The shop offers free tasting for a wide variety of their peach preserves, which were DELICIOUS! We ended up taking many jars home with us. The "Amaretto Peach Pecan Preserves" is my favorite. We also enjoyed some fresh peach cobbler and ice cream along with our wine-tastings beside the lake. The entire place had super chill vibes, and the service was friendly and sweet.

This place is absolutely beautiful! You can lose yourself in the peaceful view of the lake surrounded by tall pine trees — it’s so relaxing. We enjoyed some delicious wines and the most amazing homemade jams. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a quiet, charming place to unwind and enjoy nature with a glass of wine in hand. Definitely a hidden gem.

Cooking class was recommended by Gemini Ai and it did not disappoint. Mary Jo and team were phenomenal! Wine, informative interaction, delicious, abundant food and an incredible location make this a must on your next visit to Fredericksburg. Ours was brunch with an unforgettable menu we’ve already attempted at home. We took home so many goodies from the shop, all because of the coupon issued at class. Go! Enjoy! We will certainly be back.

Google
A few minutes from downtown, you find this magnificent and ancient place to taste the wine of the region, beautiful views and in harmony with nature. Variety of products and above all the jams, combinations for different tastes. In your visit to Fredericksburg take your time and visit the place. I recommend it!

Google
I love this place. You can try wine tasting to find your favorite one. Enjoy a bottle and spend the afternoon on nature. The jam is amazing too and they have little sampler plates to pair with your bottle of wine. This place is awesome!

Google
Loved it for a laid back wine tasting, esthetic photos, and a homey country store to purchase random salty snacks and jams! Their wine was so good! Even though the tasting was in plastic cups, it was so reasonably priced and it was my favorite wine tasting in Fredericksburg!

I have a question to the owner of this establishment. Is this man in the picture assigned to host wine tasting? I don’t think he is suitable to be anywhere near a customer service, because he did not even greet us when we entered. He was doing his own something & completely ignored us! So I asked, if the wine tasting open or not, because I wasn’t even sure! He was so mean to say “that’s what the sign says & laughed sarcastically! We had a party of 4 and we skipped wine tasting only because of this horrible man. Let this man retire, he is ready!

We can't say enough wonderful things about our short visit at the Farmstead. We were 10 women, friends since college, celebrating our 70th birthdays. We stayed on the property which is beautiful and enjoyed cooking classes that were outstanding. What a selection of food choices we had to pick from for our classes. We had TAPAS, that were each more like a full meal, German food and a Hill Country Brunch. So much food and so very delicious. There was plenty of delicious wine to sample and as a special treat, we each had a signature cocktail from Dietz Distillery, right next door. There were too many choices to pick from. The owners went above and beyond to make our visit extra special. We couldn't have asked for a better way to start our 70th year.

Yelp
The incredible thing is I went here over a decade ago and go this incredible Smokey glaze from here! I couldn't remember the name of this place but remember it had a pond in the back and it was a wood building with a bunch of charcuterie and wine items inside. Lawd and behold, I returned back to Fredericksburg and by a quick google search, I was so surprise to find this place is still open and going strong! Das Peach Haus have been open for a long time and I was just so thrilled to see how many new items there was inside! I was dieing when I saw rhe Smokey glaze was still available!! I grabbed a few bottles! They have samples and you can try different items they have! Pasta sauce, salsa, jams, jelly, seasoning, olive oil, hot sauce, and so much more! Our favorites: 4/5 Peach salsa! Has a kick! And the peach is so good in it! Small Chunks which is perfect! 5/5 Smokey glaze: this stuff is goes well with everything! Love it on baked salmon. Cream cheese and glaze. Pork beef chicken.. it's Smokey sweet salty. Just yummy and a favorite in our household. 5/5 whiskey glaze: very close to the smoked glaze but there a chunk of something and not Smokey. We tried this for the first time and loved it too. Sweet salty glaze. 5/5 Pistachio jalapeño brittle: I wish we grabbed more!! Tried a sample and it has a kick of jalapeño and it's the best brittle I ever had! The pistachio is so good with the jalapeño! Must try! 5/5 Hot peach salsa: it's more spicy than regular peach salsa but it's perfect for the peeps like Louie a little more heat! They have baked desserts and wine tasting there! Next door is their new brewery they just opened. There's food trucks there too. Such a relaxing place with the outdoor scenery! Do we recommend this place ? Yes! Our visit there, Das Peach Haus employee, Efrain, went above and beyond to recommend us stuff. He was friendly and informative! Outstanding employee and made our visit at Das Peach Haus such a great experience! If you are the owner or manager at Das Peach Haus, you should give him a raise and a reward! We can't wait to return to restock our staple favorites from Das Peach Haus! Must visit when you're in Fredericksburg! Don't skip this place!

