We noticed this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly impressed by the serene atmosphere and attentive service. We ordered lamb shank and lamb chops. Not a long wait especially for lamb, about 25-30 minutes. Both dishes were prepared exquisitely and tasted like pure goodness. The tenderness of the lamb smothered in the spices was extraordinary. Looking forward to returning again.

I had the fortune to spend two years of my childhood in Morocco, and when I moved to the US I craved moroccan food all the time. I was so pleased to find this gem so close to where I live! I decided to go and eat with my sister today and what a wonderful experience, the service was great, the place was beautiful, and our server Hsna was super kind and took really good care of us! The chicken bastilla satisfied all the cravings I have been having and the lamb tajin was delicious! I would definitely come back🙌🏼

I absolutely love Florida's diverse food scene! After a year of planning, we finally tried Dar Tajine in Plantation, Florida & it exceeded expectations. The ground beef briwat, Moroccan bread, royal couscous with lamb shank, mixed grill, & chicken bastille were all phenomenal!

I was looking for a good Moroccan restaurant and find this one on google. It was amazing. The food was very delish and authentic. My server Abdellah was incredible. Not only he was super friendly but he was also patient and compassionate. He took his time explaining the menu to me and ingredients I did not understand, and made great suggestions. I will definitely come back and I hope to have Abdellah again. After all, it’s easy to have good food these days, but really hard to have good service. Thank you.

Me and my family went here as we were looking for a good dinner spot, I've been to Morocco for close to a month and loved it so I was looking forward to having some of that experience back. The atmosphere was really nice, it was dim and the decorations were all Moroccan inspired. I thought the Tajine and grill were pretty good, although I felt the size of the grill was a bit small. The Moroccan tea was great! I do think that the service could be improved as there was only one waiter who was expected to man so many tables which led to some confusion on his end. I think if they hire more staff, they can more efficiently run the restaurant and be more time punctual. I would still recommend a visit.

this is the first time I have been. A friend has Then recommending it. We went today for lunch. It was absolutely phenomenal. I had the lentils, beet salad, and the lamb chops with saffron rice. The food is amazing. It was very quiet because we went when they first opened. They have a huge takeout that’s nonstop. If you’re thinking about it or even if you haven’t thought about it, you should definitely go. You will not be disappointed. One of the best restaurants I have been to in a very long time.

Ask the kids , how would they rate the stars - answer- 6. 1st visit to a Moroccan restaurant Dar Tajine. Youssef was a fun waiter who's menu suggestions were good. Bright colors, designs and cushions. Even a small leather ornate light ( see pix) Food tasty but not overly spicy. For us who are not big eaters, portions were fine and favorable with a touch of left overs. A small bread loaf came with 2 small cups one sweet like a mayo the other spiced. I did ask for a bread to go (charged an extra $4.00 not being told) though even had I been told, I'd likely still have bought it to top off the leftovers but might have asked for additional dips (I take a star away for that) I do suggest the mint tea served flamboyantly in silver tea pot with special potholder handle in little glasses. The chicken- tasted like - chicken. The lamb shank - fall off of bone soft ( see pix) was yummy. The suggested and ordered dessert were 5 small assorted fresh cookies. Do plan to be back.

I tried this restaurant with my friend who said it's one of her favorite restaurants. I ordered one of the specialities, Lamb Shank Tangine. It comes with either vegetables or prunes and almonds, I chose the vegetables. I found it quite bland. I was expecting a more flavorful seasoned taste. I had some leftovers the next day, and had to add some seasoning at home. The server was friendly, but after she delivered us the food, she didn't come by once to check on our meal, and it was not crowded. If she did, I may have asked for more seasoning, but I didn't want to impose. My friend loved her meal. So all in all, I would try this restaurant again, but one of the other offerings from the interesting menu.

