The best sandwiches in Chicago! That bread! And they have wine and beer and charcuterie too. A killer happy hour too! Right downtown inside Sterling Food Hall!

Google
Thank you, Danke… Das essen ist gut!!! If you’re looking for a tasty lunch or delicious dinner with a food hall atmosphere, you can’t miss at this amazing little sandwich spot. Danke is a counter service joint with a quaint bar that’s friendly and cozy. Cop a squat and have a Lil’ Buddy beer - a half-can “snack” that hits the spot. They also have Cote du Rhone by the glass, and a bangin’ happy hour that’s worth a visit. On the food side, DA, ist gut. Get the Inglorious Batard - the pickles pop in your mouth, and I highly recommend adding the salt-and-pepper kettle chips and pimento cheese spread to your sandwich for added heat and crispiness. The service was amazing. We had a great convo with the bartender/proprietor, who guided us to some other great food experiences. That’s how you do it. The food hall itself offers some other great options to explore, but Danke has the best bar - bar none. I highly suggest it.

Google
If you’re looking for a next-level sandwich spot, Danke is it. I spent about $16 on the Prosciutto & Brie sandwich ($14) plus a Topo Chico ($2), and it was worth every penny. The bread was that perfect mix of crispy and chewy, and the combo of salty prosciutto, creamy brie, and fig jam was unreal. It’s a small spot, but the vibe is cool and laid-back. Service was quick, and you can tell they care about quality ingredients. If you’re in the Loop and want something better than your average deli, hit this place up.

Google
This place is great. They have a sandwich counter with a bar integrated into the deli. Sandwiches are great and I always grab a mouse too. Staff are super friendly and the food is great!

Google
Rolled into Danke on Randolph for a quick lunch, grabbed the turkey‑avocado sammie and a cold brew + tots, ran me about $18.50. Bread was fresh, avo creamy, tots were crisp but could’ve been hotter. Staff was chill, quick with a smile. Cool vibe overall, just wish the seating was a tad comfier. I’ll def be back.

Google
I order from Danke about once a month when I’m in the office. I have had a lot of sandwiches on the menu and they are all good. You can’t go wrong. However, my personal favorite is the secret sandwich. Pictured is the Italian because that’s what I ordered when I decided to actually leave a review. They’re always timely, friendly and the sandwiches are consistently good.

Google
Their sandwiches are SO good and have such high quality ingredients. The bread is some of the best in Chicago and baked fresh by them. It's crusty, a little chewy, and just totally perfect for a sturdy and filling sandwich. The sandwiches overflow with fresh ingredients. Always get a little $1 container of the house dill pickles on the side! Can't recommend this place enough. A quick lunch option in the Loop that feels a little elevated. I go whenever I can and have for years. The Veg sandwich is my fave. Also the staff are just really nice.

Google
Danke is a solid option within the Revival Food Hall with so many other choices. I got the Inglorious Batard and the Roasted Tomato Soup, which had a nice little spicy tang to it! The Inglorious Batard was a nice twist on the classic French Jambon-Beurre with a pickle added to it. Nice whipped butter and a delicious ham on a solid baguette, was really happy with my choice! The revival food hall is great and has a wonderful vibe with so many options! Overall a wonderful later night meal right before the food hall closed.

Yelp
I recently visited Danke for lunch in the Sterling Food Hall in Chicago's Loop. The Sterling Food Hall has many good food stalls and this one is one of the better ones. First, they have a great food stall. Unlike many of the food stalls, they have their bar and seating. It was nice to grab my food and be able to sit down right away without having to go search for a table. Second, the food is delicious. I was told by the staff that they make all their bread in house, brine their pork belly in house and get fresh and local meats and ingredients. I tried three sandwiches, the Italian, the secret sandwich and the inglorious batard. All do the sandwiches were good, but the inglorious batard was may favorite. The Italian was might brighter than other Italian sandwiches I've had. Third, the service is great. The staff was friendly and my food came out super fast. This is a must visit sandwich shop in Chicago.

