Where to Drink Iced Coffee in Chicago

"Local caffeine giant Dark Matter has plenty of hits on its hands, but few cold coffees in the city are as revered as its Chocolate City cold brew. Fruity, nutty, sweet, and smooth, it’s hard to beat on a sweltering day. Other draft options include hoppy Brown Acid and nitro Black Splash. The company has locations in Lakeview, West Loop, West Town, and Avondale." - Naomi Waxman

Dark Matter Coffee - Review - Humboldt Park - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Dark Matter Coffee is a locally-owned company that makes excellent coffee. They roast their own beans at their Humboldt Park roastery, which is where they experiment with different methods, like fermentation and barrel-aging, to produce unique drinks. There are eight Dark Matter coffee shops across Chicago and each one is a little different—for example, one spot focuses on selling bags of beans, another is where you can try Mexican drinking chocolate. But all locations share the same psychedelic vibe (with names like Osmium or Electric Mud) and serve things like nitro coffee and drinks like the “wake and bake” latte, which is basically breakfast in a cup. Some of the shops have patios too, but you’ll probably want to sit indoors where you can gaze at the artwork on the wall and wonder whether it’s something Salvador Dali painted in a little-known steampunk phase." - Veda Kilaru

Dark Matter Coffee - The Mothership is a truly remarkable place. With its unique atmosphere, outstanding coffee and sustainable practices, it truly stands out from the crowd. The coffee served here is some of the most outstanding brews to ever grace the city. It starts with quality beans, roasted to perfection and blended into any flavor imaginable. The cold brew is particularly noteworthy- it is hands down one of the most delicious coffees in the city. The environment here is inviting and cosy too. With its unique decor, music and visuals, the atmosphere at Dark Matter Coffee is unlike anything else.

Super unique vibe with bold personality in every corner. The coffee is rich, strong, and full of flavor. definitely not your average cup. Loved the funky decor and laid-back energy. Great spot to hang out and sip something good.

Google
Loved the vibes and coffee! I had the iced mocha latte with oatmilk and it was great! Caffeine gave me a nice boost for the day! I will definitely be trying more from here.

Google
One of the funkiest Coffee joints I’ve been too. I love a place that takes their coffee making seriously. This was one of those places. Cool shop with mugs, shirts, skateboards, records and of course multiple different flavours and styles of coffee beans and grinds to purchase to take home. I had a basic Americano / long black which was smooth as silk and the misso had a hektik ice barrel vanilla / chocolate latte- epic Staff…. Or customer service was below average. Tried to make chit chat but the server either had no interest in chatting or has zero personality/socialisation skills which might make sense if he grew up reading comic books and playing Dungeons and Dragons so I can can’t fault him for being that way Overall great coffee Great atmosphere Awesome set up Zero people skills But all I really care about is the coffee

Daniel Randar

Google
Really excellent coffee. I go for beans, but the drinks are also great. Atmosphere is out of this world, staff always friendly/informed. Beans are $20-24/12oz, which is less painful when paired with the ‘free’ cup of drip. Constant creativity with their bean production, so you get what you pay for. Would be cool if there were some membership program to make the cost of beans a bit less.

Google
Cortado was excellent. Definitely one of the best that I have had. Barrel aged mocha was excellent. Unique flavor and subtle warmth. It reminded me of the warmth you experience after a whiskey 🥃 👽 The Mothership was such a cool experience. ☕️ Great coffee. Great atmosphere. Great service. Located outside of Downtown Chicago, it was a little drive out of the city 🏙️ but absolutely 💯 worth it. If visiting Chicago and you know coffee, I would make a point to stop by! Unicorn 🦄 blood 🩸 espresso blend beans are definitely recommended to take home! They roast their own beans so… 🤩 of course it’s taking some souvenirs home!

