone in our table enjoyed their meal. It was a plus that everyone was so pleasant and accommodating. I continue to recommend this place and looking forward to dine here again in the near future.

Google
Food was ok. I might come back for steak but definitely not the fish… I wasn’t impressed Complimentary bread: 5/10; too sour. Over baked, outside was as crispy as croutons Spinach pecan salad: 8/10; pretty good. Rib eye steak: 9/10, quite good. 16oz was more than enough for one person Halibut: 4/10, too sweet. Everything on the plate was sweet. I wanted a savory dish… Had to force myself to finish at least the fish since the plate was $70

This place is phenomenally amazing. I just moved to Washington from Texas and during my move, I ordered takeout from here and vowed to come and have dinner here. The view from the lounge is breathtakingly fantastic and you can actually see the Space Needle where I was sitting. Since it was the middle of July and it was absolutely dead, I enjoyed the freedom of no wait and not making a reservation. This was THE BEST Martini I've ever had in my entire life, and that says alot coming from someone who's always skeptical. Payton; Please ask to sit in this cute and sweet little lady's section, she's the one with the adorable pigtails. 💖😊👏👍

Great place for celebrating anniversary. Beautiful view to Lake Washington and sunset. The pianist plays beautiful songs in bar area and there are stools around the piano that you can sit and enjoy.🥰🥰

Google
My family had a cozy birthday dinner here. We ordered filet mignon, NY steak, a side of Brussel sprouts and a kids pasta. The steaks were tasty, cooked to our liking. Our child enjoyed her pasta ( I included a picture of the kids' menu as it is helpful for families with children) We had mojito and lavender Martini - drinks were good (not watered down). We had a table by the window but wished we requested for a booth table, which faces the window directly. Overall, this is a nice restaurant with excellent service. Worth going for special celebrations. Tip: Go to Costco to get some gift cards to make the meal more reasonable cost-wise

Google
Starts slow with chain restaurant caliber appetizers, rises to a crescendo with succulent, well-flavored steaks and finishes high with some truly memorable desserts. Seating is a bit odd given restaurant layout, but there are some nice views of the lake and service is talkative and brisk

Google
Came here for a private event and the food and service was superb. I had the salmon entree that came with delicious mashed potatoes and broccoli, and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The service was top notch and very attentive. Views at sunset was also beautiful.

Yelp
Service was awesome! The food was on point very good steak and lobster. The ambiance was nice as well for a perfect place to celebrate our 30 year anniversary!

Yelp
Good views, live music is great. A bit upset there are so many Mariner fans that they can't even get one TV at the bar to show NBA basketball, but I get it, local pride. Steak is good, they ask you to cut it to make sure the temperature is there. They use prime beef, I feel like the cut is not too generous, maybe 1 inch thick, so you don't get all the medium rare goodness that you might get from a thicker steak. They generously use butter so the steak is a bit drowned in it -- felt that prime cuts are good enough on their own. Mashed potatoes are very good and creamy, but yea a lot of butter. $108 spent with tip and tax and no drinks for a ribeye steak. Honestly not sure if it's worth it for that price.

Yelp
Server John was polite, cordial and attentive. Food expectations were, well, disappointing. Afilet mignon was ordered medium and arrived rare. But I would rather have undercooked than overcooked. It was taken back to cook a little longer. The steak was returned flipped over. Upon turning it over I saw why, it was well charred. The busboy removed my roll from the table and then asked, while walking away, "were you done with this?" I wasn't but I am now. I used to love coming here...

Yelp
I love coming here for celebrations, today was my birthday and I had a wonderful experience. I got the lavender martini, ribeye with mashed potato's and crispy brussel sprouts. Lavender martini was delicious and sweet! The ribeye was cooked perfectly and was enough to share with my sister. Crispy brussel sprouts are a must and are perfectly crisp, sweet and a lil spicy everytime! The dessert was one of our favorites as well, the coconut ice cream is creamy and the glass has a thick layer of chocolate sauce & crispy coconut flakes covering the sides so every bite can have toppings. Our waiter took care of us well and has a lovely voice, he sang for me when giving me the dessert. The decor & 21st floor views are beautiful as well, and seating is very comfortable.