What a beautiful restaurant! I placed a to go order and within about 20 mins I had my steaming hot chicken couscous. The portions are huge and tasty, but I felt like it needed some sort of sweetness to balance the dish. Maybe some sort of dried fruit? Regardless, the restaurant is beautiful and I will definitely be back to try their other dishes.

Great flavors, great food. We ordered take out on a Friday night. The soups are fabulous, bread too. We had the lamb and the seafood tajines with a side of couscous. The safron rice is also good. We will go back!

Been here several times, the flavors have always been fantastic. Went last night with my brother, we ordered: 1/2 Chicken Tagine, Kafta Tagine, Mixed Grill, and some bread and side salad. Again everything tasted great - BUT - the Mixed Grill was HALF the portion size we were expecting, especially at a $27 price tag Service was ok, the waiter was on his phone the entire time, but not a big deal. Ambiance was nice as always. Would definitely recommend going here, just don't order the Mixed Grill unless you're ok paying 2-3x what the price should be.

I was really excited to come try this place!! Decoration is so beautiful!! Transports you to Morocco wii hi Ike still being in plantation!!! Food was also amazing!! We ordered the lamb dish couscous and also the chicken pie!! Soooo good. I loved the pie. Perfect amount of sweet and salty!! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is bc they didn't have coffee so I didn't get to have coffee and dessert and I'm a hugeeeee coffee person. But reason to come back!! And I will!! To try that coffee!

I love this Moroccan restaurant. The food is authentic and yummy flavors . The portions are good sizes and the service was great . The waiter checked on us few times and the ambiance is cute with the Moroccan decorations . They also sell clothing and decorations . I love it when you go to an international restaurant and they keep it with the ethnicity of that country . I think that is important so you can get the full experience of that culture . This place the decor , music , food , tea make me feel I went to Morocco for the day .

I came here yesterday with the wife for lunch. I will first start off by saying the decorations of the restaurant are amazing. So because and authentic. Makes you feel like you are in Morocco. The food here was very good. We had the couscous lamb shank and the chicken pie (forgot the name sorry!) It was delicious. Thr pie was the best. Sweet and salty. So good. The couscous dish brought so much food that we took home enough for lunch for two the next day!! It was a shame they ran out of the coffee there because we wanted to have that but it's an excuse to come back!!

Morocco has been on my travel bucket list for a long time, so you can imagine how excited I was to discover that we have Moroccan cuisine right here in Broward! I ordered the mint tea with the chicken briwat appetizer and the seafood tajine with rice as my entree. The mint tea was pleasantly sweet without being overwhelming, and had a subtle flavor that I really enjoyed. I only ordered a small pot this time, but I'm pretty sure I could go through a large all by myself! I absolutely love that they pour the tea from a height for you too, it really made the experience. The chicken briwat had so much flavor packed into each roll and was served piping hot and perfectly crispy. I also really liked the tajine - the seafood was cooked well, and the tomato-based sauce was flavorful without being too acidic. There were so many tasty-sounding dishes on the menu, I can't wait to come back and try some more! The colorful, decorative interior of the restaurant was very inviting, and I was thoroughly impressed with the service. Our waiter was friendly and so attentive despite handling all the tables himself. He answered all of my questions about allergens and took care to keep the glasses full at our table for the duration of our visit. If you find yourself in Broward, be sure to make time to experience the flavor and hospitality at Dar Tajine!