Google
I’ve been here 6 times total with my 🐱 in a backpack carrier. All of a sudden today one employee is extremely rude to me about it demanding that I never do this again. They need to get their Policies in order between staff members and not have it be a completely random free for all where everyone says something different. I won’t be going there for morning coffee ever again 🤗 , metric is a few blocks away and they talk to their customers respectfully

Google
Great addition to the coffee world: New flavors to try if you feel like you've seen most of what's to offer from the coffee in Chicago. The staff is incredibly kind and insightful, the atmosphere fits the aesthetic of the brand, and there are numerous products on site including a fridge of canned cold coffee, merch, chocolates, beans, and even some skateboards all produced by Dark Matter Coffee. Everything here is not overpriced either, I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more drinks next time I'm in Chicago. Things to be aware of: The spicy coffee is sweet but actually spicy so don't expect just a hit of spice, expect to be strangled Abit. There is no parking except street parking in the area and a lot nearby although I'm not sure how the lot is since I parked on the street in a nearby neighborhood. There are no bathrooms in this place but if you ask nicely and buy something they might let you use the employee restroom (don't ruin this opportunity for others by trashing it)

Google
Really nice cafe to get some work done while having some affordable drinks. There’s an indoor and outdoor space with plenty of tables. Not wheelchair accessible as there’s a step to get into the store and a bigger step to go outside.

Yelp
The storefront is supremely cool and galactic! I ordered a cappuccino and it was spot on. Then, we went down the block to their cafe as the seating was limited and it was too hot outside under the sun. I look forward to returning soon!

Yelp
Unique decor on the inside. Limited coffee drinks. Cool merch for sale. Friendly service. Wish that had seating inside.

Yelp
Firstly, I have to say that I really enjoy the interior of every Dark Matter Coffee shop I've been in. The staff is also very nice and pleasant to deal with as well. While I have had dark matter coffee in other locations, nothing seems to be better than actually going to their own shops. Their coffee is smooth, delicious, and balances the bitterness of coffee with the subtle notes naturally in the beans. So far, my favorite drink to get here is the whiskey barrel aged mocha. This drink is smooth, oakie (from the barrel), with a pleasant subtle but comforting whiskey flavor. You can also still taste the notes from the espresso used, which compliment the flavors. I also recommend using half & half over the regular milk for a smoother experience. I highly recommend Dark Horse Coffee, and if I could get this every day, I would. Maybe one day I'll try another option, but not today.

Yelp
I went to Dark Matter for my first time this morning and it exceeded my expectations! I've had Dark Matter before but have never been to the physical location and it was super cool! The interior is out of this world (wink, wink) and so different from your average coffee shop in all the best ways. I ordered the Dolor de Oro iced and it was very tasty and I really enjoyed that the habanero gave the drink an extra kick. In addition, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming which made the experience all that much better. I am looking forward to my next visit and thank you, Dark Matter, for a great first experience!

Yelp
Small coffee shop in the center of city. I had the dark chocolate mocha - it lived up to its rating. The coffee was great. I liked the ambience and people there - would recommend trying when you're around.

Yelp
Dark Matter is known for their impressive specialty coffee concoctions. After multiple people told us we needed to visit while in Chicago, we went to their location known as The Mothership on N Western Ave. They're known for their Draft Iced Coffee list, which are coffees at triple strength brewed hot then flash cooled. The Chocolate City Draft Iced Coffee was very smooth and an easy drinker for a regular warm day, one of their Draft Iced Coffees had beer hops that reminds me of an IPA-meets-Stout, and the Vanilla Suburbs Nitro is infused with cacao nibs and vanilla beans without any added sugar. As I was very indecisive and it was my first time there, the barista Rosemary was so kind and let me do small samples of these three Draft Iced Coffees, which was a great experience and honestly I think they should start selling coffee flights because their offerings are so unique and great for side-by-side comparisons. From their specialty drink menu, I went with the Iced Cafe Miel, which looked a lot like the iced caramel macchiatos you see at Starbucks because the honey drizzle around the sides looks like caramel. The Latin America espresso blend that they used for the Cafe Miel is called Unicorn Blood, and it went really nicely with the honey and oat milk in the drink. I loved learning that the honey used is sourced from the same farm in Guatemala as the coffee! They also make their own high-quality chocolate bars that are absolutely delicious, and there are three different designs/chocolates that you can choose from at the front counter. Chris went with the Barrel-Aged Mocha, which included barrel-aged espresso, vanilla syrup, chocolate, and milk. He said he couldn't really taste the barrel-aged aspect but that it was a nice beverage. We also ordered the draft oat milk latte, which I would recommend for anyone who doesn't want their coffee to taste too strong, as it was mainly the flavor of oat milk.