Yelp
Came in an off time, was able to order quickly, and service was kind. She asked pertinent questions, and because of them, I sat at the bar to eat. Even though I had ordered at the counter, as I finished my glass of wine, another staff cleared my tray and asked if I'd like another. Though I would have otherwise finished what I'd ordered and left, I selected another glass to finish the rest of my meal. I ordered the secret sandwich, which was decadent, and hit a spot I didn't realize I'd had. I was nervous about choosing the kale salad as a side (beets ain't my thing), but I loved every facet of it and almost didn't notice there had been any beets at all. The food hall and Danke's bar are lovely, which is not something I'd thought I'd be saying about the decor of a food hall. The lighting was not overly bright, with a subtle ambiance that was somehow calming despite how hectic a food court tends to be. Oddly, I would recommend this over even some more formal spots for late lunch/happy hour in the area. There are options for charcuterie plates that would have been a wonderful thing to share had I had company, as well as other interesting choices on their beer and wine menu.

Yelp
The menu is clearly visible and is the same as it is online. When I arrived the first time, it was before noon and I had no wait. Second time I went on a Friday at 12:15 and only one person in front of me. Both times, the employee who took my order was friendly and prompt. The food was prepared much faster than I'd expect. There are enough seats that it'd be easy to get a table and dine in. However, I took mine back to my desk. The bread is hearty and has a slight crispiness on the very outside but then dense and chewy and flavorful. All ingredients are top quality. The turkey shines and the cheese is flavorful enough to compliment the smokiness of the turkey without being overshadowed by it. The aioli is a lovely addition and is light enough to not overwhelm the rest of the flavors. It's a bit much for me for a lunch but it's so delicious that I've haven't had the will power to save half of it and instead gobble the whole thing at once.

Yelp
Get some German and good sandwiches from this place in Revival Food Hall. It also has options for vegans. Danke is best known for sandwiches and deli items. Must be good because it was one of the original tenants. The food has pretty good flavor for something in a food hall, and isn't like canned or bargain like stuff. A place to hang around is at the bar. It has some overpriced cocktails. The food is the main thing. Okay prices on the food especially for around here. The Chickpea Salad is one of the best sides. It's about $6 for a big portion and it's filling. The Veg is the vegan sandwich option. It's about $10 and comes with a side, with salads among the choices. This has arugula, braised mushrooms, eggplant, cauliflower purée, sun dried tomatoes, and zucchini. Big sandwich and is a lot for the cost This seems like a good deal to be honest. Convenient to get to if downtown. It's mainly for people who work around here. They're closed weekends.

Yelp
Best tomato soup in the area! The ingredients in the sandwich are fresh, but for the price, I do wish the bread was toasted and a lot softer. It was a pretty quick lunch (no lines). The cashier was so patient & willing to ask questions. This is inside a food hall: be mindful that it is very loud and packed during lunchtime but there are no people during dinnertime. Might go back to try their charcuterie boards with their wine.

Yelp
I ordered lunch from here through Grubhub and it did not disappoint! Everything tasted fresh and of high quality, with a wide variety of menu options to choose from. While the bread wasn't my favorite (I prefer a softer texture), the sandwich was still delicious and packed with flavor. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I don't usually review after a single visit but I'm so sure they're better than 3.5 stars I had to jump in sooner than later. It's important that you come without your American expectations of what a sandwich should be and allow for a more European sensibility and style. It's 4 stars just based on the food quality. I have to address the complaints about the prices. They're very reasonable and especially for downtown Chicago and the high end ingredients. I loved the secret sandwich. You're not going to find this anywhere else in Chicago. Duck Liver Mousse, Sliced Pork Belly, Emmental Cheese, Smoked Pickled Onion, Whole Grain Mustard, Arugula on House Baguette. This is a fabulous and well crafted sandwich. Get a bag of chips to break up the bites and maybe even a beer. A deal of a sandwich for $11.50. I'm going to come back to try more but take a retired chef's word for it that Yelpers have this completely wrong. It's not one of the many chains I will not mention. It's completely different. Come with an open mind.

Yelp
Got the Inglorious Batard but added lettuce. Good spot for lunch because they get the food out very quickly and have a small bar counter area you can sit at and eat. Sandwich was large and filling. Bread was good and crusty and I really enjoyed the actual ham. It wasn't your typical deli meat and you could tell it was good quality.