Once in awhile, something so unique comes around that you have no choice but to try it. This was the case with Dar Tajine. Dar Tajine, point blank, is special. It's the only one of its kind down in South Florida. It's been around for several years now and it proudly serves Moroccan food. Having never been to Morocco, I have no idea how authentic their food really is. My companion on this foodie adventure, though, has been and he said it lined up pretty well. We're already planning a return visit. That being said, because I don't know a lot about this culture, I do have to ask myself what is typical. Yes, the food is one matter, but I want to express my thoughts on the service first. America has this whole "the customer is always right" mentality, so maybe I'm thinking of it in terms of being American. Keeping that in mind, I will tell you that the service annoyed me beyond belief. The first strike was when I called them on the Wednesday before our dinner. They say they open close to noon. Well, it took three calls before I even received an answer. I called them near opening time, about an hour later, and finally around 5 PM. It was that last one where I spoke to an employee and was suggested heavily to make a reservation for Saturday, so I did. Party of two for 7 PM Saturday night. Then Saturday arrives and we are running behind schedule. I get asked if there is any possibility of pushing the reservation to 8 PM. Sure, no problem, I'll call. Well, I called and called and called... *crickets chirp* We wound up rushing over as I couldn't get anyone on the phone and we really wanted to go to this restaurant. Strike two. Upon arrival at the restaurant, I am downright floored because the majority of the tables had paper slips with the names of the reservations. Yet almost all the tables were empty. Even later as the crowd came in, I couldn't understand how if they had an empty restaurant, no one could pick up the phone. The entire time we were there only once was the phone picked up, and at least being at the restaurant, I could see why. They're severely understaffed and it took forever to get anything. Strike three. Despite these shortcomings, I'm a fan. The food was unlike anything else I've ever had. To begin with, they don't sell alcohol, so it's either water or soda. You can have coffee or tea, too, but that tends to be best for later on in the meal. A note on the menu - they have a paper there saying prices are subject to change. I guess they are waiting for new menus to come in. As far as food goes, he ordered the royal couscous, which is lamb shank with Merguez (a type of sausage made with ground meat and Moroccan spices) with veggies on top of a bed of couscous served in warm seasoned broth. I don't like lamb in general, but I sampled it. It was tender and flavorful. The sausage, too, followed suit. It was a dish that was doused in diverse meat and so much seasonings that somehow worked in unison. My companion loved it. I found myself heavily wishing I liked red meat more. Because of the aforementioned, when I saw the half chicken tajine, I knew that was the plate for me. All the tajines brought a salad (a decent one, too) and your choice of rice or pita bread. I chose rice which came to me in a fluffy yellow color that was both pleasing to the eye and to the palette. The actual chicken meanwhile came with green olives and preserved lemon. I feel the olives could've been cooked more but nevertheless paired well with the chicken and lemon. The chicken had some parts where there was too much bone and also a tad of dryness, but the sauce it came with rectified this problem and just made me curse the cut of the chicken. I think they need to get rid of all these unnecessary bones. The sauce of the half chicken tajine meanwhile was so great that my companion kept grabbing bites of my dish. Hey, better for me: sharing is caring. That and I was already eyeing the desserts. Here the desserts are an assortment, and when you ask for dessert, you get brought to you at least four cookies made out of flour and nuts. There is sadly no chocolate, but you won't miss it. The cookies are grand, especially as they're heavy and tend to be had with either coffee or tea. We had our dessert with a medium mint tea. It came in a beautiful teapot and they poured it in front of us. I wish I had had the foresight to capture it on video because it was magical. The mint tea, too, was a rich and warm color, and drinking it, I will tell you I was reluctant to do so. I don't favor mint tea typically, but this one might have converted me. It may perhaps be all the sugar, but who knows? It's a winner. When everything's said and done, I honestly find myself debating between three or four stars. This should be an easy four stars, but the grievances put me in quite a mood. Still, given that we would delightfully go back, I think that says everything. Four stars but barely. Hoping next time they have their kinks worked out!

Anyone who knows me, knows I like to source out unusual spots, for everything. So on a visit to plantation I sourced Dar Tajine. I am a tab hand at making Moroccan food, but I wanted to sample some Moroccan street food albeit being surrounded in a Moroccan oasis and this place offers this. The decor is Moroccan, colourful with beautiful lighting. They even have goods to purchase such as tagines, and some household things. We enjoyed the ritual of having the Moroccan tea. We found the music choice rather weird though, it was kinda jazz? which did not go with the aesthetics in our opinion. We tried various foods. Worthy of a stop if you are adventurous.