Yelp
Very cool, coffee was great and parking wasn't too hard to find. I loved the theme of the place and the vibes - big x files fan so I was living for the aliens. Otherwise, staff wasn't too warm but they weren't rude so I definitely wouldn't knock em too bad - I just didn't feel the vibes were welcoming enough from the staff to ask questions and stuff

Yelp
Dark matter has excellent coffee- I had the chocolate city iced coffee. They have excellent vibes and cool decor. They staff members were super helpful and friendly. Helped me decide on a drink. I came here on a Sunday morning around 8:30am not too busy. The only downfall is this location has no seating. But they have other locations that do!

S K.

Yelp
The coffee is great but besides that I really appreciate the staff. They are always really kind, helpful and friendly (even in the wee hours of the morning). Thanks Dark Matter, I appreciate you.

Yelp
Awesome vibe- amazing coffee. Beautiful artwork inside but of course stop in for the coffee. Quick service and options to fill a growler - great option to have their brews available at home!

Yelp
Any opportunity to pick up coffee and pastries from Dark Matter Coffee's Mothership is an opportunity I take. I love getting a hot coffee or cold brew, especially if I haven't had much coffee beforehand and can handle the higher caffeine content in DMC drinks. The donuts are usually my go-to food option; I like the Homer donut (a pink replica of the stuff you see on The Simpsons) or the blueberry crumble donut. Service is always friendly and quick. The store has a cool vibe, especially with the sunlight coming in from the windows. Plenty of whole bean options to pick up for at-home brewing, and they will grind those beans for you if you'd like.
google avatar

Shashank S.

Yelp
What a cool vibe and great coffee. One of the few places I found that have a barrel aged coffee. Folks behind the counter were friendly and very helpful. A bag of coffee comes with a free beverage so don't forget to take one for the road. Also since they roast their own there are free burlap bags for the taking.
google avatar

Crannie A.

Yelp
The coffee was nice and strong, staff were very friendly explaining the types of coffee they have. The ambience was fun, lots of things to see and purchase.
google avatar

Annie A.

Yelp
Free cup of coffee when you buy a bag of beans, I LOVE when coffee shops offer that! If you need a major pick me up, come here, because they don't play around. A small or medium mocha has THREE SHOTS of espresso and a large has SIX shots! They have oat milk and soy milk alternatives for $1. Also featured is a couple of amazing nitro cold brews. No frills, only plenty of caffeine; it's what you came for!

Pablo A.

Yelp
Great coffee, Great Cortadito, great staff, and great atmosphere. Empanadas the best in the city.
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
Dark Matter are my favorite roasters - not just in this city, but anywhere. The key thing here, and what a lot of roasters struggle with, is CONSISTENCY. While some blends are not to my personal taste, the ones that are (and there's a lot of them) simply knock it out of the park every single time. Unpretentious and fun, the staff are always very cool here. You come in to buy a bag, and you also get a free hot or cold coffee. That's service and paying attention to the customer experience. Stop by and give them a try.. Places like this absolutely need our support in this town!
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
Another place to get this great coffee. Dark Matter has this shop called the Mothership. It's a misnomer, because this place is small. Basically there's only room for a few customers if that, and the menu is small also. That doesn't mean it's bad of course, as the coffee is the most important part. Came here one morning recently and got some coffee and a bite. It has about the same menu at all locations. There's not a whole lot to choose from, but it's good no matter what kind you get though. It has both cold and hot brew. The best one is the Agave Latte. It's about $4 for a regular cup. That's kind of overpriced but it's not as bad as other places. It's made with agave, almond syrup, dark chocolate, and the Matter Cinnamon Blend. Mostly the food options are the Taos Bakes bars, which are good to munch on between sips. It's about $3 each. These come in vegan flavors and these are fairly healthy. Good stuff as far as coffee. It's kind of too expensive, which is the worst thing about it. There needs to be more food options but the Taos Bakes bars are good for snacking.
google avatar

Windy H.

Yelp
AMAZING!! This was the first time I went to the "dark matter mothership". I've been drinking dark matter at other coffee shop but to actually go here was just different. I came here around 8AM and there was quite the line but their service was fast. I love their cold brew. It was packed with caffeine which I need it before going into work. I also got the croissant just because I have a weakness for carb. Definitely will go here again and will definitely buy the jagermeister infused coffee.
google avatar

El D.

