Even though my order had issue and came a bit late. Kaylen made sure to fix the problem!! She is so nice and deserve to be recognized for how much she cares about the customers experience! Well done!

We finally made our way to Dave's Hot Chicken. It was just okay to me, but my daughter loved it. I got the #1, which is 2 tenders. The tenders are huge. I selected mild. I'm not quite sure what I didn't like. I think it was all the red on my chicken. My daughter got the #3, which was 1 slider and 1 tender. She selected hot. She took her first bite and liked it. About 20 seconds later, her eyes turned red and started to water. I couldn't stop laughing. The staff was super friendly. The restaurant was clean and filled with people, so I may be in the minority of not liking it. There's plenty of free parking in the back.

5 Stars around the board! by far the best chicken spot we've had in a while!! We'll definitely be visiting again, ONLY next time I am not getting Extra Hot 🥵 It was amazing but holy cluck was it HOT!!

Just a heads up: • Extra Hot is no joke—it’s seriously spicy. Not for everyone. • Hot still has a good kick, but it’s more manageable if you’re used to spicy food. If you’re not into heat, even the Hot might be a bit much. The fries were great too—crispy and not greasy. Overall, awesome experience. Food came out fast, everything was fresh, and the staff was chill. Definitely coming back next time I’m craving something spicy.

The cashier JoJo went out of his way to help me decide what I wanted. Made the suggestion of adding honey to my sandwich afterwards to add more flavor to the sandwich. That honey takes the sandwich up to 10 out of 10. Without me asking, he brought me a to go box because there was so much extra food even which is two sliders. I’m taking one home what a great place to come, and this was my first experience.

The loaded fries was very good and the slider and Chicken tender was very good. The fries are very well-seasoned and very tasty. The service was very helpful and experts at their jobs. Will definitely go again!!!

Hubby ordered a 10 pc. Dave's Bites with Mac instead of fries for me to grab on his way home from work. The small mac and cheese container wasn't even 1/3 of the way full, there were only 8 pieces instead of 10, and no pickles. He wrote them after getting their survey and there was no apology or offer to make it right. Just thanks for the feedback and basically oh well. While it was my new favorite chicken place, the attitude towards their error makes me feel like I need to have the husband go back to chick fil a or Popeyes on the way home from work.

Okay so I know we hype a lot of things up. Especially when it comes to food but. Dave's you did something my guy. The chicken is seasoned and flavored very well. 2 tenders and a half a fry is all I need, those pickles are to die for! those crispy strips and fries lord just make sure whatever you do try them out before you give em a thumbs down. This location on Michigan Ave in Dearborn is very nice professional and quick I walked in and waited maybe 3 mins . I like it a lot shout out to Dave's in Dearborn. Oh and it was hot for my ride. Oh btw I went 2 days in a row day 1 Southfield who was also fast and good

I was really excited to try DHC but was thoroughly disappointed. The dry rub on the chicken was flavorless and the Mac and cheese was so cheap tasting. You have to drown the chicken in Dave's sauce for it to actually have some flavor. I hope that it gets better

I live in Kentucky pretty close to Nashville, so I have extremely high standards for fried chicken, especially Nashville hot chicken. I was up in the area for work meeting up with a friend and we decided to give Dave's Hot Chicken a try. I ordered a couple of tenders. I did enjoy them! One thing I thought that was missing is the tenders weren't drenched in that spicy oil that then seeps into the bread. But given how far we are from the Mecca of hot chicken, it's definitely not bad and it'll satisfy a craving. The service was pretty efficient. The locale is conveniently located in downtown Dearborn with fun murals. Pretty good! Would recommend.

Dave's got chicken is always the best. I absolutely love their sliders and sauce. The service is very good. And the place is nice.

The menu is simple... chicken. They have a couple sides. The chicken sandwich was delicious. Hot was hot and had good flavor. It's not slathered with sauce as they use some seasonings. The fries have seasoning as well. The Mac n cheese was solid. Of course remember you are at a fast food place. The staff was quick and friendly. Plenty of seating for four people to a table. Overall a great stop for some chicken sandwiches!!