Yelp
This place is a must if you're in town. I love peaches and during the summer heat what better way to experience the flavor than to stop here? So much charm and space. Enjoy tasting inside and then take on the view and a sip out by the water. It was so peaceful and relaxing. If you want to cool down try the amaretto peach sundae. It's a rich creamy vanilla ice cream with chunks of fresh peaches and pecans toppef amaretto syrup and whipped cream. It's like a scoop of fall during the summer. They have so many cool flavors of jams and sweets it'll be hard to choose just one. Try the wine pairing. I really enjoyed the peach wine it was sweet and subtle and refreshing. I opted for a full glass of that post tasting

Yelp
Das Peach Haus is a must visit in my books when in Fredericksburg! The spot is full of tasty jams, salsa, marinades, and most important wine! We got a tasting flight and took it out back by the pond to enjoy! Even though we came in with the intention of not getting any bottles of wine we ended up getting 3 of their country peach for ourselves and as souvenirs for friends! The pond out back is a great spot to relax and hang out with friends and family! there's plenty of shaded areas to fight the TX heat and tons of space for kids to run around! You can even buy fish food to feed the fish in the pond or even the turtles! We ended up leaving with plenty of jams, salsas, and all kinds of other goodies! The staff had plenty of recommendations and even told us how the family owned winery has expanded into several other endeavors! Overall we would recommend stopping by!!

Yelp
Das Peach Haus has become one of my favorite stops on the way out of Fredericksburg. It has changed over the years adding a culinary kitchen, air stream trailers, a tiny house and of course they have a beautiful pond. The tasting area has all kinds of Fredericksburg staples like peach jam and raspberry chipotle sauce. For $1 you can purchase fish food for the pond. On the weekends they have live music. Such a nice place to sit and relax before the drive back.
google avatar

Taylor C.

Yelp
We enjoyed our time here. We went during the week so it wasn't crowded at all. We chose this place for the proximity and the overall relaxed atmosphere. It helped that the wine tasting was affordable. The staff was friendly and had great recommendations for our tasting. We enjoyed our tasting by the pond which was very relaxing. The wines very much we enjoyed as well. We like sweet wines and our favorite was the hill country peach but I didn't have one I didn't enjoy. We stopped in the store to browse and I picked up a salted Carmel brownie...very delicious. Rich, decadent...just perfect.

Yelp
This was the perfect spot to end our visit in Fredericksburg. An adorable store surrounded by beautiful scenery. You'll find a variety of products inside from preserves to salsas and even wine tasting. After we were done with our shopping, we headed to the rear of the store, where you'll find a nice sized pond with picnic tables, chairs, and outdoor games surrounding the pond. We took our snacks and drinks and had a relaxing moment. The pond is filled with fish and turtles and they sell food inside the store for $1 to feed them. We did hold off on buying some peach products on the main shopping street in Fredericksburg and found that this store did not carry peach salsa or peach syrup. We headed back to that area just in time to grab those items before they closed.