Yelp
This coffee? Absolute floptina. Tasted like they roasted it in Satan's air fryer. Tried it twice, months apart, and both times it was CREMATED. And the caffeine? One sip could probably send John Cena to the ER. Seriously, this chain is all marketing, zero quality.
google avatar

Runzer W.

Yelp
An easy to-go cup of coffee. The vibes inside is very interesting and has its own style. Guys are pretty friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Al S.

Yelp
The place was clean with vintage toys all over the place. The coffee did keep me up my whole drive back home. Good taste and on point costumer service.
google avatar

Ariel G.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying we all know how a simple cup of coffee can add the most color to one's day. Not here! Of course, I started trying this shop because I was sick of the rude attitude that permeated from the other dark matter on the opposite corner. It doesn't stop there because here, they have the same rude people working at their shop who do not listen to what the customer wants. It just seems the cashier wanted me out of their face. The cashier made me purchase a larger beverage than what I even asked for and then to top it off the barista hands me over a large coffee cup, which it I did not ask for. I did not want 20 ounces of liquid on top of it, the coffee tasted like water. I'm done. dark matter is not getting my money. I will add that there is a young white blonde male cashier that works here that is very kind and also always great to talk to and helpful but the rest of the staff does not care. They need to be taking customer service lessons from him. It seems like they're working to get a paycheck and I'm sure that's not what working in coffee is about. The crew in all locations are kinda unfriendly and not welcoming at all and I've been to the 4 that are in this area. Maybe the Belmont location is the friendliest. That's all. I'm tired of spending 5+ dollars for a bad attitude and I feel terribly sad after leaving their shops. Treat the employees better or fire unfriendly 30+ y/o hipsters that work there.
google avatar

Crystal N.

Yelp
This place has become one of my main places to stop for coffee as I head to work. Dark Matter is known all over Chicagoland for the quality of its coffee. I'm pretty simple with just a black coffee, but their cold brew is definitely one of my favorites in the warmer weather. The food they curate is simply amazing, all from local restaurants. Donuts are absolutely amazing from Do-Rite and, although I can't remember off the top of my head who makes them, the breakfast tacos and empanadas are crazy delicious. Their best deal has to be the cold brew growler for $15, which means 64 ounces of cold brew for a ridiculously low price!
google avatar

Janet M.

Yelp
Great location, love the art work & lighting creates a cool feel & such yummy coffee. Employees are quick & friendly.

Becky F.

Yelp
disclaimer I have not tried the coffee! zero spots to sit in the AC - only outdoor seating in the humid Chicago summer air. couldn't stay did i wanted to. maybe add some indoor seating? cheers
google avatar

Minh P.

Yelp
Cool coffee shop! I liked the ambiance a lot. Good staff, plenty of seating (tables and chairs downstairs, couches upstairs), and really cool murals/art by local artists all over the shop. Some of the cups have neat designs too. I had their Chai Tea with Oat Milk and it was pretty solid. They use some sort of mix/carton I think. My friend got one of their pork empanadas, and said it was delicious. This would be a cool place to chill, chat with friends, get some work done, etc. I'll keep Dark Matter in mind next time I am in Wicker Park!
google avatar

Shelby B.

Yelp
Great coffee, great staff, love me an iced mocha that is strong enough to get me through my day.
google avatar

Audra M.

Yelp
Since moving back to Chicago, Dark Matter has become my favorite coffee. I enjoy the fun space of this location. They recently collaborated with My Block, My Hood, My City, which is a fantastic organization. Then there's the Malort collab that is awesome for very different reasons! You're in for a treat when indulging in a Dark Matter blend. I'm rather frugal, so this is a treat for me, but that's just one of the reasons it remains dear to me!
google avatar

Hamad Y.

Yelp
Awesome coffee! Wow great service and a good variety of beans and drinks! Great place

Joshua W.

Yelp
Whole milk not oat milk. Might be good to clarify. Do I look like the kind of person who wants oat milk? Who cares, screw up my order, I don't care. Best latte in the city.
google avatar

Lindsey K.

Yelp
Got the nitro drip. Rich and full bodied. The staff made good recommendations. I wouldn't recommend adding oat milk to the coffee as it takes over the flavor.
google avatar

Shannon M.

