Dave’s Hot Chicken

It was our first time here and we were satisfied! The cashier Eric was very welcoming and explained the entire menu to my wife and I as well as answered any questions. I typically tip for good service and this was one of those time! Food was VERY good! We decided to give this place a try when seeing it on our way to Chic-Fil-a were very happy to have tried it! We will come back! Emploees like Eric who strive to make customers satisfied is what gets people like us coming back! Exceptional Service!!

Here is my review about this place 1-Decoration 8/10: it's okay a lot of lights and flashy. And a lot of space inside 2- Ambiance 8/10: there were some people Mostly kids , teenagers and family, but I don't think you can make a birthday party there. 3- service 9.5/10: the service was pretty good.I'm not gonna lie compared to other places that I went.He explained everything and told me that I had to sign a waiver if I wanted the reaper. 4- food 9/10: It was pretty good compared to other places that I went. 5- cleanest 7.5/10: The place was clean, it knitted a little bit more love and the restrooms were fine, even if they needed a little bit of help. Yes, I do recommend this place , If you like spicy but I didn't find it that's spicy even if I took the extra hot.Maybe next time, I should try the Reaper.

I highly recommend this location. It was very busy when I walked in. The team seemed very calm and composed. The food was hot and the staff members were very friendly and helpful to every customer in line and ordering. I decided to dine in and noticed that all of the front of house staff members stayed consistently on top of making sure that the tables were clean . I highly recommend them The manager on duty was also very nice Good job team everyone of you guys deserves a raise. Keep up the good work Five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Danny and Julisa where great very helpful, made sure we where attended to in line when they were busy. We needed a place to sit and Danny was already in his way to wipe down a table for us, and took our order with great energy and attitude! Love a grat service when being indecisive of what I want to eat. Thank you guys! Foods always good fresh and hot

Solid fried chicken tenders here. They have indoor and outdoor seatings. Staff is friendly and helpful. The drinks variety is good and they have plain ice tea. Plenty of parking and close by to the Galleria and transit options.

This is a great addition to the rise in popularity of fried chicken. What sets Dave's chicken patties/fingers apart is how tender it is. I love the story of how this business started. It's my son's favorite Chicken sandwich place. Although my spice tolerance is high, I was fine with spicy or regular. I dont think I can go for spicier. The mac and cheese is really cheesy and not dry. Definitely, enjoyed Dave's chicken and will be back. (Note: Logistically its a little odd. The line to order starts in the far rear and the dining area is right by the entrance. Formerly a Starbucks years ago and maybe that's why?) Adequate parking in this ministrip mall.

I made a stop here so I can use their restroom while I wait on my next bus home. While the wait was super long, I managed to make my bus on time. I ordered a plain chicken meal with bread, pickles, and fries. I added extra for a soda. After eating the chicken pieces, which tastes a little funny, I got a little sick. Nonetheless, I found out they do a kiosk to make ordering a lot easier.

Danny helped me out order something on the menu as a newcomer. He was great with service and helped me out and explained to me the items on the menu. I will be coming back to Dave's for sure. The slider #4 is very tasty, got to appreciate the amazing workers there as well Julissa,Jacob Paul,Jayla very welcoming.

I was excited to see Dave's Hot Chicken finally open in the South Bay; it's the perfect spot! There's plenty of parking and both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the fries and tenders, which were perfectly crispy with just the right level of heat. Since I'm not a fan of super spicy food, I appreciated that they offer a hot-but-not-too-spicy option. The tenders were huge and satisfying, and the dipping sauce made them even more delicious. The crinkle-cut fries are one of my favorites, and of course, no hot chicken meal is complete without white bread and pickles! The indoor seating can get a bit crowded, so I'm glad there's an outdoor area as well.

Angel provided the best service! He greeted us immediately and was attentive and friendly answering our questions regarding the drink options and offered us samples to ensure we were happy with the meal! -Justin was cool too, he checked on us and also made sure we had a clean table. I'm from Reno, and we don't have a Dave's Hot Chicken yet, so I thought we'd give it a try since we got some recommendations for it while we were here. We ordered the #2, two sliders and fries and split it between the two of us. Additionally, we ordered the Powerade slushee, and the Strawberry Lemonade slushee. The slushees are the type that have pretty thick ice, so you could drink all the flavoring out before the ice melts, but the flavors were good! I really enjoyed the sliders, the slaw and pickles on them really make it good. And you can't have it without Dave's sauce! We ordered medium heat, which I didn't think was hot at all. Next time I will level up. The crinkle cut fries were good too, and I liked the seasoning on them, I thought that was something different from other hot chicken places. The cashier was nice and efficient. I believe his name was Aldair, and the lady that gave us the food was really nice, she told us her name was Mika. The line to order can get a little cramped, but there is a lot of seating inside and outside the restaurant. We came at a busy time, so we had to wait a little for our to-go order, but it still tasted great by the time we got it home! This is a nice spot if you're craving some spicy chicken tenders in a slider or on their own. The portions are good. Next time, I would like to try their mac and cheese and milkshakes.