Yelp
4 stars mainly for the ambiance: lovely lake, and surrounding trees that give decent shade - a luxury in Central Texas!! They got live music on the weekend and nice outdoor seating. They sell a bunch of sauces, jams, crackers, mustard, etc. inside The wines and fresh food served are not that great. We got the wine flight and tried a mix of white/peach wine and red. Wine is under-aged most of them is 2024 wines, they are not tasty. The peach cobbler has a doughy texture and canned peaches flavors. The vanilla ice cream on the side helped a lot but overall the dish is kinda disappointing considering this place is called Peach Haus. Nice spot to visit though for the views and seating experience.

Yelp
We are Das Peach House, aficionados- summer, fall, winter, or spring.... Das Peach Haus welcomes us with its gorgeous landscaping, history, wine for us adults, peach cider for the kiddos, quaint store with chutneys and sauces, serenity by the pond and that ripples and glitters, and shade and wildlife from the East TX pines that have called the Hill Country their new home. We sit, reflect, and are able to capture the fleeting present moment. We have enjoyed the lobster roll food truck, the views of peach trees lined up in their orchard, the dragon flies and butterflies that come to say hello & try to celebrate life by sipping wine from your glass!! Next: take a cooking class ... can't wait for this to happen!
google avatar

Martin M.

Yelp
Such beautiful place! Tall trees, big pond and lots of wine. It doesn't get any better than Dad Peach Haus. I went with a group of friends and we all got a wine tasting which will run you about 20 bucks to try 5 wines. I mean that's pretty amazing! We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Melynda S.

Yelp
Wine being served in plastic and not glass was a tad disappointing. Wine was nice but quite sweet. Property has a more rustic and charming feel than some of the more modern vineyards' tasting rooms. Their general store on property has a nice selection of products and their pond is a nice spot to sit and enjoy your drink.
google avatar

Evelyn L.

Yelp
Such a charming place to visit. I'm not a huge wine drinker so I really didn't know what to get so I decided to get what the employees recommended which was the peach moscato and the blackberry wine. Both tasted very good but the blackberry was my favorite! Inside the store there are so many jams, oils, and spreads you can sample from; everything tasted delicious and fresh. The garlic olive oil was superb. The pond outside is beautiful to relax and drink in front of. Overall I think this a great casual spot to visit while you're in Fredericksburg.
google avatar

Kyndra P.

Yelp
I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE! It was so peaceful and romantic out next to the pond. The employees were very kind a knowledgeable, we had fun tasting their wines and even took a couple bottles home. I highly recommend this if you stop into Fredericksburg. They have self serve wine tasting which is great so you don't have to wait for someone to come pour more for you, and it was so relaxing!
google avatar

Natasha H.

Yelp
Great place to find sauces and preserves, and to grab a pie a la mode and sit by the pond to relax.
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
You cant go wring with the original raspberry chipotle sauce but they have so many other choices! Our fridge is half full of the sauces from here at all times. We make a trip out here for my birthday annually and it never disappoints! The workers are always perfect and the views by the pond are gorgeous! They have food for the fish at the register and it was the most fun watching the turtles and fish eat their food.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty as a peach- this place is really beautiful. A quiet little orchard and winery with a nice homemade jams, jellies, spreads others food items and a plethora of samples- you could purchase a bottle Of wine or a glass and twirl Around the little store and taste all the goodies- :::the peach wine and sangria- so refreshing::: We ordered a couple of glasses of the crispy-summery liquid gold and found a cool spot near the pond- blue skies, breeze- perfect . Super friendly staff, lots of insight on all the products and the winery. We enjoyed our visit here- They even have a Thai food truck on the premises- Bathrooms On location, but outside and a little steamy.

