"Dave & Buster’s won’t move to Water Tower Place after all. The gaming restaurant chain hoped to relocate its Gold Coast location to the Mag Mile urban mall, but was met with angry reactions during a community meeting in December. Ald. Brian Hopkins (2nd) officially nixed the move in his email newsletter, which was first reported by Crime in Wrigleyville and Boystown and Crain’s." - Daniel Gerzina

"Dave & Buster’s, a popular venue known for arcade games, bowling, drinking, and food, is planning to move from its Gold Coast location to the fourth floor of the Water Tower Place shopping mall. The move has drawn angry reactions from residents who are concerned about the venue's impact on the area. The new location aims to expand Dave & Buster’s footprint in Chicago and redesign its space, possibly incorporating a smaller format that focuses more on being a sports bar." - Ashok Selvam

Came on a Friday night and was quickly seated in the family dining area. Made it before happy hour... drinks and food were flowing! Service was spectacular, parking easy in $10, across the street. Must return to take advantage of their gaming and bites specials.

Great atmosphere for the family. The waitress I had was very professional and helpful. I wish I could say that about the workers. At the first and second floor windows. Where you get the game cards. Their attitudes were bad. Not a very good way to greet someone. Management was very helpful when we had an issue. Was dealt with fast. After ordering our food. My family and I went to play games. The waitress was so amazing. She came and found us to let us know our food was ready. That was A1 customer service at that moment. If you want to save money. Look at all the options they have before purchasing game cards. I could have saved some money. If I seen the Power Packs option. Next time I'll know to buy from that option.

Embarrassed to say this was my first time here. Had a blast, like an adult Chickie cheese. The food was reasonably priced and tasted great. I can't wait to return.

The staff was great. As soon as they took our order were treated well. Our wings were delicious, and the game were excellent. The bears won also who could ask for more than that.

Bar was filthy, two separate bartenders started taking our orders and after we started telling them our order and they just walked away. Also they didn’t know how to make a Vegas Bomb. Then after waiting 45 minutes for them to start are drinks we ordered around 2 each since it was taking so long. Then we got questioned about how much we were drinking. And then to top it off we go to the other bar and he employee literally asked us why we came here and told us to go to another place nearby.

I actually took my one year old here for her first birthday..... And to my surprise there was nothing available for a one year old. I would recommend this place for 3 and up. The service is friendly, but however sort of slow. So be prepared for a wait, because this place gets pretty packed.

Fun place with a ton of games! The food and service is mediocre but not really what you should be going there.
