"Dar Marrakesh is a casual Morrocan place, located amidst about a dozen Maroush-esque restaurants serving identical menus. Funnily enough, this is also the home of a confusingly located but brilliant tasting halal birria taco pop-up: make sure to try a couple of those. Get any of the couscouses and tagines for a comforting and warming iftar, which make Dar Marrakesh easily one of the best places to eat on Edgware Road. It will be open for iftar as well as an early suhoor." - Maazin Buhari

Booked the table in the morning for 24th of Dec no information was provided. When I went there I have been told the dinner rates are £50 per person and for new year its going to be £60 post person. Always check very unreliable and great way of ripping of customers on eventful nights. Greedy and shameful act.

Refurbished & revamped since i last came here. Great atmosphere and incredible service from Walid. Shisha is really good & smokes well. Desserts were a good portion. Heaters all over which is always a plus in UK weather! Clean and looks good. Definitely coming back here

•Where: Dar Marrakesh - Edgeware Road @dar_marrakesh •Occasion: 23rd Birthday Meal with work fam •What I ordered: Lamb Shish with rice, Curly Fries and drink: Magic Amazon Shisha: Blue Mist, Skittles and Irn Bru. •What I thought: It was a bit slow at the start, no one gave us any menus. I think we waited about 15minutes till someone handed out the menus. Once we ordered our food and drinks only 2 drinks came and we had to wait another 5-10mins before all our other drinks and food came together. However the food was amazing! I was scared the meat was going to be chewy but it was not at all & had lots of flavour. The gave me chilli sauce which was medium hot - it allowed me to have spicy food while tasting all the other flavours. The rice perfect with the meat and on its own. Loved every bite. Now the curly fries were toooo good. Even my friends loved it we bought more. I wanted a nice sweet drink, the Magic Amazon was perfect. It was very sweet with apple & lime taste - loved it. We shared 3 shishas between 6 people. We all had our favourites. I personally liked the skittle & blue mist. The Irn Bru was too minty for me. Only downside was it was very cramped up we all we’re squished together at the shisha garden which is separate to the restaurant section. •Rate: 4/5💜

Great service and loads of comfortable seating. A number of screens all around to catch any big sporting events that are on. A very nicely furnished restaurant on the inside. Shisha garden has plenty of heating and covered space

The food was very nice and the atmosphere was great, but the sheesha wasn't great and also the seating was very congested and uncomfortable, we had to constantly get up to allow people to get through. The staff provided a good level of service but because the main reason for me was to have a good sheesha i was abit disappointed

Nice ambience, live belly dancer, shisha lounge in garden area, nice flavoursome food. Busy in weekends, service can be slow due to this otherwise great friendly staff.

Best food I’ve had in London so far. The service was so good, I was afraid it wouldn’t be because someone else said they were nicer to middle easterners. The tacos were amazing 😻

Yelp
The hummus was very good. The lamb was slightly over cooked & could have used a little more seasoning. However the service was amazing and we will be coming back to have hookah's before we leave London

Yelp
For years now, this is my shisha spot on Edgware Road. Forget everything else around, the fact that this is a refurbished pub so alcohol is available as well as a private shisha area in the back, I'm a happy chappy! The staff have always looked after me (most obvs because I was like their weekly bringing a gang with me each time lol). Their food is lovely and shisha is BOOM. It's the only place where parting with my money is okay for the experience - considering how expensive one is in Central London. From Irn Bru to Skittles, they've got a crazy range of flavours and so expect this place to always be busy. The sooner you get here, the better. Oh and I went here for New Years since they held an event, I danced my socks off in the later hours at this but it was so packed, my granny self probably can't handle it anymore :D

Yelp
Ever since my trip to Marrakech I have developed a new appreciation for a good tagine so having the chance to visit this newly refurbished restaurant/ shisha bar was great. I went there on Saturday afternoon for dinner. We had the lamb and the kofta tagines, the kofta was amazing, the lamb was ok but felt a little bit under seasoned. As sides we got the dolma and the calamari. The dolmas melted in your mouth and were pretty good (served warm as they should be). The calamari was a bit harder to chew so as a Greek person I would rate it ok but nothing great. The side sauce the starters came with was great though. After the food we decided to try the cocktails. I had the Guilty which tasted like alcoholic dessert, so right up my street, and I also tried the fireman, good for whiskey drinkers bit not really my cup of tea. In terms of atmosphere I think the restaurant tries to be more posh than it is but the massive screens with the football on everywhere you look are incongruous with the atmosphere they are trying to create. There is also a semi- outside area for shisha which feels more Moroccan but it was full of football fans and smoke. In general I think it's good enough but maybe not as authentic as it could have been and it could do with a few more authentic Moroccan dishes in the menu.