Yelp
If you're looking for a good sandwich while at Revival Food Hall, Danke is a great choice. Everyone working there was really nice and friendly, and the menu had a lot of tasty options. We only got a grilled cheese sandwich since we were sampling from a bunch of different vendors, but it was delicious, both with and without the pickles (got them on the side instead of on it, since my kid is anti-pickles). Hoping to try more on another visit!

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place only has 3.5 stars. I thought their secret sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The ingredients are very creative and very tasty. The chips and soda they have are also yummy. It was fairly priced for Chicago and the service was great. This shop is very casual as it is located in a food hall.

LM C.

Yelp
I was nervous Danke was closed when I heard the revival food hall was no longer. Turns out they are still in business, the food hall just changed its name to Sterling! What a relief. And it was wonderful to enjoy one of their sandwiches for lunch when I was downtown last week! Sooooo good!

Yelp
As usual I couldn't decide on what to get so I got 2 sandwiches. The turkey and the ham. I started with the ham and butter sandwich as essentially that's what it is. It was good and finished the first half happily. The turkey was good as well but for me the stand out was the cheese on it. I eventually ate the first half of that but with the second half I removed the cheese and added it to the second half of the ham sandwich. Both sandwiches were good. Although it won't be a place I crave to order from. Solid though.

Yelp
Secret Sandwich hell yea ! Had a feeling in my bones this sandwich would come thru for me and It did, it is, it doth slap. If you like pates mousse etc this is your sandwich. The cherry jam is tasty too. I've also tried their inglorious batard, and if you're craving a ham Sammy this delivers with the crusty bread. Solid sandwiches both times I've tried. I'm a new fan. Danke liebe

Yelp
Best sandwiches and bread in Chicago, must have for sandwich lovers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
The Secret Sandwich has the perfect resume! It confidently flaunts its schweinebauch and duck liver. Loaded with fatty meats and a touch of cheese. Topping off its qualifications as a Euro inspired sandwich with a chewy, rustic baguette. Perhaps it was too much of a good thing...Gasp! I know...I heard it too! After eating half of the sandwich, I wasn't quite full but certainly begging for something else. I would recommend sharing this with someone and pairing it with a side of salad or soup or maybe a beer... The baguette was deliciously chewy! And they sell just the baguette for $3! I'll definitely be back for that!
google avatar

Rebecca G.

Yelp
Service was amazing but I was disappointed in the Inglorious Batard (excellent name, so-so execution). The homemade bread was great but the excess of ham was overpowering and the pickles just didn't work for me. I felt like it either needed something else (arugula, onion?) or more of a balance of the existing ingredients. I may be holding it to unfair Parisian ham baguette standards though. I would go back and try something else, as I'm a fan of Table, Donkey, and Stick.

Yelp
Danke is located in the Revival Food Hall and they are one of the OGs at the food hall when it opened some years ago (still fairly new). I ordered online for pickup, which has been great and I think fairly new to Revival Food Hall as I just noticed it two weeks ago. Seating is so hard to find in the food hall because it is so busy! Food was ready on time and I headed back to the office (10-min walk). I ordered the Grilled Cheese (rated as one of the best grilled cheeses in Chicago) (RIP Fat Shallot who moved out of Revival, who also has a great grilled cheese), Roasted Tomato Soup, and Smoked Turkey. Hey don't judge, I was carb loading for my 10 mile run the next day with my running group haha. I've had both sandwiches before and they are still both excellent! The Grilled Cheese actually traveled decently well as the sourdough bread was still toasty (a little rough given the sourdough bread), but a little moist and totally expected given the 10-min walk. The cheese was still somewhat melted and the flavor is to die for! The Smoked Turkey was insanely fresh and full of flavor! I love their mustard aioli (dijon based)! The baguette is insanely good and I think it almost tastes like ciabatta bread just in a baguette. Arugula was fresh. The Roasted Tomato soup was ok to good as it was lukewarm so it didn't travel well. It was packed with flavor, but it had a small kick of spiciness! I didn't expect it to have a kick, but it was definitely noticeable. Overall, Danke is a great place to grab lunch! Good luck finding a seat at Revival as it's always packed (my luck is terrible and usually have to settle for standing room only) as there are so many great options! Prices is cheap for the Loop ($10-$11/sandwich) and portion sizes are good. I want to try their Secret Sandwich sometime as I have never had it because the Grilled Cheese and Smoked Turkey are sooooo good! Please note that I had to walk 10 minutes back to my office so the food would have been even better dining at Revival!

