What a cute place! I've driven past it for years but finally decided to stop in. They have a wide selection of citrus themed candy, snacks, trinkets, and apparel. Prices are actually not bad for a gift shop. I came home with caramel peach coconut tea and orange flavored chapstick. They also have a great selection of samples for nearly all their food products. While I didn't take the factory tour, they're readily available to help you if you ask. Davidson of Dundee truly gives you a feel of what authentic Florida is like. Really pleased with this place and looking forward to coming back!

Stopped in with family and was blown away by the huge selection of candy, chocolates, jellies, butters, and even pie fillings! You can sample just about anything and they also have a full souvenir section and a viewing area where you can watch the candy being made. Such an awesome place; we’ll definitely be back!

This store is amazing! I’ve passed it numerous times and always wanted to go in. They have chocolate, gummy candy, marmalades and everything. Everything is freshly made in house and has been since the late 60s! Come in and try a sample. So delicious

Liked this place, had several samples of jams, candy, oranges, plus also sell chapstick in orange flavor, magnets, place mats, and some other small souvenirs. Friendly staff and we place an order for oranges every year in December which is shipped to Mom. She loves them and said they were very delicious. Highly recommend..

We love this place! Everything tastes so good. There are gifts for everyone. You can even watch them at work on the factory.

Amazing! Candies are delicious. I wasn't expecting that or the oranges. They are always so tart but not these! Plus the store has some cool Florida souvenirs. I was skeptical, but definitely one of the best stops on our road trip!

Stepping into the door is like taking a time warp back to my youth. My parents used to take me here as a child and I loved it. Free candy samples, hellooo! Coming back and although the area has grown, fortunately Davidson hasn’t changed. Bonus if you can get there when the honey bells are in season January-mid March. Those “oranges” are amazing! We leave with two bags and a heap of candy. ;-)

I think the first time we came here was back in around 2009 but it has been a couple years since the last time I stopped through. It's a good drive from where we live and I usually stop if I have other things in the area the vet we use is near here And sometimes I combine it with a trip to them, but this time was after a medical appointment. This is a really long building and when you first stop in, you might think there are multiple businesses, but it's all open inside with one store. Every time we stop here the people working are friendly and helpful. They always have free samples on some of the candies and occasionally on some of the Preserves that they sell. I'm a big fan of their jellies, jams, preserves, and conserves and more. On this occasion, we picked up an assortment of their candies and a couple of jars. One is a raspberry jalapeño jelly and the other one is a blueberry conserve. These are both new ones for us to try and they both sound delicious. I like shopping here because you get to support a local business and everything is tasty. The places well lit and always clean. If you're traveling, they also provide shipping on many of their products. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area.

Found this local gem by accident and just had to stop by. Great shop with a vast selection of candies, jams, jellies, butters and chocolates. Bunch of local souvenirs. Definitely a must for the tourists. There's a factory right inside the store and you can watch how everything is made. They use their own recipes too. The only negative thing in my opinion they have some artificial food coloring added to products but the taste is amazing regardless. There's a sampling to pick your favorite sweets. The personnel is very nice and helpful

Dundee is a small Central Florida town along the Lake Wales Ridge, 50 miles south of Orlando and 30 miles from Kissimmee. This is where you will find the most uniquely Florida candy store. Back in the early 1900s T. W. Davidson grew oranges, grapefruit, and tangerines near Dundee. In the 1960s his son, Glen, planted his own citrus groves and started Davidson of Dundee. Glen had a career with the large candy companies up north. In Florida he created his own version of the citrus candy, based on a recipe his mother used to make with sugar cane and citrus juice. He used the fresh juices from his groves so the candy retained its full citrus flavor. Davidson of Dundee is now run by Glen's son, Tom Davidson. The candy company has been featured on the Food Network, Fox, CBS, ABC, and has also been featured in Smart Money and Southern Living magazines. The process of making delicious jam and candy starts in their own 200 acre citrus orchard where they grow Valencia oranges, tangerines, and key limes. The harvested fruit is then taken into the kitchens at Davidson where the it is cut and juiced. Jelly is made from juice, jam contains the pulp, and marmalade contains the peel. None of the fruit goes to waste. The juice is also used in the candy. You can watch the process from the large glass windows. Whole fruit is shipped to people all over the country. One of the highlights of a visit to Davidsons is the free samples. Tom still makes the citrus flavored jelly candy his dad created but he has also experimented with new flavors. You can buy the candy in small bags or in different gift basket combinations. In addition to the jam, jelly, spreads, and candy, Davidson also sells chocolate alligators, tea, sauces, dressings, and Florida souvenirs. I couldn't resist the pecan logs and strawberry delight jelly candy. If you can't make it in person they have an online store.