Yelp
If I could leave one star I would !! Thhe big black Guy slammed my finger in the piano when I was trying to help him om ! He was rude he called me out my nAme and carried on with out saying sorryy . I am American ! Worst cUstoomer service I have EVER experienced

Ahmed K.

Yelp
As an American visiting for a month, it's hard to find a decent shisha bar without ridiculous prices. This place has beautiful AND delicious food, outstanding customer service, and amazing shisha. I'll continue to come here every time I'm in town, best place in London!

Yelp
This place is fantastic. I arrived around 10pm and wanted 3 things: something to eat, something to drink, and some relaxed hookah with friends. Dar Marrakesh delivered on all 3 fronts: great food (I had shish taouk), a massive glass of wine, and amazing watermelon shisha on an outdoor open terrace. I came on a Thursday night and there was a fun mix of Arabic, Hindi, and bad American pop songs on offer for international karaoke. Really fun spot on Edgware Road. I expect I'll be back.

Yelp
An evening of atrocious service, forgotten orders, excuses and general disappointment. Unfortunately, I think even one star is being generous on this occasion. The belly dancing was good but the courtesy Spanish music in a Moroccan / Middle Eastern restaurant was different. The music was good never the less. 0.5 of 5

Yelp
In London on holiday and was looking for an outdoor space with shisha. This is definitely a place for the "cool" kids and in this case I'm not being sarcastic. The vibe was definitely chill and the shisha was pleasant. If I'm ever back in London I will certainly come back to this place!

Yelp
Belly dance + Sheesha + Kebabs + Wine + Arabic music P.S. - The veg platter is awesome!

Yelp
Dar Marrakesh's menu and decor were the highlight of our visit, while the service and seating arrangements were average. Upon arrival, we were greeted and sat on the edge of the restaurant in a cramped corner for five people. We asked for a new seat were moved again to a small table meant for two, finally relocating ourselves a third time to a comfortable table for 5 that opened up nearby. My reservation was never acknowledged by the restaurant on OpenTable which I had to resolve with them later. The food and hookah were excellent - I had the kofta tangine, which was well-seasoned but not too salty, as I have found kofta can be sometimes. All of my friends' dishes were also very good, notably a shared vegetable platter and delicious hummus. The wine selection was well-rounded and we enjoyed two flavors of hookah: a fruity, watermelon flavor and something more tropical that was refreshing but a little bit soft. Good music, Moroccan decor, and a diverse crowd contributed to a great ambience. The service could have been better for such a staffed restaurant, though. We interacted with and were helped by way too many staff, who were often confused about what we needed because so many different people took different orders and brought different items to the table (food, wines, hookahs, etc)., but at other times were wondering where all of these staff had gone when we needed something. All in all it was a good experience with great cooking, satisfying hookah, and great beverages, although I think it might be better for couples with regards to seating/service.

Yelp
A very good shisha bar in town. It serves alcohol which is a must and also has the football on tv. Food is fantastic

Yelp
For the price, this place is excellent! We went just for food, and it didn't disappoint. I had the lamb tagine, which was sweet and savory, just like a lamb tagine should be. My wife had the chicken taginew which was nice and savory. Excellent flavor from both. The service can be a bit slow, but the food more than made up for it.

Yelp
Amazing vibes. The belly dancer was a good source of entertainment. Almost a club vibe going on with the music. Really reasonable price £15 for shisha isn't bad at all.

Yelp
This place is great, definitely very different compared to other shisha cafes in and around London. It feels like a community when you come here because everyone is so friendly. It has a young vibe, great music, buzzing atmosphere and has all the ingredients for an amazing night out for any weekend. I've actually visited this place quite a lot, and did do my birthday party here. The staff are very helpful, and really friendly. I've started to become quite a regular and they all know my name which makes you feel very welcomed. Excellent customer service. They serve good quality morrocan food, and also have a lively bar which on the weekend makes a good alternative to going to a London club. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, during the week its perfect for a quiet drink or a good meal at great value. On the weekend its a great alternative to clubbing. Love this place!!