Yelp
Highly recommended by a friend, we made a quick stop on our way out of Fredericksburg. It's a beautiful, well kept spot, located near a gorgeous pond surrounded by trees. Standing near the pond, I felt like I was transported to a forest in another state! Beautiful photo op area. Das Peach Haus offers cooking classes, wine tasting , and food taste testing. We entered the food tasting haus, where we found locally made jams, salsas, pie filling, condiments, oils... you name it! And of course Peach was incorporated into some of the items. They also sell homemade peach cobbler. We went home with some yummy bottled peach pie filling and Das Peach Haus peach salsa (hot). Would have loved to sip on a glass of peach wine lounging in a chair near the pond, but time was of essence and we had to hit the road. Next time! Military discount offered.
google avatar

Sophia G.

Yelp
The service was great and outdoor area was so pretty! The sweet flight was delicious The inside store was so cute and had a lot of variety of jams and candied jalapeños.

Yelp
When we stopped by Das Peach Haus we expected the same small store we have known for many years , but to our surprise they expanded and now have a beautiful relaxing back yard with a pond and food trucks. In addition they have a distillery. We were on the way home and didn't have much time, but plan on coming back to enjoy the sunset with a glass of their wines watching the reflection of the sun on the pond that is surrounded by tall pine trees, which put me back to my childhood growing up in Germany. Thank you Fischer and Wiser for creating such a relaxing environment.

Yelp
This has been on my list to visit for a while. I am so bummed we didn't go sooner. Every employee was very nice and helpful. We did the tasting and purchased several items including wine. I can't wait to go back. I almost signed up for the cooking classes and after viewing the property and the actual class room I wish i had. The distillery next door was amazing too. Property is well maintained and beautiful. 10/10

Yelp

Yelp
Das Peach Haus has so much to offer! Probably one of my top 3 highlights of this weekend's adventures in Fritztown...(one of Fredericksburg's nicknames). When I first learned about Das peach Haus and read about their peach cobbler, I was sold and stopped reading lol. I'm glad it was an overall pleasant surprise/experience for our first time visiting. It's not only a "self serve" winery but a culinary school, a bakery and the home to a beautiful and serene landscape outside on their property! It was sooo windy when we arrived but that didn't stop us or ruin our experience! We enjoyed the wine samples we ordered and of course devoured our peach cobbler a la mode! I wanted seconds but decided not to because I will be returning frequently! Apparently (good quality) peaches are harvested in this area, so that explains the peach wine, peach jars, jams, salsas and so much more! Glad we made the stop! Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Alicia W.

Yelp
We just stopped in to buy a couple things before we headed out. The prices are fair and the staff was pleasant.

Ilsa A.

Yelp
Came here for a private cooking class and had the most wonderful time! Chef Liam put together a delicious French menu for our group and we enjoyed a relaxed cooking environment where each of us learned new tips & tricks and had a memorable evening! We were served delicious local wine and each of us got to take turns being sous chef! I really appreciated Chef Liam's easy going style and friendly approach! It made our experience that much better. I highly recommend planning a cooking class for your group here! 10/10

Heather J.

Yelp
Just a retail store with over priced products you can find at the grocery store for $3-4 cheaper and premade repackaged baked goods and wine. Pretty sure their "homemade ice cream" is blue bell or grocery store brand. The wine tasting seems like a good deal but you are just paying $20 for a glass of wine! Save the money; just take pictures here.
google avatar

Xochilt S.

Yelp
Their peach cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream is a MUST TRY. Relaxed and enjoyed the view in the back. Then played some Jenga and Connect 4.
google avatar

Jaesel P.

Yelp
Peaceful & beautiful place in Fredericksburg! Their in house salsas are so yummy! Especially their peach spicy salsa. I tried it in their tasting area and I had to buy it. They had a wine tasting sampler & you can taste 5 wines of your choices. Pretty worth it if you don't know much about wines or if you wanna taste them before picking just one. Behind them is a beautiful pond & benches to sit and watch the view or you can bring your own board games for a fun time! The staff was nice all around from beginning to end! Love their service and friendly staff! A definite stop place at fredericksburg!
google avatar

Wilnesa C.