Best candy store with reasonable prices! We found this store by accident last year and made a point to go back this year. Perfect place to get gifts! Would highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in Orlando.

I saw on an IG friend post that they stopped by here and I always wanted to come here. And I couldn't believe that during this year's road trip our route crossed right into this place. I was so estatic and excited that we can actually hit this place. Slight detour but so worth it. We got there super early. They just opened and we were the only ones there. A nice lady gave us a mini tour. Took time to explain their factory and allowed us to freely sample many of their samples. Jams, jellies and candy. Everything tasted so good. And love how much they gave. I had so much fun in there. I wish I could have bought everything too. The jams aren't cheap but reasonably priced. I wanted to buy them all to gift and try lol but in order to get a discount you have to buy a dozen or so. The candies too had different packages and prices. Affordable and fair. They have a shell section and it was so cheap. Overall a very fun souvenir shop! Clean and friendly. Stop here if you have a chance. You won't be disappointed. Something for everyone

This is the best place for fresh Florida citrus candies, marmalades, jellies and chocolates. I love that they have samples of all their jellies, fruits and marmalades. The staff is extremely helpful but also gives you time and space to view the large variety of goodies. They also have wonderful gift baskets ranging in all sizes and prices.

We enjoyed a fun tour, watched the workers make and package candy, and learned about the company. We tasted samples. Then we purchased goodies. Their marmalade, jelly, and butters are all out if this world, nothing like a grocery store at all. This place is worth it for these items alone. The chocolate and jelly candies are ok, not the best we have had, but it was 100% fresh and you could absolutely tell!

A place to taste, buy, gummies, chocolates, the children are given coloring pages, they prepare things themselves, they have a mini machine, I loved the place. Although there are parts of the establishment that are closed due to the covid. Soon they will open

Unique establishment caters to locals & tourists alike. Factory has Citrus candies left side, hand in the middle & citrus on right side. There's jams, fillings, honey candies, fruit & free sampling! Unique souvenirs from small honey bears, key chains, candies, tees, honey straws etc. when the factory is up & production it's fun to stand & observe. It's a little different with all the new regulations & guidelines but still worth stopping in..

Do not buy their "jams" as they are just sugar, water and food coloring and are not a real fruit jam as they should be. The company is fully aware of this and they have a bad attitude when you call them to let them know you are dissatisfied with their product. Furthermore, they are very expensive. To get credit for a jam that you buy in one of the tourist traps that carry their jam, you must go to their store in Dundee, FL. They do not care if you live far away and cannot return there.

Love the jelly candies especially the strawberry. Free samples of the jellies, butters and marmalade. Make sure you ask for a tour even if they aren't making candy or jelly. You will learn just why everything tastes so good here.

Overpriced, supermarket fruit and candy. Nothing special, nothing you can't go to any grocery store to buy. The marmalade is subpar. I can get BETTER in any grocery store. The coconut patties are Anastasia coconut patties, that can be purchased at BJ's, $9.99 for a bag of 16. Total ripoff, don't waste your time and money with this.

Great place for jelly candy made with real fresh fruit! Nicely displayed and they had free samples!! Nice gift packages available and they will send anywhere in the US. I bought some of the soft jelly fruit candy and a jar of orange marmalade!!! A nice place to take the kids too!! They sell all kind of gifts besides candy as well!! Highly recommend visiting!

I totally recommend you to stop here if you are visiting the area. They offer you a free tour where you can see how they make their products: Jelly, candy, chocolates, and also you can have as many free samples as your sweet tooth can take!! I love sweets and I tried everything they have! The prices are fair and believe me! The candy is delicious

This is always a must visit when I come to Florida. The people are nice, the candy is great and so are the jellies and marmalades. They have tons of jellies you can sample and at least 8 different candies to sample. The jelly candies are my absolute favorite and the coconut parties are good too. If you are anywhere near this place you really need to visit.

This is a very unique shop. They sell different sorts of candies and very interesting flavors of jarred jelly. They have a tasting section. The Florida coconut patties are really good

When you do something nobody else does, with an excellent quality & price point that is more than fair, you get 5 stars. End of story. okay, maybe not end yet. ha. Great soft citrus candies with sugar coating (like gumdrops). Tangerine is the best flavor! Cut in squares or cut in gator shapes. Pecan rolls, peanut butter crunch, cashew brittle, fudge or bark. A candy factory you can tour (weekdays, not weekends). Many jams & jellies, all of which you can taste before you buy. ( I love the honeybell or jalapeno jellies.) Coconut butter. Citrus taffy. A room full of fresh citrus, in season. An ice cream room. Many fancy dressings and sauces. Chocolate alligators (and some "real" gator heads). What fun local edible souvenirs..... This place is Floricana (Americana?) at its best. Worthy of your stop.