This was my first time trying Moroccan food and I think I made the right choice by choosing this place . I had the half chicken Tajine and one of the chicken pastries with almonds on the side . Both were great and the seasonings were savory but not overwhelming That chicken pastry has got to be one of the most interesting yet delicious flavors ! This was my favorite part of the meal. Appetizers were great but it's amazing how something as simple as a well brewed cup of mint tea can relax you and add to the ambiance of the place This was one of my favorite food ventures I've had in a while I urge other people to give them a try The ratings are well justified

Last night was my second time at this elegant establishment. I love the decor. It really transports you to Morocco for the imagination. (Never been but do plan to go). The mint tea is a wonderful way to start. The beet salad is scrumptious. We had the family 4- person platter for three of us. Yes we love food and when it's deliciously seasoned - who can stop wanting it. Love the lamb chops but the chicken, beef and kafta kabobs did not fall behind in amazing taste. We had to forgo dessert . This is a definite repeat.

My friend and I ate here on Saturday and we both loved it. The restaurant was really nice inside and Moroccan themed. We had the sampler appetizer and it was delicious. I had the chicken couscous and my friend had the seafood tagline. The bread was authentic Moroccan bread and the dessert sampling was just as good. Be sure to get the Moroccan mint tea, It's also authentic. I was married to a Moroccan man and learned to cook Moroccan food very well and know this restaurant is the real thing. I will definitely go back if I have an opportunity. You can also purchase Moroccan items from this restaurant. The lady that waited on us did an excellent job and I believe she was Moroccan as well.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, but the food was disappointing. The Shakshouka was very oily and the Moroccan Harira Soup lacked flavor (the restaurant was out of most of the soups). The Seafood Tajine was okay, but pretty salty -- decent amount of seafood. The Half Chicken Tajine had great flavor and the portion was large. The Lamb Chops were extremely overcooked and tiny -- not worth the price. The rice was very good.

Went here for lunch with a friend and we loved it. I had the half chicken taljine that came with yellow rice. It was delicious. My friend had the lamb tanjine she was equally happy. I also ordered the chicken bastilla and it was good with powdered sugar over it. The mint tea was great. As was the Arabic coffee. This place is beautiful inside but back in the corner of a strip plaza. A true gem but I'm worried not enough people know about it as it's hidden. I really loved the music playing and the decor.

So many amazing things to say about this authentic restaurant. I found it by accident but it will become a favorite destination (20 mile drive for me) spot. EVERYONE is super friendly which I know should be a extra point but it's a welcoming addition. From the decorations to the AMAZING tea, to the smell of the spices, I'm a fan. Food is prepare while you wait so don't rush perfection.

The food is authentic, it's fresh, I enjoy the Moroccan music and decor. My favorite are the tajine dishes. The only thing I would like to see more is consistency. You can go one day and the chicken Tajine is cooked in more sauce and go another time and it feels like a rotisserie. They used to give you a salad or some small olives for the table but now they don't. The prices are fair but a salad or table bread should come with the food and it doesn't. Great Tea to wash down the food.

Delicious cous cous... So bad that wine is not available. I respect the people that dont drink, but I would like to enjoy the food with a glass of wine from the region. Don't forget to have a little baklava with mint tea as desert ... nice way to end your dinner! Service is good and ambiance typical from that area.

Chicken tagine is excellent, accompanying rice is just right as well. Flavor is balanced and the presentation is stunning. The food here really satisfied my craving for Moroccan cuisine. I really loved the mint tea as well, had to get seconds. This restaurant ambiance is also very relaxing and the setup makes you feel at home. The pricing is fair and I believe I paid a reasonable price for food this good. I will be coming back again, and with friends!