Yelp
This place was beautiful! I wanted to come here to enjoy some wine and take in the views. I did just that! I'm not a huge wine drinker so I didn't know what to try. They made a recommendation and let me tell you..it was delicious! You absolutely have to stop by and take in all that this place has to offer!
google avatar

Brandon G.

Yelp
Great service and had just about everything to sample. Great variety. We shared our haul with many of our friends and they all liked or loved them all. We took home mayhaw jelly, peach butter, peach cider, and a few other things. Several friends went online and ordered a bunch more that day.
google avatar

Diana D.

Yelp
The ambiance at this place is 10/10. It's absolutely beautiful. Very instagramable spot. The wine is good, a little too sweet for my taste, but I was warned their best selling,Peach, is the sweetest one. We went in and they have some things other than wine, like jams and shirts, very neat spot. Service was alright, I wish their was someone explaining the different available options, it also felt a little rushed to me...if this would've been my second or third time there it would've been fine, but it been our first time I felt a little lost and just expected some more guidance from the staff.
google avatar

Christi P.

Yelp
This place has a lot of spices, sauces, canned fruit and jams and even a wine room.. tastings are available. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. The place is cute with everything displayed very neatly and organized. They made homemade peach cobbler that you can also purchase with or without a dollop of ice cream. Somehow I have lost the pictures of this place .. it is a beautiful little cottage style ambience. I forgot to mention there is also a distillery next-door that is included in this business.

Delaney M.

Yelp
This place is SO CUTE! They have things you can sample inside, and you can taste 5 wines or just get a glass/bottle of many different wine options! The peach wine is AMAZING! Highly recommend! The outdoor seating area is beautiful too.
google avatar

Mariana S.

Yelp
Stick with ordering the charcuterie board instead of the Brie cheese. The sweet wines are great!
google avatar

Amy W.

Yelp
The store itself was fine, lots of gourmet sauces and jams, etc. but what was spectacular was the outdoor area. If it wasn't;t summer, what a glorious place to have a little picnic around the small pond.
google avatar

Justin T.

Yelp
If you're looking to satisfy you sweet wine tooth, this is where you want to go in Fredericksburg. A group of friends and I were planning a wine weekend and this place came up as a suggestion by more than one person. This old country store was moved from one location to it's current spot and now is home to all Fischer & Wieser's products like jams, jellies and of course their sweet peach wines. I sampled a few items and decided to purchase wine to take home with me. The fun didn't stop there though. The grounds outside is one of their main selling points and it is totally worth the visit just for that. They have this beautiful, crystal clear pond surrounding by large trees and benches. It is a sight to see and so calming and serene. Hands down, this was one of my favorite stops on our little weekend getaway to Fredericksburg. Next time, I will definitely make a day out hanging out here!
google avatar

Rick S.

Yelp
Nice selection of canned goods including jams and jellies, salsa, pickled vegetables and more. There is a small bakery area here and I think they also have a demonstration kitchen as well. The staff is really helpful. Recommended.
google avatar

Vanessa R.

Yelp
The wines are delicious and the outdoor space is beautiful. I've been to Fredericksburg several times and hadn't been to this spot. The pond outback has fish and turtles in it. You can buy food to feed them for a buck. It's a wonderful place with friendly staff. I will now stop every time I'm in town.
google avatar

Ety G.

Yelp
BEAUTIFUL Please make sure to visit. Lovely atmosphere and the bartender was super helpful. I purchased their raspberry chipotle sauce and used it recently in some chicken thighs, so good! They have tasting samples of their products, really good! Will definitely be back soon!
google avatar

Bridget B.

Yelp
Das Peach Haus is a cute local Market in Fredericksburg. There is a lot of parking, options to explore, and nice outdoor seating. I would love to give this place a 5/5 but the service dropped the score down. First, there are samples of their products throughout the store; however, halfway through sampling we started noticing bugs in the samples. While I understand this is not an intentional issue, there are a lot of ways to prevent this issue such as clear lids over the plates. As we were 1 of 2 couples there, it was not busy enough to require all the samples to be fully uncovered. Additionally, the staff was not super friendly which is big for me. Not that anyone was mean per se, but a smile and "let me know if you need anything" can go a long way especially given how few customers were there. They do have a lot of great products to purchase; however, I would not come for the hospitality. We were also told that a lot of their products are sold at H‑E‑B, so there is another option to support their shop!