Touristy place that makes and sells citrus candies and jellies. I expected a real tourist trap. And indeed this place had the stereotypical imprinted shot glasses and dead alligator heads. But they do give you a mini factory tour and their treats are pretty good. I particularly liked the ruby red marmalade - bought some! Davidson's is worth a brief stop.

Went here on a Monday morning with an out of town visitor. Only two workers in the back area preparing to make candy. Got to take pics of them pouring liquid candy into a pan. Place is very clean and the front staff very friendly explaining the candy making process and history during the factory 'tour' which consisted of being in the back area in front of the glass panes watching the two workers preparing for the day. There were free samples of jellies and candies which were delicious, however the discounted jellies for sale in jars looked spoiled compared to the full priced jellies and really should have been thrown out instead of trying to sell them. We bought a couple of souvenirs which were decently priced and will come back for the chewy jelly candy which we especially liked because it didn't stick to the teeth like regular store bought candy.

Lots of product and it is cool that you can look at where they are making candies, etc. We came in 20 min before closing so obviously no factory tour then. The lady working clearly wanted us out so she could close up. Left without purchasing anything (nothing offered). Too bad.

If you want DELICIOUS chocolate and citus products galore, head to Davidson's. They still make everything the same way they did 50 + years ago in a building that brings you back to old Florida in all its glory. You can even watch the candy and preserves being made! The people who work there are warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. Ann is our new friend. She is one of the treasures at Davidson's!

Awesome place. They were very friendly, LOTS of free samples laying around, was able to try all the jams and chewies and most of the chocolates, wandered around and saw the factory, which was happily sparkling clean and luckily did not smell like a mix of burning sugar and chemicals (looking your way Jelly Belly) but instead was light and citrussy. I was THRILLED to find the chewies in a package of JUST RED ONES, (not sure what the "chewies" are really called, but they are the rectangular fraternal twin of Sunkist fruit gems) usually they only have citrus flavors, but when berries are in season....mmmm red chewies. I was pretty surprised at the prices too, everything was very reasonable, if you came in here with even $5 and were smart you could get 3 or 4 different things. Again, totally worth a stop if you are in the vicinity.

It's a fun little stop on the highway. We weren't there on a day when they were making candy, unfortunately. But they have plenty of samples out and the quality is pretty decent. Prices aren't too bad, either. The place is pretty dated, but that's about the only thing I'd change about it.

So much more than a fruit stand! The staff makes candies and jellies on site They have a viewing area where you can watch the process. The staff gives a free mini tour and offers a number of free samples. The staff is very friendly and takes time to answer any questions. We just couldn't leave without purchasing a variety of itms to take back home with us. Oh and a course they sell fruit!

Cool place! Fudge candy ice cream wine. They have it all. Try the blue berry ice cream I couldn't get enough of it.

Today went to this for second time. Very nice place and nice people.. You can get some jam, jelly, jewelry and others.. We recommend this place too.

We made a stop here on our tour with Diamond Tours. Not very impressive at all. I guess if you grew up in a household that did not make homemade jams and jellies it would have been a little more interesting. For us it took about 5 minutes to see everything in the shop. I would not recommend this attraction.

daughter purchased two items, my granddaughters brought them to me. jelly candy, and small jars jelly/marmalade. No taste, too colorful to be orange, threw away the candy, kept the box so i could send bar codes. sent email, received email with no relevant info, did get info about another person's order. called the customer service number on email. was told it has nothing to do with them. another store's issue. going to the media

This place is super cool! Such a fun and interactive place for kids and families. They make the marmalade and candy on sight and let you sample all of the flavors after giving you a free tour!! The sales people are very friendly and everything is local to Florida. If you are in the area, you have to stop by-worth your time!

It's a very quaint and unique store. Lots of Florida citrus candy options. Good varies of candy. The Florida Easter bunny (I.e. A chocolate gator) was darling and will be adorable for an Easter basket.

One of the best little places to visit in Florida. I love to watch the candy being made but the best part of course is eating it! And it is affordable enough so I can take candy and jellies home to all my friends. Please don't ever change. A trip to Florida just wouldn't be right without a stop at your candy factory!