Yelp
Tis the season, to celebrate a new year, with great friends! January is especially important, because it brings in new beginnings and perspective, in life! We were lucky to be able to celebrate our dear friend's birthday, at the beautiful Daniel's Broiler Prime Steak & Seafood ( @danielsbroiler ), in downtown Bellevue, WA. It's nice to be able to view the city, all lit up, atop the 21st floor! It felt like we were above the rain! It's so cozy, with top of the line service! We enjoyed scrumptious steaks and seafood, along with incredible appetizers and decadent desserts! This is why I've been going here for years! Their Bellevue location is my favorite! Happy Birthday Qween!!! We love you heaps!!! #DanielsBroiler #SteakandSeafood #Bellevue #Seattle #localfavorite #dinner #birthdaycelebration #dearfriends #supportlocal Instagram : @NelzLovesIt

Yelp
I am in awwww of Daniel's Broiler. My in laws were coming to town for the weekend and we made reservations for Daniel's before going to see Tran-Siberian Orchestra. We have always wanted to try Daniel's Broiler. We went there and were pleasantly surprised with the attentiveness of the staff, we didn't have to ask for a refill , like EVER. There was someone right by our table , keeping an eye on us and refilling our water, without us needing to ask. I love the fact that when your food comes to your table, there are like a crew of staff who bring these little flashlights and shine them into your steak, when you cut into it, and they ask you if you are happy with the way it is cooked. If all is good, they leave, if you are not happy with it, they will take the meal back and remake it. Without hesitation. It's fairly quiet and you get a nice view of downtown Bellevue. We were so impressed, by the service, the amazing food and the overall experience, we decided to make reservations to Daniel's Broiler for Thanksgiving Day and we brought our kids . If you are in the Bellevue area and want some amazing food, make reservations to eat at Daniel's Broiler! You won't be disappointed, I promise. (Oh yeah and guess what? The bathrooms are so nice, clean and classy, I love the napkins or hand towels or whatever they are, in the restroom that have the Daniels broiler logo.)

Yelp
The food here is sooo good! I have enjoyed everything I've tried there! The steak literally melts in your mouth! I enjoy my steak "blue" and it was amazing! The drinks are good too! Everyone is so nice and attentive! Be ready to spend some money though, it is totally worth it, in my opinion!

Yelp
It's always a treat and delightful experience dining at Daniel's Broiler in Bellevue. The ambiance is beautiful especially if you make it there a little before sunset. The views are alluring as you see the rays hitting and illuminating the buildings in an orange glow all around you (definitely get window seating!) The service is always after the satisfaction of the guest and this time was no exception. Maria did a wonderful job in making sure our meals were perfect. Her smile was most hospitable and her care to detail was evident. Our dinner was excellent (as always) from filet mignon to the lamb chomps! It's an exquisite dining experience when visiting Daniels, the old world charm never ever gets old. Will return again, and again and again!

Yelp
The atmosphere was beautiful. The food however was dated and prepared properly. I had the salmon and it was overcooked. The service was exceptional but the food was not worth the price.

Yelp
Good steak! My boys and I love steaks! My wife said her lamb was a little dried. Love the dessert and sparkling drink

Yelp
Note: This review is for the Private Dining section food of the restaurant. We attended a private party on a Saturday night with about 30 guests at the restaurant, and the Cascade Room was the perfect setting for the occasion. It had an intimate vibe without feeling cramped, and the large windows overlooking downtown Bellevue provided stunning views, especially on a clear night. The menu was preset, but we had some choices to make--soup or salad, protein, and dessert. Since it's a steakhouse, I went with the clam chowder (which was fantastic, and exactly what you want from a Pacific Northwest chowder), and my husband opted for the Caesar salad, which was fine but pretty basic. For the entrée, we both had the filet and a dessert sampler. While the filet was definitely a high-quality cut, it was under-seasoned and a bit too raw for the medium-rare we asked for. For that price, I expected it to be spot on. On the bright side, dessert was outstanding--honestly, I'd return just for that and a cup of coffee to finish the night.

Yelp
I live this DB in the sky. My best tip for here is sit in the bar, no wait and full menu. The service is great. 4 stars because the food is overpriced and just OK, nothing spectacular. Vibe is boomer statehouse.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the Daniel's Cut Filet Mignon medium rare. For the price I was expecting this to melt in my mouth. One of the worst steaks I've had. It had gristle (elastin) throughout where it made it very hard to chew and swallow. I had to spit out a lot of it because it's like chewing on a rubber band. The garlic mash potatoes were dry and the Caesar salad was lemony. The only good part was the server. She did an awesome job. I would not come back here again.