Went here with some coworkers because I love chicken and spicy food. Pros: - Very tender and juicy chicken. - Good crinkle French fries. - Fun atmosphere, plenty of seating. Cons: - The outside was very dry. The inside was tender, but it almost tasted like sand on the outside. - Dave's Sauce wasn't my favorite. Other places in the area have lots of available toppings for their sandwiches, or lots of dipping sauces - the options here are very limited. - VERY expensive for lunch ($13-$14 when I visited WITHOUT A DRINK). $17 with a drink is "steak lunch with a drink" price range at other local places. - Took over 15 minutes for my chicken sandwich and French fries to come out. Two people in my group who ordered after me got their food first, so I was convinced it just takes longer for the chicken sandwich to cook vs. the chicken tenders. Then the chicken sandwich came out - and it was just chicken tenders on a bun. This was not fast food. My coworkers LOVED it so they have been coming back every week. I haven't joined them again yet, because I'm not in a terrible rush, and because there are 2 places within walking distance who have better chicken sandwiches (in my opinion), but I will probably give it a try again at some point.

We enjoyed this Dave's. We came because of the cauliflower sliders for my vegetarian boyfriend. I got a medium tender and hot sandwich to try both heat levels. The medium tender wasn't that good but I really liked the hot slider. The flavor of the medium didn't taste as good so keep that in mind. For my preference the hot was not too spicy at all. I don't like the Dave's sauce being mayonnaise based. There is little seating for how busy it is. We had one waiting for a table while the other ordered. The atmosphere is like a five guys or similar fast casual restaurant.

This place stayed packed!!! I had the #2 which included 2 chicken sandwiches fries and a drink. The sandwich was decent a lil sloppy the fries woulda been if they hot. The fountain drink needed to be refilled the flattest drink I've ever had I went back to get a orange Fanta and it was just as bad. The pickles were fresh had a crunch I like. Idk if I'd go back maybe when it first open right at 11am This is definitely a kids hang out... A lot of teenagers but they were very respectful

We definitely will be back . Excellent customer service. Loved the atmosphere with great music. Ordered the 2 piece Chicken Strip Meal with cheese fries. Ordered it Hot and it delivered, but it was too hot For me. I usually can handle spice, but next time I will get medium. My husband and I split a large MnM shake. The shake and the Dave sauce helped cool it down. The strips were massive and juicy. The only thing I suggest is get some salt for your fries.

I got my fries, but no chicken--come on, do better. I'm not even mad about the wait; I get that things can take time. But forgetting the chicken? That's wild. And I didn't even realize until it was too late.

Seems a bit pricy for the amount of food that you get. I normally enjoy a spice level of medium. Everyone was saying how incredibly spicy it is so I decided to take it down a notch and ordered mild plus. I'm glad I did. I can normally handle spicy food but at mild plus I was right on the edge. Any spicier and I would not have been able to handle it. The taste was good though and fries were good.

Came on free slider day 10/24. The restaurant was packed with the line going down the sidewalk. I waited about 30 mins in line & got a mild chicken slider. The chicken was very crispy & very well seasoned. I asked for extra Dave's sauce on the side. definitely would order again. The fries are ok. Not the best i've had. The restaurant itself is pretty small but clean. They also have outdoor seating.

Just might be our new favorite chicken spot. At first glance, I wasn't aware that heat range started at none so I didn't chance coming here before. Now I am much wiser and know that there is plenty to choose from on the sauce heat scale. Quality of fry and chicken were great. Bun wasn't soggy, fries were seasoned well and tasty. Sauces were great. All-in-all a great experience at this little fast food spot.

Came across Dave's hot chicken while driving home from the Detroit airport and had to make a stop immediately!! I love all things hot so I ordered the Dave's #4 (HOT) My slider had a kick to it but for me it wasn't hot enough. If you can handle the heat order the next above options. And my brother ordered Dave's #1 (MILD) According to my brother, his mild chicken was perfect but I mean it's mild right? ** If you're considering getting the two slider option - just know that they're normal size and they're not considered your typical slider!** I will be back once I visit Michigan again!

Dave's hot chicken is hands down one of my favorite chicken sandwich place. It's just soo good. It's tender, spicy, always have to add cheese. I've never had a bad experience. They have really bounced back since there opening day. I was there the first day they opened and it was very salty, the seasoning was off, they really did perfect it since then and made it much better. One of my favorite comfort foods out there. DAVES HOT CHICKEN GETS A "BOOM" from me on the boom meter.