Yelp
A decent sandwich option in the Loop that's hardy enough to be worth its moderate price-tag. After my recent falling out with Chipotle, I've been looking for new work lunch options, and a friend suggested Danke. I placed an order through Ritual for the Italian Sandwich ($9.95) and went to pick it up. Pickup process was very smooth--my sandwich was out in a bag on the counter and clearly labeled. Got in and out of there real quick. My biggest fear with lunch is that I'm going to get something and then find myself hungry again in two hours, but as soon as I opened the bag, I felt pretty confident I'd be good to go. The sandwich itself is very solid--a lot of meat and very hardy bread. It's on a baguette, and it's the type of bread that will cut you if you're not careful, the kind you really have to work to tear. Not the soft, airy Subway bread. Much crispier. I would say overall the sandwich is a good amount of food, flavorful, and not guilt-inducing. Didn't blow me away, but I walked out satisfied. Not the best value out there, but not outrageous for a full lunch in the Loop.

Yelp
Great option in Revival Food Hall for a picnic in the park I was just walking around the food hall trying to kill some time before the start of Millennium Park concerts at Pritzker Pavilion when I happened upon a wine tasting at Danke of Malbec. I love my Argentinian Malbec, so I was escatic when Danke told me about their picnic baskets that included this luscious wine!it included everything I needed, a snack, a bottle opener, plastic cups, and place setting. The simple picnic basket was only $15.99 which included a freshly baked baguette with either a smoked cheese or luck liver pate and bottle of wine - I need some wine anyway when I'm taking in a concert @ Millennium or Ravinia - might as well get a delicious accompaniment of duck pate w/ baguette. Danke serves some fancy looking sandwiches as well, so next time I'll complete out my picnic options. When I ordered the liver pate, the staff gave me a thumbs up (Apparently I chose wisely...). Very yummy, was a great accompaniment to my wine. Location wise, it's perfect for folks working in the loop as it's midway between the metra stations and the Millennium Park.

Yelp
This place is okay. It was the place I was most looking forward too, so I'm a bit disappointed in my experience. The guy behind the counter was super friendly, and there was no line which was a huge plus. I bought a Pate de Campagne sandwich. It is pork "meatloaf" with fig mostarda, arugula, and pistachios on a baguette. It comes with no sides, and is $10.50. I added on a cup of house made dill pickles for $1. The meat itself was fine, but the sandwich was super dry. The mostarda was delicious, but so thick that it added nothing in the way of moisture, so it was almost like there was no condiments on it at all. There was nothing super flavorful or memorable about it, but it was perfectly fine, and I ate it. I'd be willing to give it another chance, but I'd definitely order something else or ask for extra condiments next time.

Yelp
Pretty good sandwich place. If you've never been here and are looking for this place, it's located inside of the Revival Food Hall, along with many other small restaurants. This is mainly a sandwich shop, but have a couple other things. We got 2 sandwiches: 1) Grilled Cheese:. Wasn't impressed at all. It was loaded with pickles. I wouldn't have ordered it with pickles, it just came with them (lots of them). There was more pickles than cheese. I ordered a cheese sandwich, not a pickle sandwich. Overpowering. Nothing special about it otherwise. 2) Surprise sandwich I believe it was called... can't remember. It was a specialty sandwich with duck confit and a bunch of other meats that melted in your mouth. I did like this sandwich, which is the reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1. This felt like a high end sandwich..... Like a sandwich you would really want to try. Without knowing I was ordering a pickle sandwich, I ordered a side of pickles...so we really had pickles. The homemade pickles were pretty good...they remind me of Mediterranean pickles....very finely sliced, and really good. The prices are what you would expect of a high end sandwich / deli shop. I'd say the grilled cheese was overpriced for what it was, and they charged extra for the side cup of tomato soup...... Not worth it. The other sandwich felt high end, so I'd say the price was good for that one. I'd really look through the menu to make sure you know what you're getting and see if it's worth ordering.