Yelp
I ordered UberEats from here and cannot stress how disgusting the food was. I think this is my first ever 1-star review on yelp. The "filet mignon steak fingers" entree cost $25 and came with literally less than a LeanCuisine amount of food. Like half of a LeanCuisine at best. See the picture -- this was after eating ONE piece of steak and TWO bites of mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were hardly the size of my fist, and there were like 10-12 tiny cubes of steak in there. The sauce was way too salty and everything was drenched in it because there was so little actual food in the container (I'd say 75% of the container was empty -- and it's tiny to begin with!). Not to mention, the food tasted AWFUL. I am pretty sure the steak and whatever milk product they used in the mashed potatoes was rotten. Maybe that's why the sauce was so strong -- to cover up the fact that this food is SPOILED. Absolutely disgusting, please NEVER order food from here.

Yelp
Went to Daniel's Broiler for our 31st anniversary this year. I've been there a couple of times before but hadn't ever written a review. Food: as always food is delicious! We started with the scallops w Sambuca butter on a crostini and the wedge salad which we shared. My hubby had the 16oz porterhouse which was incredible flavorful, delicious and rich. He added the full baker and a side of the crispy Brussels Sprouts. I had the Alaska Halibut which was prepared so perfectly. Slightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. There was a black bean and garbanzo bean hummus spread on the plate. The black bean hummus was a bit dry. And the artichoke salad was fresh, and crunchy. They brought us a complimentary dessert for our special celebration. My husband said it was very very very good. Coconut ice cream, topped with toasted coconut and a fresh layer of fudge in the glass w 2 chocolate curls. Service: Lyndsay (?) did a fabulous job. I have a lot of food allergies (don't come at me I still like to go out to eat). She was very knowledgeable about the menu and which items might have one of my allergens. What she wasn't sure about she went back and confirmed. I greatly appreciated that and had NO cross contamination as the kitchen and our server were very attentive and careful. Aside from her attention to my allergens she was friendly, good timing and was great at making recommendations. Also the maître d' wandered thru the restaurant. Very friendly up beat and dapper guy with a big smile. The only down side we arrived about 20 mins early. Traffic was light. But ended up waiting 30 mins to get seated. Folks came in after and got seated before so that was a little frustrating. I didn't see anyone leave before we were seated so wish they would have sat us closely after we arrived. No explanation and I had to ask if we were getting seated soon. Ambiance: we had a booth that faced the lake and was during early evening so we had a beautiful view. Talk about golden hour. Nice music playing and the restaurant always has a pleasant middy vibe. 4 stars due to wait and no follow up by host staff and the hummus was a little dry

Yelp
We went here for my daughter's 18th birthday. I absolutely love the service, food, and view. Several people checked on us and made sure everything was top notch. Our waiter, Sicily (I think), was very helpful and patient as we asked questions about the menu items. They gave my daughter a free ice cream dessert at the end. With all of that, the only negative point we have is the 20% automatic tip added to our bill. This was a frustration before we came into the restaurant so we were already prepared. Our party was only 3 people which if we had a larger group, I could understand this a little more. Our bill was over $400 and the automatic tip was $67.... our wonderful waiter didn't see any of it since corporate apparently keeps it all. That is truly unacceptable. Our hope is that Daniel's Broiler changes this policy as it only hurting their own employees. There is an option to tip above the 20% so your server sees some but this is crazy to us when we already are spending a high amount for our meal. Sadly, this will be the last time we eat at DB until we have the option to tip the amount we feel is fair and it goes to our waiter/waitress directly. There are other steak houses to choose from until then.

Yelp
We love going to Daniel's Broiler and sitting in the bar! The service staff is always so wonderful, and we have a great time. We got engaged in December and went to Daniel's right after to celebrate, and now we go celebrate all of our special occasions there. The food is great, and well worth the price. This location also has a great view, and the piano players are always so good.

Yelp
One of the best steak house in Bellevue. Great location and d great view. My son requested his birthday dinner here. I get to enjoy as well. They have great steaks. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Myra O.

Yelp
The views are lovely and the food is reliably good. Same Daniel's quality steaks at all the locations. Also, Daniel's has the best sides! Yum! The service is always excellent as well.

Yelp
I wish I could remember our servers name but she was really great. I am pregnant at the moment and she suggested I try this really good pomegranate mojito. Everything pictured was tasty. We tried the bacon wrapped scallops for the first time per her recommendation and loved it. The lobster mashed potato is a must, it's super creamy and flavorful. You'll get stuffed just from the sides/appetizers so the price is definitely worth it plus the view you get while dining in.
google avatar

Yelp
Popped in for a late dinner and we were seated in the speakeasy, the bar was loud and we didn't have a reservation. The speakeasy was a nice option and the views weren't spectacular because we overlooked a parking lot but we were 21 floors up! Service is good and friendly but we did have a bit of a wait for our food. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was massive, you can also tell the cut of beef was a higher quality. My partner got the crab legs with aioli and they were good- super fresh. She also got a seasonal salad, I imagine it was fine....i was too busy eating all the fries to bother with her salad.