Me and my son went here right after it had first opened and I completely forgot to write a review. The wait was almost 40 minutes and the line was out the door and curved around the back upto the parking lot. It was also cold that day. We were so excited by the time it was our turn to order. We got multiple of orders of sliders and the rest was strip meals. They all came with French fries and bread. The sandwiches were so good and we loved the sauce that accompanied the meals. The French fries were golden, crisp and well seasoned. I've had their sandwiches at multiple locations and they've been all good every time. Apart from the long lines opening week, everything else was On Point.

the mac and cheese was disgusting. i got charged for some sauce packets, which i don't think is right. there is no where to sit. i am disappointed with this experience. i don't think i will return.

I've wanted to try Dave's for awhile now, and finally had the opportunity to last weekend! I knew I wanted something spicy, and this was the perfect place to satisfy that craving. I got the Dave's #3 with level "Hot" spicy, because I didn't know what to expect. When we arrived, we saw a table that had 6 water bottles for 3 people and we were a little scared, but once the food arrived, we were really impressed with how tasty it was. I loved how crispy the chicken was, and it was seasoned very well. I thought the Hot had a good kick to it, and the pairings with coleslaw and pickles were super refreshing. I wasn't a huge fan of dave's sauce, but overall it was a good experience. However, because we were there, we also wanted to try the Reaper for fun. We ordered a tender with the Reaper level spice and braced ourselves for it to hit us, but it never did. I would say at this location, it wasn't even as spicy as the Hot option, and this was a huge disappointment because we were expecting a mind numbing spice. I'm not sure how it tastes at other locations, so I don't know if it was an accident or if the reaper really just tastes like that.

Hot chicken, indeed! Very tasty chicken. Tender and generous portions. I had the Dave's #1, which was 2 chicken tenders and fries. They offer a variety of spice levels. I ordered mine medium spicy and wow! It delivered the heat! It was perfect for me. I wouldn't have wanted it any hotter. This felt comfortable and a nice kick. It was supposed to come with a side of Dave's sauce, but mine didn't, so I can't speak to the special Dave's sauce. Bummer. But I was given honey packets and enjoyed those with my chicken. The crinkle fries were crispy, seasoned well and very flavorful. I also tried the Mac n cheese and it was just okay. I ate outside and you can't go directly back in. The door was locked from the patio, so if you want to go back in, you have to exit on to the sidewalk and walk all the way around to the main door, so that makes it a bit inconvenient. Indoor and outdoor dining. This place was busy! Long line but moves quickly. Fast and friendly service. Cool decor and bright colors. Nearby free parking lot and street parking.

My youngest son and I stopped at Dave's on a Wednesday night around 7 for a small bite. Dave's was about a block away from our hotel and I was quite intrigued. I ordered the two fingers and fries (hot) and my youngest son went for two sliders. Two sliders was a better portion! The Dave's sauce is really good. The service was good. I ordered the hot which had a pretty good kick to it. My only drawback was the size. 13 bucks I should get at least three tenders. For a quick bite with a lot of flavor I'd definitely recommend going!

Very dry. Very hot. I'm biased against dry rub of cooking, so there's that. But I was disappointed. I thought the flavor would be punchier and not just hot.

Ghaith and Sadeq excellent customer customer service so much so that I thought they may be the owners kids and I completely asked them that. What I told them was this true fact, I own a rip restaurant and our kids didn't display such service and our children are no longer employed with our business. I mentioned all of that just to show you how valuable these young men are to your business GREAT SERVICE AND TASTY FOOD

I walked in and was able to place my order almost immediately. I ordered the #3 medium spice level. The food was amazing. This is the best spicy chicken I've had. You could taste a little extra cumin but that only added to the flavor. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned, and the fries were phenomenal. The meal also came with some Dave's sauce, picked, and toast bread which was nice. I liked the decor, it was a cool vibe. However, when I got to my table, I noticed that it either wasn't cleaned properly or at all so I had to clean it with napkins. Other than that, I really liked this place and I will most likely be returning sometime in the future.

The Chicken was good but the side dishes lacked of flavor but again if I was getting chicken I'd definitely enjoy the ambiance is pretty typical for fast food restaurants

The sliders are tasty! They call them "sliders" but their size is bigger than what I would consider a slider. The size is more similar to a fast food burger. The spice level is pretty low - I tried hot and was not hot at all. The Dave's sauce is really good. For sides we tried the fries and mac n cheese which were tasty.