Yelp
Fun spot for a small, quick happy hour after work or before a show (not that I've been to any shows lately) or full dinner somewhere else. It's also great for lunch. Awesome sandwiches and good "snacky" food. The beer and wine lists aren't huge, but contain solid options. Staff is super nice.

Yelp
I ordered the secret sandwich again by around 2:30pm. It was a lot better the first time. I think they slumped out o the pate and mustard. Nevertheless, still good. After lunch rush hour you have to wait at this sign at the bar to have your order taken. It is awkward as the Danke service(wo)men do their thing while you stand in front of a sign with some people eating at the bar. I'm willing to put up with it, but my expectations to spend so much for a sandwich is pretty high. I might end up going back to Pret A Manger. If you are looking for friendly service, don't expect it. You are paying for interesting combinations that are focused on rustic bread, meat, and cheese with a side of attitude brushed with a smile. ----- Original Price is typical. Had the Secret Sandwich. Very good. The mustard complemented the cheese and liver, and were most standout flavors. The bacon and arugula were mostly filler. Turnaround is quick, and you are called with buzzers, which allow time for scouting, tables of other foo

Yelp
Tried this out in the awesome revival food hall, but wasn't excited by the food from Danke. I ordered a roast beef sandwich, the bread and fillings were very fresh... however, the sandwich was bland and lacked flavor. I may be bias as I am not a big fan of cold sandwiches. I craved roast beef and was disappointed. The $12 did not help either. On the other hand, my daughter had a really yummy cheese sandwich. That was well made, but $7 for cheese sandwich...

Yelp
This is one of my favorite stands at Revival food hall. I keep bringing friends here for lunch who are always thrilled with their order. The sandwiches are amazing. The bread, the condiments, the cheese, the deli meat - these are not your typical deli sandwiches. The bread is glorious. It's the perfect baguette. It's crispy and fresh. The deli meat is incredible. I am a big fan of a prosciutto sandwich they have on their menu. It is wonderful. Everything looks and tastes like it was hand crafted specifically for you. They have happy hour specials. You can also have a glass of wine or beer with your meal. My only thing with Revival Food Hall is how busy it gets. Sometimes it's impossible to get a table and sometimes it's too loud. It is to be expected given the location and type of business it is. Really wonderful place.

Yelp
Great sandwiches, great price, super friendly staff. Happy to support during these tough times.

Yelp
Danke had a short, reasonable line at Revival today. I opted for the grilled ham and cheese. Despite the short line, my sandwich took 11 minutes, a little long in my opinion. The sourdough bread made this sandwich for me! Not too heavy and toasted to crunchy perfection. The cheddar used was delicious and melted perfectly. The ham and pickles were not super flavorful or unique unfortunately. Just under $10, so inexpensive for Revival. I will be back to try other sandwiches, especially the Italian Spiderman!

Iris S.

Yelp
The people who work here are wonderful. My daughter was having a rough week and the kindness of one of their employees really made her incredibly happy. The food is great too!
google avatar

Yihao J.

Yelp
"It's all about the bread" While relatively new on the scene, Danke has already cemented itself as one of my favorite sandwich stops, in large part because the bread is just that good. Their baguette has a great crust, matched with a soft and chewy inside. It's got character to it, with a nice bite and a subtle honey and toasted almond flavor. I always go for the smoked turkey sandwich (10/10), which I think is even better if you toast it and let the cheese melt. Another winner is their duck liver mousse, which is creamier, richer and more flavorful than most I've had, but it needs to be that way to go side-by-side with the bread.

Yelp
Our first stop at the "food court." We had a bit of wine and a charcuterie board. All was fantastic and I look forward to returning.
google avatar

Jenny R.