Yelp
STEPH JUDGEMENT: Cool place to stop and hang out just outside of Fredericksburg. Some Austin friends recommended that we check out Fredericksburg while we were in the area so we started looking up what looked good. This place came up with very high marks on both Yelp and Google, and was on the way into to Fburg proper so we decided to stop by and were so glad we did. First of all, the name: peaches never sounded more ominous, but it really is a delightful place. Second: they offer a lot of cool stuff in their store, from wine to baked goods to kitchen gadgets. Third: They have a huge outdoor area complete with a relaxing little pond and lots of seating. We decided to share a wine tasting (4 wines) and a peach cobbler a la mode out by the pond and it was just lovely. The day we were there the temperatures were really mild and overcast, making for a great time lounging outside. They also have clean restrooms, huzzah! Definitely worth a stop.

Mark T.

Yelp
Great ambiance around the lake. Surprisingly affordable meals as well. A highlight of fb.
google avatar

Yelp
This Place is a MUST STOP! The Lakeview! The Store! The Samples! Even the Batheoom was Perfect! We wine tasted here! Sampled Jams here and even heard live music & a peaceful Lake! It's a perfect must see in Fredericksburg!
google avatar

Yelp
We were there during the solar eclipse. My wife and I came from California and had exceptional time at the peach house wine was exceptional
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
This is a super cute place. I came with a friend since we were looking for peach cobbler near the main road and we stumbled on this place on Yelp! They sell lots of things besides cobbler, including jams, cheeses, various oils, and other homemade types of food and trinkets etc. They had lots of samples too which I appreciated (cheeses with jams and crackers that you can help yourself to). They also had live music playing covers when we went at this patio area with lots of chairs so we sat and ate our cobbler there. It's right next to a large pond that also has trees and chairs surrounding it; on the day we went it was kind of hot so we couldn't stay long since the trees don't provide a lot of shade but it was still a lovely time to hear the music, have some cobbler and walk around the little pond!
google avatar

Jan T.

Yelp
Come here for the cute pond and lounge chair set up. But run away from the wine and the terrible peach cobbler. The peach cobbler is on some kind of cake-like batter that is covered with cinnamon. And you get two peach slices. It is a 3x4 rectangle that you can eat in about 4 bites. The pictures of a huge plate of peach cobbler from 6 years ago on this Yelp page are misleading. The cobbler is tiny. And the peach has no flavor. It is a bad peach cobbler. The wine is worse. With that said, the setup is fine for a lazy Sunday. And some of the specialty goods seem fine.
google avatar

Leslie C.

Yelp
Really cool place ...wine is sweet so make sure you like that!! The inside gift shop was a hit for sauces and other goodies! Nice place and would be amazing in the fall to sit out by the lake and drink a bottle of wine but summertime was just too hot to do that!
google avatar

Cari J.

Yelp
Friendly people and all the things peachy you could hope for and several you didn't know you needed. I especially love outside, the large pond and pine trees.
google avatar

Carissa C.

Yelp
Such beautiful grounds! My family went here on a Saturday afternoon, and while it wasn't too busy, we had a lovely time. Their wine tasting is the prepaid kind where you load money onto a card and insert the card into the dispenser of the particular wines you want to sample. My mother wanted to try all their sweet wines this visit. While they were a bit too sweet for me personally, my mother did enjoy each sample especially the peach and blackberry wines. We enjoyed our wine tasting on their beautiful grounds and had a relaxing time. We also purchased some peach preserves to take home. They had live music that afternoon, but we left before the musician started. Would return!

Yelp
The best peach cobbler and peach ice cream ever!!!!! We went today I really recommended