Hello my name is April. My family wanted to try your food. So we ordered through Uber eats on Saturday 12/28/24. And we we received cold mushy cold fries, the sliders were cool but very disappointed with those fries. Anyhow stuff happens but once I gave my review on Uber eats. I was contacted with a non working link to reach out to Julie on Sunday and I've been trying it ever since and it still has an error issue. So overall food was ok. I know the 3 star rating is in all fairness.I only reached out on this platform to give an official review since there is no other way to give my feedback. Thanks anyway and appreciate you reading.

This was so delicious! I got one hot and one medium, just incase the hot was too hot. Such good flavor, I love that it's a spice rather than a sauce. I would recommend anyone trying this. I will for sure be ordering again! Highly recommended!

Another day in Dearborn and another hot chicken spot. I don't know when this town became the premiere place to find some amazing chicken sandwiches, but man I'm disappointed I didn't jump on that train sooner. Came here for lunch, as it was not too far away and it was right downtown off Michigan Ave. so pretty easy to find. I hope Dearborn keeps its free parking lots because it does make this whole experience that much nicer. Walking in, I couldn't help but notice Dave's also had mural/graffiti on the wall as decoration. This must be the trend cause I have seen it many times over at this point, but I digress. There isn't much to say about the insides decor. It was pretty basic in design and set up. The table I sat at first was very sticky as was the second one, but I did see someone was coming around and cleaning so no issues there. Now onto the main attraction: the chicken. I asked the young woman at the counter what she would recommend as this was my first time at the restaurant and she suggested the combo since it came with a sandwich, a tender, fries and a slice of toast. I whole heartedly accepted her suggestion and waited anxiously for my meal to be prepared. Just to be safe I ordered medium heat which she said was strong without overpowering the flavors. I was very happy with my decision to listen. The food came out relatively quickly and I was glad for this as I was on a time limit obviously. I started with the tender and it was perfect. The breading was uniform and well coated and the piece itself was a very nice size. I dipped it into the honey they provided and it was absolutely wonderful. The mixture of sweet and heat was a delight. Then I moved onto the sandwich. Now I'm not sure if all the sandwiches are this size or if this was smaller cause it was part of this combo, but it is not a large portion, but still a very filling sandwich. Instead of a breaded patty they use a chicken strip, cover it in Dave's hot sauce and add a scoop of coleslaw. I added some honey to it as just mere minutes ago I discovered how delicious that was. Once again, I can't praise the flavors enough. Just an absolute treat to eat this. The only reason I didn't give this 5* was because I thought the slice of bread looked a bit meager and my fries were hard and slightly overcooked. But that's just being nitpicky, I know, but it is a part of the experience. Anyway, it's probably a good thing I don't live close by or I'd be be eating a chicken sandwich every day. Can't wait to come back and eat here again. Kudos!

I've been to Dave's Hot Chicken twice now. Both times, I've had the 1 Slider and 1 Tender combo, with fries. I have to say that I'm not overly impressed. I think the spicy chicken sandwich at Popeye's is better. The fries were crinkle-cuts that reminded me of grocery store Ore Ida's that you'd warm up in your oven. I did like the Tender, but only after I smothered it with Dave's sauce and honey. Still, it isn't something I'd go out of my way for. As it has been mentioned before, the value just isn't there.

Great chicken, great staff. We got the number 3, one slider (Medium Heat), 1 tender (Hot Heat Level) The flavors of the chicken were great and the chicken was juicy and hot. It came with crinkle cut fries, those were nicely salted are crispy. We also had their Vanilla milkshake but that was nothing special. It just tasted like a mid grade vanilla ice cream. But what's a hot chicken place without a milkshake to combat with the heat?! The staff was sweet and the restaurant had a nice vibe to it. One of the best costumer experiences we've had; they most definitely made us feel welcome. Would ABSOLUTELY come back, in fact, we have! It's too good not to give a chance if you're debating it. The best chicken tenders you'll ever taste Slider- 10/10 Tender- 10/10 Fries:9/10 Milkshake:6.5/10 Service-10/10 Price per person ($15-$20)

Employees have amazing energy, got the reaper had to sign 2 wavers to get the reaper which made it even more exciting to get, and food was delicious over all.