Yo Danny was respectful and his curtesy was impeccable threes in the air would recommend this Dave's to anyone other than the vegetarian out there, the only thing how the fuck we get the boba discontinued wassup with Dave's tho.

Solid hot chicken spot. The sliders are good size, two will filler up. The bun, slaw, sauce, and pickles complement the chicken well. There is a heat scale to choose from. Medium heat provides warmth and slight heat, with a light peppery flavor. The crisp on the chicken and fries is perfect. The pickles are good, classic Dave's pickles. Dave's bread and butter pickles would be perfect with the sliders if you like sweet and spicy pickles. Not sure if they have them though. Will be going back when I have the craving. Solid 4-star hot chicken place but 5-stars because of the staff there. Great energy.

He wanted hot chicken, I wasn't hungry so I hopped on over to Dave's and procured a couple of Extra Hot fingers for him. He said they were decent and he enjoyed the spiciness. I should have at least had a bite, but I didn't so I have to relay his opinion here. I ordered online - it was easy and was ready in about 20 minutes. A quick drive to the shop and my order was ready when I arrived. The fingers traveled well, that is they were not soggy in the container - an issue that plagues many hot items packed to go. These were crispy fresh. He gobbled 'em down and mentioned he wasn't really sure why he didn't opt for the Reaper heat. He's got an asbestos mouth and stomach, so we'll have to remember that for next time. His enjoyment prompted me to make a note that a hot chicken sammich would be in the cards sometime in the future. I have a fav hot chicken sammich joint, but it's at least a 20 minute drive. 15 more minutes than Dave's. Loads of parking. Online ordering was super. Restaurant was tidy...but very crowded.

Really? They call this "sliders". I basically got two pieces of nuggets for $9. This place is way over priced and the "sliders" were nothing special. The bun was good, the nugget was ok but not worth the value at all.

Went here at 1am a few days ago. I got the #3 combo, a slider and a tender with fries. I initially ordered via their kiosk but the payment device reset. Then I placed an order online for pickup since there was one person at the front and they seemed busy with expediting orders. Make order came out about 15 minutes later than expected. Other than that, customer service was decent. All the employees seemed friendly. For my order: Slider was great. The chicken had a nice crunch to it and seasoning was on point. I liked that they added a bunch of pickles to go with it. Tender was smaller than I expected but the batter was great and it had some nice heat to it. Fries were nicely seasoned and crisp. Overall I was impressed with the quality considering the mass expansion of the chain. I would definitely go to this location again.

Torrance Food Crawl #431 Dave's Hot Chicken first opened in 2017, in Los Angeles. Since then, they've grown to almost 200 locations throughout the United States. While an appreciation for spicy hotness is why most people will come here, the chicken is why you'll come back, and the chicken is excellent. There are two basic ways that chicken is served: in a slider (aka small sandwich) or as a chicken tender. These can be ordered à la carte or in several different combinations. The chicken is very good and enjoyable regardless of the spice level. You can choose from seven levels of spice: no spice, lite mild, mild, medium, hot, extra hot, and reaper. I'm past the point in life where I'll automatically take the 'challenge' level, but I will say that the 'hot' level is quite spicy, about as hot as I like it, while still providing some enjoyment of the flavor and taste of the chicken. On weekends, I've experienced longer lines, taking up to 20-25 minutes to make and get my order, but the service has been very quick on weekday afternoons.

I've been here once about 2 years ago and it was great, but when I went the other day I couldn't say the same. Me and my friend waited about an hour for our meals which was ridiculous, and it seemed like other people were also getting frustrated with long wait time. When we finally got our food to go, I realized they didn't even give us napkins (and if you've had Daves you know it gets messy). Unfortunately safe to say I will not be returning.

Got our order wrong again! Is there any accountability at Dave's Hot? Ordered a slider and they gave us tenders. Paid extra for nothing.

Wow this location is the spot. The service was fantastic. Jorge and (forgive me I think it was Travis) were fantastic! The nugget ice was a nice surprise! The chicken spice level of mild and medium with the sauce was delicious. The cuts of chicken felt a little chewy at times but still worth the trip to grab some chicken. The interior has seating and you can also order to go. They have a buzzer to give you so you know when your food is ready. They have beer behind the counter by the way, which I didn't notice until after checking out. Don't forget your first responder discount and thank you for your service!