Yelp
On a recent trip to Chicago, my husband and I were just leaving the Ukrainian Village when we stumbled upon this awesome coffee spot. The unique sign is what really caught our eye but as we got closer we KNEW we would love it. Walking in, you have take home options that you can purchase that include shirts, coffee, chocolate and more. We each found something we had to have and take with us. The coffee was amazing and the snacks were even better. We sat outside and enjoyed our coffee and waited for our Uber. We loved everything about this place and highly recommend it. Coming back to Florida, I truly miss the quirkiness of this coffee spot and look forward to visiting again soon!
google avatar

Donnie L.

Yelp
They were very helpful with the questions I had. Also you receive a free hot or iced coffee with the purchase of a bag of coffee. Very cool vibe. Thank you.
google avatar

Embra B.

Yelp
Great location, friendly staff. Variety of coffees to choose from and there is also merchandise. Be sure to stop by and enjoy the vibes. Watching how our coffee were made was a cool experience. See you on the next visit!
google avatar

Anna K.

Yelp
I was just taking a casual morning walk and decided to look for coffee shops around the area in which I was walking. When I realized that this shop was near me, I was excited because I have wanted to visit for quite some time. I stopped in around 7:45 and there were only two people in front of me. I picked up a bag of coffee so that I can take it home, and I was going to order counter. However, to my surprise, I was told that if I buy that coffee I got a free large hot or cold coffee anyway. So I got my large iced coffee for free and now have a bag of new local ground coffee to try at home. Definitely recommend this well-known local brand.
google avatar

Len L.

Yelp
Coffee has been a staple in my diet and what I crave the most if the unique flavors that DM has been keeping me interested on coming here monthly to see what they have to offer. I went in a few weeks ago and crave is the "barrel-aged mocha" which is slightly sweetened, plenty of fruity notes and delicious. I wish they offered it in cans. The staff is super friendly and plenty of selection of beans, cold coffee (in cans) to choose. I highly recommend DMC to anyone who loves coffee with a twist.
google avatar

Jinny C.

Yelp
Cool coffee place with an amazing retro-futurism vibe. The place isn't super welcoming though, since there is no seating available and the menus aren't that helpful in telling you what you're actually ordering. Ordered a black splash nitro coffee after finding small descriptions of their draft coffee options by their canned coffee fridge and an iced latte I can't find the name of from their online order form to write this review
google avatar

Claudia D.

Yelp
Dark Matter coffee is caffeine deliciousness! Try it. You'll love it. Several restaurants in Chicago rely on Dark Matter for their custom blends. That's how I first learned of Dark Matter. You can get delivery or pick up direct from their website. Regardless of where you get your supply, just do it! You'll love it! Try more than one blend and see which you prefer!
google avatar

Emeri Q.

Yelp
I enjoyed my ice agave vanilla latte. The lady was super nice and was like sure let's pump your coffee up with a bunch of syrups lol. Price is reasonable and close to union station. Will come back for sure now that I found this place.
google avatar

Rebecca H.

Yelp
Great coffee. Parking is always difficult. I suggest stopping with a friend so one can stay in the car. Although I always get a drink when I come, I really stop here for beans for home brewing. Unicorn blood is one of my fave roasts. Love supporting the local roasters. Love the kitschy vibe of Dark Matter coffee.
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
I love the vibe of this place. The walks are covered in art/mural. There is a lot of intention to this space! Definitely a place where you grab your drink and food and take it to go. There isn't any seating - just more of an FYI. Coffee is good. They even offer some of their cold brew in cans that you can buy to-go! They also have a limited amount of food you can purchase - donuts, empanadas, burritos. Quantities are limited, so there is a good change they may run out. I think my only complaint or ask would be to more clearly identify what hot food they have on-hand. You have to wait and ask until you are ordering to know what's in the heater.
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
Ordered a mocha and it was incredibly bitter. Couldn't even finish it. However, the lattes, cortados, and iced coffees have all been fantastic. Might have been a fluke, but just to be safe, steer clear of the mochas. Staff was really nice and hospitable
google avatar

Vincent M.