Visiting the Henry Ford from Ontario Canada and lucked out when we happened upon Dave's Hot Chicken. The Chicken Tenders, The Sliders, The Spice How You Like, Fry's, Mac n Cheese, Dave's Sauce, Pure Honey totally amazing. Great Staff, Friendly Atmosphere, Good Value. Will definitely be back

I got the number 3 which is the Single Tender and the sandwich. I liked the tender a lot it had a lot of flavor I just don't like cole slaw which was in the sandwich. I was kind of disappointed they don't have ranch but they have their orange Side of Dave's Sauce, ketchup, and honey. The Mac and cheese was good and it came with pickles and I like pickles.

Finally some Nashville hot chicken in Michigan. The food was excellent and the service was quick!

SO GOOD. I've seen Dave's Hot Chicken all over social media and was so stoked to try it when I heard Michigan opened a location. The line was pretty long when I arrived but it was very efficient and I did not have to wait long. The chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious. The crunch was perfect and not overly battered and the chicken was so juicy! The flavors were outstanding and it just made for a really good sandwich. Can't wait to come here again!

Ignore the photos from the business as this is a far cry from what you'll get. Very basic food. Won't be back. 2 stars because the staff was friendly.

Our Dave's isn't open yet, so I figured I'd try this location since we were near it. And I am so glad that I did! I wasn't aware that the sandwiches were sliders, so I was a little confused looking at the menu. When I got my food, I realized that the pieces of chicken were massive, and the buns were so soft. The Dave's sauce is pretty tasty as well. I got the No Spice version, and I was pleased. I'm a punk when it comes to spicy foods, so I appreciate the fact they have something for us non-spicy lovers! The fries were nice and crispy, and the sauce complimented them perfectly. I wish I could've gotten a few more fries, but other than that, no complaints. I cannot wait for the Columbus, OH (Dublin) location to open. I plan on dipping these sliders into some Cane's sauce! (Insert Evil Laugh) Sliders 1-5=5. Fries 1-5=4. Sauce 1-5=5.

Nashville hot chicken is a food fad that hasn't died yet and likely will not for awhile. I am grateful there is a Dave's nearby now as it is supposedly a popular franchise. The menu is very simple and easy to read. The food is a bit expensive but very satisfying and the tenders are actually a decent size compared to other places offering similar food. The "Hot" level was the perfect balance of spicy and flavorful for my tasted, and their famous sauce is a wonderful creamy complement to it. They even give honey packets which I love as far as adding a bit of sweetness. Mac N Cheese very creamy and worth it if you want a side. Wish it was a little cheaper, but can't complain.

Good chicken, everything else was Meh. First, the reason to go: the chicken. Very mild had some kick, while mild was, to us, spicy. No bones, quite tender. Good! The French fries were like the kind you get in the freezer section at Kroger. Yuck. The kale salad was blaaand, would not get again. And the serving size, which you can see in the photo, was too little. Mac-n-cheese was like Gordon Food Service -- would not get again. Mushy over cooked pasta with decently flavored cheese sauce. Not sure what happened with the Yelp delivery, but they didn't indicate it was delivered, so by the time I thought to check the porch because it was 10 mins past the longest delivery estimate, there was our food, sitting on the porch getting cold.

Had been hearing a lot about this place and wanted to get in to check it out. Once I realized I was in the area of it, I had to stop in. In checking out the menu online, I opted to place the order there and go in to pick it up. I ordered Combo #2 which is two sliders (I added cheese) and opted to sub out the fries for the Mac & Cheese. I like a little heat so I decided on Medium. I really like the Dave's sauce and regretted not getting fries to put it on. For my son, I ordered Combo #1 which is two tenders and fries. He likes it hot so I ordered his Hot. Surprisingly the hot was too hot for him but he endured it because it was so good. I'll know to get Medium heat when I return. This lived up to the hype for me.

Placed my order online. It was easy to do. $12 was a bit expensive for this meal in my opinion, but all in all it was pretty good. The fries were perfect. I am not a fan of crinkle fries but when they are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, I'm a fan! The slices of bread was a new twist & I'm here for it. I will definitely come back again.