Amazing Moroccan restaurant with great ambiance! The service is outstanding. We ordered the Lamp Tajine which was delicious, the Grilled Chicken Kebabs and the Salads. You cannot leave without trying the Mint Tea and their Sweets. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back!

Yo! Try this place if you're looking for something new to try. I found this via a YouTube channel that promotes local businesses called "josiah eats". I'm not affiliated with then in any way but check him out if you're looking for south Florida hidden gems. I wish I tried the food he recommended but I ventured to choose my own. All of it was amazing. I don't have a clue what seasonings were used or how things were cooked, but that's the beauty of it too. I was thoroughly pleased with everything I got. I like that they have an online shop for accessories, but I wish you could order food from their website (why talk to humans if you don't have to. #usa) The royal salad was absolutely amazing. Im not huge into beets, but I'd def it again. Fair portioned and priced and assembled amazingly even for a to-go order which was impressive. The bisara soup tasted great but it's definitely a meal more than a side which I wasn't used to. Very thick and filling. Intense flavor, but when I saved it in the fridge it was like gelatin flub, which isn't a big deal but not appetizing. Hot it was great. Cold I'd call it cellulite soup. The chicken bastilla was probably the star of the show. $6.99 is fair priced. I can see how they profit plenty but still provided me with a new food experience. It's a little dry, but maybe it's supposed to be? I'm not a Moroccan food expert by any means. It needed some sort of sauce. Something sweet but spicy would be good. The best sauce I can think of would be chutney. India and Morocco are pretty far but I'd happily dip some bastilla in chutney given the chance. Lastly I got the chicken briwat. Simply put it reminded me of a chicken egg roll. 3 for 6 was decent. Overall extremely stoked this place exists and can't wait to return.

We had a great family dinner here. Hidden in a strip mall in Plantation, it does not look like much from the outside. But once you enter, you realize that Dar Tajine is a standout of the plaza. Impeccably decorated with Moroccan decor and with Moroccan music videos playing in the background, you feel like you've been transported to somewhere in Morocco. Everything we had was delicious, but the mint tea, lamb tajine, and Chicken Bastilla stand out. Prices were reasonable and the service was great. We plan on coming back again soon!

I dined at Dar Tajine I got the chicken bastille, which was a small sweet and savory dish, and the beef tajine. Service was great and the food was so flavorful. I savored every bite of it. The chicken bastille was a flaky pastry with powdered sugar and almonds while the beef tajine was served with prunes inside a deeply rich stew. The restaurant is an unassuming little hole in the wall in a strip plaza. I would definitely come back for the food!

This was the first time I've have Moroccan food and I was impressed. The atmosphere seems very authentic and it was draped in beautiful cloth and decorations. The waiter was kind and helped my group pick out what to eat. We had a sampler platter for an appetizer which was great to pair with their bread. We then had lamb chops and chicken tajine for dinner. The chicken was very tender so I didn't need a knife to cut it.

The food reminds me of my trip to Morocco. Very flavorful, tender and have all the tastes of Moroccan delights. Didn't get the opportunity to go inside the restaurant, I ordered through Caviar. When it arrived, it was packaged well. I ordered the Lamb shank Tajine with prunes and almonds as well as Moroccan delights. It was good.

There are good reasons to eat here, but we left disappointed. Some of the appetizers were t available at 5:30 on a Friday.. We shared a delicious roasted eggplant starter, and a tasty chicken pie. The lamb kebabs, however, were pretty bad. The bed of rice was delicious, but the lamb had the consistency of overcooked leftovers, dry and tough, almost impossible to cut and chew. It tasted good. But there's no excuse for this. For a Moroccan restaurant to serve that awful lamb, which should be terrific, is unforgivable. The service is warm and the setting attractive and comfortable. Our waitress did something odd, however, in clearing off the table and bringing the check while one of us was still eating. The service was rushed despite the fact that the place was not crowded, Now I know why.