Yelp
This is the sidekick of Table, Donkey & Stick in the Logan Square space of a former Michelin rated super meaty-spot that was infamous. Here there seems to be a few good options for vegans/GF- needs although their charcuterie and wine menu always looks lovely. They are really the only spot in Revival that does wine and makes the kind of food you want to get without the fussiness of a restaurant. I got an amazing pickled blueberry and kale side salad and the best tomato soup of my life. Regardless of the super fresh ingredients, and really great and wine curation, I have to review on its undeniably horrible service as mentioned in other reviews. I've been here a few times both by myself and with others, and the service has always been cold, unfriendly and unwilling to pour any drop more than 1/8 of a stemless for a glass of wine. Today my unhappy hipster server poured my wine in a plastic cup I then asked for it in a glass as I sat at the bar and it was literally like 2 inches of wine in the glass and it was insulting. I asked if it was a regular pour and this dude with a face tattoo just nodded yes. Today was the last straw (stick, donkey, table, whatevs) -- I took my Mom here for lunch and she got a sandwich that sounded phenom - I asked her how it was, she said one side of the bread was rock solid. I didn't get that. I told her to speak up. The guy with the face tattoo did nothing but show apathy, then go speak to what looked to be a manager sitting off the side of the bar near us while I stared at them in awe of their rudeness basically laughing at whatever 'complaint' they thought we made. (She was sitting with a laptop towards the Smoque end of the bar ...noticed our issues/dissatisfaction and said/did nothing)... Previously remember a bad experience with a hipster server that didn't care -- potential diners BEWARE, this place has bad service that just really doesn't warrant spending money here because of the really bad attitudes, straight up. Re-evaluate who you hire, Donkey...or you'll make an ass out yourself.

Yelp
This is one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Easy. The crusty bread. The meat. Toppings. All of it. It's pricey and worth it. I've had several different sandwiches there and you can't go wrong. Strongly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Inglorious Batard. Sooooo good. Batard bread, cottage ham, salted butter and a special house-made pickle gardinera. Wow, so good. And the entire sandwich was $10. That is a deal for downtown Chicago! The flavors on that sandwich (and more importantly the temperature of the ingredients) were perfect. I would eat here multiple times per week if I could. They have a good position being semi-up front inside the Food Hall once you enter the door on be Clark St side.

Yelp
One of those late nights everting was closed but the owner gave me some food. First off, it was delicious and most importantly she went out of her way when she could have just said "we're closed" Check them out - FYI It was delicious

Yelp
Would have been nice if the 3 people behind the counter could have figured out how to give me the right sandwich. Update: the House made baguette was burnt, like disgusting burnt

Yelp
I eat here quite a bit and it's always on point. The staff is great, too. Tegan always takes great care of me at the bar. My favorite lunch combo is to get the farro & apple salad along with a grilled cheese. Simple and delicious. I'll be back, a lot.

Yelp
The food is just ok to be honest. The staff on the other hand...pretty terrible. The chubby brunette woman has the worst attitude I have seen. I sat at the bar and waited a few minutes before having to wave someone down for service. She rolled her eyes and reluctantly took our order. The staff was more interested in their phones and talking amongst each other (having loud completely inappropriate conversations) then providing quality service. If the food was better I might be able to give the service a pass. Save your money and go to potbelly around the corner.

Yelp
Just goes to show you, you can't believe everything you read in the Trib. I tried the "secret" sandwich (duck liver mousse, pork belly, Swiss cheese, mustard) after reading about it in the Wednesday Food section. Got PLENTY of greens, WAY too much pork belly, and ALMOST enough Swiss cheese and mustard to distract you from the fact that there was (next to) NO mousse. Seriously. The whole point of trying the sandwich and the "star" is not even getting upstaged... the "star", apparently, is valet parking cars in the lot behind the theatre, going through the cup holders for spare change and seeing if there's maybe a bit of a spliff in the ashtray. Complete no-show. So, for what amounted to a greasy ham and cheese you'll get set back $14 (with moderate tip... if you don't get a drink). Or, if you learn from my mistake, you won't.... Live long and prosper.