Yelp
Ate there two weeks ago The brussels sprouts were out of this world my friend and I went into the bar and we sat at a table and there was music and we both had I had a hamburger she had a hamburger I have to admit it was super delicious I'm definitely gonna go back and the service was excellent
google avatar

Danielle D.

Yelp
The food was good, but not incredible. The experience was lack luster and overpriced.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
I thought the ambiance was pretty with a great view of the surrounding area. My dinner was good as was my drink but if I'm being honest the SURPRISE 20% service charge I was required to pay ruined the experience. I did not see it in the menu (possibly overlooked) or was I told by my server. This is a sneaky business practice that needs to be changed and restaurants should be required to tell the customer upfront about these hidden costs. It's one thing to be paying for a meal on a personal card but now I have to explain to my company why I charged an asinine amount of money for my dinner on the company card.
google avatar

Yelp
This location is in a shared building with the Hyatt Regency and 13 Coins. There is valet or self parking. The restaurant does validate if you self park. If you are in the parking garage you will go to level 1 and head to the 2 banks of elevators to go up to Daniel's. The views from the bar and around the restaurant are beautiful especially on a clear day. We were a larger group of 8 so they put us in the board room which is a private room. It's nice and quiet and allowed for conversation to flow. The view from this view is more of downtown Bellevue. The waiter was great, he was personable, efficient and professional. We got several appetizers, I enjoyed the crab legs as they were already cracked so no work to be done. I split the filet trio and we each got a salad and side and it was the perfect amount of food. I really enjoyed the Caesar salad, the dressing was excellent. I thought the tomatoes with the wedge were too big for that salad. The Piedmontese filet was my favorite of the trio. It had the perfect flavor. The service, the views and the food are reasons to come back.

Alisa Q.

Yelp
It's best to make a reservation, but even if you don't have one the food is WORTH the wait. Thursday night there was live music playing in the background -- views of Bellevue were gorgeous. It's my second time here in 18 months and everything is incredible, from the drinks to the service. And WOWWW the food is so good. Ahi tuna was phenomenal and the steaks were the best as always. I definitely recommend for a special occasion as it's pricey here.

Jose G.

Yelp
I don't normally leave reviews, but I feel like this experience needs to be shared. During our visit to Daniel's Broiler, two meals arrived undercooked -- a ribeye and a king salmon. Sadly, I didn't realize the salmon was undercooked until after I took a bite and noticed that something was off. The server kindly offered to have both dishes cooked further (these things happen), the real concern came when I started eating the salmon after it returned. I noticed a thin white string that strongly resembled a parasite. I showed the server, they took it to the cooks for inspection, came back and said that if it were a parasite it would be moving. However, this is incorrect because if the salmon was previously frozen or cooked to its recommended temperature, the parasite would no longer be alive... I appreciate the server's friendliness and effort to make things right, but this completely ruined my appetite. Two out of three meals being undercooked at the same table makes you question how often this happens. I'm sharing this not to be harsh, but because I expected far better quality control from a restaurant of this caliber.
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
The food was delicious and cooked well. The service is also high quality and prompt. The overall ambience is fancy and this place is good for a date night or super formal meeting.

James V.

Yelp
You can't beat the view atop the world here. Excellent food and service. The ribeye steak was to die for.

Ellen B.

Yelp
Disappointed with the quality of the meat. Thought it would have been a higher level of steak.

Yelp
I've been patronizing Daniels for almost two decades. Usually Daniels is a nice experience - excellent food and service in a classy setting. I've not visited much over the past few years - normally only for a late-night dinner as the Seattle area seriously lacks options to dine after 8:45pm. Daniels has changed since COVID, however. And this change is with some of the primary waitstaff service. Last visits over 18 months, the waiters have been sloppy, inattentive and rough around the edges. Definitely service not consistent with the menu pricing. Sommelier and support staff has been fine. But for a $150/person dinner, I don't believe the overall service is where it needs to be. Other observation is that in all of my visits since COVID, the restaurant is below 50% capacity. This is for business lunches and dinners.
google avatar

Stephen B.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate a special birthday in our family, and many of us ordered the filet mignon and the ribeye, both of which were excellent and out of this world. We had a private room, and the service was absolutely incredible. Would love to come back here by myself sometime And try out the regular dining room. Thanks to Daniel's Broiler for making this an incredible experience overall.