I have had this restaurant bookmarked for some time. We are fans of Moroccan food - starting many years ago when I briefly visited the country and continuing fond memories after we met the owner of a wonderful Moroccan restaurant in Atlanta (He had been the host for the Moroccan delegation during the Olympics there). Unfortunately, there are not many places that serve this cuisine in South Florida. We stopped here for lunch. I had called first to make sure they were doing inside dining (because of covid). Luckily for us, they were, and they were not busy. Tables inside were distanced so we felt comfortable. We started with a medium pot of mint tea. It came hot, fragrant, and already sweetened. It was served in small glasses as is traditional. We ordered a small chicken bastilla to start. It is baked layers of thin filo like pastry stuffed with chicken, almonds, eggs, and herbs. The outside was dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. It's one of my favorite dishes. It was aromatic and tasty. After the bastilla, we were served a house salad which came with our entree - a tagine that I had ordered. We shared the lamb shank tagine. The unique baking dish with its conical top was "presented" to the table; the top is removed dramatically (ta da!) to reveal the food below. The lamb was tender/fall off the bone, with a couple prunes and apricots, and almond slivers. We spooned the sauce over the meat and the accompanying yellow rice. For dessert, we tried their mixed "delights" - a variety of cookies with chocolate, coconut, and nuts. My favorite one was a short bread style cookie with a filling made from dates and topped with powdered sugar. If you like Moroccan food, you have to try this place. If you are curious about authentic Moroccan cuisine, this restaurant would provide a great introduction. I know we will be back.

Stuck in a rut on what to do for dinner, my boyfriend and I wanted something different and something we'd never tried before. A quick search on Yelp led us to this hidden gem. After reading all of the raving reviews, we made our way over. We shared a pot of mint tea and the chicken Bastilla for our appetizer. The tea is already sweetened and just what you need to open your palette for the array of flavors heading your way. We saw pictures and reviews of the chicken Bastilla which intrigued us so we knew we had to give it a try. The shredded chicken was a bit dry for me, but was flavored well and all the spices inside made it a delight to eat. For our mains, I had the beef tajine and my boyfriend had the lamb shank tajine. Both meats were so tender and buttery and the lamb practically fell off the bone. Both dishes were served with a mix of potatoes, carrots and other veggies so it was almost like a stew. We also ordered some fresh moroccan bread to soak up all that sauce and it was delish! For dessert, we shared the sampler which came with small authentic pastries and cookies. The service was great and the decor will make you feel like you're on a visit to Morocco. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back.

Cute decor and tasty food. The dishes here are full of flavor. I ordered the royal couscous which came with sausage (merguez) and lamb shank. The merguez was dry, accidentally overcooked but the lamb shank was like butter and the juices flavored the couscous. The meat tagine was so tasty. The meat was tender. The half chicken was delicious. Chicken Bastille was nice. Sweet and salty mixed together but the chicken in it was a bit dry. The good has a unique and flavorful punch. I love Moroccan food, and they do it well. I had the half chicken Tajine. It was a classic combination of roasted chicken with preserved lemon and green olives. It comes in a mild red sauce, and the flavors play beautifully off each other. The chicken falls off the bone, and blossoms in that beautiful marinade. Our other entree was the lamb shank couscous. It came with assorted veggies, and a seasoned broth. It was equally delicious, and left us eagerly awaiting our return.

This restaurant is by far the best one I've been to in Miami recently, and I've been to some of the hyped up places. We came in an hour before closing, and the restaurant was pretty busy. We were immediately greeted and given a table. The restaurant is decorated in Moroccan style and offers very comfy couches. The server took our order pretty quickly too. Moroccan music was playing the whole time creating a very authentic feeling. I loved the menu selection- being a pescatarian I appreciate seafood options on the menu, but vegetarians would also find a few items to try. We ordered a mint tea, seafood bastilla, kafta tajin, seafood tajin and homemade bread. The bread was hot and obviously just baked - so delicious. Seafood bastilla was tasty but tajins were to die for. They come with a side of rice. At the end, we ended up ordering another pot of mint tea and the sweets sampler, which came with 4 peaces of delicious house made sweets. Overall, this restaurant offers delicious food, great and fast service and amazing ambience. Can't wait to be back to try more dishes.