Yelp
I have eaten at Danke both for personal lunch and used them just yesterday for catering. I am so please with how everything turned out! About the same price as crappy Corner Bakery, but great quality and taste. The charcuterie style sandwiches, picked veggies, and chickpea/kale salad was a hit. Everyone was excited and asking where the food was from. It was a really important meeting so I was nervous, but Tegan arrived on time and everything was perfect. She is easy and great to communicate with. My favorite thing to eat for lunch (I haven't tried everything yet) is the grilled cheese sandwich and parsnip soup (sounds strange, but it's tasty and I actually crave it!). Thanks for being a dependable and tasty catering option!

Yelp
Stopped by Danke whilst the Missus and I were visiting the Revival Food Hall. I decided to have the bratwurst which was served with "proprietary cheese whiz" and Ritz crackers. I must say that I quite enjoyed it and would order it again. The service was good and the servers were cordial. My only complaint, and it's not necessarily a big deal, is that $10.95 for a bratwurst is a little high in my opinion. All in all, a very good stop for lunch if you're in the area.

Yelp
I didn't eat here but sat down to get a glass of wine with my meal. For the house white it's $8.50 and this is the "measured" pour. So sad.

Yelp
I had one of the best sandwiches ever. Everything about it was delicious. I loved the smoked turkey and emmental cheese with the baguette and mustard. It was perfect. I can't wait to go back and try the other sandwiches.

Yelp
Overpriced, basic sandwiches. Two sandwiches and a beer will run you $30 with taxes. The bread was extra hard on our sandwiches. I had to tear mine up into small pieces to chew.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place given the unique veg jackfruit BBQ sandwich on the menu. The woman taking my order expressed no emotion, even staring back at me blankly when I asked how her day was going. I placed my order and am still amazed that she didn't speak a word to me. Awful service aside, my sandwich was served a few moments later. Went to go grab a seat near the front of Revival and found it was ice cold. Thinking that maybe I simply wasn't used to the preparation, I took a bite. Can't even describe how revolting this was. Everything was cold and the bread was rock solid. I was at a work lunch, otherwise would've taken it back to the counter (not that the "personable" cashier would've been likely to do anything about it). My colleagues even insisted because they could see how sorry this dish looked. Strike this one off your list of places to try in Revival. Sigh.

Yelp
So another solid edition to revival food court. Similar to the fat shallot but a little higher end and frankly hasn't suffered quality fade (MBA for $300 Alex!) Danke is a place doing simple right hot sandwiches with chips. I had the roast beef. Melted provolone was gooey. The horseradish made my nose run and the bread was a quality baguette. My only complaint is the roast beef looked gray, that said the taste was good. The soda and chips were great and the combo was only 3 extra. I will be back to try the smoke turkey.

Yelp
Food is pretty okay, nothing special and definitely items over-priced. Grilled cheese with ham was good but the tomato soup was so greasy. The registers are set to a 15% tip and no one mentions a tip while paying. It's just a comment to "sign here". Be aware.

Yelp
Well the sandwiches are really good but the customer service was horrible I had never been here before and went on a busy Friday I had a few questions and the woman at the counter was really rude Stared right through me and acted like I was really nuts until she mumbled something and walked away I stood there waited 10 more minutes she came back I still had the same questions and she was really aggressive towards me It's to bad for that I'll never come to this place again But the sand which was really good!

Yelp
Danke is arguably one of the only places in the entire Revival Food Hall with a vegan option. You'd think a place as diverse as a food hall would have more vegan options, but that's usually not the case. These places only cater to meat eaters, which is probably why my vegan sandwich was not pleasant at all. The bread was super hard and almost inedible, and the vegetables didn't mesh well together or with the bread. Bad food like this should not be allowed on the menu even if it placates a subset of the population. On the contrary, it'll make them even angrier.

Yelp
I've had the turkey sandwich from Danke twice now. The second time my bread was pretty burnt and I had to deconstruct some of the sandwich. Other than that the sandwich is perfect it's so fresh and tasty. It's pretty expensive, $12 after tax for just the sandwich, which is why I'm only giving Danke 4 stars. If Danke was less expensive I would eat there way more!