Yelp
I was in the city visiting friends and wanted to find some unique coffee shops. This location was a bit of a hike for me, but SUPER worth it. Funky vibe and friendly, helpful staff. I almost always go for mochas, but this time I asked if they had any special recommendations... why not be exciting‽ I tried the barrel-aged mocha which had this really interesting, "whisky" feeling. The barrel-aging gave a distinct, but balanced flavor. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
On the recommendation of my son who goes here to work and drink coffee, we stopped here after having a late brunch. He wanted to stop and pick up some coffee beans and said Dark Matter was good but was going to settle for Aldo so he wouldn't have to spend as much. Feeling like more coffee was going to be good for all of us, I said we should go here and I'd buy him a pound. The store is quaint, with lots of art on the walls, some cute novelties like coffee mugs, caps, and other assorted items. While there, we each did order coffee and I chose an espresso. One of their offerings as an "aged" espresso which sounded interested. Coffees come up fast, but espresso drinks come from the bar so it did take a few minutes. I tasted some of the coffees from the rest of our party and they were very good. The espresso, being aged, had a bit of a funky taste - sour to some degree but not in a bad way. They have a small but diverse selection of beans to choose from. We got an espresso blend to take home (not the aged one) which we're looking forward to trying. Fun place. You should go if you're in the area.

Yelp
This free Spirit coffee is unbelievably delicious. Amtrak & two buses had to tag team us to their front door. Sooo glad they did!
google avatar

Yelp
There is one thing that takes the highest priority in the early morning hours and that is where to get coffee, and where to get good coffee. Despite living in the suburbs I have fought my way through traffic to get to the Mothership before rushing back to the suburbs for my afternoon classes on at college. My two go-to drinks is always a tie between the Cortado and an Iced Mocha. The pro: -Easy access to the shop which makes grab n go possibly -Merchandise + Coffee available for purchase The Con: If parking is taken right in front of the shop you may have to circle the block a time or two. The other fun fact is that the Mothership is right around the corner from The Star Lounge. Their menus differ from one another but the vibe of Dark Matter Coffee in either location does not. The best part about Dark Matter Coffee is the fact that is not overloaded with syrups/ and sugar. You get the authentic taste of coffee and that strong caffeine kick you're looking for in the early morning.

Yelp
When you are on a quest to find the best cup of coffee in the City...eventually you need to make your way to Dark Matter. I have been meaning to get in here for some time and finally got a chance to drive over and check it out. My girlfriend and I came here on 05/10/20 and really enjoyed ourselves. The employees are super friendly which is always a plus. There is a ton of street parking so parking won't be an issue if you venture this way. First things first...Dark Matter takes COVID precautions VERY seriously, which is cool. It's one person in at a time when you're ordering. Everyone keeps a social distance outside and it's cards only, no cash allowed. With that being said..they coffee rocks. Seriously some quality Java. I got a latte and my girl got a mocha. Unreal flavors. I would normally venture off and try so awesome blend of coffee but it was raining and a latte sounded amazing. They also carry Do-Rite Donuts which are some of the best donuts around. I was going to get some ground coffee to go, but completely forgot about it, next time. This is a great place and I'll be back.

Yelp
Small space with no seating although there is room for a cafe table or 2. A few shelves with cute little locally made items and bags of coffee beans. Menu provided limited info and staff didn't seem overly anxious to let us know what they offered. We ordered 2 small coffees and were in and out quickly. Nothing spectacular.

Yelp
We were in need of mid-day pick me up, and Dark Matter popped up on Yelp as the go to. This is very much a grab and go spot. The space is small, They don't have any tables or chairs. But they do have a full wall of Dark Matter merchandise. I loved all the graphics on the mugs and shirts and probably would've gotten one if my suit case wasn't already so full. My aunt and I just got a large drip coffee each. For both it was less than $6, which I found to be a pretty cheap deal. Even though it was a good cup of coffee, our experience was soured by the poor customer service. The girl who took my order was snappy and impatient with us when we asked questions. When we asked if they had any dairy free milk alternatives, she scoffed and pointed to the other side of the shop. When we went to go pour the milk, they were out of the oat milk. I asked her if they had more in the back and she said they were all out. I don't mind a black cup of coffee or if you're out of a product, but the way she handled the situation and talked to me threw me off and turned what could have been a great experience into a negative one. The only reason I'm giving a 3 is because my cup of coffee was good and hit the spot perfectly. I'll likely visit another coffee shop if I'm in the area again.
