I was pleased with the brunch journey tried at Dar. Although the food came in small(er) portions, at the end of the brunch we were truly full! The brunch journey is truly a great option to try their top dishes.
We particularly enjoyed the glazed fried chicken, very crispy! The yoghurt and granola was also interesting and original and had a nice oriental kick. I also enjoyed the Harira, although quite reinterpreted from the original Moroccan one (Dar’s one has more a tomato taste). The durum was underwhelming and I felt it removed some of the originality offered. The same was for the T scramble and the lemon cake, not particularly memorable. I would have definitely proposed some Msemen or Moroccan pancakes, perhaps smaller. The latte was okay - we didn’t know that there was no daily milk. I loved my green tea: right amount of sugar. The espresso was also good.
I would recommend Dar, even if once arrived, we had to wait 10 minutes standing (not because it was full, but because waiters wanted to prepare all the tables). Waiters were friendly, the vibe was chilled. It’s nice to see originality in Zurich and I am looking forward to more recipe of Moroccan heritage.