So let my say I am no expert in Moroccan and this was my first time trying the cuisine. Despite waking into a nearly empty restaurant and being a little worried, We were totally blown away. Get the mint tea to drink! They don't serve alcohol but the tea is so good- and really sweet! It's like a show when they pour it for you. We loved every single thing we ate- the royal salad (a platter with 4 salads in it), lamb shank tajine with prunes and almonds (SO GOOD), chicken bastilla- surprisingly sweet but couldn't stop eating it- and then finished with a plate of cookies. While still there we were already planning what we order next time. If you are at all hesitant, don't be. Just go!

Excellent tasting food. Both tarjine dishes were full of flavor and authentic tasting. Staff is friendly and ambiance lively. Highly recommend.

Great food, wonderful atmosphere and great service. All Couscous choices and Tajine dishes are amazing, as is their mint tea. This little Moroccan respite in Broward county was Mint to Be!!

Let's start with Muhammad warm welcoming to the restaurant and a big smile. The food, omg. So good and delicious! We started with Meat Breiwat appetizer I had the Couscous with chicken and vegetables, yummm And my friend had the Tajin Lamb Shank With prunes and almonds. Enjoyed every bite ( not to mention the desserts) Thank you for an awesome Moroccan experience We will be back

Part of my experiential learning for my term project is tasting authentic Moroccan cuisine. So I dragged my parents with me to Sunrise from North Miami! From the previous reviews, I can see it's been very popular and so I was not too worried about finding something to eat. I already had an idea that I'll be trying a dish with lamb! The restaurant was easy to find, and we were greeted as soon as we walked in by, Rasheeda! She took our drink orders after seating as at a corner booth, with posh and elegant throw pillows. The ambiance was comfortable and hospitable. We tried an eggplant appetizer, ordered a medium pot of mint tea and we all had different lamb shank dishes. Mine was with prunes and almonds, my dad had the one with couscous, and my mom had veggies with hers. We found the mint tea to be perfectly delightful as well as the dishes to be hearty and fall-off-the-bone tender! The saffron rice was perfectly cooked and tasting the couscous was divine. Noelis was very helpful and informative, just like Rasheeda and was able to give their insights on the cuisine and where I could also inquire about experiencing a religious ceremony at a local mosque. All in all, a wonderful and enlightening experience.

Authentic Moroccan food at its finest. Step into this delicious eatery and be enchanted by it's fine Moroccan music and tajine (Moroccan cooking pot) displays. Location- 8281 west Sunrise Blvd, Plantation Florida 33322. Decor- total authentic Moroccan displays. As you enter you will see a little shop section of beautiful kaftans ( Moroccan women's dress) with displays of tajines also known as the Moroccan cooking pot. And an array of sweets and cookies. You will also see a amaria. Which is a little seating structure used at weddings where they hold the bride up. The seating area is made of the couch like saloons that you would see in Moroccan housing. The lighting lamps as well were beautiful and traditional. Food- So delicious! From the hot honey:rose water mint tea to the salad arrangement. Salad was 4 sections with tomato/cucumber to eggplant zalouk which is like baba ganoush. The tajine we got was The leg of lamb smoked with herbs, olives and potatoes. So tender and delicious with the homemade Moroccan bread. The pastilla chicken was also delish. It's chicken with almond and a sprinkle of cinnamon crushed in a toasted pastry dough. Sounds odd but very delicious. The place is great for any occasion or any gathering whether it be social or intimate. The pricing is also not bad at all and the service was amazing. The waitresses were so helpful and kind. Definitely will be back again whenever around Miami area!