Yelp
Had the best dinner with experience at the Bellevue location! We arrived 20 minutes prior to our dinner reservations, so we grabbed a drink at the bar where they had a live pianoist playing some smooth music. Table was ready on time and seated by the window as requested in the reservation. Our server Ellen suggested the bacon wrapped scallops which were absolutely delicious. With our steak dinner, we ordered the cream corn Aldo suggested by her and that paired well and delicious as well! We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday in which he received a chocolate and coconut flake martini glass with ice cream AND that too was so delicious. Quality of the service, food and drinks was outstanding fung and made the celebration even better!

Julee C.

Yelp
Sat in the lounge, the piano bar could be heard and was fun. We sat in the corner and the window view was nice. Service was really good for being a busy Friday night. We ordered the filet flight, shrimp cocktail app and wedge salad with filet. House old fashioned was good not great, the wine selection was the same. We enjoyed the dinner and atmosphere it was relaxing and fun.

Yelp
We went for Happy Hour last week. The Bloody Mary was amazing so was the prawn cocktails and ahi tuna.. they were all do. Enjoyed the personal service and the outstanding scenery of city of Bellevue from the 21 floor. Love the joint and will probably go try their dinner at my next visit.
google avatar

Yelp
- star one for prices that are over the top. It's a fine dining place but $78 for the bottom rung is a stretch, and $140 for top tier...I mean..come on now. That comes with a potato, if you want another side add ~15. Cocktails start at $18 so bring your cookie jar. But 4 stars on the rest - Pricing, great steaks, well cooked, attentive staff, selection, not materially different than a Flemings in terms of atmosphere but better than a Ruth's. I enjoyed my meal here, but doubt I would go on my own nickel. It's just too pricey in comparison to other also excellent options.
google avatar

Sophia L.

Yelp
Perfect night with the perfect food and people. We should've reserved an earlier time, closer to the sunset to get full experience but we were still able to get some of the city lights in on this 21st floor. Service was very fine. Waiter kept trying to upsale their food but we couldn't eat that much. We got their specialty drink of the night, bacon wrapped scallops, 30oz bone in ribeye, 16oz ribeye, and cheesecake. The drink was very sweet. Otherwise no comment on the rest of the food, it was incredible. Total came out to be $350 but we had a $200 gift card from a friend so we only actually paid $150. I would be happy to come back if that was what the meal was priced at but $350 is a little too much and so this might just be a place for special events.

Michelle R.

Yelp
Lamb chops were amazing, my boyfriend got the steak which was under seasoned. My complaint is the lamb was supposed to have spinach and purple sweet potato mash which obviously didn't, and I wasn't informed if they were out etc. service was excellent but how they tip out is ridiculous! Not sure I'll go back, to much money for the quality that isn't up to par.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here only because we had a gift card. It's a beautifully modern place with welcoming staff. Ambiance is romantic-ish. We weren't very hungry and chose to try an appetizer and share a main dish. Prices are up there! We didn't dare order steak. Although I wonder if that would have tasted better since that's their specialty. GRILLED AHI TUNA-server took initiative (unwelcomed) to split it in half for us. I would have much more preferred to share off one plate so I could see the full presentation meant for this dish. It tasted awful. So much unnecessary pepper. The orzo was weird with strong feta flavor. Neither of us wanted to eat this dish. To my surprise, the server took it off our bill. Bacon wrapped scallops came out room temperature. The scallops are well cooked. They were served on top of toasted hard bread which was hard to eat together and just did not make any sense. The sauce had a strange flavor and after taste. However, I'll admit that my husband didn't mind it and finished this dish. Im a scallop snob. It's the dish I order at any fancy place. This was my least favorite scallop dish in over a decade. Disappointed in such a prestigious place to have food that was very unimpressive. Would not return.