Any of the Dave's Hot locations that I've been to have always had pretty good customer service, but THIS is the one you want to go to for real... literally knocks it out of the park! Not just one, but ALL of the employees here are ALWAYS: attentive, SO friendly & cool, and working hard whether they are working register, kitchen, or just simply keeping the entire restaurant sparkling clean! Danny is the face of this spot for sure, I literally thought he was the owner the first time I came in, just genuinely exudes BOSS qualities! Guaranteed to always make me laugh too! Have to mention my other two faves, Jacob & Julissa!!!! This team just rocks even late into the night when they get their mad rush of people, you won't ever catch them slipping. And of course the best part... the food is always FIRE.These days extraordinary customer service is so hard to find, coming from someone who has worked so many years trying to keep it alive, I know how important it is that the whole team participates... these guys just FLOW! Thank you guys for always killing it!!! No complaints.

Still on our mission to try every chicken sandwich in the South Bay, we decided to make a stop at Dave's Hot Chicken today. Cute spot with great murals. Easy to order, friendly order taker at the counter, and easy to read menu. Only complaints at this point was the very limited seating...it took a minute to find an open table. And a few of the drink dispensers were not working at all. One of the soda flavors was completely out, so it took a few tries to find a soda that tasted right. Our orders were ready fairly quickly, but despite us stating "eat in" we ended up with our food in to-go containers and not baskets. I went with the #4: slider and fries. Hubs got the #2: two sliders (because he was picturing a small pub sized slider and not a full sandwich that it turned out to be). The sandwiches were nice and crunchy, a plus. Relatively moist. But not as hot as I normally like. I'd heard mixed reviews on the spice levels so we decided to go with medium heat. It had a little heat to it, but not much of that warm burn that I was expecting, so will probably turn up the heat next time (and be able to use those extra honey packets that we didn't need in the end). Soft bun, lots of extra sauce/ketchup/honey packets, plenty of pickles, but not much cheese sauce (definitely not as much as in the photos shown at the location). The fries were perfect. Warm and crispy. Actually my favorite item on the plate...

I don't really care if the food is slow to come out it's so good, but the layout of this place is absolutely terrible. The walkable area is in the shape of an "L". Whoever designed this place did a horrible job and loves to make ppl as uncomfortable as possible. And where you order is all the way in the back with no real waiting area.

Food was ok. Service was ok. The dining area is so hot in the afternoon with the sun blaring through the big windows. And there are no window coverings. The drink dispenser is in this very narrow area. Overall very odd and doesn't make me want to go back

The chicken was ok, however the price is a bit high for a non drink combo, at $12.99 the or the #1, there are other fast food places that will include a drink for the same price. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Music was very loud so not a location when you can really have a conversation. Probably would not visit again.

The food was good service a bit slow for a Thursday at 2:15 but the restaurant was disgusting. When you walk in trash was packed all the tables were dirty and there was liquid on the floor by the drinks. I asked for a table inside to be cleaned so that we were able to eat our food and the heavy set. Guy at the register said he would be there shortly never came after more than 10 mins so I had to wipe down table myself. Two workers came out saw the trash and tables never emptied or cleaned anything and by the time we left the heavy set guy came to empty trash but all tables were dirty. They need to keep this restaurant cleaner than this. This was a sign of bad management and cleanliness made me wonder what the kitchen looked like. Do better or get a better team so many people looking for jobs.

Gave this place another shot. Scheduled our order an hour ahead of time, to pick up at 11:30 am. I arrived at 11:25 and was told the order wasn't ready, because they "just received" it. I finally got our order at 11:45, 15 minutes late. The food is good, but if you're going to offer a service, staff your restaurant appropriately to deliver on the service offered.

Solid! Dave's is now in the South Bay! Woot! Came in for lunch and wasn't too hungry, so I went with just one slider and some cheese fries. Free drink with Yelp Check In! Score! Slider was tasty! Went with hot and it was hot! Best part about this meal was the cheese fries. In all my Dave's visits, todays visit HOOKED UP the cheese fries. It was the largest portion of fries, and the most cheese sauce I have ever received at a Dave's. Score! Service was friendly. Cashier had to get a manager to check in the Yelp deal, but all was good. Glad to have this around in the South Bay!

Been to a couple other locations and was in the area so popped in for some lunch. Service is friendly and in line with other stores. Parking is pretty easy with a large lot outside which is shared by other businesses. Got the #2 which is 2 sandwiches fries and a drink. Way too much food and my mistake ordering so much... very , very good chicken and fries. Drink station needs some help.. all fizzy sugary drinks... the iced tea dispenser didn't look very appealing so skip that... Do request an extra sauce packet and some honey.. takes the chicken to a new level!

I hope yall know it's illegal to not give free cups of water in California which your associate said wasn't true. Easy google search, ALSO THIS PLACE WILL SERVE YOU WITH DIRTY HANDS YOU CANT USE THE SINK WITHOUT USING ONE HAND TO DISPERSE WATER WHICH IS UNSANITARY. Yall need serious fixing because this is outrageous and will expect to hear back also need to add it took 20 minutes to get a slider and fries. Idk who the district manager is but you need to review this store and staff.