Yelp
My mom took me for my birthday. I called ahead because I have an allergy. They said no problem on the phone. They brought me the wrong food, left me with half of the order that was right to fix the order, with no sauce. "No you can't have the sauce" they said at the last minute, okay, we asked for aoili after some back and forth, it was brought late but then they took it right away before I was done eating?? I had asked for onions when the sauce didn't work. "We don't have onions" they said, okay, I guess I won't complain, I'm almost finished with my mediocre entree (who has the money for a bad filet?) but then they brought me onions and mushrooms mixed together? Okay, I guess it's nice they're trying to fix it, but it's not what I ordered at all, I actually really dislike mushrooms and there was zero communication that's what I was getting. We're at the end of the meal and I was so disappointed and just wanted to get out of there. The cherry on top: our waitress came by and said to me, "you can't have the birthday desert but would the rest of the table like your special dessert?" My family had to say no three times before she left. Didn't offer me sorbet or any alternative. I'm sad my mom paid. They didn't comp anything and they messed up a lot. I would recommend going somewhere else, especially if you are celebrating.

Yelp
Fantastic food and extremely attentive service! Unfortunately, it comes at a price point that's a bit too high for my liking. I ordered the delmonico steak and it was cooked a perfect medium rare. The fried cheese curd appetizer and the butter cake were also great!

Yelp
First things first. Our server was nice and did a great job. The food was also real good and the view was amazing. Still, we left a bit let down. When we made our reservation (on line), we were asked if it was a special occasion. We answered that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. When the hostess sat us, she asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and we told her it was our anniversary. A few minutes later, our server asked the same question. The meal ended without the anniversary ever being mentioned again. We didn't expect a free meal or anything, but after all the questions we thought we'd be seeing a complimentary dessert or perhaps a glass of bubbly. Nothing. (Although a couple across from us appeared to get a celebration dessert). Maybe we were forgotten or maybe they don't count same-sex marriages. Whatever the reason, it made the evening end on a blah note.

Yelp
Daniel's Broiler is on the 21st floor and over looks Lake Washington and downtown Bellevue. We did however need to close our blinds because the sun was super bright. I'm sure if you were here for sunset- likely a stunning view. Service was fantastic- starts right when you walk in with the hostess. Our server was knowledgeable about the steaks and their aging process, as well as the different cuts. We started with a cocktail, I tried the rose cocktail- delicious. We are at a time when cocktails are now the price of an appetizer- which is pretty disappointing. We shared the scallops wrapped in bacon, fantastic- really delicious. I ordered the "Flight of filet mignons"- I'm going to be honest that I did not notice the difference between the three- one was a house, one from Italy, the other was Wagyu. The creamed corn stole the show- top 10 sides I've ever tried. It was our 21st anniversary and our server brought us over a frozen fudge coconut dessert- it was great! Overall, great meal. I will admit I thought items were overpriced.

Yelp
Wow! We had a private dinner here for our company New Year's party and everything was fantastic! Our servers were so professional I always felt like my glass was full and everyone was debonair and kind! I tried the 16 oz prime ribeye and it was cooked a perfect medium rare just like I ordered! I also tried the salmon with beurre blanc sauce and it tasted fantastic! No fishy flavor and pillow soft! I also had a few bites do the garlic chicken I and it was fantastic! I haven't been here in years but I already can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I have been here a few times and I don't have any complaints. I will say, before I say anything else, in my usual long winded way, that this isn't the place to come for flavors and fusions or anything like that. What you will get here is proteins, lightly seasoned, very traditionally prepared in the American style and cooked in correctly. Each protein, from seafood to white meat to red meat has been cooked right for me. So if you are not craving a flavor experience, but just a good stake, this is the place to go. That's not commonly my vibe, to be honest, but when I want simple, good, protein plates I know where to go. And the service is always good. I won't say exceptional, because I have eaten at many places, but good. Like I said at the beginning, no complaints. Located in downtown Bellevue in the Hyatt hotel, location is ideal with a great view of the city from the 21st floor. Free parking. Great atmosphere. Menu covers appetizers, soups and salads and proteins. They have a beef and other protein section. Their cocktail menu is a one pager but their wine and spirits list is a book. They are kid friendly. They have a kids menu and I noticed a kids changing table in the bathroom. Expect to pay like $100 per person if you are doing a drink, appetizer and an entree. For reference, my husband and I spent about $380 on the two of us for an appetizer, two entrees, four drinks and two desserts.

Yelp
Roy made sure my boyfriend and I had the best anniversary. It truly made our experience. Everything was phenomenal and so well executed. We will be back at Daniel's for so many more date nights to come!

Yelp
I was served a burnt steak. Was told it should have a heavy char, but all I could taste was bitter char. I hate wasting a steak but I couldn't eat it so I let the server know. The service and the rest of our meals were good.

Yelp
Who doesn't like steak, but I prefer tuna, the service is good, but there is a small incident, although a little unhappy, but the food is good
